Hey y'all if you have all read "From Smoky Mountains To Cambridge And Back" you all know I have been under the weather. Now I am trying to catch up. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for staying with me and reviewing. I appreciate each and everyone of you. I know you all get tired of me saying that but I truly do. Without you all there would be no reason for us to use our imagination and brainstorm a new chapter or start a new story. I love writing and reading all of your reviews. It makes my heart feel good and I know I am doing something right.
Chapter 25 Recap
Well the Open House was a success. Everyone is back at work and happy they have their job back. They all love working for Ana and the majority of the employees have been with her since she opened Steele Cuisine Baby Foods.
They did an interview and spoke about their employees with fond words and introduced their new employees. They took a walk through the plant and made sure everyone was happy. Talked about some new foods and juices that Ana wanted to incorporate in the company.
They also talked to the workers in the chemical plant and had a nice chat with Terrie in the glass plant.
They have a nice lunch with Joan and talk about an employee that needs to be moved up the ladder. He knows more than some know and he will benefit the company better.
They left the plant to go and check on what developments that Elliot was making on the houses. Everything is looking fantastic and Ana and Christian are very happy with the developments that Elliot is making.
Elliot started talking about nieces and nephews. He was referring to when Ana and Christian had babies. Elliot can't wait to be an uncle and neither can they wait to be parents but it will be a little while. They have a lot to do first then the little ones will come along.
They have been thinking of names for all the houses and I think she might have a few. We will see soon.
While there with Elliot Ana receives a call that there are two ladies with children that will be at the home for abused women and children after they all get out of the meeting with Mrs. Ralston. They leave and go over there with Elliot following to make sure the home is ready for them.
While they are at the house the women and children arrive a little later. They meet them and show them their rooms, the toys for the little ones and where all the food is for them. They show them around the house.
Ana and Christian both notice bruising on the women's faces and marks on their arms. They don't say anything and they see nothing on the children that is visible to the naked eye.
They leave and tell the ladies if they need anything to please let them know. They tell them they are safe, and there are security guards around and no one will bother them.
Ana is very upset about the bruising and the marks. She asked Christian if he saw the bruising and the marks. He told her he did but they didn't know what happened and why they had the marks.
She stood up to him and said Christian Trevelyan, don't stand there and tell me you don't know how the marks got there.
He said he could imagine how they got there but didn't know why they were there.
Do they know each other? We need to run one of your Deep Sea Dive Background checks on them.
As I said Ana is very distraught over this and she has a few hundred questions for Mrs. Ralston. She wants answers when she talks to her. She needs to know what is going on and how they can help the ladies and children.
So she goes home and starts her Deep Sea Diving on them and hopefully she can find something so they can help them have a better life. But first things first: Background Checks started and she needs to Mrs. Ralston. Then get some doctors and therapists in the house to talk to the women.
Chapter 26
"Hello Annie what's going on? I talked to Christian earlier and he didn't sound like himself. We talked for a few minutes. He said you were busy doing your Deep Sea Diving Background Checks but not on who."
"Hey daddy yes I have been stuck in my office trying to find information on the two ladies and children that are staying at the house for the abused. You know I really need to come up with a name for it."
"Well, is there anything I can help you with? You know I have the same programs as you do. I know the perfect name for this house. I will be over later and if you will give me their names we can double time this check."
"Yes I thought of that but I didn't want to ask. I know you are busy with other stuff."
"What other stuff?"
"Oh daddy come on do you not think I know you talked to some big wigs about helping sponsor our homes. I appreciate it very much and thank you."
"You know me so well don't you Annie Rose?"
"Yes daddy I do. Now if you want to help and have time I will send the names over to you. I am worried about the ladies and their children. Christian is quite too. I know it is bothering him."
"Yes I know and I spoke to Christian this morning he said you were beside yourself with what you saw. I believe that is weighing heavy on him. Have you talked to him about it? You know what I am talking about with what happened to him in his younger years."
"As I said we talked a little bit last night and he was ready to kill someone. He said he hoped the children were alright and wondered how long the women had been with the men. If they knew the men were like that before they got involved with them."
"Want me to talk to him? He always opens up with me. You know I can talk to him when no one else can."
"Yes daddy I know and it might be a good idea."
"Alright I'll come over and talk to him. Send me the names and if I find out anything before I leave I will let you and I am bringing my laptop."
"Ok thank you."
"Now how are you holding up? We got off track somehow. Oh yes we started talking about Christian."
"Yes daddy I was, it was sad and disturbing to see those marks and bruises on them women. I just wonder what those children saw before their mothers got them away. You know they had to be traumatized by seeing those places on their mothers. We didn't see any bruising on the children. Hopefully there was none under their clothes."
"Yes, let's pray there wasn't. Maybe they got away before the children got hurt. Did the children look like they were hurting or having trouble walking?"
"No, they were just shy at first and they are young. Alright I just sent their names to you. See you when you get here. I love you daddy."
"I love you too Annie."
"Hey angel, would you like a glass of sweet tea or water?"
"Hey my darlin yes a glass of sweet tea would hit the spot. Thank you."
"Here you go."
"Ah you knew what I needed."
"Yes love I did."
"I talked to daddy a while ago. He called me and said you talked to him this morning. He said you told him I was upset but didn't say why."
"Yes I did. I was worried about you after you saw those bruises and marks on their wrist yesterday. You were ready to commit murder. I figured Ray could talk you to and maybe help with these background checks. Did I overstep angel?"
"Oh no, no Boo you didn't. I appreciate you talking to him. Yes he is going to check also I sent him their names. I just hope and pray the children are alright."
"Yes I do too I know what it is like to be hurt at a young age or even as a teenager hell even an adult. That brought back some very disturbing times you know."
"Yes I am sure it did. I am here if you want to talk about anything. You know that right? I love you Christian."
"Yes I know and maybe later on the talk okay. I love you too, my angel."
"Of course sweetheart."
"Oh damn I got a hit. Hang on a second."
"Daddy are you still home?"
"Yes honey I was fixing to call you. I guess you got the hit just as I did. I'll be right over."
"Yes I did and we will see you when you get here. Drive carefully."
"Yes Annie I will."
"Ana what popped up?"
She motions for him to walk over to her laptop.
"Ok here is the background on Alyssa Thornton."
"Ok let's see what we got."

