In O'Neal Tech, Cody, Starlee, Donnie and Cath were all in the lab, working on a panel each. A device shaped like weird shaped cube called Temporal Controller hovered and floated around over a panel device. (Cath was on Starlee's left)
"What's the reading?" Cody asked, wearing goggles.
"Two-hundred and fifty." Starlee replied.
"Take it up to three-sixty." Cody instructed.
"Are you sure?" Starlee asked.
"Yeah, that sounds dangerous." Cath agreed.
"We've got to chance it, sis." Donnie argued, jumping towards the others. "If this temporal controller fails while we're in the time window, our molecules could wind up scattered from here to the big bang."
"And then you'd be big time drekked." Cody said.
"Well, if you're sure about this." Cath sighed.
Cody turned and moved his finger along his control panel, lighting it up, powering up the controller.
"Here we go." he said.
The controller began spinning at hyperspeed, as it was hard to keep track of it.
"We're losing stability. Shut it off!" Starlee cried, approaching Cody.
A control panel near them, making them duck slightly, before Cath and Donnie ran towards him.
"Get down!" Donnie said.
"Move!" Cath yelled.
She grabbed Starlee, as Donnie grabbed Cody, then threw themselves to the floor, covering their friends with their bodies, before the controller exploded. They all got up and looked at where it had been, seeing only smoke coming from it.
"You guys okay?" Cath asked.
"Yeah, I think so, but I don't think the temporal controller is." Cody sighed, taking his goggles off.
They all turned as the door opened, and the other Turtles came in, Mikey carrying a bag of popcorn.
"Whoa, must have been some party." Mikey said.
"This is not funny, Mikey!" Cath scowled. "And this isn't a party!"
Donnie and Cody both turned to where the controller had been.
"To let that much energy pass through the controller, we'll need a super low-density alloy." Donnie realized.
"Like Donatellium?" Cody suggested.
"Donna what?" Donnie inquired.
"Donatellium. You invented it." Cody explained.
He pressed a button on his wrist controller, bringing up a schematic.
"I mean, you will invent it." he corrected, as Donnie came over to look. "It's a low-density alloy that can only be created in a natural low gravity environment. Like, on the Moon."
"Hmm. With some minor alterations to the subatomic structure, it just might work." Donnie hoped.
"I know what'll work." Mikey said.
Everyone turned to him, seeing he was standing near the transcendental lathe.
"Major alterations to Raph's ugly atomic structure." he said. "Hop into this transcendental lathe thingy, bro'."
"You shouldn't be messing with that, Mikey." Raph warned, pointing at him.
"Yeah. You keep your hands off that!" Cath scowled, folding her arms. "You don't know how to work that thing!"
"Relax, I know what I'm doing, sis." Mikey assured.
He placed his hands on the lathe's control globe.
"You think it, the machine makes it." he said, as a small holographic panel popped up near the globe. "Smile, Raph!"
Raph snarled, before the lathe fired up, making Mikey laugh about what he was creating. Donnie facepalmed himself with embarrassment, while Cath sighed and shook her head, as Cody and Starlee watched with their eyes wide. Leo looked shocked, while Elisa frowned, before the lathe was done, then Mikey chuckled ad picked up his masterpiece, a puppet of Raph, which was a waist up double, a lower frowning jaw, and crossed arms.
"See? A perfect likeness." he said, before he held it up before Raph and made its mouth move. "Hi, I'm Raphael. I hate the future."
Raph growled and tried to grab the puppet, but Mikey pulled it away.
"Better you than me, Raph." Elisa sighed.
"Anyway, to ensure that the time window functions stably, we could customize the Donatellium." Cody explained. "But that can only be done in a low gravity environment."
"Okay, sure, then we'll just book a flight to the Moon then." Leo said sarcastically, moving his right hand upwards. "No problem."
"It's actually not if you happen to own an O'Neil Tech shuttle, which we do." Cody explained.
Leo and Donnie both stared at him with their mouths open, while Cath smiled.
"Guys, in this time, space travel is pretty common." she reminded them. "Remember that shuttle we tried to catch Zixx on?"
"Yeah, you're right." Leo said, as he and Donnie grinned.
Raph, Elisa and Mikey all ran towards them.
(Elsewhere)
Darius watched them all on a monitor from a security camera in his limo, which moved along a highway road.
"Fantastic!" Donnie said.
"You have a space shuttle?" Raph inquired.
"We'll have that time window..."
"And actually shuttle to take us to the moon?" Elisa asked.
"Awesome." Mikey said.
"...up and running in no time." Donnie said.
"Time window?" Darius muttered, intrigued. "My little genius built a functioning time machine? Fantastic indeed."
