Disney Medley Kingdom Hearts

I have a lot of KH feels, so we're going with the flow XD

THAWK, PAWK, CLAMK

"Give it all you got, Riku!"

Twawt-Twawt-Twawt!

"Woah! Look at Sora go!". "He's parrying them all!"

"Not all of them..." Riku smirked as he pulled his arm up to ready a swing, across his face as he muttered to himself with a narrowing of his eyes.

Sora was racing up to him, he had so many weak points... "Can't handle this!" Riku charged forward, almost as though flying through the air, whipping up sand behind him.

"Ah!" Sora had to pause, stumbling back, trying to get his sword up to block. His face showed everything Riku hoped for, giving him confidence to follow-through with the attack–He really wasn't expecting this!

"Sora!" Sora's fear suddenly broke from his face as Riku's speed seemed to slow, in fact... the whole of time seemed to reverb her voice across the surface of the island... "Don't hold back!" Her voice... Sora felt power begin to pour into his arm, veins becoming exposed as his muscles tightened... not for impact, but for a strike. "I believe in you!"

"Come on, Kairi. He's-!", "Look!" One of the kids was interrupted as the little girl pointed out to show Sora waited for Riku to swing, seeing his foot hit the sand.

"My turn!" Sora cried out, bending down to dodge the swing, squatting to then swing with all his torso's strength to have his arm guide the wooden sword to swipe at Riku's leg.

The sword hit, Riku's face looked disturbed and somewhat angry, "What!?" With the sudden imbalance, he got back his foot after a hard bank to the side of Sora, who took no time to follow-up by keeping the momentum of his swing and hitting Riku's back hard, forcing him to the ground.

"Sora... won?" A kid spoke, speechless.

"Sora!" Kairi, her hands bundled in a small jump of pride, raced over to the two boys, "You did it! You won!"

"I... won?" Sora looked at his wooden sword,... still intact, still as smooth as when him and Riku sanded them down and battled with them for years.

Riku shook his head, grains of sand dancing off his head in a wild flurry of sparkling lights. "It wasn't over yet." Riku grumbled, putting a hand to his back as he got up. "If it wasn't for Kairi distracting me... I could have seen that coming."

"Oh? It's my fault, is it? Riku? You're just a sore loser!" She put her hands to her hips, then laughed, "That was the first time you've lost to Sora, right?"

"Well... I didn't lose." Riku rolled back his shoulders, standing at his full height and putting a hand to his own hip, swinging his own wooden sword to the side, "I just like the peace and quiet when I'm dueling hard... that's all."

"Hear that?" Kairi turned as though to whisper softly to Sora, but it was clearly meant for Riku to hear as well, "He said he was battling at his finest! And you still got'im!"

"Wha? That's what you got out of all that?" Riku shook his head in disbelief, "You're just as bad as him."

She stuck her tongue out at him, "Let him have one!"

"One?" Riku tilted his head, smiling at her counter-play, seeing she just wanted Sora to feel good about himself. "One what? Strike on me?"

"Victory!" Kairi pouted, but Sora just scratched the back of his head.

"He's right, Kairi. I just got a good angle on him. I'll beat you next time, though." Sora smiled to Riku, playing peacemaker, but swinging his wooden sword around as though pumped for next time. "Just watch! Soon, you won't be able to see anything I throw at you! Let alone dodge it!"

"Oh? Is that so?" Riku held out his wooden Sword and, after seeing it, Sora grinned and clanked his wooden sword to it. Sora was using all his strength to push against him, but Riku only had to lean his body forward with one hand on his blade, pushing slightly forward to have Sora step back a couple of times, mimicking Hook and Peter Pan. "Maybe a grow an inch or two more... then I'll actually have a spar worth getting stronger for."

"Hey!" Sora cried out, now throwing mulitple-hits onto Riku's sword, advancing, "Who said I wasn't growing any taller!?"

