"Floyd, where are you taking me?" said Alyssa exasperated.

"Shhh...just be quiet goldfishie. Besides, you said this was my day so I intend to make it special," said Floyd.

Alyssa continued to let Floyd lead her, her ears and tail flicking this way and that. She had dressed extra special since Floyd had planned out a proper date, just the two of them.

Floyd definitely appreciated it.

When he let her undo the blindfold, she was stunned at how beautiful the scenery was. Especially the little picnic blanket complete with a basket.

"Jade and the sea turtle helped me out," he said proudly. "You like it?"

Alyssa's smile was broad.

"I love it. I can't believe everyone expects Jade to be the romantic one of the two. You put more effort into the dates than he does."

Floyd grinned at that, pleased she had noticed.

Alyssa enjoyed the quiet, calm date with Floyd. As mercurial as his moods were, he could be quite the gallant knight when he put the mind to it.

Jade was the cunning, sneaky one who took her out on little adventures. Floyd was the romantic one that doted on her like a princess.

It was very nice and she enjoyed both of their company. It was a good thing she had made it clear she was open to sharing, because she didn't want to give up the attentions of either of them. And the twins enjoyed the fact she treated them as a package deal, while at the same time treating them as individuals with their own personalities.

Of course Floyd didn't hesitated to abuse the fact that the strawberries put Alyssa into the mood for some more...raunchy fun.

When she returned to the dorm, it was to find Cater waiting for her.

"Have fun, little sister?" he said cheerfully. Alyssa beamed at him.

Cater made sure to help clean up her appearance, as it wouldn't do for the dorm to know everything she had been up to. They might guess at it, but their strict Queen needed to show a presentable image at all times.

He took great pleasure in cuddling with her fox form, which was wrapped around his neck like a scarf.

"I got some new ribbons, if you want to try them out?" said Cater.

She let out an excited yipe. Who knew all those times his sisters made him braid their hair before a big event would come in handy now?

Alyssa was so glad she had come to Night Raven. It had been the best decision of her life.

Though she was going to have words with Che'nya considering the mess he created by trying to be nice.

~*~*~*~*

Alyssa was rather baffled by the panicked voices in the maze. And why almost everyone looked universally relieved upon seeing her.

"What's going on?" she asked.

"Oh thank the Seven," said Cater with open relief. "So you weren't chibified."

"Say what now?"

Cater moved to the side to reveal...a very angry toddler, who bore a strong resemblance to her male form.

"He fell through the mirror about two hours ago, and we all assumed potion accident," explained Trey.

"I was in an emergency housewarden meeting. Something breached the wards...and now I think I know what it was."

Alyssa walked up to the child, who looked rather bewildered upon seeing her.

His scent read as human, and something told her this child was an alternate version of herself. It took very little time to have the kid in her lap, with her tail wrapped around him while he ate some mini strawberry tarts Trey had made.

"Too freaking cute," said Cater, snapping a picture. The kid was already covered in strawberry juice, as Trey had been using a new recipe and it had turned out a bit too loose for his liking.

"So what are we going to do about this?"

"Pretty sure he's an alternate version of me. Why he's stuck as a child I don't know, but he's still a member of our dorm," said Alyssa. "So long as he follows the Queen's rules, he can stay."

The child in her arms squirmed, mostly so he could look up at her. She hugged him a bit tighter.

Crowley predictably agreed to the arrangement because it involved next to no input on his part, and the Heartsabyl dorm was more than willing to take it upon themselves to handle everything. And if there was no one to watch the 'child', Yukina had agreed to take care of him until the next watcher was free to do so.

One week later...

Alyssa was only mildly surprised when the 'child' in her arms turned into a seventeen year old.

Riddle looked incredibly embarrassed, but since he was about the same size as her male side, it was easy enough to get him a change of clothes.

Either way, he found himself sitting calmly at a table with some tea and some food.

"So you're from an alternate NRC, and somehow landed here?" said Alyssa.

Riddle nodded slowly.

"What exactly happened?"

"I was heading to the main school and someone was heading through to the dorm with some poorly made potions. In the confusion Che'nya showed up and I somehow ended up in the maze," said Riddle exasperated.

Alyssa paused.

"Did Che'nya have an odd cloak or other cloth on him?" she asked slowly.

"Now that I think about it, I think he did. Why?" asked Riddle.

Alyssa let out an annoyed huff. Then took out her phone and sent a text. Within minutes, Che'nya arrived with his toy.

"What's up, Alyssa-hime?"

"Che'nya...did you abduct an alternate of myself?!" said Alyssa.

Che'nya flinched.

"Maybe? The poor kid was beyond stressed out and looked like he was recovering from another one of those stupid fad diets that bitch put you on," said Che'nya.

That made her annoyance fade.

"Oh. That's different then."

Riddle looked utterly confused.

"How did he kidnap me in the first place?"

"Che'nya-nii was given an artifact that allows for spacial teleportation with almost no magic required...and when combined with his signature spell, well..."

