After a other battle with Eggman, Amy cheered, the team congrats her for her skills being improved, but Sonic was quite disappointed and mad at her was actually trying too much for her luck in battles, by adventuring too much, risking her life that way Sonic doesn't really appreciate that Amy is making too much dangerous moves at the red zones. Also why does he feel overprotective over Amy? We believe Sonic isn't romantic but he can "CARE" for her, GO! 3

You want a situation where Amy has helped in the battle, they're grateful for it and praise her, but Sonic is worried she's placing herself too much in the fray, relying on luck a lot to narrowly escape, and risking her life all because she wants to be closer to him. Therefore, he doesn't want her coming along to a 'dangerous red zone' kind of mission. He's not the romantic type, but he is protective of Amy, so make it look like he cares about her, right?

I think I get the gist. So here we go! :D

(Amy's not a princess, Sonic. Sometimes, you have to believe in her own abilities, even if you're worried about her, she can handle herself when she needs too. :3)

After a tough mission, and many dangerous and dark tones coming up, Sonic is slightly upset that Amy refused to abandon them and get to safety, as he was constantly worried about her in the back of his mind, and it caused him to lose some focus too.

Folding his arms and looking back at Tails and Knuckles praising Amy's skills from a moment before when she tried to help out the fight through the corner of his eye, he huffed and looked away.

He just wanted her to be safe, but even still, he was mostly upset she didn't listen to him. In dangerous situations like that, it's best she does just do as he says, so that nothing 'accidentally' happens and he ends up having a very hurt friend on his hands.

"You did pretty good, kiddo." Knuckles ruffles Tails's head, as Tails smiles and scratches the back of his own head, embarrassed a bit.

"Nah, it was nothing. I'm just glad Amy was able to aim her hammer so well. Without that precision, Sonic would of hand his hands full with fighting that 8-armed robot!" Tails praised, as Amy had used her hammer throwing skills to knock out arms from the robot through switches under the armpits, which Sonic would help the robot to reach up or forward to get the switches to show.

Still… that Robot's arms almost skimmed her at times, and he was distracted by worrying about her more than finishing his own mission at destroying the robot.

"Heh, it was bold. I'll give it that much…" Sonic didn't mean to come off cold, but he certainly wasn't happy with her.

"W-what do you mean, Sonic?" Amy felt a little hurt, but mostly confused by his response.

Sonic just continued to turn his head away, and closed his eyes, ignoring her to show he was upset with her.

"Aw, don't take it too much to heart, Amy." Tails looked back to her, smiling. "I'm sure Sonic's just upset you didn't listen to him before. But I'm also sure he's very glad you pitched in where you did, or he'd really be in a pinch!" Tails winked, making her smile and nod, but look back to Sonic with worry that he was mad at her.

Knuckles just stomped a foot down and leaned forward with his fist held high, angrily yelling towards Sonic. "Hey! Show some respect! She saved your butt out there! The least you could do is thank her!"

"For what? Endangering herself? That was too close for comfort, and she could have-" Sonic started before Amy stepped forward for her own self, making him flinch back a moment and unfold his arms.

"Could have what? You of all people should know I'm fully capable of taking care of myself! I-"

"Really? Cause I remember quite clearly risking my life saving you from that hord of laser fire!" Sonic stepped forward, as Amy stepped back, seeing he was actually really upset with her. "You can't keep playing with fate, Amy! If I wasn't there, you'd-"

"But you were there!" Amy shouted out, but halted all anger as it seemed she was really sad right now. He was basing her performance of this adventure off of a moment that COULD of been bad for her… and he was too fixated on that one moment that he saved her to believe that she could look out for herself. "You'll always be there… so if I ever need you, you'll come running to save me… right?"

Sonic had tightened his fist, but hearing her words, he stepped back and dropped his tension in them, looking down and away at her. He really wanted to believe she could handle herself, but moments like those always made him cautious about her safety…

"I just… want you to be safe." he admitted.

Tails and Knuckles looked to each other, before smiling and closing their eyes for a moment, and looking back at Sonic.

"She's safe when she's with you." Tails stated, chuckling a bit and putting his hands behind his back, tilting himself cutely while his tails swished behind him.

"Yeah, if I know you two, it's that you'll never let the other down. And you proved it today, right?" Knuckles stated, gesturing his hands out to the two of them.

"You're there for each other. And together, there's just no way anything can possibly go wrong!" Tails spoke up again, as the camera turned to show Amy and Sonic looking to him, blinking their eyes before looking to each other, and then away.

Amy smiled and looked down, having her hands behind her back too as she was blushing at the fact Sonic would be worried about her.

Sonic looked away and folded his arms again, looking up and seeming to hold back any indication that he had felt something then.

"So? On to the after party?" Tails teased, as Knuckles laughed.

"Yeah, or do you two need a moment to 'hug it out'?" he teased.

"Oh?" Amy looked to Knuckles and put her hand over her mouth cutely, looking to Sonic as he flinched and glared at Knuckles, before composing himself and walking on towards them.

"Wha? Oh..! we're fine!" he stated bluntly, and still a bit mad at the teasing, but walking it off as he continued on. "Let's go, Amy."

Amy smiled, not able to stay mad at Sonic just worrying about her, as she was actually really happy he had thought about her so much. "Coming! Hehe~" she chimed, and raced after the three boys.