"Well that just tells us who they are and what they do for a living."
"Hold on Mr. Impatient. I am going to put his name in and see if we get a bite I am sure we will."
He laughs at what she called him.
"There is more coming. See the red light flashing in the top right corner like crazy?"
"Yes."
"Well that is letting us know it is processing more. I have a feeling we are about to uncover something very damaging.'
"Why do you say that? Oh never mind. Your gut instinct right?"
"That's right love. Have you ever heard his name before?"
'Not that I can recall. I know I never did business with him or his father."
"Okay, I was just asking."
"Yes and I know why you were asking. Just remember we all used another name in the clubs. We need a photo of him."
"Yes I remember you saying that but didn't you always wear a mask when you went with pedo bitch troll and later on your own?"
"Yes I did, I was underage and she said I had to hide my face. There were a lot of men there that didn't care to remain anonymous."
"Fucking bitch I hope she rots in prison. No, I pray someone gets her and beats her to death."
"That's daddy, will you let him in? Why in the world did he go and buy a loud ass truck like Elliot's?"
"He said he wanted a new truck. His old red at home in Atlanta has seen better days."
"Oh my god he is so right that truck is as old as I am if not older. It's a good farm truck that's about all it's worth now. I remember driving it out in the fields when he and grandma were either planting crops or bringing them in. I would play around in it until he yelled for me to come to them."
'Those were the good old days. I miss days like that."
"Well my dear child we can always plant a garden here or when you get the house built we can clear land behind it and plow it up and plant crops for you. But you can't take my new truck and play around."
He says laughing.
"Daddy when did you come in?"
"When you were reminiscing about my old truck."
He hugs her.

