Chapter Five
On board the Seaview.
Captain Lee Crane was called to the radio shack by Sparks having received a coded message in translation to the Kremlin. Sparks was able to break down the first part of the code.
"Are you sure, Sparks?" Lee says in a low-key tone of voice.
"Yes, Captain I am sure about the code. It mentioned taking six of the London Science team inside the diving bell." Sparks had said looking somewhat glum for the moment. There was much more to the rest of the coded message to the Kremlin.
Lee was able to see his expression. "What else is going on Sparks with the message?" he asked calmly not knowing where was the location of Admiral Nelson.
"Sir, the Captain of the Siberian Tiger a Russian submarine has them and asked on whether they should continue with the torture of the six taken from the diving bell.
"Jesus h. Christ! I just can't believe that the Russian government will retort to cruel treatment during these tense times." Lee cried out his emotion overflowing.
"Sir, the Siberian Tiger is waiting for an answer from the Kremlin secret service on what exactly they should do at this time." Sparks remarked pulling out his earplugs.
"Sparks see whether you're able to decode the rest of the message to the Kremlin?" Captain Crane said. "I need to speak with Admiral Nelson about the latest information."
"Understood, Captain." Sparks watched the walk away feeling slightly dejected at the moment. While Sparks went back to his work with the decoding of the message.
He continued working while Lee Crane went looking for Admiral Nelson. He had a feeling that the Admiral just might be in his favorite place inside of the lab working on his projects.
After a few minutes, Crane arrived at the lab passing a number of the personnel heading for their shifts and breaks. He knocked before hearing the voice of Admiral Nelson.
Nelson was standing in front of one of the large fish tanks filled with eels. "What is it, Lee?" Nelson asked turning around to face his captain and long-time friend.
"Sir, I have bad news from Sparks," he tells the admiral.
"I am waiting to hear the news since the London Science Team as it was supposed to be an easy dive to the bottom of the ocean," Nelson said to the Captain moving in closer to the tank. "It seems that a Russian submarine called the Siberian Tiger has abducted the science team onto the sub. Only to be treated like slaves and other treatments like being whipped and sexually abused." Lee responded with a single tear falling down his cheek.
"God damn it, Lee, I just can't believe it at all that the Russians would restore to action like that?" he remarked trying to stay calm the best he could.
"Admiral, Sparks is working on right now with decoding the rest of the message. He will be calling as soon as possible on what the rest of the code is supposed to be. By the way sir, what about the flying sub with Sharkey and Kowalski?" Lee asked with a serious facial expression.
"I haven't heard from them in two hours. Sparks is going to try again in a few moments I believe. I just hope to god Lee that the Flying sub didn't tangle with the Russian sub?" he cried out for the most part.

FLYING SUB
Chief Sharkey and Kowalski didn't know what hit them with the flying sub now down on the bottom of the South Pacific molding. Sharkey was coming to with needing to check on Kowalski bent over his seat as the oxygen levels were lower than normal.
It seems they were hit by some sort of laser weapon coming from a submarine rising to the top of the waters. They were caught from behind as their readings showed nothing on the radar and sonar screens in front of them.
"Kowalski, are you alright?" Sharkey screamed out at his friend slowly coming around. He had been trying to catch his breath from the smoke inside the flying sub.
Taking a moment to figure out what has happened to the both of them. "I seem to be fine Sharkey. But what happened to us?" he barked out in his response. Trying to move up from the chair after letting go of the safety belt around his waist.
"I have a feeling Kowalski, we were hit with a laser beam and I think it was a submarine from the surface," he tells him as Kowalski decides to check for the damage inside of the flying.
"I need to check the radio on whether or not the radio is still working at all." Sharkey moved slowly as his right leg started to hurt him somewhat. However, he decided not to pay attention until he was able to check the radio.
But as it turned out the radio wasn't working. The only good news was the fact that the air and oxygen were working and they had enough of it for the next four days. Hopefully, the Seaview will be able to find them along with the London's Science team inside of the diving bell.
After an hour it was Kowalski's idea to place on his swimsuit the special mixed oxygen given to them by Admiral Nelson and the lab continued making it better for divers. However, Admiral and the Institute decided to drop the GIL program. Only Kowalski's brother Stanley continues to use them during all of his deep dives for the Navy. He's now located in Japan somewhere.
"What are you trying to prove Kowalski by going outside of the flying sub?" Sharkey asked within his desperate mode at this point.
Finishing with the last of his swimming suit Kowaslki will say of the following with testing his mask and oxygen as well. " I need to explore on whether there are any deep underground caverns around. Maybe Sharkey, we will be able to survive this way.
"Try not to take too long Kowalski. Hopefully, I will be able to figure out another way to get out of here," he remarked while watching Kowalski get ready to move into the next compartment. "GOOD LUCK!" Sharkey cried out with his response watching Kowalski leave the flying sub.