He laughed as the limo moved towards Cody's penthouse.
Later, in the penthouse, Serling, Cody and the Turtles were all in the sitting room.
"Yo, Serling, did you pack the golf clubs?" Mikey asked, carrying puppet Raph on his shell.
"I thought this was a scientific expedition." Serling inquired.
"It is. I wanna see how much whim-wham I need to whack a ball into orbit, like Neil Armstrong did." Mikey said, pretending to whack a ball with a golf club.
"That was Alan Shephard, you goofball!" Cath scowled.
"Uh, oops. My mistake." Mikey said nervously.
"Well, well. Going somewhere, my boy?" Darius asked, entering the room.
"Uh, the guys and I are going to the Moon." Cody explained.
"As your legal guardian, I absolutely forbid it." Darius said sternly, taking out his cell phone.
He dialled a number and put it to his ear.
"Hoskins, cancel the moon shuttle flight-" he ordered, before Leo snatched the phone from him from behind. "Ah!"
"Hold it." Leo said, as Darius turned around. "Serling, who owns that shuttle?"
"O'Neil Technologies." Serling answered.
Darius tried to grab the phone, but Leo pulled it away, then tossed it to Donnie.
"And who owns O'Neil Tech?" Donnie asked, catching it.
"Technically, Master Cody does." Serling answered.
"Then technically we're out of here." Mikey said.
Darius reached to grab the phone from Donnie, who tossed it to Mikey.
"But..." he began, turning to Mikey.
He tried to grab the phone from him, but he tossed it to Raph.
"Don't worry, we'll keep an eye on the kid. He's like a brother to us." Raph assured, glancing at Mikey. "One we actually like."
"But I-" Darius began.
"Don't worry, Darius, Cody'll be safe with us." Elisa promised. "We won't let him out of our sight."
"He'll be back safe and sound." Cath assured.
Raph tossed the phone to Darius, who caught it, before Mikey held up the puppet in front of Darius' face.
"We'll bring you some green cheese." he promised through the puppet. "Ciao."
He made the puppet kiss Darius.
"Bleh!" he said, disgusted.
He wiped his mouth and coughed, before he growled, but saw the Turtles and Cody had vanished.
"Ah!" Serling gasped.
Darius turned away from him, thinking.
"Actually, some Cody free time might be just what I need." he decided.
That night, Darius was in the storage facility he had stashed the stasis pods holding the Inuwashi Gunjinn. He held up a remote control stick, then pressed a button on it, making sparks fly out of one of the pods, which Leader punched out of it, before he jumped and landed on his feet.
"Ah, the sweet air of freedom. It's been too long." he said.
The other pods cracked open, then Hothead punched out of his, followed by Sage, Marrow, Razor, then Joker, who kicked out of his. They all hopped out and landed on their knees, before they got up and growled, then Joker and Marrow jumped and flew up. They began bending a pipe each, while Sage lifted up a box and threw it away, while Hothead began punching another, as Razor clawed at another.
"Save your ire for Darius Dunn, he is the one who holds the keys to our shackles." Leader reminded them.
Darius stepped out of the shadows behind him.
"Quite right, Gunjin, and don't you forget it." he hissed, making them all turn to him - Marrow and Joker landing on the floor. "How the mighty have fallen."
"Argh, Dunn." Leader hissed.
"Careful, Gunjin, or I'll put you back where I found you." Darius warned, as they approached him.
"What do you want, Dunn?" Leader demanded.
"I have an experimental stealth shuttle standing by to launch. I want you to intercept my nephew and his pets in space." Darius explained, as Leader got behind him. "He's heading towards the Moon."
Hothead came up behind him.
"See that they don't return before I'm finished getting the plans I need from little Cody's computer. And if they don't return at all, well, fortunes of war." Darius smirked.
"Why should we?" Leader hissed.
"Simple." Darius answered, holding up a hand-held controller.
He pressed a button on it, shocking the Inuwashi Gunjin.
"AHHH!" they screamed, falling to the floor, Joker on his back, the rest on their chests.
"Electronic scramblers, implanted deep inside your cerebral cortexes, and due to the stasis generators I fixed upon you, I can activate it anytime I choose." Darius explained. "Don't you see, they let me monitor and control you at will. Any other questions?"
"Ugh. We will obey your commands." Leader sighed, reluctantly, getting to his knees.
He gritted his teeth, as he didn't like being Darius' slave, and neither did his friends.
That night, at the Moonport, the Turtles and Cody were in the O'Neil Tech shuttle, which cruised down the runway channel towards the howitzer gravity lift, which it then entered. Raph and Mikey sat beside each other, with Cody in front of them, while Leo and Elisa sat on the other side, with Donnie in front of them, Cath behind them.
