New foods are exciting to have, especially when more and more recipes are being discovered each day; So, there's no doubt these new foods were a game changer when it came to major island work. Just one dish made (Player) feel like they could move the entire island. Unfortunately, along with this newfound strength came both the curse and satisfaction of feeling full.
(Player) had filled up on (native fruit) a million times before, but eating real food or dishes was a whole new ballgame, so to speak. This particular night of work left (Player) unable to move after having a little too much. They did a ton of terraforming earlier that day and now laid curled up on their bed, ultimately worse for wear. And, they didn't dare to move, because their stomach would growl violently in protest as it sent waves of pain all throughout their torso.
Just when they were about to dig up their 50th tree today, their stomach began aching terribly. So much so, they called the Island Rescue Service to airlift them home. Fun fact, lots of food and helicopter rides don't go well together... Neither did stairs, which made (Player) question whether or not it was worth sleeping in their living room that night.
Laying in the dark, (Player) wondered vaguely if their pain compared to how their pockets felt when packed to the brim, then silently apologized. They'd never have full pockets again if it meant they'd never, ever have to experience an ache like this again. Ever!
They carefully unfolded themselves, opting to lay on their back to ease the pain. In doing so, they speculated whether medicine would help, but soon found that they were too full to take any even if they wanted to try. Wonderful, right?
(Player) signed in defeat, barely making an effort to adjust the bed as they prepared themselves to sleep.
A long and miserable night was ahead...
