Hey everyone. I am super sorry for the long wait since the last chapter. Like before, I was in a rut over how the duel would play out now that Sartorius had Ra in play. I lost my groove for a bit, but I got it back! Now, I am aware of the new support cards for the God Cards, so I combined Ra's support cards, (With exception to Ancient Chant), into the Anime monster itself. Hope you all enjoy!

Everyone stared as golden rays shot out from the orb. The center part of it slithered, revealing the tail of the oncoming storm. The lower part shifted into a pair of legs ending with metal talons. The top half split into two pieces, the first set of pieces changing into massive gold plated wings. From the second set, arms reached out, thunder rolling off of the claws. A large head rose up, its eyes burning red as it let loose a screeching cry.

Winged Dragon of Ra – ATK/?, DEF/? → ATK/8600, DEF/8150

The chains from Mound of the Bound Creator once again came to life, wrapping around the arms, legs, and neck of the mighty beast before them. Sartorius began to laugh in triumph, the screeching roar of Ra mixing with it. Winds blew around the young King and Hamon, both who looked grim.

The most powerful of the God monsters was summoned. How would this turn the tide?

Jaden scowled, seeing the mighty beast before him. He sensed it had gained Ra's soul. The chains around it had dragged said soul back from the realm it was peacefully slumbering from. That had made it enraged. But also thanks to those chains, its rage was contained. Sartorius was cackling like a mad man, the White Aura out and gaining a face. The surge of power had pushed back the rage, turning Ra's eyes lifeless.

Everyone tensed at hearing Ra give out a screech. A orb of fire had appeared in the ring over its head. Jaden's eyes went wide.

"Skyfire's effect kicks in! Hamon! DEFEND!" Jaden called out.

The twilight version of Ra nodded, quickly kneeling down and crossing its arms. The blast tore through the monster, Jaden covering his face. Sartorius scowled, forgetting that spell card was still in play. But it mattered little. The possessed man placed a card facedown and ended his turn.

Drawing, Jaden looked over his hand. He grimaced; he had plenty of spell and trap cards, but Ra was immune to them all. He discarded the Polymerization he just got to regain Hamon. Said monster returned, in defense mode. He placed another card facedown, ending his turn. He needed to time this just right.

Sartorius drew, smirking up a storm. He played Giant Soldier of Stone in defense, a means to keep Jaden on the defense should he get around Ra. Ra attacked, destroying Hamon again. Jaden covered his face, but thanks to Hamon in defense, he took no damage. Sartorius ended, grinning up a storm.

"This is bad..." Salome said, watching the duel. "Ra is one of the most powerful cards in play."

"What I want to know is how is Jaden not taking any damage?" Chumley muttered, making everyone look at him.

Seeing the looks, prompting him to explain.

It was Mound of the Bound Creator's effect. Each time a ten star monster or higher destroyed another monster, a thousand points would be inflicted. Bastion chuckled, looking at Chumley.

"The answer is obvious. Hamon's effect. It must not only prevent battle damage but effect damage too."

"That's right, but there's a big problem. While Skyfire is able to revive Hamon, Jaden has a limited number of spells. Hamon can only be revived so much." Syrus pointed out.

"True. Same with Uria" Bastion conceded, frowning hard.

Jaden had started his turn, tuning out the conversations. He drew, seeing it was one of the Chaos Phantom monsters. He added it to his hand and then revealed his facedown trap card.

"Reckless Greed. I draw two more cards while giving up my draw phase." Jaden stated, drawing another two cards.

Looking them over, he saw that one was Uria and the other was Pot of Avarice. He grinned, a plan forming, checking over the rest of his hand. He first used Pot of Avarice to regain five cards from his grave, barring his Fusion monster. He added the fiveshuffling it. Slotting it back in, he drew two cards. He saw one was Raviel, but it was Shimmering Strike, not the actual monster. The second one was Hyper Blaze. Nodding, Jaden first set the trap, then revealed a monster.

"I play Dark Beckoning Beast. With his effect, I gain a card from my deck. But that's not all. I'm allowed to summon a Fiend-Type monster once more. I play Chaos Summoning Beast!"

The two tiny monsters appeared, snarling at Sartorius and Ra. Jaden then used Summoning Beast's effect, tributing it for Uria.

The twilight god of Fire rose up, snarling. He glared at Ra barely feeling the chains of Mound creep around him.

"I use Uria's effect, taking out your facedown, Sartorius."

Sartorius snarled, watching as the sonic scream destroyed his Spellbinding Circle. Jaden then used Skyfire's effect again, discarding Swords of Revealing Light, one of the cards he got back.

Hamon appeared, kneeling in defense mode. Then a glow came from Jaden's graveyard.

"I banish Summoning Beast to add Fallen Paradise to my hand." Jaden stated, adding said spell to his hand. "Only now I'll play it! And use its effect to draw two more cards. I'll end my turn at that."