"T minus fifteen seconds and counting." said a man in Mission Control.
"So who's driving this rust bucket?" Raph asked, as they strapped in.
"Auto somebody." Mikey guessed.
"Auto commander. It's an integrated navigation program." Cody explained, motioning to the empty front seats.
"You mean nobody's actually up there?" Raph exclaimed.
"Nobody's up there?" Mikey said, making the puppet speak. "Who's gonna give me my complimentary beverage and fluff my pillow?"
"Oh, brother." Elisa sighed, facepalming herself.
"Ignition." Mission Control said.
Four beams hit the shuttle, surrounding it with blue energy, before it shot up the tube and out of the Moonport, sending it into outer space and towards the Moon. Once near the Moon, it slowed down, allowing Donnie to peer through the window and stare at the surface.
"Would you look at that. It's magnificent." he said happily, before he spotted a large building. "Hmm. What's that green structure?"
Cath and Cody came up on either side of him.
"That's where we're going. Moonbase Bishop, on the shore of the Sea of Tranquility." Cody explained.
"Hah! Bishop and tranquility in the same sentence. What a concept." Donnie said.
"You can say that again?" Cath said sarcastically, folding her arms, for she still hadn't believe Bishop had really changed from their time.
"Is that really water down there, Cody?" Leo asked, coming up beside Cath.
Mikey and his puppet began to float weightlessly behind them, Mikey with his hands behind his back, and his left leg crossed over.
"Yeah, it's called terraforming. Science tech-" Cody began, before something slammed into the shuttle. "Uh!"
"AH!" Mikey yelped, as he and the puppet fell.
"What was that? A meteorite?" Leo exclaimed.
Donnie and Cody floated over towards the front seats.
"I don't know. Let me check the space field scanner." Donnie said.
He took a seat as the ship got hit again, by the sound of a laser this time.
"That was no meteorite." Donnie realized, looking at the montior, which had blips on. "We're under attack! Cody, take evasive maneuvers quick!"
A spacecraft chased the shuttle while firing lasers at it, as the shuttle began to twirl around, before it got hit.
"Ah!" Donnie and Cody flinched, sitting in the cockpit seats.
"Thrusters aren't responding! We're stuck!" Cody exclaimed.
The shuttle stopped moving and floated helplessly, before the attacking ship hovered over, and then landed on top of it.
"Ah!" the Turtles and Cody yelped, wobbling slightly.
Cody looked up as Leo and Cath approached him, before they looked up, as Mikey flinched nervously, holding the puppet under his arm. Raph and Elisa both moved forward, when they heard a noise from outside on top of the shuttle, before they turned around and saw something cutting through the ceiling.
"This can't be good." Raph said.
"As they say in the movies, we're being boarded." Elisa said.
The others gathered behind them as the laser cut a square panel on the ceiling, before it fell into the shuttle, and the Inuwashi Gunjin landed on the floor, first Leader, then Hothead, Marrow, Sage, Razor, then Joker.
"There's no place to run." Leader said.
They looked around, seeing no sign of the Turtles or Cody. Leader and Sage approached the front, where Mikey and Cody were hiding behind a seat. Mikey put a finger to his lips, when Sage looked behind the seat, before Mikey darted out and plowed his shoulder and the puppet against him, knocking him back towards, then Leo kicked him with both feet, knocking him down.
Hothead turned around, before he and Razor charged forward, with Joker and Marrow right behind them, before Donnie whacked Joker with his Bo, while Cath hit Marrow with her right Tonfa, knocking them back. Raph got behind Joker and grabbed him, before he threw him over him, hitting the floor on his back, while Elisa spun around and tackled Marrow, knocking him down beside Joker.
"Inuwashi Gunjin. Long time no pummel." Raph said. "What happened, tweety, run out of birdseed?"
"Or you lose your birdhouse and are searching for a new one out here in outer space?" Elisa joked.
Joker growled and fired lasers from his shoulders, while Marrow did the same from his wings. The blasts hit the area near Raph and Elisa, making them turn and run away, before they hid behind a chair.
"Don't shoot, you fools!" Leader scowled.
Joker and Marrow fired again, but Donnie's Bo and Cath's Tonfa deflected them, before the two Turtles turned and hid behind a chair each.
"This is a pressurized cabin." Leader said.
Marrow and Joker kept firing, hitting one of the windows near Donnie and Cath, putting a hole in the glass.
"AHH!" everyone yelped.
The vacuum of space began to pull on the window, forcing the Turtles to grab a chair each, while the Inuwashi Gunjin dug their claws into the floor. Cody held onto Mikey's arm - who held his puppet on his shell - dangling his legs around.
