Alright can you do a sonamy prompt on this meme: Sonic bleeding out, Amy, "Sonic quick what's your type!", Sonic finally letting his inhibitions go, "Pink quills, super sweet, jade green eyes", Amy is flustered but also worried about Sonic, "Your bloof type you idiot!", Sonic, "Oh *looks down* red." Amy: internally screaming. Later once he's recovered Amy asks him what he meant. Cue fluff

Prompt:
Sonic's head erupted from the once waving water in the lower cave, scrambling to get himself from sinking as he kicked his feet so fast it only made him fall more under.
He was panicking, unable to think straight like how Tails told him psychics of water doesn't apply to solid land, that the more 'space' he creates with fast moving feet, it will just vaccum him down with a whirlpool, which is why Sonic had a hard time learning how to swim. His instincts were that of land, and right now, he was only hurting himself more than thinking he could propel out of the water.
With each kick out his legs, the water split and pulled him under, and as he stopped using his legs to try his arms, he would burst from the water's surface and take a breath.
Amy, looking above the cave in a hole, gasped as her Miles-Electric showed that Sonic had turned on his distress signal from below.
"Sonic!" she cried out, looking at how far the jump was but tucking in her dress beneath her bum and swallowing down air to puff up her cheeks and jump!
She crashed into the water, hurting herself as it was a canonball, but quickly shook herself out of the shock that sprang like a rung metal gong.
With a static in her ears, she looked around through the dark water and saw the ripples of light splashing drops on the surface of the water. Was that her own splash? No, it was like rain...
She looked to the darkness and squinted her eyes, swimming over to what sounded like hurried grabbed and the being hit against her but she used her powerful legs-trained well to keep up with Sonic's speed the best she could-over to where from the hole, she had seen some rocky base.
She flopped the flailing being over that she assumed was Sonic, hearing him cough as confirmation that it was, and flipped her bangs out of her face to then crawl over and on top of him, holding a hand to her neck to keep her hair back from dangling and spraying drops of water all over him. "Sonic?! Hah... Hah... Sonic?" She heard the coughing dissipate and waited for him to catch his breath.
His eyes looked hazed over, breathing heavily as he was rolled onto his stomach by Amy, but turned over to cough more water out of his lungs. "Uhh..."
She looked to his shoulder, "Ah! You're bleeding! What happened, Sonic? Why are you down here!?"
She ripped the ends of her white-lining on her red dress to patch him up, stringing it around as he continued to try and see straight, but it was clear he was out of it.
"Sonic... Sonic, say something!" she lighlty patted the side of his face, "You have to keep breathing and coughing, okay?" He had gone quiet a moment, though his head was rocking back and forth, his eyes weren't focusing at all.
"...Pink..." he tried to say.
"What?" Amy moved her head back, looking around. "I'm pink, what of it?" she smiled, "Don't play with me right now, are you okay?"
"...Quills..."
"Y-yeah, and?" She didn't know what to make of this, but moved closer.
"Emm... spikey..." He flinched in pain.
"... Oh!" she realized just then, as with most drowning victims, they would push the lifeguard down in their mad scurry for air. In this case, when Sonic hit against her, she must have had him scratch his hands and maybe even his shoulder against her quills, causing the injuries. "Oh no, oh no, oh no..! I'm so sorry, Sonikku!" she burst out her own personal nickname for him as love and guilt gripped at her heart and blasted out from her eyes. "I didn't mean to hurt you, I was trying to save you!"
"... You... already... did..." he closed his eyes, "And... do." his head fell to the side, and she couldn't hear any more air going in... only out.
"No... Sonic? No, no, no!" she shook his body, "No, no, no, Sonic! Sonic, wake up! Breathe!" she patted his cheek more aggressively, trying to get him to move. She put her ear to his chest, the perfect beats of drums were now faint...
"Sonic!" she didn't even think, she just took both her hands to his cheeks and held him steady, pushing air into his lungs from her own...
After a moment, she tilted his head and moved from straddling him, swinging a leg over to his left, and immediately starting chest-compressions.
Her eyes were already watery from tears, but her whole body was soaked through from the strangely warm cave...
At the bottom of the lake... was that... Eggman's machine?