All around them, roots broke through the earth as a large tree grew between the stone monoliths. Hamon and Uria gained a slight aura around them, making Jaden smirk. With the aura, they were protected from card effects. Not attacks, but at least Sartorius couldn't destroy them outright with cards like Dark Hole or Raigeki.

"My turn." Sartorius stated, drawing his card.

He summoned out the Feral Imp before revealing a spell card.

"I play Swap."

(Swap – Type/Spell/Normal.

Select up to 2 monsters in play. Change their Attack and Defense points.)

"I chose Giant Soldier and Feral Imp." Sartorius stated, the two's points swapping around.

Now what was going on? Sartorius smirked. He pointed at the skeletal look alike of Ra.

"Ra, attack Hamon."

The monster was blasted away, Sartorius revealing a spell.

"I play Time Reversal."

(Time Reversal – Type/Spell/Quick-Play.

Select 1 Phase of your turn. The current Phase is now the one chosen. If the Draw Phase is chosen, you do not draw a card.)

"I select my Standby Phase. Now, I enter my battle phase once more. Ra, attack!"

"You activated the trap card, Hyper Blaze! I use its effect to send three traps to the grave!"

"Lischus! Jaden has another three traps! That makes Uria's attack six thousand!"

"Yes, but Ra is stronger." Bastion pointed out.

"Wait, won't Time Reversal negate Hamon's effect?" Syrus asked, making everyone's eyes widen.

"Oh shit!" was the collective thought.

Ra tore through Uria with its Blaze Cannon attack. Jaden took damage, the wind making him cover his face.

Jaden: 6500 – 2600 → 3900 – 2600 → 1300

Knowing he had dealt serious damage, Sartorius placed a card and ended his turn. Jaden did not draw, thanks to Reckless Greed. But he did end up discarding a trap. This was to bring back Uria. He then used Fallen Paradise's effect to draw two cards. He saw one of them was Raviel.

Adding the two to his hand, the king used Uria's effect to destroy the facedown. Following that, he then used Blaze's effect, sending another three to the grave.

Uria – ATK & DEF/8000 → 11,000

"YES! That card is stronger then Ra!" Alexis cheered, making everyone agree.

"Take out Ra and Sartorius will temporarily lose the monster!" Bastion cried out.

"Uria! Attack!"

Sartorius watched as the monster drew in a breath. It exhaled its flames, the two attacks clashing. But Sartorius smirked.

"I use one of Ra's many effects. I tribute my Soldier of Stone and Feral Imp to add their current attack to Ra's."

"What?!" Bastion gasped out.

"He can do that?!" Chazz roared.

"Don't forget, everyone, that Ra is the most powerful of the God monsters. There are many effects that were never revealed even when they existed." Professor Sweet stated, watching.

The two monsters vanished in light, the sparkles joining the fire. Jaden grimaced, having walked right into the counter attack.

Ra – ATK/8600 + 2000 + 1400 → 11,600

Jaden: 700

Jaden grimaced, watching as Uria was blasted apart. He first used Emergency Provisions to get rid of Imperial Iron Wall. He needed it gone anyways and the life points.

Jaden: 1700

He followed that up by discarding a spell, thus regaining Hamon. Placing the monster in defense mode, he ended his turn with a facedown card.

Ra – ATK/11,600 → 8600

"Well, at least Ra's attack points returned to normal...but now that we all know what Sartorius can do, this is a problem for Jaden. He's down to the last seventeen hundred points." Professor Sweet stated.

Everyone barely acknowledge what he said. They were too focused on the next play. Sartorius drew, not really looking at his hand now. He grabbed a card and revealed it.

"I summon Queen's Knight in attack mode. Now Ra, attack that fake of yours!" Sartorius demanded.

Hamon was blasted away, but Jaden took no damage thanks to Hamon's effect. Sartorius ended his turn. Jaden once more could not draw due to Reckless, but that didn't stop him. He first used Skyfire's effect, discarding his Phantasmal Martyrs spell.

Hamon appeared, roaring. That had everyone confused. Why was Jaden summoning Hamon in attack mode? The King continued with Fallen's effect, drawing another two cards. He discarded a trap, regaining Uria. Jaden looked at his hand, nodding.

"Sartorius, Light of Ruin...its time to be reintroduced to an old friend." Jaden snarled.

Sartorius froze. An old friend? He couldn't mean-!

"I play the spell card Dimension Fusion Destruction!"

(Dimension Fusion Destruction – Type/Spell/Normal. Banish from your hand, field, and/or GY, the Fusion Materials that are listed on a "Phantasm" Fusion Monster, then Special Summon that Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, ignoring its Summoning conditions. You take no battle damage from attacks involving the monster Special Summoned by this effect. If you control "Uria, Lord of Searing Flames", "Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder", or "Raviel, Lord of Phantasms", your opponent cannot activate cards or effects in response to this card's activation.)

