Aw, thanks deary! I love Sonic and Tails. They're literally the best of friends, having so much fun together~ They're not even aware, they're such a funny pair~ They're the best of friends! (Fox and the Hound reference)
haha, but seriously, that brotp tho. I love how the kid brother is a genius and the older one is a smart-alek and rushing into things too quickly. It makes for a very great pair of dudes, and I love them in every game!
(lol! I really love this pic, they're just crashed out from another adventure and chill-laxing with one another, snoozing out. Tails is so cute, omg!)
"Sonic! Look out!" Tails dives in, as Sonic sees the laser blast coming at him and spins up, uncurling to reach out and grab Tails's hand, as Tails flies him off to safety in the skies above.
"Thanks, buddy! I owe you one." Sonic states, and looks back down, seeing the forest half way destroyed, and Knuckles and Amy trying to round up the Flickies and other little creatures to safety as Eggman's robot seems to be going on a rampage, and Eggman can't get it under control.
"No, no, NO! Attack Sonic, you bag of walking scrap heaps! Grrahh! What could of gone wrong!?" Eggman's eggpod hovered overhead, as Cubot and Orbot were to his sides, looking down.
"My, we're certainly leveling this forest down to nothing but wasteland." Orbot states, as Cubot seems to be shaking, biting his nails, or just simulating such, as he really only had metal hands…
"I thought we were suppose to smash Sonic to smithereens! Not the whole forest! I pick the best berries here for your blueberry pies!"
Eggman suddenly looks forward in surprise, and turns to Cubot in alarm. "Wait… YOU GET THOSE HERE?! NOO-HOO-HOO!" he reels back, holding his head with his hands in his anguish at his mistake. "WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME THAT SOONER, YOU IDIOT!?"
While Eggman strangled Cubot close by, Sonic shook his head at seeing his actions, and lifted an arm up in a shrug. "That Eggman… he'll never learn."
Tails rolled his eyes, "I'm finding it hard to believe he ever could!"
"Haha!" Sonic swung a little, kicking his legs up and holding his stomach, before looking up to Tails. "Alright, Tails. This is it! Let's really drive this lesson home!"
"Hey, I'm always up for a little lecture!" Tails happily flies back to the robot, holding Sonic's hand with both hands, he swings him around to give him momentum.
"No-ow-ow-ow?" Sonic asks, while being flung around, as the Robot turns it's mighty head like an owl, to look at the movement behind him as he crouches over the forest below, blowing fire out one arm and chopping trees down with his other.
"No-ot-ot-ot ye-et-et..!" Tails responds, as the robot cries out a metallic sound and turns around, flexing his arms out to the side threateningly as his attention is now squarely on the two.
"Now!" Tails releases Sonic, as a streak of blue tares through the sky, and Sonic spin dashes at the last moment through the Robot's chest.
The robot's knocked back slightly, as Sonic seems like a fast moving saw that finally starts to dent the armor, before Tails moves back a bit, kicking his legs, and dives forward.
Dodging the scissor hand and then the flame torch arm as they swing at him, he kicks Sonic's body harder into the robot, which shots Sonic straight in.
On the outside, the Robot starts to fidget and twitch in weird positions, as you can hear Sonic spinning around inside the robot, tearing through wires and gears, as Sonic finally blasts out from the top of his head, spreading himself out as the robot begins to explode.
"Soooonicc!" Tails tries to grab Sonic but is blasted away! spinning backwards as he begins to fall too.
"Ah! Taiiiils!" Sonic cries out, realizing his 'ride' to the ground isn't an option anymore.
As the two are being flung by the blast and separated, flailing in spinning chaos in the air, Tails finally pushes his glove back to reveal a wrist watch, that he clicks instantly.
Sonic is seen flying out in the distance, before being swooped up by the X-Tornado. "W-woah!" Sonic grabs the wing with one hand, and gets tossed around a bit by how fast it's maneuvering itself through the blast.
Finally getting a sturdy hold on it, Sonic looks determined and serious as he moves to the cockpit, seeing the screen flash, "AUTO-PILOT'. He takes control of the wheel as the screen then blinks, "MANUAL OVERRIDE' and shows Sonic a tracker screen where a little yellow dot resides. "Hang on, Tails!" Sonic pilots the X-Tornado, whipping it around and through the air at lightning speeds as he kicks something down below him, and rams his foot down.
The boosters kick in as Tails is about to fall into a canyon, and rocks and other such debris are over his head from the blast, so there's no way of flying through that wall of maddness!
The X-Tornado blazes through the debris, and all is slow motion as Sonic reaches a hand out to Tails, who is in front and above him as he's flying down, and smiles.
Tails, who was crying out a moment ago, smiles back and grabs his hand.
Everything speeds up as they dive towards the canyon, as Sonic seems to be having difficulty maneuvering the plane through all the winding paths of the canyon. One wrong turn, and another explosion is about to be had!
"Don't worry! I got this!" Tails moves Sonic as he jumps back, bending down and holding onto the back of the cockpit as Tails sits, and masterfully gets them out of the canyon without a scratch.
Eggman pulls at his mustache in frustration and then let's it whiplash back into place. "DARN THOSE TWO BRATS! No matter what I do, they always prevail!"
"Aw, best friends." Orbot puts his hands together and up to his face, as Cubot touches his chest as if he's touched.
"Such a powerful duo. It's like nothing can come between them."
"…Why are you siding with them!?" Eggman looks at his robots in confusion, before whacking their heads down and against the outer ring of the eggpod. "Remember whose side you're both on!"
As Cubot and Orbot have their eyes swirling around, and their bodies wobbling a bit from the hard impact done on their heads, Eggman retreats as Sonic and Tails are shown flying ahead, Tails looking determined and focus, as Sonic looks down and ruffles his head.
"H-hey..!" Tails looks up, a big grin on his face as he looks back to Sonic, and the two laugh.
"Great job, Tails. I couldn't have done it without ya." Sonic winks and gives him a thumbs up.
"Heh, I know." Tails looks forward and closes his eyes, bouncing his shoulders in a bit of pride for a moment as Sonic looks to him a bit confused, scratching his head. "Haha, I'm kidding. Just glad to be of assistance, Sonic!" Tails winks back to him and the two fly off to meet the others below…
(AHHHH the bromance, lol! XD but in all honesty, they are literally the best of friends. what more can I say? haha)