A Flicky, trapped in the machine and pounding on robot's clear chest. It had snapped out of it but fell through the ground, and Sonic... being Sonic, heroically didn't pause to think as he charged and reached out to the entrapped creature...
The robot got some of it's limps exploded off, causing the strange heat, as a Chaos Emerald now glowed by the Flicky's trapped, watery prison... luckily, no water was getting through to it, but air was running out... quickly.
It folded it's yellow wings in and panted, having seen Sonic get rescued... but no one coming back for them... it looked to the side where the Chaos Emerald lay... knowing Sonic was trying to use it to teleport them out, but wouldn't save himself when he realized the robot began to sink farther than he could hold his breath...
He dropped the Chaos Emerald in his struggle to get back to the surface...
The Flicky... losing faith and hope of ever being rescued... bent it's head, tucked its tiny birdie feet under itself, and closed its eyes...
While Sonic's chest was being pushed into, he finally expelled the last of the water and turned over, vomitting water a little before his eyes buldged a moment and he rubbed his head. "No... Not me... them..!" he pointed behind himself, and Amy just rubbed his back.
"What do you mean... them?" Amy looked behind her at the water. "... Is someone else... down there?" Her eyes widened as Sonic's form tried to get up, moving to dive back into the water. "No!" she pulled an arm back, "Sonic, you can't-!"
"I didn't care when you were down there!" he stated, knocking her off guard, "And I don't care now that they are!" he didn't even look back at her, and even though he had almost drowned, he swung his arm away from her and dived back into the water...
He had barely caught his breath... and the cave's one hole that they fell through, that one bit of light began to flicker with his body back in the beam... as the Flicky opened his eyes slowly to see the shadows, and looked up with tears in their eyes at the brave hero, selflessly trying again to reach him... even though the Flicky felt he couldn't make it.
Then, another figure dived in, and as Sonic's breath began dangerously low again, his mouth opening to cry out as his hand reached for the sunken robot with the Yellow Bird trapped inside it, his other hand gripping his throat... Amy swam beautifully passed him with a roll of her body, a dolphin-kick of her legs put together, and reached the Flicky.
She put a hand to the clear stomach container of the robot, seeing it inside, as it raised both wings up to the glass, looking to her as though finally gaining the faith again that it could be free.
She bent her eyes, realizing what Sonic had meant... When she was drowning... he didn't look back.
And now, with this little guy... he didn't care if he lived or not, only that he succeeded in saving someone less fortunate than himself...
She looked over to see the Chaos Emerald, and grabbing it, held it up and back. She gave the Flicky and flick of her own chin, to get out of the way and brace themselves.
The Flicky nodded in alarm and flapped back, realizing she was going to break the glass and it would be surrounded by the murkiness of the blue water soon.
It took a cute, bite-sized breath in to it's lungs and flapped it's wings, flying slightly as she began to bash on the glass.
She stopped after three attempts, looking up to see Sonic's body slowly turning and sinking slighlty... Oh no! He was out of air bubbles..!
She panicked then herself, she had been known to dive and hold her breath quite well, but the water was so deep, and the light wouldn't be there in an hour or so.
She took the Chaos Emerald in her hand and held it tight, tighter than her own Piko Piko Hammer, which she didn't have the strength left to summon, and it's large body wouldn't move as well as an arrowed Emerald's spike would...
Her Hammer was useless, her strength was failing her, but most importantly...
She couldn't let Sonic feel he failed.
She saw the cracks she had made and threw one last powerful jab of the Chaos Emerald's spikey bottom-half into the glass circle where the Flicky was encased.
The container burst and water flung the shards into the empty cavern of the Robot's hollow center, but Amy grabbed the Flicky with her other hand immediately, and swam with everything she could to use her head to push Sonic's body up towards the surface.
Sonic's head-this time-gently broke the water's surface as he looked knocked out, but slowly blinked his eyes and coughed lightly as his muzzle was turning a scary shade of blue a moment there.
"A... Amy...?" He looked down, "The Flicky?" He suddenly moved trying to float a second in his weariness as the yellow bird burst out of the water with the Chaos Emerald in hand, the green shining as he made his way through the beam, and positioned the emerald like a spotlight, showing Sonic as he squinted through the water that Amy was slowly sinking down... her headband flying off her head... and bobbing at the surface of the water... with the rest of her air bubbles popping along the top.