"I banish from my field both Uria and Hamon! From my hand I banish Raviel! When the three suns of Twilight set on one another, they unleash a brilliant display! I fusion summon! ARMITYLE THE CHAOS PHANTASM!"

(Armityle The Chaos Phantasm – LV/************, Attribute/DARK, ATK/0, DEF/0, Type/Fiend/Effect/Fusion.

"Uria, Lord of Searing Flames" + "Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder" + "Raviel, Lord of Phantasms"
Must first be Special Summoned (from your Extra Deck) by banishing the above cards you control. (You do not use "Polymerization".) Cannot be destroyed by battle. Gains 10,000 ATK during your turn only. This card's attribute and type are treated as DIVINE and DIVINE-BEAST while face-up on the field along with its Original Attribute and Type. This card's Divine Hierarchy Level is treated as 3. If fusion summoned by the effect of 'Dimension Fusion Destruction', this card cannot be targeted or destroyed by Card Effects.)

A pillar of vibrant and various colors appeared. Raviel appeared in the center, roaring in delight. Uria and Hamon flew into the pillar, echoing the roar. The skies turned black, the pillar shrinking. When it was fully gone, the skies lit up. The clouds became bright blue, a massive shaft of light raining down.

Sartorius cried out, covering his face. He was not the only one; several covered their faces to block out the intense light. The roar of a new creature made everyone open their eyes.

The saw the head of Uria descend...and then cried out. For the head of Uria was now a left arm. The torso and head was of Raviel's, covered in gold bands. His right arm was covered in Hamon's bones, giving him a nasty looking spear. The wings of said Twilight Thunder god made up his back. Everyone saw that the red scales of Uria made up the back of the tail. Jaden smirked, the massive monster lowering next to him.

"Welcome back, old friend."

"It is grand to be back, my King. So, the Light of Ruin has returned. A shame. For him." Armityle spoke, his voice a mix of all three, but sounding more regal.

"Agreed. Now, let me explain Armityle's effect. During my turn only, he gains ten thousand attack and he is immortal."

Armityle – ATK/0 → 10,000

"Whoa nelly!" Bonnie shouted, seeing the points.

"But don't forget Ra's effect allows him to tribute his monsters to boost Ra's power." Maurice called out.

"And don't forget that Sartorius can reduce his Life Points to one to increase Ra's power." Pegasus stated, scowling.

That was a sobering thought for everyone. Despite Jaden attacking, Sartorius still had over twenty-thousand life points. Coupled with Ra's eighty-six hundred, that made for a VERY powerful monster. Jaden frowned, but then grinned. He had checked over his hand and saw the perfect trap. He placed it facedown. Sartorius grew worried. What was that brat planning?

"Armityle! Attack! Chaos Fusion cannon!"

Armityle roared, orbs of energy appearing. The first orb was in Uria's mouth. The second appeared between Raviel's crown. The final orb was in Armityle's spear arm. Sartorius was quick to use Ra's special power.

"I give all but one of my life points and convert them to Ra's attack points!"

Sartorius: 27,450 → 1

Ra – ATK/8600 + 27,449 → 36,049

Everyone watched as Sartorius joined with Ra, a large gaping hole where his left eye would be. He laughed, the white aura overtaking Ra.

"Oh that is ridiculous!" Syrus called out.

"Not good!" Fiona called out.

Jaden scowled. That was not unexpected. He continued with the attack though. Everyone thought he had lost it. The orbs became a single beam, soaring toward Ra. Ra returned fire, the attack easily overwhelming Armityle's. The attack struck the monster, bathing it in fire.

"While Armityle is immortal, your life points are not! Farewell, Supreme King!" Sartorius bellowed, madly laughing.

"JADEN!"

Just before the attack hit, a prism appeared around Jaden. The attack slammed against it, but the prism held. Sartorius gasped. What had happened!?

"Lischous! My spell effect worked!" Chumley called out, but held a hand over his heart. "Still got my heart racing like no tomorrow though!"

"What?! What are you talking about, Chumley?!" Chazz demanded turning to the large boy.

Chumley explained; a fusion monster summoned by DFD made the controller of the card immune to battle damage. That made everyone sigh in relief. Still did not help ease the heart rates of many duelists.

Jaden ended his turn, sighing. The gamble hadn't paid off like he had hoped, but he got Sartorius right where he wanted him.

Armityle – ATK/10,000 → 0

"I draw." Sartorius said.

"And I activate my trap! JUST DESSERTS!"

(Just Desserts – Type/Trap/Normal.

Inflict 500 damage to your opponent for each monster they control.)

"Oh hell yeah!" Atticus cheered. "With Sartorius down to just a measly point, its game over!"