"Ah!" Cody yelped.
The Gunjin continues firing despite the command and hits one of the windows, blowing out the glass. The air inside the shuttle rushes out of the opening, taking anything that's loose out with it, including the people inside. The Inuwashi Gunjin dig their claws into the floor. Michelangelo hangs onto a seat and Cody clings to his arm.
"To the escape pod!" Cody said.
He pointed to a round door labeled 'Pod 1', before Mikey threw him towards the door. He grabbed it and pressed the control, opening it up, then he pulled himself inside. Mikey took out one of his Nunchucks and held it over his shoulder, turning to the others.
"Donnie, catch!" he called, flinging it over.
It stretched out towards Donnie and Cath, before Donnie caught it.
"Got it!" he said.
Cath grabbed his arm as Mikey retracted his Nunchuck, pulling them both towards him. As they pass by Raph and Elisa, Raph took Donnie's hand, while Elisa took Cath's spare one, then when they passed Leo, he grabbed Donnie's ankle, before they all hit the floor on their shells near the escape pod.
"Ah!" they yelped.
"Uh!" Raph groaned.
Donnie got up, before Cody helped him into the escape pod, before Cath and Elisa crawled in, followed by Raph and Leo. Joke and Marrow both looked up, before they fired a laser, but missed as Mikey got into the escape pod. He turned and waved, before the door closed, as Joker and Marrow fired again, hitting the door.
"They've escaped! Abandon the ship!" Leader ordered.
In the escape pod, Cody pulled a lever down, which detached it from the shuttle. It flew away, as the Inuwashi Gunjin ship also moved away, just before the shuttle blew up.
Meanwhile, in Cody's penthouse, Darius was in the lab, typing frantically on the computer.
"Where is it, boy? Where are you hiding that wonderous time window?" he wondered.
Serling suddenly stepped in from Darius' right.
"Oh, I wasn't expecting to see you, sir." he said, taken aback.
"Nor will you be remembering me." Darius said coldly.
He took out a device from his pocket and pressed a button on it.
"AH!" Serling gasped, as sparks came out of his head, then he fell onto his chest.
"Now, then, where was I?" Darius asked himself.
He pressed a button on the computer, then a hologram of Donnie appeared.
"Dude, it's not cool to stick your nose into someone else's stuff." it said.
"Blasted firewall." Darius cursed, clutching his fist.
"We engaged the Turtles, but they escaped with the boy. Our ship is damaged." he explained.
(Gunjin ship)
The Inuwashi Gunjin stared at a hologram of Darius.
"Failure is not an option. Do you understand, you winged relic?" Darius threatened.
"There was a time when words like that would…." Leader began.
"And that time is passed." Darius cut in.
His hologram vanished, making Leader growl angrily and turn to his men.
Meanwhile, the escape pod flies over the moon's surface.
Back in outer space, the escape pod flew down towards the Moon's surface.
"Now what, geniuses?" Raph asked.
Cody sat in the pilot's seat, fiddling with the controls, while Leo, Raph and Elisa sat on his left, Donnie, Cath and Mikey on his right.
"Now, hold onto your shells and prepare to land." Cody advised.
"More like crash land!" Raph yelled.
The escape pod hit the surface of the Moon and bounced along it, before began spinning around while doing so.
"OHHH!" everyone yelled. "OHHH!"
The escape pod kept bouncing along the surface, before it skidded to a stop.
Inside, Mikey was kneeling before the puppet, thinking it was the real Raph.
"Oh, no. The horror. The horror!" he cried, covering his eyes with his left hand. "He was so young. Poor Raph."
The real Raph and Elisa both came up behind him.
"I'm sorry for all those times I called you fat head and fat butt and fat…." Mikey said.
Raph cleared his throat, making Mikey turn around, seeing Raph and Elisa frowning at him, with their arms folded. Mikey picked up the puppet as he got up, then it flopped down, before he grinned and turned around and put it behind him.
"He may pull through." he said, touching his head.
"So, where are we?" Leo asked.
He, Cody and Cath looked out the window, as Donnie looked at a map on his gauntlet computer.
"I'm guessing the sea of tranquility, site of the first lunar landing." Donnie deduced.
He pointed at an American flag, part of a landing module, and lots of footprints.
"Those are Neil Armstrong's footprints right there. If we weren't being hunted by deadly flying crazies, this might be one of the coolest moments in my entire life." Donnie said.
"You and me both, Don." Cath agreed. "That's a historic landmark."
"The Moonbase must be a couple of miles over there." Leo deduced, pointing forward, as Cody moved to the control panel. "Can we send out a distress signal?"