"I've better and I have my lovely angel here with me so i'm going to be alright "
"Yes I am sure you will."
"Daddy, we are waiting for more information to come up. The red light has been flashing like crazy ever since I put Damon Montgomery's name in the database."
"Ok well while we are waiting on his information. I have some very interesting information on Stanley McDonalds."
"Wait a minute Ray, isn't he one of the top Criminal lawyers in Portland?"
"Yes he is Christian and he has put away some very bad people. Look at this y'all while the other one is coming up. I just let mine run on the way here so it would snuff everything up."

"Damn daddy that doesn't mean shit look at all the lawyers and businessmen that pedo bitch had in her pocket. Not to mention the judges that were..let's say one foot in the grave already. That doesn't mean anything. I bet you dollars to donuts they all started early or the pedo bitch got them involved when they came to her clubs. She was good at blackmail or so she thought until she messed with me and mine."

"Yes Annie it is and look here this is where he is getting his money from."
"Bruton Sayers he is known for his casinos and gambling dens in Vegas that are illegal in the back rooms and um the ladies of the night. I guess you could say."
"Ok but why does he have a lawyer from Portland coming to Vegas to handle business for him? What am I missing here?"
"Well from what I know about him his father lives in Vegas with his mother. They both frequent the casinos but her husband plays in the back room. I have known this for years from my time being under surveillance for different agencies. I knew Albert for years when his son was just graduating from college and going to law school."
"So Sayers needs him there to handle some cases for him under the table. Well not under the table but to hide information so he can win his cases even though he is in the wrong. Then he pays McDonalds an exuberant amount of money to turn the other cheek. I just wonder how many people sued him and McDonalds got money for him by winning his cases?"
"You hit the nail on the head my dear."
"There is no telling angel but my guess is quite a few dozen if not more."
"Damn, why are people so sorry? I bet he pulls in good money every night from his customers. So why cheat? I'll tell you why because they are sorry S.O.B.s and don't care who they fu…screw over."
"Yes angel you are right and there are so many bad people in this world that the law can't take them all down."

"Oh my god what is that noise?"
"That is my Deep Sea Diving machine alerting us to some heavy shit. See how the red is flying and the blue isn't moving?"
"Yes I see all that now, explain it please."
"The red is fixin to push out more information and the blue is going to start spitting out pictures and a whole lot more."
Their eyes are glued to the printer.
"Wholly hell I hope you have enough paper in there? It is showing two hundred pages up top."
"Yes daddy I always make sure the printer and picture machines are full. You never know what is going to come through. Like right now."
They all sit there watching page after page fly out of the printer and then picture after picture come through scanning the faces on the recognition screen.
"Did I just see who I thought I saw? Did either of you see them?"
"What did you see angel?"
She looks at both of them.
"Daddy did you see them? Christian did you?"
'They popped up so fast I think I caught glimpses of faces. I think I saw what you are referring to but I'm not sure."
"Daddy tell me you saw them and I am not going crazy here? I swear it was the two pedophile bitches."
"Let's wait till they all come up okay. I am like Christian I got glimpses the same as him. You were staring at the screen pretty hard."
"Okayy… well did y'all see the last ones that just popped up?"
"Oh my lord, that was the judge from Seattle and that was the mayor when they both were in office a few years back."
"Alright that should be all of it. Call Barney and tell him I am sending some photos to his secure line that is hooked up to mine please. I need him and Welch to do face recognition on them. There are way too many for us to do."
"I'm on it angel."
"Hello Christian, how are you all tonight?"
"Hello Barney, we are good and how are you?"
"I am good but my secure line is going crazy from your lovely wife." he says laughing.
"Yes she wanted me to ask you and Welch to do some face recognition on some files she is sending you. There are way too many for just us to go through on our own."
"Tell Ana it is not a problem. I just sent a message to Welch and he is on his way here now. Tell her we will report back within the hour."
"Thank you Barney."
"He heard you."
"You are very welcome my lady."
"Alright talk soon and thank you both."
"Yes sir."
Ana pulls the pictures out of the photo machine and starts looking for the ones she saw and asked about.
"Oh damn I told you it was them. Look here y'all. Christian do you know these other women? You would have been a teen back then. Do you remember seeing them with pedo bitch or Grace around your house or at any of the galas?"
He looks at the pictures close up but can't place any of them except pedo one and pedo two.
"Not right off hand I can't place them but you know I told you I didn't socialize back then I tried to stay to myself and away from crowds. I hardly ever went to the galas when I was a teenager. I didn't start going to them until I came back from Harvard after I quit. Grace made me and Elliot go. Most of the time I was too sore to go but I had to go or get beat by the pedo bitch."
"I'm sorry my love I didn't mean to bring up bad times."
She has tears in her eyes.
"Come here baby girl you didn't know. I am alright now I have you in my life."
She turns in his arms and he holds her tight to him.