"I activate De-Fusion! I separate myself from Ra and regain all of my life points!"

Everyone cried out in dismay. Jaden had been so close! Sartorius played the card he had just drawn. He soon stood before them all, whole once more.

Sartorius: 1 + 36,459 → 36,450 – 1000 → 35,450

Ra – ATK/36,459 → 0

Ra fell to the ground, impacting hard. Jaden's face became one of pure fury. Sartorius did not show any sort of kindness to the soul. He merely dusted himself off.

"As if I would make it that easy, King of Gentle Darkness. Ra is just a tool...like everyone here."

Those that were still blinded by Sartorius cheered. Jaden just grit his teeth.

"Just make your move, parasite."

Sartorius did. He played King's Knight, getting out Jack's Knight in defense. Switching Queen's to defense as well, he took stock. He knew that attacking Armityle was futile. The monster was immortal and thanks to the spell, Jaden would take no damage. So, he settled for boosting his defenses, even putting Ra in defense mode.

"I end my turn."

Jaden drew, looking at the card. He revealed it to be Burial in a different dimension, returning the sacred Beasts back to the grave. That had everyone confused. What was Jaden up to?

"Next, I play Super Destabilizing Fusion!"

(Super Destabilizing Fusion – Type/Spell/Normal.

Select up to 3 Fusion Monsters from your Extra Deck. Send them to the GY.)

Jaden selected three of his Evil HERO Fusions. Sending them to the Grave, he smirked. He revealed a card in his hand.

"I play Heroes United!"

(Heroes United – Type/Spell/Normal.

Select 1 "HERO" monster from your hand or deck. Special Summon it. Destroy it at the end of the turn.)

"I bring out...Elemental HERO Neos!"

The commander of the Neo Spacians appeared. Striking his pose, he landed next to Jaden. The Dark king wasted no time. He played Elemental HERO Stratos, destroying Mound of the Bound Creator via its effect. Sartorius roared in anger at that. But Jaden didn't care. He used Fallen's effect, drawing two cards.

He placed them facedown right away. Then he attacked with Armityle and Neos. Armityle destroyed Ra, making Sartorius scowl. Everyone part of the EoD cheered, seeing the might beast fall.

Neos cut through Queen's knight. Stratos used his turbines to cut through Jack's Knight. Jaden smirked.

"Seems you're on the back foot now, Parasite."

"Hardly, you brat!" Sartorius cackled. "Do you end?"

"I do." Jaden said, Neos shattering.

Sartorius drew, smirking up a storm as he drew. Looking at the card, the possessed man burst out into hysterical laughter. Jaden went on edge, realization dawning on his face; how could he have forgotten!? The final form of the Winged Dragon of Ra! The most powerful of all of its forms!

"I see you figured it out, King! I play MONSTER REBORN! RETURN TO ME, WINGED DRAGON OF RA!"

A flume of fire erupted from the graveyard. Everyone gasped.

"Oh no!" Pegasus cried out. "Ra's Phoenix form!"

The blazing form of Ra appeared, screeching. Sartorius cackled in delight.

"I give up a thousand life points to destroy EVERYTHING!"

Sartorius: 35,450 → 34,450

The monster screamed, bathing everything in fire. Jaden gasped, seeing his monsters turned to ash. Even King's Knight was consumed in the fire. Everyone watched as Ra returned to Sartorius's side, the fires dying away. Everyone saw the golden sphere that Ra once was in appear. That confused everyone.

"I thought Ra returned to the graveyard!" Syrus asked Pegasus and Kaiba.

"It should...unless..." Kaiba began when Pegasus took over.

"Sartorius discovered something about the card that even poor Marik didn't know about."

"They are correct, Supreme King of Darkness. You see, if I sacrifice a monster to Ra's fire, he will return to Sphere mode." Sartorius stated, his voice distorted.

"Shit." Jaden swore, knowing what that meant.

"Be grateful that he cannot attack until I speak the chant again. But you cannot target him nor can you destroy him. So I end my turn."

Jaden drew his card. Looking over his barren field, he looked at his card. Upon seeing it, he smirked.

"I activate one of my facedowns, Seal Break!"

(Seal Break – Type/Spell/Normal.

Send 4 DARK Fiend-Type Monsters from your deck to the GY. Special Summon "Vile HERO War", "Vile HERO Pestilence", "Vile HERO Plague", and "Vile HERO Death" to the field, ignoring their summoning conditions. Negate their effects and destroy them at the end of the 2nd turn.)

Jaden chose Yubel, Infernal Prodigy, Evil HERO Death Commander and Jackal. Four seals appeared and they all shattered. Everyone heard the clopping of hooves and the Four Horsemen appeared, jumping off their steeds. They landed, glaring at the Light of Ruin.

"What good will these four monsters do for you, King? All they do is make it easier to destroy you!"