Cody began typing on the panel.
"The radio's out. So is the power." he sighed.
A hissing sound made the Turtles look up, seeing their mask tails floating upwards.
"And we're leaking air, fast." Donnie panicked.
"And this shuttle has no spacesuits!" Cath gasped.
Cody opened up a cupboard and took out several packets labeled 'Emergency PLV'.
"Here, we'll use these PLVs." he said.
The Turtles approached him and took one each.
"PLVs?" Raph questioned.
"Uh, Cody, what exactly does that mean?" Elisa asked, puzzled.
Cody ripped the top off his packet with his teeth, then took out a small device attached to an arm band.
"Personal Life Vestibules." he explained, sliding his down his left arm. "They use a force field to create a temporary atmosphere envelope around you."
He pressed the button, then was surrounded by a blue glow.
"See?" he said.
All but Raph slide their PLVs up their arms, who touched the glow surrounding Cody.
"Temporary?" he questioned, sliding his on. "We gotta cross two miles of airless wasteland in temporary? No way."
He folded his arms, before one of Joker's and Razor's claws dug into the roof and began to claw a hole in.
"Whoa!" Raph yelped, ducking down, and activating his PLV. "Last one out is a Gunjin egg!"
Outside, Leader, Sage and Marrow all flew down towards the escape pod, then landed near the door, as Hothead landed on the roof. Leader and Sage approached the door, when Leo kicked it down while clinging to the doorframe, knocking it onto them both, knocking them down onto Marrow, knocking them all down. He then swung forward, lifting his feet up, wrapping his ankles around Hothead's neck, before tossing him away, then he flipped and landed on the roof. He bent down and grabbed Cody's wrists, then he pulled him up and over, throwing him towards Joker and Razor, knocking them away.
"Ah!" Cody yelled, as he began to float off.
The other Turtles - expect Mikey - came out of the shuttle and stared at Leo.
"Keep Cody between us!" Leo ordered.
Donnie and Raph both jumped up high and caught hold of Cody, bringing him down to the ground as they landed. Leo turned and ran off, before Elisa and Cath jumped after Raph and Donnie, as Mikey stepped into the doorway, just as the Inuwashi Gunjin rose up and fired at him.
"Aah!" he screamed, holding his arms up.
Leo grabbed his arms as the blasts missed him, then he tossed Mikey over the escape pod.
"AH!" he yelped.
He landed crouched down on Joker's chest, before he jumped away, then Leo jumped and landed on Joker's back as he turned around.
"OH!" Joker moaned.
Leo jumped away as the escape pod blew up, then Joker and Razor pulled themselves up, before they and their friends all began jumping after the Turtles and Cody.
"Woo-hoo!" Mikey whooped.
The Inuwashi Gunjin flew after them all, as they jumped along the surface.
"They are protecting the boy when it would be so easy to abandon him." Leader noticed.
"Yeah." Marrow agreed. "I wonder why?"
Donnie, Raph and Cody all jumped and began skidding down a gorge, followed by Elisa and Cath, then Leo and Mikey.
"There! Head for that hatch!" Donnie said, spotting it ahead of them.
They all leap towards the hatch, then Donnie used his Bo to pry it open. Raph and Cody jumped in, followed by the girls, then Mikey and Donnie, and then Leo, who pulled the hatch shut behind him.
"Whoa!" he yelled, sliding down a long pipe.
He landed with his knees bent at the end, where the others were waiting, all now with the PLVs turned off. Mikey pulled the puppet off his shell and looked at it.
"Are you okay, little Raphie?" he cooed, petting its head. "Did the bad birdie scare you?"
"You are so cracked." Raph grumbled.
"He sure is." Elisa agreed, annoyed.
They all began walking down the tunnel, seeing frost and snow along the ceiling.
"Must be an old construction tunnel. If we follow it, it should lead us right to the Moonbase." Donnie hoped.
They kept on walking, but saw an intersection ahead of them.
"Or at least one of these paths will." Cody corrected.
"We'll have to split up, but keep your vidcomms open. Raph, Elisa and Mikey, take the left path." Leo instructed.
He, Cath, Donnie and Cody turned right and walked down the tunnel, while Raph, Elisa and Mikey took the left one, all turning their vidcomms on as they did so.
"I totally get the splitting up strategy, but how come we get the darker, creepier tunnel?" Mikey wondered nervously.
"Hey, you're scared? Hug your dollie." Raph advised.
He walked on as the others stopped.
"Maybe I will, 'cause unlike you, little Raph's a real friend." Mikey said.
