Tuesday,
Cordelia was taking care of her animal patients in the vet and got ready to sign out from her shift "good work today boss, but I hope you are getting enough sleep you don't give yourself any breaks" one of her coworkers said
Cordelia narrowed her eye's at the coworker "While I do appreciate your concern, it is none of your business with what I do with my time, do not go sticking your nose where it doesn't belong...do I make myself clear Mr Orkney" Cordelia said
"Y.yes miss Rosehearts" The janitor said as he lowered his head in shame as Cordelia sighed and walked away rubbing her brows tiredly 'I need a drink' she thought to herself as she left the veterinary hospital
Cordelia went to a nearby vending machine and pulled out a coin putting it in the coin slot and picking strawberry milk tea, it dropped into the exit slot and someone else grabbed it to hand to her
Cordelia recognized him as Alfred one of her soulmates she met at the beach "can I help you" Cordelia said with a raised eyebrow "well dudette I was wondering if you wouldn't mind going on our date now?" Alfred said
"Now, why?" Cordelia asked in confusion "I just wanted to take you to a movie that's all, it starts today" Alfred said with a pleading look "you already bought tickets didn't you" Cordelia said sweatdropping
"Yeah?! How'd you know dudette?" Alfred said making Cordelia sweatdrop at his honest yet childish answer "to be honest I figured that was the case, you just seemed to be that type of person" Cordelia said
"Oh well..." Cordelia said as she thought about her options 'I guess since he's here I could go with him, it wouldn't hurt to humor him I suppose' Cordelia thought to herself "which movie did you pick?" Cordelia asked
"Superman...well if you don't mind of course" Alfred said as he rubbed the back of his neck seemingly nervous 'why's he suddenly getting nervous?' Cordelia thought to herself as they walk to the movie theater
At the end of the movie Cordelia kissed his lips making him blush and smile like a big goofball because of it
In the theater watching the movie...
Cordelia was sitting next to Alfred who for some reason kept glancing at her while watching the movie which didn't go unnoticed by Cordelia of course
Cordelia grabbed his hand "Clockwork" she used her unique spell to stop time for a bit "why are you nervous" she said making him look at her and clear his throat
"To be honest your one girl I genuinely like and the fact that me and the others are your soulmates...well are we enough for you" Alfred said sounding somewhat scared
Cordelia facepalms at this "this is what your worried about goodness gracious" Cordelia said amused "I guess I can ease your mind a bit I'll tell you a secret...but keep it a secret until I say so ok" Cordelia said
Alfred gulped and nodded she leaned in to whisper in his ear "I'm actually a goddess mage hybrid" she whispered making Alfred gasp slightly he looked at her in the eye
"I swear I won't tell anyone until you say it first" Alfred said happy that she would tell him one of her biggest secrets and trust him not to say a word about it
Thursday,
Cordelia had gone drinking on Wednesday night and ended up with a hangover so Arthur went to find her Condo "where is Cordelia's place in this mess of a building for Pete's sake" Arthur said with a sigh
This was heard by Cordelia's sister Roxanne and Sebastián who were just coming to visit her "Excuse me" Roxanne said getting Arthur's attention "if your looking for Cordelia's condo we could show you the way" Roxanne said
Arthur could not help but sigh in relief "thank you so much" he said with gratitude he then noticed the Simularities between Roxanne and Cordelia "could you be? Cordelia's sister?" Arthur asked "twin actually, I'm Roxanne...but I go by Roxi" she said
Roxanne and Sebastián left after showing Arthur the condo Arthur entered the condo and saw Cordelia lying on her couch with a regretful look on her face "I regret my life" Cordelia said rubbing her brows tiredly
"Hello Love? Hope you don't mind if I make you some tea to calm your nerves" Arthur said with a bag of medicine and tea "go ahead" Cordelia said allowing him to use her kitchen
After Awhile...
Cordelia was sipping tea from a cup "I so needed that" Cordelia said with a sigh "So Love, I have some questions...do you mind answering them?" Arthur asked
"Sure" Cordelia said as Arthur cleared his throat "can you perhaps use magic..." Arthur asked as Cordelia took a sip of tea "yes" she said making Arthur gush "I can't believe I've found a mage finally" he said excitedly
Cordelia sweatdropped at his excited tone "I have a unique spell called "Clockwork" it stops, reverses and forwards time if I choose it too" Cordelia said
"Please teach me your ways" Arthur said sitting on his knees and getting a kiss as well from Cordelia who pulled away to look at his star-struck face "sure" she said