"You'll understand when my turn comes next, Light of Ruin!" Jaden snarled, ending his turn.

Sartorius drew his card, but he just smirked. Crossing his arms, he began to speak.

"Great beast of the sky, please hear my cry. Transform thyself from orb of light and bring me victory in this fight. Envelop the desert with your glow and cast your rage upon my foe. Unlock your powers from deep within so that together we may win. Appear in this Shadow Game as I call out your name, Winged Dragon of Ra!"

Once more, the sphere changed into the mighty beast. It roared with rage. With Mound no longer in play, the spirit was free. Or so it thought.

"I play another Mound of the Bound Creator!"

The stone pillars reappeared around the tree from Fallen Paradise. Its chains snaked around Ra, binding it once more. Jaden grit his teeth. How dare Sartorius do it a SECOND time to the God monster!

Winged Dragon of Ra – ATK/? → 4000, DEF/? → 4000

"Thanks to Sphere's hidden effect, my Dragon has four thousand points. More then enough to deal with all but Death."

"Do not underestimate us, Parasite. We are the Four Horsemen for a reason!" War declared.

"Brother, we will only be on the field for one more turn. Then the King will be in danger." Plague stated, something that made War grind his teeth.

"He will attack with Ra, brothers. And thanks to Broken Seal, our powerful effects are negated."

"You underestimate the King, brothers. For he is already several steps ahead of the wyrm before us." Death intoned.

"It matters little! RA! ATTACK WAR!"

Ra screeched, preparing its signature attack. But Jaden smirked then. Sartorius snarled.

"What are you-?!"

"I activate the spell card, Supreme Fusion!"

That made everyone start. Supreme what? Yubel was cackling like mad. That made the four girls look at her. She happily explained that it was more of Jaden's connection to the Gentle Darkness.

(Supreme Fusion – Type/Spell/Quick-Play.

Select 1 Fusion monster in your Extra Deck. Return Fusion material cards listed on the Fusion monster in your hand, GY or Banished Zone to the deck. If you control a 'HERO' monster, this card cannot be negated. A Fusion monster summoned by this effect gains the following effect;

When this card attacks or is attacked, increase the ATK by 10,000.)

"Light of Ruin! Do you not recall the monster that led to your sealing before? Supreme HERO Valor? I only used Armityle and Neos that time. This time, I add the four Vile HEROes to the mix!"

"WHAT?! NOT THAT!" The Light roared.

"I fuse Armityle, Neos, Vile HEROes War, Plague, Pestilence, and Death! Come forth and serve me at long last...SUPREME HERO HAOU!"

(Supreme HERO Haou – LV/************, Attribute/DARK, ATK/5000, DEF/5000, Type/Warrior/Fusion/Effect.

"Armityle, The Chaos Phantasm." + "Elemental HERO Neos" + 1+ HERO monsters

Cannot be summoned except by Fusion Summon. When this card is Fusion Summoned, add up to 4 cards from your GY and/or Banished zone to your hand. This card cannot be targeted by your opponent's card effects nor can it be destroyed by card effects. During your turn only, this card gains 5000 ATK. This card can attack twice per battle phase. When this card attacks a Defense position monster, inflict double piercing damage to the Opponent's life points. Once per turn, you can Special Summon 1 HERO monster from your hand, deck, or GY. This card cannot attack directly if you use this effect. During each End Phase, recover 4000 life points. When this card is sent to the GY, Special Summon 1 monster, ignoring its summoning Conditions.

*Effect from Supreme Fusion: Gains 10,000 ATK when attacks or is attacked.)

Everyone watched as a monster clad in black armor appeared from the vortex. Three blades were on each shoulder, glinting in the light. The helmet of the monster was styled after Jaden's when he was in Supreme King form. Its eyes glowed brightly, the same gold shine that Jaden had. A crimson cape fluttered behind him, drawing a sword and shield with an eye in the center of it. Four cards appeared back in Jaden's hand, smirking. Sartorius saw how powerful the monster was and snarled. He placed a card facedown, ending his turn.

Jaden drew. Adding the card to his hand, he revealed a spell card.

"I play DDF once more! Return, Armityle!"

The Twilight God fusion reappeared, roaring. Sartorius screamed in rage. Both of the monsters were too powerful for Ra to handle! What made things worse was that he had no other monsters to sacrifice to power it. Jaden smirked, capitalizing on that.

Armityle – ATK/10,000

Haou – ATK/5000 + 5000 → 10,000

"Armityle! Attack first! Take out Ra! Chaos Spear!"

Armityle roared, firing its spear at Ra. The monster screamed as the spear struck dead center. Ra melted into a puddle of golden goo, Sartorius screaming.

Sartorius: 34,450 → 28,450

"Foolish King! I can still win this!"

"We'll see! Haou! ATTACK! Darkness Strike!"

