Shadow's eyes widened, as he moves one hand from his folded arms and lightly tests his nose, poking it before Vanellope laughs, jumps up, and makes it go 'Boinn-nnn-nng' and wiggle like a door-stopper.
"Eh..!" Shadow would be started but also greatly upset as she would laugh and roll on the ground, pointing to him.
"HAHAHA! Stiff as a lollipop's stem! hahaha!"

Headcanon for Shadow!
(it's so sad this isn't real….)
I believe Shadow is one of the 'government agents' that Sticks was talking about. I think he works a bit for the bad side… (Again) and I think he may be partnered up with Rouge. (if she comes in, which I think she will)
Shadow is a 'get it done' kinda guy who fights with Sonic constantly over leadership things and also tries to get him to stop interfering with his 'mission'.
I think Shadow may join the good side later on, but for now, I think he's gonna be one of the 'henchmen' kinda fellas who does the dirty work and 'secret' missions for, most likely, Eggman or someone else.
I have a feeling the show runners will still somehow include his backstory of Maria somehow, and that Shadow is still looking for who he is, and what his real purpose in being created was. (Who knows, maybe Amy will still be the trigger that pulls him to the good side?) Either way, he'll still be dark and foreboding, but a really COOL kinda character XD as he should be.
If he does join the good side with Sonic and the team, I have a feeling Sonic and him would butt-heads a lot over leadership things (like I mentioned before) where Shadow would want to direct the team and Sonic would get mad at him for taking charge. I also think Knuckles may have an issue with his 'laid back' or 'I don't care about you' attitude, making him want to just hit him sometimes. Amy would feel like the 'nurturer' and want to help him with his emotions on things like Maria and his creation, but he wouldn't really heed her unless she said something that sparked his interest. Amy would continually try and be close to him, but Shadow would be indifferent to her 'friendly' approach of wanting to be friends. Tails would want to learn more about Shadow, and he would also ignore him, unless he felt Tails could help with the 'science side' of why he might of been created, or how that was done.
Either or, I can't be very 'correct' or 'accurate' with these statements because I'm not sure how Boom!Shadow will be portrayed or what they will have done to 'single him out' from his Canon-self. This is all just guessing till I have more details to put together a more concise theory.