"Oh, will you two save this for later?" Elisa asked, annoyed. "Now's not the time."
Unknown to the pair, Sage and Marrow were above them both in the shadows, hanging upside down like a pair of bats. They both reached down for the Turtles, just as Raph turned around.
"Mikey, Ellie, look out!" Raph yelled.
He leaped and pushed his siblings down, before both Inuwashi Gunjins jumped down and landed in front of them.
"I take it back, you're a friend!" Mikey said.
"Nice save, bro." Elisa remarked.
"Thanks, sis." Raph said.
Sage and Marrow both came towards the Turtles, who all got up and ran down the tunnel.
Down the other tunnel, Cody was kneeling in front of a panel, while Donnie and Cath watched him. Leo meanwhile, was monitoring his vidcomm, but couldn't get a clear signal.
"Raph, you're breaking up." Leo said. "There's some kind of interference."
"It's the walls. They're lined with Donatellium." Cody explained. "The good news is, the sensors indicate we're headed the right way."
Raph, Elisa and Mikey all came running past them.
"Great, 'cause we sure as shell weren't!" Raph said.
All six Inuwashi Gunjin flew down the tunnel towards them.
"There they are. Intercept them!" Leader commanded.
"Gunjin! Move, move!" Leo yelled.
He, Donnie and Cath all ran down the tunnel, but when Cody turned to follow them, he slipped on some ice and fell down onto his chest.
"AH!" he yelped. "Oh!"
"We can finish it! Now!" Leader said.
He dived towards Cody, followed by the others, who turned to them all.
"AHH!" he screamed. "Help!"
The Turtles all stopped and turned around.
"Cody!" Raph gasped.
"NOOO!" Cath cried, covering her mouth.
Raph took out his Sais and threw them at Leader, zipping past his face, making him stop. The Sais hit and cut open puncture pipes on either side of the tunnel, causing steam to come out, and water to shot and hit Leader from both sides.
"AH!" he yelped.
Leo and Cath both reached down for and grabbed Cody, then pulled him you.
"Cody, you okay?" Cath asked.
"Yeah. Thanks." Cody said.
They all turned and ran off, as Raph caught his Sais, then he turned and followed them.
Hothead and Sage flew towards Leader and grabbed him, before they flew down and put him on his feet, as Marrow landed behind them.
"Again, they protect the boy despite the fact that he is a liability to them. Truly honorable." Leader noted.
"Indeed." Marrow agreed. "They've been taught well by the looks of it."
A little later, the Turtles and Cody reached a wide junction room, where on one side, was a large pool of water.
"This is crazy. I say we stand and fight." Raph said, taking his Sais out.
"And how do you expect to beat those birdbrains in a place like this?" Elisa asked, folding her arms.
"I've got a better idea; might buy us some time, though we'll be making a colossal sacrifice." Mikey said, hopping onto Raph's shell, wrapping his arms around him.
"Oh, this should be good." Raph said, raising his arms up, knocking Mikey onto his behind.
"Yeah, we'll see, little brother." Elisa teased.
The Inuwashi Gunjin soon flew down the tunnel and entered the junction, landing crouched down. Hothead put his largest hand to the ground, picking up a sent with it.
"They've been this way." he said.
They all approached the pool of water, before Leader held his arms out, stopping the others, seeing a shadow in the water.
"Listen?" he said.
"I'd like to see those featherheads try something." Mikey called from around the corner.
"That way, Gunjin, attack!" Leader commanded.
They all jumped and flew around the corner over the pool, but then stopped.
"What?" Leader exclaimed.
Sitting in front of the light source was the puppet, which had its fists on its hips.
"What kind of trick is this? Where are they?" Leader exclaimed.
The Turtles all suddenly jumped out of the water.
The four turtles suddenly spring up out of the water.
"It's Ninja time!" Mikey yelled.
They all slammed into one of the Inuwashi Gunjins each, Raph kicking Leader, Leo Joker, Elisa Razor, while Donnie rammed his Bo against Sage, while Cath slammed her Tonfas against Marrow's chest, while Mikey landed and wrapped his arms around Hothead.
"Ah!" he yelped, as Hothead flew off.
Donnie and Sage both landed on the floor, then rolled away while grappling with each other, while Joker hit the back wall, then fell to his knees. He got up as Leo landed his feet against the wall, then dived to slash Joker, but missed as he jumped away, before he jumped after him. Razor hit the floor on his back, then got up and rolled to his right as Elisa tried to slash him, making her miss, before he blocked her right Kama with his left claw, locking them together as they moved away. Marrow hit the floor with Cath on top of him
Leader hit his back against the wall, then landed on his feet, before Raph landed in front of him.