"I use my facedown trap! Call of Kuriboh!"

(Call of Kuriboh – Type/Trap/Continious.

Special Summon 1 "Kuriboh" OR "Winged Kuriboh" to your field from your hand, deck, or GY.)

"That won't work. He banished Kuriboh for BLS – Envoy." Sally pointed out.

But everyone was stunned at what Satorius shouted.

"I summon...WINGED KURIBOH IN ATTACK MODE!"

The tiny monster appeared, squeaking. Haou struck the monster, making Sartorius cackle.

Sartorius: 28,450 – 19,700 → 8750

"Alright! According to Yubel, Jaden has one more attack to do!" Alexis cheered.

"Alexis, Sartorius scraped by." Chazz said through gritted teeth.

That made everyone look to him. Chazz reminded them of last year when the School duel happened. He had destroyed Winged Kuriboh with an effect that prevented Jaden from taking damage. Sartorius did the same thing, only he summoned his copy in attack mode.

Everyone in the EoD groaned. Sartorius had survived! Jaden scowled, setting one card facedown.

"I end my turn." Jaden snarled.

Sartorius drew, looking at his hand. He revealed Pot of Greed, drawing two cards. Seeing what one of them was, he cackled. That was when Jaden struck.

"I reveal my facedown trap! Cursed Sarcophagus!"

(Cursed Sarcophagus – Type/Trap/Continiuous.

Banish 1 card from your hand or deck. If your opponent plays the card you have selected, negate its activation and destroy it.)

Cursed Sarcophagus's effect was explained. Jaden banished one card from his deck. Should Sartorius play the card, he could negate its activation and destroy it.

A black sarcophagus appeared, opening its lid. The back of a card appeared, sliding into it before the lid slammed shut. Sartorius laughed, stating that there was no way the king could predict what he could chose.

But Jaden remained confident. Sartorius revealed the card; Magical Stone Excavation. He discarded his two cards, regaining one. Sartorius cackled, revealing the card.

"Monster Reborn! Now return to me, WINGED DRAGON OF-UHA!?"

Everyone saw the card turn gray. Confusion took place. What was going on? Here, Jaden smirked. The black Sarcophagus opened up. The chosen card spun around to reveal-

"Monster Reborn!" Everyone exclaimed in equal amounts of joy and despair.

"No..." Sartorius whispered, seeing his card crumble to ash. "This is...not...possible!"

"But it is, Parasite." Jaden snarled.

A beeping from Sartorius's disk alerted the man. His time had expired. It was now Jaden's turn. The King drew a single card. He pointed at the man.

"Haou. End this."

The calm tone did nothing to showcase the anger and rage Jaden felt. Haou was all too happy to charge forward. The Light of Ruin's true form erupted from the mortal body, screaming in rage.

The black armored fist of Haou smashed into its face, driving it out of not just Sartorius, but the remaining SoL members. Everyone was screaming in pain as the remains of the Light left them. Each one slumped into their seats, conscious, but in pain.

Sartorius: 8750 → 0

Jaden: 1700 (WINNER)

Silence. There was nothing but absolute silence. Then Syrus cheered.

"JADEN!"

The cheer was soon taken up by everyone. The entire EoD began to hug one another, celebrating. Pegasus and Kaiba both breathed sighs of relief. It was-

"No! I reFUSE To DiE!"

Everyone gasped as the Light of Ruin was seen leaving the arena. What now!?

EODGX

Far out into space, the SORA satellite sat. Without the keys, it was useless...or so everyone thought. Unseen, a massive pillar of white energy entered it. The satellite's controls and sensors went ballistic as something overrode everything. It readjusted its orbit to point directly at Duel Academy Central.

Now in its new body, the Light of Ruin laughed.

"NOW DIE SUPREME KING!"

The tip of the laser cannon began to glow.

EODGX

Back on the island, Ojin got a call. Answering, his face went ashen in shock. Seeing this, his sectrary asked what was wrong.

"The Satellite has changed its orbit! Its aimed right at the island and is charging up! Something has taken it over and locked out everything!"

The announcement had everyone panic. The Light of Ruin was going for its final gambit! Hearing this, Jaden looked at Armityle.

"STOP THAT PARASITE, ARMITYLE!" Jaden bellowed.

The monster bellowed, vanishing.

EODGX

High in orbit, Armityle reappeared. It gathered energy, firing just as the cannon fired. The two energies crashed into one another, fighting for dominance. Back on the arena floor, Jaden cried out, blood leaking from his nose. Everyone quickly gathered around him, but the King fell to one knee.

"It's...too...strong..." He gasped out. "Please...help..."

Alexis stared at her boyfriend, seeing the blood trickling down. Gritting her teeth, she wanted to know how she could help him. A wave of emotions overtook her then and she knew. Reaching into her deck box, she pulled out a single card.