Kairi, seeing the match was still very much on, sighed. "I thought this was the last match?" She sounded a bit disappointed, "Come on, you guys... We have a raft to plan for!" She waved a hand out in front of her, as though to remind them, but Riku and Sora were to absorbed in their rematch.

Riku leaned back to see that Sora had gotten him to the edge of the water, and grinned, getting excited as he was looking back at it. "Really driving me to the edge of the shoreline, Sora? That's a new feat for you as well!"

"What's wrong, Riku? Don't wanna get your pretty hair wet?" Sora mocked as Riku laughed, and grabbed Sora's shoulder, shocking him.

"You first." He tripped Sora with a counter-balance and walked back to the sand, his wooden sword up on his shoulders as he drapped his wrists over them, turning around to see Sora flailing in the water.

"PAh! Beh! Ugh... Grrr... RIKU!" Sora got up, dripping from head to toe, stomping a massive foot down and holding up a fist.

"Looks like I've still got it." Riku removed the wooden sword from his shoulders and gave it a light toss to spin in the air, showing his expertise with it, then caught it and gestured to Kairi, "Alright. Now that we've established your little stunt was a fluke of chance, let's get back to the raft." He began to walk towards her, as Sora's whole upper-body seemed to crank to the side, completely shocked by that analysis.

"WHA!? Riku! Hey! No fair! I got you fair and square!" He raced after him, but seeing he was running with so much vigor...

Riku smirked, turning to Kairi, "First one to the star gets to have Kairi cheering him on next time!" He immediately began to charge with a runner's scrape of his heel against the sand.

"What..?" Kairi looked a bit alarmed, but seeing he was meaning to run passed her, she suddenly double-taked in the direction of the back of the island's tunnel, and took off with her hands reaching in front of her, as though to stop herself from falling with how fast she decided to play along.

After all, she had a lead on the boys..!

"Huh? Riku? Kairi? Heh, I won't lose!" Sora, seeing the new challenge ahead, began to race as fast as he could towards the tunnel!

"~Oh, the power to be strong!~" Kairi began to sing.

"~And the wisdom to be wise...~" Riku looked behind him, singing lowly under his breath as a scheme was forming, creating a smirk across his face. He took his wooden sword and threw it at a tree.

It shook a moment as Riku caught the wooden sword like a boomerang flying in wild, spinning circles back to him, and a seagull egg fell to splatter all over a running Sora's face.

He was spitting out and whiping off his face as Riku continued, "~All these things will come to you in time~" he waved as though to bid Sora a happy losing streak.

Sora gritted his teeth, holding the Seagull's half-shell in his hand and tossing it to the side.

The other kids looked as though the sun was setting, and started to head to the boats... ready to depart for home.

~On this journey that you're making, there'll be answers that you seek...~

In the save, a mysterious, brown hooded figure watches from the angled, sharp shadows... he hides himself, moving back as though to remain unseen.

~And it's you who'll climb the mountain~

Sora was trying to get his body up over a treetop, but a hand reached down and he looked up to see Riku smiling with comradery, and with his own returning grin of gratitude, he kicked his feet below and took his hand, almost slipping. "Woah!"

Riku used both hands then to pull him up, as Riku patted his back and pointed, "She's almost to the star." he mentioned, showing Sora that Kairi was taking the 'staired' path. "We've got the shortcut." He winked to him.

~It's you who'll reach the peak!~

Sora beamed, "Yeah! Together!" He looked eager to go but Riku jumped to the next treetop, "Huh?"

"From now on, every man for himself!" he seemed to be laughing with his eyes, not willing to help Sora any more than he already has.

"Hey!" Sora growled and, although clumsily, kept trying to keep up.

"~Son of men, look to the sky!~" Kairi leaped a little from 'sand stair' to 'sand stair', being carefree as she held her arms out and looked up to the seagulls overhead. "~Lift your spirits! Set them free~"

"~Some day I'll walk tall with pride~" Jumping to the platform, Riku slowed down with a strutted stride, as though he could now take his time and show off.