"When are you guys gonna get it?" Raph asked, jumping up as Leader tried to hit him with his wings.
He landed behind Leader, who turned to slash him with his right wing, but missed as he ducked.
"The moon, the Earth, it doesn't matter." Raph said, before he locked his Sais with Leader's claw. "The kid stays with us."
Leader lifted his claw up, pulling Raph up as he flew towards the ceiling.
Elisa blocked Razor's right claw with her left Kama, then she ducked as he tried to claw her with his left one, before she jumped and back flipped away, kicking his jaw, knocking him back slightly. She landed crouched down, before he charged at her, then she leap-frogged over him, then kicked his back with both feet, knocking him against a wall.
"OH!" he moaned.
Cath dodged and rolled to her left as Marrow tried to grab her, before he turned to her, then she slashed her right Tonfa across, shooting a beam which hit his chest.
"Ah!" he moaned, stumbling back. "Sneaky move."
"Oh, like you guys haven't tried that before!" Cath retorted.
She jumped and kicked her feet against a wall, before she pounced towards him with her Tonfas in front of her, hitting his chest hard, knocking him onto his back, before she jumped away.
Donnie stood face to face with Sage, who jumped up as he spun around to whack him with his Bo. Sage flipped backwards through the air, then flew down towards Donnie, who balanced on his Bo, then kicked Sage's chest with both feet, knocking him against a wall, before Donnie landed crouched down.
Leo blocked Joker's right claw with his sword, then ducked as Joker tried to claw him, scratching the wall, then he ducked as Joker tried again. Leo ducked and rolled forward as Joker came at him, going between his legs, as Joker got his claws wedged into the wall. He tossed his right sword up, which spun around and sliced a chain on a large metal panel, which began swinging down. He flipped on top of it, before it slammed into the wall as Joker turned around, then he jumped off it and turned around, as the cracked open where Joker had clawed at, causing the wall to fall onto him.
Mikey laughed as he rode Hothead down towards Leo, holding one of his Nunchucks near his neck. Joker roared and free himself from the rubble, knocking it away, when Mikey jumped off Hothead, making him slam into Joker, knocking them both down.
"AH!" they moaned.
Leo and Mikey both turned around, as Leader flew down with Raph, going over the pool, before he threw Raph down towards a wall.
"AHH!" he yelled, before he hit and smashed a crate. "Ah!"
Cody peeked out from behind another crate, as Leader landed near Raph and picked him up, before he spotted Cody. He threw Raph down, then approached Cody and grabbed him by the shirt, lifting him up.
"Ah!" Cody yelped.
Raph got up and tried to pounce on Leader from behind, but Leader kicked him aside, making him slam into Donnie.
"OH!" they moaned.
They both hit the floor together, Raph smashing another crate as he did.
"NOO!" Cath cried, turning to them.
She ran over to them, as Leader turned and flew towards the ceiling with Cody.
"Help!" he cried.
Cath reached Donnie and Raph, as they got up, before they all turned to Cody and Leader.
"Cody!" Donnie yelled.
He stood on the edge of a flat board that was under a pipe, before Raph jumped and landed on the other end, flinging Donnie upwards. He landed on cable looped from the ceiling, then springed off it, then grabbed an overhead grate. He kicked Leader with both feet, while Cody reached for the end of his Bo but missed, making Leader fall onto another looped cable.
"AH!" Cody yelled.
He turned and landed on the other end of the cable, then rolled off and clinged to it, dangling over the water. Leader flew up and swung his claw at Donnie, who released the grate and fell onto another cable, before Leader turned and sliced it with his claw. Donnie fell down onto the cable near Cody, as water began to shoot through the holes Leader had made in the ceiling. It widened the holes, making it gush down into the tunnel, washing Donnie and Cody into the pool.
"AHH!" Cody yelled.
Leo backed away as Joker tried to claw him, while Hothead held up his big hand in front of Mikey, before they turned to the pool
Elisa dodged as Razor tried to claw her, before they both turned to the pool.
Donnie gasped as he surfaced from the pool, panting hard.
"Cody!" he cried.
Raph and Cath both dived into the pool, followed by Mikey and Leo, then Elisa, and then Donnie dived down. They all swam down to the bottom, finding Cody pinned under a large stone pillar. Donnie put his Bo near it, then began to pry it up, as the others did so with their hands, but it wouldn't move as it was too heavy. Leo then tried cutting it with a sword, but he didn't even scratch it. Raph turned to Mikey and Elisa, who both turned and nodded, knowing they needed help, no matter who it was from. They all swam up towards the surface as Leo tried his sword again, before they gasped and turned to the Inuwashi Gunjin, who looked down at them.