"BLADER! AID ARMITYLE!" She called out, her card glowing.

Seeing what she was doing, Mindy and Jasmine pulled out cards as well.

"Lunalight cat dancer! Amazoness Empress!" Jasmine called out, her cards glowing.

"Frightfur Saber-Tooth!" Mindy screamed.

One by one, the rest of the GX crew and Central Top began to pull out their strongest spirit cards. Syrus brought out Cyber End, Cyber Darkness, and DMG. Bastion, Water Dragon.

Jason, Hellfire AKA Red-Eyes Darkness Metal.

Crowler, Ancient Gear Golem.

Salome, Black Luster Soldier.

Maurice, Stardust Dragon.

Miles, Scrap Dragon.

Fiona, Kit and Vix.

Bonnie, Terra Firma.

Anthony, Brilliant Diamond.

More and more of the Central students chose cards that best represented their souls. The other four academy students joined in. They chose their spirit cards, holding them aloft to join in the battle. Pegasus and Kaiba joined in, summoning their strongest; Relinquished for Pegasus and Blue-Eyes for Kaiba.

Even the SoL members drew on their cards. Sartorius held up EX Light and Dark Ruler.

The chosen cards all began to glow.

High up, Armityle saw the various duel spirits joining him. He felt their power and managed to push back the Beam. But it soon slid right back. Central and the other schools just was not enough!

Jaden gasped, falling to his other knee and nearly falling to the floor. Alexis, Jasmine, and Mindy were at his side in an instant.

"Not...enough...Spirits...please...hear your King...help us...save our...home!" Jaden panted out, tears falling.

Far from Central, a young boy was playing duel monsters with his friends. He was no older then five, yet was gifted.

Why?

Because he had a duel spirit. The Summoned Skull.

He was about to play his spirit when he felt a great pain in his heart.

Tears welled up in his eyes, but he had no clue why.

"Hey, what's wrong?" His friend asked, suddenly feeling the same pain.

"I...it hurts..." The boy whimpered. "He...hurts..."

Closing his eyes, the young child saw what was going on. He saw a massive monster standing before a satellite, but from the satellite came something that felt...wrong. Something that was pure evil. The larger monster was joined by several smaller ones, even the fabled Blue-Eyes! But even with them, the Evil thing's beam continued to push forward.

"Please...help us protect our home!" The tiny boy heard.

Heart pounding, the young boy raised his card high and with a watery cry, screamed out.

"HELP THEM SUMMONED SKULL!"

All of the gathered children watched in amazement as the card glowed and they heard the roar of the monster. Everyone saw the fiendish monster soar out of the card, flying into the air. They looked at the child that had just summoned the great Fiend.

"Come on! They need our help! Duelists are in trouble, they need our aide! Summon them! Call them! Call out our spirits!" The little boy cried out through his tears.

The duel was quickly forgotten. Everyone once again felt the same pain hit their hearts and heard a distant plea. One of the bigger boys pulled out his deck.

"Y-you heard him! Summon our best friends! Giant Rat! Whoever this guy is...he needs our help! Lend him a hand!" He called out, the card glowing.

The spirits of the cards heard the call of their king. They placed the emotional turmoil of what was happening on their chosen allies hearts. In turn, their allies summoned them. All around the world, duelists of all ages sensed the danger, drew upon their spirit allies and sent them to help out in whatever way they could.

In an unknown place, two people, both blondes were sitting for coffee felt the call.

"Mai?"

"I felt it, Joey. Harpie Ladies!"

"Flame Swordsman!"

The two monsters appeared, taking off. Joey Wheeler looked up, frowning. He didn't know what was going on...but a duelist was in trouble. He was glad to lend his aide. Mai Valentine, his girlfriend, felt the same call, knowing that a duelist was in need of help.

"Get whatever it is, you guys..." Mai whispered, watching her trusted monster fly with the swordsman.

Armityle felt them before seeing them. The call of so many duel spirits. They came and added to the slowly growing power. The Light of Ruin, sensing this as well, snarled. It poured more of its power into the beam, forcing Armityle's back.

"JUST ACCEPT YOUR DEATH! ALL THINGS BURN!"

"No..."

Everyone on the planet below felt the word. They sensed the great power before them. Everyone 'saw' a being in black armor appear. Nothing else was said. He joined the battle, pushing himself into the beam Armityle had. But even with the newcomer, the power was still not enough to overpower the Light. The Light laughed and laughed.

"ALL THINGS BEGAN WITH LIGHT...AND ALL THINGS WILL BURN WITH LIGHT! NOW TURN TO ASH AND BECOME LIGHT!"

"Never." The spirits cried.

Every duelist below felt the massive power suddenly appear. In their mind's eyes, they saw the legendary Winged Dragon of Ra appear. The Light's red eyes widened. What was that monster doing? The might beast became wreathed in its flames, flying at Haou.