"~Son of man, a MAN, in time you'll see!~" Sora jumped on Riku's head, bouncing off with a sort of rivalry spite that only showed he was willing to be given a hard time by Riku if it meant he could show him up!

"~Son of man~" Kairi slowed her racing, seeing Sora reaching out for the Star post. "~A man of all to see~" she skidded to a halt as a strong gust of wind suddenly propelled Sora even higher than the star.

"W-wo-woah!" Sora was launched a little 'too high' up into the sky... The Wooden Star Post also got shaken up though, flying upwards as Kairi cried out, seeing it snap from it's post off the ground and the wind suddenly push her to the earthy wall beside her. "Riku! What's going on? Soraaa!" she cried out as Sora had–undoubtly–grabbed the flying star in the air and was being tossed around like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz. He tried to swim like a frog, then race on air, then try and Superman it but seeing that nothing was getting him anywhere, he flapped his ears like Dumbo before crying out and getting caught up in a spontaneous tornado.

"What? It's not a hurricane, is it?" Riku stopped his advance, brancing himself near the tunnel, "Soraaa!" he cried out, "Use the Star! Grab something with it!" he tried to help him with some ideas.

"H-huh?" Sora looked at the Star post, and saw other things moving around in the air. Trees, mushrooms, more seagull eggs... but finally, he noticed some wooden planks in the air.

He nodded, gulping a bit before holding the star like a staff, grabbing a tree, and swinging around it, like a non-magical flow-motion effect!

Then, he jumped from wooden plank to wooden plank, before finally reaching the star out towards the raft. "Ahhh...!" he crashed into it, blasting it to smithereens, but he was out of the random tornado and back in the water...

He came up with his head swaying about, his eyes swirls before shaking it off. "W-woah... opps! S-sorry, guys!" he cried out as they raced down to the get him.

"Ah!" Kairi missed her footing, the wind bashing against her.

"Kairi!" Riku stopped his jumping along the Treetops to get to Sora again, and instead, dived for her.

"Ah! Kairi!" Sora cried out, trying to wade through the water as fast as he could, before looking at the Star Post and throwing it. "Riku!"

Riku looked and grabbed it, "Hyah!" he did a similar spin off a tree and grabbed to save Kairi with the Star post's aid.

"Phew..." Sora let his hands fall to his knees, now back at shore, before looking behind him and seeing the raft setting adrift in... tiny pieces... "Oh no... all that hard work..."

The mysterious, brown hooded figure slowly lurked back behind the wooden zipline tower... slowly disappearing back without being spotted...

The tornado, or strong winds died down...

"What was that? A mircoburst?" Riku knew thunderstorms were common... but he hadn't ever seen one that powerful before.

The skies began to clear... as Riku looked down in his arms, seeing Kairi's eyes closed and shaking.

She whimpered a little, as he looked up to see Sora racing towards her, his hands skimming the sand and dirt below him as though he would be willing to run on all fours if it meant getting to Kairi faster.

"Is she okay!?" He worried called out, and Riku just smiled, knowing his friend was literally kicking his heels up over his head... and looked back down at Kairi... knowing she was the reason.

"She looks fine, just scared... B-ah..!" Riku barely could get another word out to finish his sentence before Sora grabbed his elbows, looking Kairi up and down and then reaching for her.

"Kairi..? Kairi..!" his voice... it sounded so desperate.

Riku just watched, his mouth closing... seeing the concern written all over his face.

Kairi's eyes slowly blinked open, "Emm... Sora? Riku? ... that was scary..." she placed her hands up to her chest, breathing alright again, as though trying to catch her breath. "Thank you..." she looked at Riku.

He just shook his head, "Thank Sora, his quick thinking is what helped me get to you in time." He helped her down as Sora looked as though he wanted to hold her... but seeing Riku put her down, he backed up a little, but still had his arms out to catch her if she swayed too much on her own feet...

The action made Riku chuckle a second, raising an eyebrow as though wondering if Kairi would notice...

For now, he didn't think she did.