Ray is looking at some pictures.
"Oh my lord Annie I have seen these two women at Seattle Grace before all that mess started with Christian. I had to go in for a checkup. You know how the boss is. Anyway they are nurses in Seattle."
"Well damn hopefully we get their names. They were in their twenties in these photos I would say."
"Yes I think you are right. Put their faces on the screen please."
They look at the photos that Ana is putting on the screen and then their names show up and all the information from the time they were born until now.

"That's my guess, son. God I hate that woman."
"Look who is this woman? Linc is in this picture and what the hell is Dr. Greene doing there?"
"Do you know this other woman? Her name is Penny Riley."
"Nope, don't know her never saw her. I'm trying to figure out why Linc and Dr. Greene is there. I didn't think Linc knew about the BDSM dungeon and I didn't know Dr. Greene knew about this place either. Boy have I been in the dark all these years. Son of a bitch they all played me and played me well."
"Ok how the hell do you know this Dr. Greene?"
He hangs his head.
"Boo you can tell me. It's alright it's all over. Honey, we need to know so we can put an end to all of them. I am pretty sure they are all involved in what's been going on. You know we need to get to the bottom of this to help those kids."
"Christian I got word from the higher ups yesterday that there is a sex trafficking ring going on and they are picking up kids from eleven years old to fifteen years old and selling them to the black market. How do you know Dr. Greene? I am pretty sure she is involved like Annie said."
"She was the doctor I used for all my submissives. They all saw her for checkups and birth control. I am so damn stupid. Elena fucking Lincoln recommended Dr. Greene to me. She said Grace said she was the best."
Ana's phone is ringing.
"Be right back y'all it's ."
"Hello Mrs. Ralston how are you today? What can I do for you?"
"Hello Mrs. Trevelyan I am good and you my dear?"
"I am doing well, thank you."
"Mrs. Trevelyan it has come to my attention that the children that are at your safe house have been abused. I knew their mothers were because I saw the bruises and the marks on them. We did not take the time to check the children because the mothers said they had not been touched. Their children said no also."
"Mrs. Ralston may I ask how long you have been working for the Department Of Family And Children's Services?"
"I have been with them for twenty four Mrs. Trevelyan."
"Thank you ma'am. Now my question is why did you believe that the children had not been harmed. My lord, they are five, seven and eight years old. They are not going to tell you they have been abused or hurt, not with their mothers sitting there looking at them. I am not saying their mothers would like them but you should know after those kids saw their mothers being abused they are not going to speak up and say yes that man or that man hurt me."
Her voice is rising and they hear her.
"Annie, Ana what is all the yelling about?"
"The children that are at the safe house have been abused. Someone called and told Mrs. Ralston. She said she went by what the mothers and the children told her that they hadn't been hurt. This is unbelievable."
"Mrs. Ralston this is Christian Trevelyan where are the children now? We would like to see them and who is their doctor at the hospital?"
"They are at Charleston Children's Hospital room 265 children's ward. Their doctor is Dr. Betty Greene."
"Oh my god is she from Seattle, Washington? A short black lady with glasses?"
"Yes Mr. Trevelyan she is. Why are you asking me that?"
"Mrs. Ralston one last question is anyone with the children beside the doctor?"
"Yes we have a police woman in there and a one standing outside the door."
"Good, don't leave those children alone with the doctor. We will explain when we see you at the hospital. I assume you are on your way there now, am I correct?"
"Yes Mr. Trevelyan I will meet you all there."
