Sonic prompt engaged- processing details now
Sonic rolled back from the previous hit, before landing and sliding perfectly on his feet, charging at an arch around the giant robot.
"Up top!"
"Let me at'em!"
Sonic jumped and grabbed Amy, who had concealed herself in a tree and leaped down to have Sonic spin and throw her up behind the robot.
"Hyahhh!" She smashed it on the back, making it begin to fall forward, as everything went slow-motion while Sonic slid under, his feet angled just right on the ridges to keep him moving, and his hand sliding along the dewy grass to seem as though he was skating under.
When the robot crashed, Amy landed and waited with a smile, putting a confident hand on her hip, not worried at all.
A little rustling of leafs and suddenly Sonic came flying out of the robot, tearing some wires with it.
He grinned as he came down, hand down and on one knee, before slowly rising up, and extending his hand to Amy.
Amy smiled and nodded to, about to give him her hand before…
Another red laser zipped by the gap between their hands, and they flinched away.
Amy growled slightly, looking over at it. "When do they ever learn?"
"Well, when you're created by an old man who never learns his mistakes, it's kinda hard NOT to take after that kind of example." Sonic kid, gesturing to them, "Care to do the honors?" He bowed to her slightly, just playing.
Amy beamed, and then charged as she started to gracefully, but aggressively, wham into each robot marching forward.
"Amy!" After a while of battling, Sonic thought it was about time to end this.
He dashed across the heads of Robots in his curled up, ball form, and then spin dashed through one coming up behind Amy to strike, saving her briefly.
"Here! Don't miss this time!" Sonic extended his hand.
"M-miss?" Amy realized he meant to take his hand properly this time, and she smiled and puffed up a little of her cheek, pretending to be offended as she raised her head up and closed her eyes, "Hmph! It wasn't my fau-llltt!" he spun her around, and she grinned wildly as the tornado picked up around them, the robots stepping back a moment.
"Now!" Sonic flung her once more and she ripped through the ranks, and Sonic took care of the speedy clean up of what was left.
After the swirling wind around Amy ceased, she landed with her arms crossed over her chest, the hammer having swung it's mark, and the robots up in the air that she had struck, all exploding, except for some that kept firing.
Sonic smirked, jumping up and spinning in mid-air a moment, before homing attacking all the stranglers.
Amy placed her hammer up on her shoulder and looked over her shoulder to Sonic, "What a great run, huh?"
She started to walk, as he homing attacked down and then walked happily next to her, acting like it was just a casual walk. "Oh yeah! Beautiful day for it, too!"
She giggled, as he gestured his hand up, and then she took it again, making him slightly surprised by the action, but not fight it off.
They walked off, holding hands, as Sonic scratched the back of his head awkwardly. Though, it didn't seem he disapproved of it much…
"GRRR BLAST THOSE HEDGEHOGS!" Eggman slammed his hands down on his control board.
"They certainly make a lovely pair." Orbot and Cubot held hands and swooned, dipping their heads in towards each others.
"Aww… Such a brutal power force." Cubot sighed out.
"The very essence of love~"
"Ohhh,… SHUT UP!" Eggman shook his fists as he kept slamming them down, they twitched at the raw strength and pain that seared through them.
He then twitched a brow, sweating on his head, before lowering his head down and crying little streams of tears. "I'll never beat them at this rate… the more they grow closer, the quicker my plans get defeated. It's like he's not even TRYING to keep the fun up!" he gestured to his monitors, speaking of Sonic.
"Hmm… maybe he wants more time with some 'other' fun." Orbot snickered, as Cubot placed a hand up to hover near his mouth, snickering too.
"I won't allow it!" Dr. Eggman started typing words in.
"If I'm not the most important thing in his life.."
The monitor showed a target locked on Amy's back, as she turns to cutely smile to Sonic.
"Then no one will be…"

A lone robot raised his arm up from the rubble of leaves, up-heaved dirt, and robot scrap-parts.
Sonic and Amy turned around.
The laser went straight for Amy, as Eggman laughed hysterically, before hearing Sonic cry out her name. "Hmm?"
Sonic stepped quickly in front of her, and held up his Enerbeam, spinning it quickly to where it made a swirling shield.
He then leaped and spun in air, landing with a strong downward kick at the robot.
The robot's head exploded and his arm and torso fell down.
Sonic wiped his hands and huffed, before turning around and seeing Amy rush into his arms, leaving him slightly confused and paralyzed by the action for a second.
"Sonic! That was… incredible! I didn't think that would end well for me, but then I was worried about you! And then you turned into some cowboy lassoing the laser away and I just-" she seemed kinda shaken, but deeply grateful, before blinking and realizing how close she was to him.
She quickly leaned up and rubbed her quills down, "Haha…I-I mean… ehem. Thank you." she looked away, putting her hands behind her and down, the other slowly going to grip her arm, holding herself steady.
Sonic smiled, "Anytime, Ames." he walked up to her and gestured as he passed, "I don't mind playing your hero every now and then."
She blushed slightly, before smiling and seeing he didn't think any less of her by stepping in.
It comforted her, and she regained her confidence as a warrior, and continued to race after him. "H-hey! Wait up, My hero~" she teased, making Sonic twitched and turn around, bending his knees and arms slightly.
"Ack!… mmmm… you know, I wouldn't mind if you actually meant it for once." he muttered under his breath, and as she walked up to give him a cheeky grin, he just shook his head, making a face.
The two ran off, as Eggman continued to destroy his control room in a tantrum. "NO NO NO NO NO!"
"Doctor! Control yourself! Eggman!" Orbot tried to stop him from flailing in his chair and smashings around him.
"It's not fair, it's not fair, IT'S NOT FAIR! SONIC'S MY MORTAL ENEMY! He doesn't need anyone else but ME-E-E-E!"
Cubot cried out as he circled, his arms up in fright, as he tried to dodge the falling objects that Eggman's flailing had caused to fly off or get smashed away.