She gained her footing after a few short wobbles and patted the back of her head, "I... think I didn't get hurt. Thanks, Sora."

"Ah... haha, it wasn't all me this time!" Sora, blushing a bit, put his hands behind his head and leaning back as though trying to hide his over-concerned actions from before...

Riku saw right through him. "Well... The raft's gone. We'll have to start over from scratch." He walked passed his friend, his feet stopping at the water's edge...

"... Sorry, Riku... Kairi..." Sora... deflated a little, but Kairi shook her head.

"It was an accident. I'm just happy you're alright... We all are." She took her hand behind her back, looking to see Riku... "Don't you agree..? Riku?"

He lifted his head up from the ocean.

"~... What would I give... to live where they are...~"

"Huh?" The two seemed a bit confused by Riku's sudden singing voice.

"~... What would I pay... to be there, beside you? What would I do to see you... And where you're from?~" As Riku's voice got more passionate and open, Sora and Kairi were in a bit of awe, but smiled and walked up beside him on either side... his song to the worlds beyond them... where they all longed to go... touched their hearts as they wanted to join him in his love letter to the sea.

"~Where would we walk?~" Sora inquired, starting to sing too.

"~Where would we run?~" Kairi giggled, reminding them of their earlier race. "~If we couuuuuld~" She held a beautiful note, inviting the two boys with her eyes to join her, and sing as one.

The two smiled at her and both closed their eyes, facing the sea, "~Stay all day in their sun~"

"~Watch and you'll see!~" Sora spread out his arms, trying to sing higher, and doing alright with it.

"~Someday we'll beee!~" Kairi did hit the right note, now holding it to harmonize with the lower voices of the boys, though they were still young, so at least they were trying to keep up...

"~Part of thaaaat-~" Riku surprised them all, his voice maturing all of a sudden.

Then, "Altogether!" Sora encouraged, forming a fist and a huge, heartwarming smile to Riku, as though this time, no funny tricks.

Riku nodded, and looked to Kairi who beamed with a small, excited giggle up towards him.

They all stepped forward to let the waves flow and rush over their feet.

"~Wooorrlllllddddd~" The boys were really trying to hold the note... but after a minute, Riku stopped and wiped his mouth, stepping back. Sora was lowering his head further and further down... his feet spreading apart... but he just..! He couldn't hold out his breath any longer!

He took a big gasp and fell backwards, shaking his head before being awestruck by Kairi.

Riku just moved back as she heard the others falter off and began to rift the lyrics, "~Part of your wor-ah-ah-orld-llllld!~" She gave a great broadway range performance with her vocal talent before letting it drift off and brought her arms down from their theatrical stardom. She stepped back and breathed hard with a smile that both Riku and Sora knew wouldn't wipe off her face for a long while.

"See?" She panted, "I can win at that race!"

They both laughed.

"Show off." Riku splashed some water at her, bending down to dodge any throw back she might have, but Sora just clapped.

"How do girls do that, anyway?" He wondered aloud, as Kairi just giggled with the bouncing of her shoulders, shaking her head.

"Don't know. I've been told all I sound like a princess by my foster family, though." She admitted, "Apparently, all princess's have good singing voices."

"Princess?" Sora tilted his head.

"Yeah, you wish..!" Riku mocked with a light tease, ruffling his hand on the top of her head before flinging her a little away, "Let's fix the Star Post first... you know Sora's gonna whine all day tomorrow if we can't use it as a finish line landmark..." He gestured a hand up as he spoke while looking back to the two.

"Hey! I'm not a crybaby!" Sora got up and stomped his foot, then raced after Riku, "I'll still make it to it first!" he challenged, as Riku just looked enthused to hear that.

"Oh?" He started running, "Show me!" he took off with sand spraying in his every footfall's wake.

Kairi giggled, softening down her momentarily ruffled hair before looking out over the sea... gasping as she thought she heard a voice...

Words in the clouds... 'Don't be afraid... All journeys begin and end with a song... Here... is your destiny, little trio.'