"This is our home. This is our star! These are our friends! WE WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO HARM THEM!" The spirits cried out.

Ra and Haou both flew into Armityle's attack, the spirits adding their own attacks to it. The energy wrapped around the Supreme HERO as did Ra's Phoenix fire.

All around the world, people could swear they heard a song then.

The Light of Ruin roared with rage, maximizing the energy output of the cannon, even exceeding it. It watched on, the beam crashing into the two spirits and the attack of the others. It laughed manically, seeing the beam envelope the two. But its laughter soon faded.

The reason?

The beam was being pushed back. Every single spirit poured more power. They thought of their friends down below, the people they had made bonds with. The hope and dreams of the duelists below.

They would not let the Light win! They would stand their ground!

That resolve, their determination to protect their most precious of allies slowly began to turn the tide. Haou and Ra surged forward, fueled by the fires of every duelist's heart.

Haou's mask crumbled away to reveal Jaden's own face. His golden eyes glowed with the intensity of a thousand suns. The Light screamed as the two spirits smashed into the satellite's cannon.

"Light of Ruin...DIE!" Haou, Jaden and the spirits roared as one.

The Light of Ruin screeched as the satellite's hull was consumed in divine fire. Every bit of its energy was consumed in the onslaught. The SORA satellite exploded.

All over the world, the people could see the explosion light up even in the daylight. The spirits all exhausted, cheered. At Central, everyone joined in the cheering. Jaden smiled exhaustedly, falling onto his back.

"Its done...it's dead." Jaden whispered, Alexis and the others hearing that cheered even louder.

Far from them, Pegasus's PDA began to rapidly beep. Looking at it, he saw it was from his space experts. He showed the message to Kaiba.

"That white hole has dispersed. I think Jaden boy did it for real this time." Pegasus said, smiling.

"I believe it." Kaiba said, chuckling. "Pegasus...did you-?"

"Feel everyone's spirits? Yes, Kaiba boy, I did. Duelists...we share a bond and heart with the cards we love. That was something the Light of Ruin never could understand."

"Still...Sartorius did lead a cult...even if he wasn't himself. We need a damn good cover story."

"Hohoho, Kaiba...leave that to me." Pegasus said.

Word soon got out about what happened at Central. Pegaus was able to contact an old friend of his who had connections to Interpol. After explaining the oulandish story, which to him it was, the contact agreed to help the siblings out.

Ojin's family arrived at central and were not happy to say the least. But Pegasus was able to soothe the tensions. He told them that the two were not to blame for what happened to the satellite.

He had placed the blame on a shadow group that made profits off of war. This shadow group had kidnapped Sartorius and Serena as children, brainwashing them. But the brainwashing had not taken as well as the group had hoped.

Sartorius had managed to break free long enough to give a key to them and the information. Information that they had turned over to Interpol. Sadly, Interpol was having trouble with finding this group, even with the information. The royal family understood and apologized to Sartorius and his sister.

"I am just glad the brainwashing broke when the satellite was activated..." Sartorius stated, making Ojin nod.

"Quite. I hope we can put this sordid business behind us, Mister Sartorius." Ojin said, shaking the man's hand.

Sheppard cleared his throat then.

"Ladies and Gentleman, I am pleased to annouce the winner of the Genex Tournament! Our very own, Mister Jaden Yuki!"

Everyone cheered and clapped, the young man standing up. He was handed a contract that would allow Pegasus to make a new line of cards for him. He chuckled, looking at the fusion card that helped it all.

"I have a few ideas, Pegasus. How about making a new line of heroes called...Supreme HEROes?"

"Oh Jaden Boy, you are spoiling me!" Pegasus laughed, loving the idea.

Sartorius and Aster had passed the Pro contracts to the people they felt really deserved it. Aster gave the pro contract to Chazz Princeton, shocking the boy. Aster's reasoning? His duel with Sartorius. Despite him being under the Light's influence, he had held his own. Sartorius gave his to Syrus, for the exact same reasoning.

Now, they wouldn't be pros until they graduated, but it would help get their foot in the door.

Dmitri had gotten into BIG trouble for his theft of the King of Games deck. Because he was a minor though, he would face no jail time. His time at Central though was up. He had been expelled and told not to return next year which made the boy start sobbing.

The greatest threat to ever grace the universe was dead. Jaden had fulfilled his role as the Guardian of the Gentle Darkness. For Jaden and his friends, they had survived another crazy year at the academy. They were waiting for the summer to start and hopefully have a relaxing year next year.

But that is a story for another time.

And done! Thank you all for coming along for the ride in Celestial War. Will there be a third one? Yes. BUT! I have some projects I placed on the backburner I want to finish up first. Along with moving. I'm not leaving for good, but I am expanding to Ao3. Look for me on there, Prime1991.

Thanks again...and see you soon.