His eyes shook, "Amy!" he took hurried breaths before diving under the water again. The Flicky cried out to save her... if not itself, at least... please save her...
It's tears fell like rain through the one beam of light, the emerald's then smaller spotlight beam pointed at the two hedgehog heroes...
Sonic reached out a hand, and having her close enough to himself, unlike the fast sinking of the robot, he was able to grab her hand.
The good luck charm... floated out of Sonic's quills... and fell to the bottom of the deep abyss... as he remembered Amy's motions in the water, and put his legs together instead of keeping them apart, and rapidly kicked them as though one unified limp, and and rolled his body to at last-!
Burst from the water up and reaching for the Flicky's emerald, who had let it go after throwing it towards Sonic's hand...
A flash of green... and out from the hole the little Flicky flew, a happy smile as he twirled in the freedom of the blue sky!
Sonic and Amy landed on the grassy dirt of land, with Sonic over Amy and his hand still gripping her wrist... while Amy lay motionless...
He pulled himself up, his shoulders intermediately moving up before he could finally get his arms under himself and look at Amy. "Hah... Hah... Amy..."
His mind raced to the time she had almost drowned... and seeing the Flicky fly up by his shoulder, looking down at her as well...
"She'll be alright." Sonic wasn't sure, but gave a comforting smile to the Flicky anyway. "... This always works..." he suddenly did as he seemed to imply before... on that beach... when she gave him that good luck charm.
His lips gently pressed to hers, he tilted her neck back with one hand, and with the other, plugged her nose.
Amy only remembered a rush of warm air... then turning over and coughing up water as well as when Sonic did.
Just like on the beach before, she woke up resting by the Yellow Bird, who sqwuaked in joy at seeing her awake at last.
"S... Where's Sonic?" She weakly asked, turning her head to the bird.
The Flicky rose one wing up, and then bowed as though saying he took his magnificent exit as a hero.
She bent her eyes, "... Did he... save us?"
The Flicky danced from one foot to another, pointing to Amy then himself, then Amy and then far off as he looked with a turn of his head to the hills and valleys...
"R-right... I saved Sonic, who directed me to save you, and then you directed him to save me." she smiled, "That's our hero for ya..."
He shook his head enthuastically, showing her she missed a part.
He hopped over to her and pointed to her mouth, then opened his beak and pointed back to the hills and valleys.
"... AH!" she blinked her eyes before flinging her upper-body up and turning to be on her hands and knees, "He... He did what!?"
The Flicky mimed a beautiful scene... a man holding a woman in his wings-er, arms... and lowering his mouth gently before taking a deep breath and pushing air into her.
The Flicky then may have wiggled his tongue out to express that it was a pretty romantic scene, but then just laughed and shook his head like that didn't actually happen.
Because of that, Amy covered her mouth slighlty before thinking he was teasing her, and that Sonic didn't actually... like she did... did he?
She didn't know for certain, as Sonic was miles... and miles... away... having recruited Big to use his fishing pole at the same hole they had just escaped from.
"Dah, I don't think Fish are in there, Sonic..." Big put an innocent finger to his mouth, as Froggy ribbited in light bounces on Big's head.
"That's okay, Big." Sonic smirked, "Cause we're not after fish... Ah-ha!" he reeled up, "Got it!"
Big grew excited, his hands flexing in and out like a cat making biscuits before seeing the pink string of shells dangling as water slid off of it's cold self.
Sonic swung the line over to him and took the bracelet, "Heh, couldn't leave without saving you." he kissed the Good Luck Charm and put it back in the safety of his possession.
"Dahhhh, what's that there you got, Sonic?" Big used a bit of slang but Sonic just gave him a friendly wink.
"Never you mind that, old friend. Just a good luck charm a friend gave me for the water, that's all!" he waved, "Been with me ever since! And it works wonders, too!" he then patted Big's back and threw him back his fishingpole, which made Big almost totter into the hole as he tried to catch it, but luckily, Froggy bounced quickly and hard on his head to knock him back onto the solid ground away from the hole.
"Ohhhh~woooah~ThaaaAAAaaaanks Froggy~ I don't like being all wet in the water... Makes my fur smell like fish."
The end~