"That still doesn't explain why he kidnapped me," said Riddle annoyed.

"I remember the damage those fad diets did to your alternate here," said Che'nya patiently. "And from the look of things, it was early enough in the year that the freshman haven't had a chance to memorize the rules. Plus they were clearly setting up for an Unbirthday Party, which means your stress levels would be dangerously high."

Riddle stared at him.

"I brought you here to recover and give your mental health a much needed break. Besides, I knew Alyssa-hime would get a kick out of it," said Che'nya shrugging. "Your spell pen was dangerously dark when I swiped you."

"I still can't believe that my alternate is a female, or that they let her attend," said Riddle.

"Technically I wasn't female when I enrolled," she stated. "Kitsune are gender fluid by nature. I only started letting my actual gender out because I realized I wasn't going to be punished for it."

"Alyssa-hime is our Queen after all," chirped Cater.

Riddle looked very confused, the poor thing. Which was only made worse when his alternate switched genders right in front of him, though he kept the ears and tail.

"In any case we really need to return you to your own alternate once your metabolism stabilizes from those stupid fad diets that thing insisted on."

Riddle looked utterly bewildered by this.

"What?"

"Well there's no way I can return you back to your dorm when your mood is only going to get worse from being unable to eat properly, much less the stress of the first Unbirthday Party, when the freshmen are too new to know the Rules," said Alyssa simply.

Riddle still looked confused, but since they were his best chance at getting home, he complied. It was weird, being doted on and seeing most of the dorm following the rules without him having to threaten them once.

"How did you get the dorm to comply with the rules?" asked Riddle. "I always have to threaten mine."

Cater and Trey winced in unison.

"Partially it has to do with Alyssa's absurd charisma," said Cater slowly.

"What's the other reason?" asked Riddle.

Trey had trouble looking him in the eyes.

"After a near Overblot, it got out the reason why she was so rule-obsessed. Most of the dorm was incredibly understanding once they found out about the abuse, and she did make an honest apology for the bad days. It doesn't hurt that her 'mother' was arrested soon after for child abuse, neglect, kidnapping, and use of restricted artifacts on a minor," said Trey quietly.

Riddle paled.

"What?" he said in horrified shock.

"Most of the dorm had no idea you were being abused, and they became way more understanding about why you were so uptight about them when they found out that following them was the only real outlet that bitch let you have growing up."

Mostly it was the charisma though.

It took about two weeks before they were willing to return him to his own alternate, and Cater agreed to stay behind this time since he had gone to the tournament. He was considered an extension of their Queen, so it was all good.

Besides, he was eager to share recipes with his alternate.

~*~*~*~*~

Riddle took one look at the sheer chaos and was about to explode. Alyssa put her hand on his shoulder and shook her head. Reluctantly he sat back and let her handle it.

Alyssa took a deep breath, and immediately Trey and Che'nya covered their ears. Riddle was quick to follow and watch the show.

The sheer volume of her piercing whistle had everyone who wasn't prepared for it flinching from the sound.

"Holy hell, that was loud," complained someone...only to stare when he realized their housewarden was back.

"This...is unacceptable," said Alyssa, her ears twitching irate. Riddle was hiding slightly behind his two taller friends, mostly to watch the show.

"Riddle! Thank the..." started Alter!Trey, before he registered the ears and breasts. "...What sort of potion did you get hit with?"

"Trey, explain this mess," she said imperiously.

"What's there to explain?" said Ace loudly. Alyssa's nose flared at the sheer disrespect. "You disappeared before an Unbirthday party after demanding I make a replacement tart."

Alyssa paused, then did some mental calculations in her head and her expression became downright incredulous.

She turned to Che'nya with the oddest look on her face.

"Che'nya-nii, did you kidnap my alternate and accidentally prevent his Overblot?"

"I think so, if this is the same event that you nearly snapped," said Che'nya.

"Whoa...two Trey?" said Cater, registering what was going on. Though he was still relieved to see his Riddle step out from behind Che'nya.

Alyssa was not amused in the least.

"Before we sort this out, I have one question. Trey, was the tart Ace made a chestnut tart to replace one he ate out of the communal fridge?"

"Yeah, why?" said Trey.

"Rule number 562, One must never bring a chestnut tart to an Unbirthday party," deadpanned Alyssa. "If Ace doesn't want to be beheaded a second time, have him go to the school store or somewhere close to get a replacement tart. There's nothing in the rules that state the tart has to be handmade."

Alter!Trey blinked, mostly in surprise at how...calm...this version of Riddle was about the rules.

"Seriously?" said Ace.

Alyssa narrowed her eyes at him, and put her full royal aura on him.

"Now, Ace Trappola!" she hissed at him. Ace all but bolted.

Riddle stared at this, and then said rather seriously "You have to show me how you did that."

Alyssa had a sly smirk.

"I'm sure we could have a regular kidnapping question so I could teach you."

Alter!Trey had a pained look on his face. Alter!Cater however was watching the train wreck in action with glee.

Just the fact there was a female Riddle walking around was enough to have fun.