maybe... Boom not sonamy: tails - trying to "prove himself" (maybe he was being baby-ed a bit before) - gets himself trapped in an unfriendly tribe, who plan on keeping him prisoner. Knuckles realizes he's in trouble but goes to find him alone, as he knows tails would be embarassed or something. Anyways, tails is all sad 'cuz he failed and knuckles sort of clumsily cheers him up like "you don't have to be something you're not to be great... you're great um now." and idk it was cute in my head

Okay! So some Knuckles and Tails bonding? No problem! :D However, I already had Sticks being kidnapped by a tribe… But I can always have more than one tribe, right? :D (It's a big place?! Right!? lol)

Tails gets a bit grumpy and starts sassing the team, before finally snapping and leaving for what seems to be good. Worried about him, the team goes off to find him.
Tails desperately wants to prove himself, but also see if the team even want him around anymore. Convinced they aren't following him, he sorrowfully flies his plane to find a new place to set up a small workshop or something to settle down in. He ends up being attacked by some tribe, who have been having problems with Eggman, and so anything metal, loud, and holding guns aren't exactly going to be taken lightly by them.
Tails is considered 'The Egg Monster' and thrown into their jail to then be executed. Knuckles ends up finding his plane, seeing as the tribal men are holding it 'hostage' and making sure Eggman, who they believe is Tails cause they never actually saw him, only heard of him, doesn't get to it and escape.
Knuckles sneaks in and accidentally sounds the alarm. Knowing Tails wants to prove himself, he decides to not summon back up, and not cause anymore disappointment to Tails.
Tails leaves, but refuses to come back to the team, as the tribe still are coming after him.
"Just leave me, Knuckles! Or they'll think your with me." Tails tries to push Knuckles away, as Knuckles stands his ground, glaring down at the fox boy.
"I AM with you! We're a team. All four of us! Now, you can mope all you want back at the hub, but right now? I'm helping you fight and get the heck out here!" he pounds his fist together, as Tails looks back at him, touched by his words.
"..You mean that?"
"Sure do! When do I never mean what I say?"
'B-but… I'm just a nuisance.."
"Sonic's the nuisance. You're tolerable."
Tails looks up at him unamused.
"Haha! Alright, look. BOTH of you are still essential to the team! And we've been looking for you everywhere!" Knuckles spreads his arms out, exaggerating how far they've looked with his arms.
They hear some tribe members in the distance, and look up, a bit afraid, before turning back to each other.
"I'm not leaving here without you!" Knuckles pointed to Tails, doing a shouted whisper to convey how he felt. "And I know Amy and Sonic would do the same."
"..Knuckles.." Tails feels a little teary eyed as he's touched by his words, and quickly shakes his head and wipes his eyes with his arm, looking determined now. "I've got a plan!"
"You always do, buddy!"
"Ya-ha!" Tails jumps up and the two high five each other.
Using their skill sets and Tails's brain with Knuckles's brawn, they out trick the tribe and get to the plane, taking off as Knuckles calls the rest of the team on his communicator.
"Blue Leader, this is Red Head. I've successfully brought Yellow Sky, whose.." he looked to Tails a moment, seeing his head down, ashamed of what he must of put the team through. "…Single-handedly fought off an entire tribe! They seem to think he was working with Eggman, I'd say he's causing trouble around here, and we should look into it, over!"
Tails perked his head up and looked back to Knuckles, smiling. "Why would you say that?"
"Eh, they don't need to know." Knuckles put his hands behind his head, leaning back in the plane. "Besides, I was just doing what you told me to do. It really was all you, kid." he leaned forward and ruffled Tails's hair, making him laugh.
"..Thanks." he grinned.
"No problem. Anything for a brother!" he teased, and winked in a sign of friendship and trust.