"Please, help us!" Mikey begged.
"He's trapped under the water!" Raph explained.
"We can't free him ourselves!" Elisa added frantically.
The Inuwashi Gunjin all stared at them, not moving, before the Turtles dived back under. Leo kept trying his sword on the pillar, with Raph and Elisa now stabbing it with their weapons, as the others kept trying to lift it up. Leader suddenly dived into the water and sliced the pillar in half as he flew over it, shocking the Turtles, before he turned around and stared at them all. Sage and Hothead both landed on either side of the pillar, followed by Marrow and Razor, cracking it open with their feet, before they jumped away. Joker landed and lifted two sections up, then threw them away, before Donnie and Cath grabbed Cody and began swimming to the surface, then the other Turtles all followed them.
On the surface, Cath and Donnie both dragged Cody away, before they lay him on the ground
"Come on, Cody." Donnie said.
The other Turtles got out of the water, before Cath checked Cody's pulse, horrifying her as she couldn't find one.
"Guys, give me some room?" she asked, motioning with her hands. "He needs air."
Donnie leaned back as the others moved away, before she began pressing her hands against Cody's chest.
"Come on, Cody? Please be alright?" she begged sadly.
Cody started coughing, making her stop.
"Cody?" she said.
"I'm okay." Cody sighed, opening his eyes.
"Phew, that was a close one." Leo said relived.
The Inuwashi Gunjin all flew up out of the water, getting their attention, before the Turtles took out their weapons.
"Well, let's get on with it." Leo said.
"Our fight is over. Thank you for reminding us what honor looks like." Leader said.
"What? Ain't you gonna hit us? Not even Mikey?" Raph questioned.
"Hey!" Mikey said, offended.
"Sounds like when we first met Traximus." Cath muttered.
"Yeah. I'm starting to think these guys weren't doing all this willing." Elisa whispered.
Debris began to come down from the ceiling.
"The tunnels are filling fast. You must leave." Leader said.
"But what about you guys?" Mikey asked, the Turtles now with their weapons away.
Sage grabbed a large metal panel from a nearby stack, followed by Hothead, Joker, Marrow and Razor. They all held them up as the Turtles and Cody backed away into a side tunnel, before Leader flew down behind Sage.
"Now we will show you what honor looks like. Go, hurry! You don't have much time." he said.
The Turtles and Cody all turned and ran off down the tunnel.
"Quick, the escape elevator's this way!" Donnie said frantically.
Sage, Hothead and Joker landed on the floor and held up their metal panels, with Marrow and Razor over Hothead and Joker respectfully.
"We must contain the water, my brothers, if only for a few seconds!" Leader said, doing the same over Sage.
More water began to come into the room, as they kept it back with the panels, before the weight of it knocked them all down.
Leo ran into the elevator - where his siblings and Cody were - then turned around before the door closed, then the water filled up the tunnel.
In Cody's penthouse, Darius had been monitoring the action on the computer, seeing the water filled room, before the screen went blank.
"What? No! The stasis generators have short-circuited." he exclaimed, getting up, his fists above him. "I've lost my slaves!"
He turned and tossed the remote to the floor, then stomped on it in anger as he growled.
Suddenly, the monitor came back on, and Donnie's face appeared via hologram.
"Hey, Cody, welcome back. It's Ninja time!" it said.
Darius turned to the screen.
"Well, well, the day's not a total loss." he decided.
The time window schematic appeared on the screen.
"There it is, the time window." he said, before he laughed evilly.
Back on the Moonbase, the Turtles and Cody walked down a corridor with the number 25 on the back wall. On one side is wall of windows, allowing them to see the Moon surface.
"We made it." Mikey whooped.
Leo leaned against a window, as Raph fell to his knees.
"Thanks to the Inuwashi Gunjin." he said, as Mikey fell down beside him. "Man, guess it's never too late to change. I wonder what put them over?"
"If you ask me, I think they were being forced to do all this." Elisa guessed. "I kinda feel sorry for them."
"I agree." Cath sighed. "They were being treated like slaves, just like Traximus when we first met him."
"You maybe right, girls, but for now, I just hope they've gone to a better place." Leo said.
The others all came up beside him, all staring at the Moon surface. They suddenly said the Inuwashi Gunjun shooting up out of a pool of water outside, before they turned to the Turtles and Cody. Leader saluted with his right fist near his chest, then his friends did the same, before they all flew away over the corridor.
"You know, guys, I think they are going to a better place." Donnie said.
The Inuwashi Gunjin all flew off towards outer space, proud to be free of Darius control, and also for seeing the Turtles honor, which reminded them of themselves before their enslavement.
