Konoha, 8 hours after Naruto's departure
Having worked in a rush, with an occasional stroke detail here and there, Harry managed to finish three seals repeatedly to his satisfaction. The Uzumaki clan seals were admittedly tough. The Fox inside him still asleep right now, he saw Hermione working on hers. Knowing full well she would stop him as well as the others, he set about sneaking out and going after his cousin.
His cousin helped him back in Hogsmeade, and Harry wanted to help him save this Gaara. Jiraiya was watching Hermione and correcting some of her mistakes. The teenager works on a plan. He would need his broom, his wand, his staff and some other things. But most importantly his dad's invisibility cloak. The only person from Konoha knowing he has it; Naruto had told him to keep it with him if went outside the boundaries of the village. And to not tell anyone else. Others might steal it to be used against them.
It was also so that he was protected from people who might see him and use him against Naruto. To a degree he has to admit having a bounty on your head equivalent to a quarter of a million pounds was something of an accomplishment for anyone and that was his cousin's. (The goblins had worked out an exchange rate when dealing with both currencies and the other banks in the village.)
Kind of made him wonder what his was here, that is if he had one. According to Tsunade, news had gotten out of his existence and relationship to Naruto, somehow. (He and Bill had to repair quite a few tables and chairs once she found out at one of the local bars.) Her and Shizune were still looking for who leaked his existence out to the other villages.
Shaking his head he was distracted, he got up and headed towards the stairs. Saying something about a break, both Hermione and Ron knew better. The pair were already figuring on going with him, as they had taken a liking to Naruto and Sakura. It was up to the twins and Jiriaya to keep Molly and Arthur from finding out til they had left.
With Charlie expected to come anytime now, as their parents greeted him, that would be the time to sneak out.
Following him up there, the two looked at their friend packing a bag real quick with scrolls and seals and slinging it over his shoulder. The other two watching as he grabs his broom, he turns to find them both standing there, Both with their own items including potions that Hermione had with her.
"We're going too mate."
"You shouldn't, this place isn't as safe as back in England," Harry stated firmly.
"We know." Hermione responded. "But they are our friends to Harry. We want to help them as well."
"Besides," Ron commented. " What if you need help before you even get there? You need some backup and Fred and George said take their brooms. With Charlie coming anytime now that should keep Mom and Dad busy for the next few hours."
"And Jiraiya-sensei says be careful and stay out of sight." Hermione added. " Fred and George had extra items they had on them including some Notice-me-not cloaks they invented."The girl replied. "We could use those."
Sighing even more as he looks at both, he nods his head in reluctance. Already opening the window, he is startled as TenTen and the others were leaping from roof to roof. The pretty girl pauses as she notices him and the other two leaving through a window. She whistles and makes a motion she will be there in a few. Neji, Lee and Gai-Sensei nodding their heads they continue move towards the tower, she leaps down,
"Hi Harry!"
"TenTen," his eyes shining for a moment, he seems a little flustered as he stares at her. But still determined to go after Naruto and the others. "I can't stay long. I will talk with you later, ok?" He states as helps Hermione and Ron get down quietly, the weapons specialist suspicious to say the least for a second as she spots the other two.
Considering how she was raised, she just nods her head in acceptance at it. But not without a little worry. "Ok, where's Kakashi-Sensei?"
"Waiting for us." Not really wanting to lie, the wizarding teen tells what the truth is essentially. The man was waiting for them, he just didn't know it. Knowing TenTen as the pretty girl gives him a dubious look, she looks at them and nods. "Don't forget what I taught you, Harry."
Smiling wide as he flusters under her gaze, the wizard teen nods his head in response. The weapons specialist happy with that, she leaps for the roof to head for the tower.
"You know I'm gonna let her know so you better hurry." She said casually before disappearing. Visibly gulping as he knows the girl well enough that she means it, he gets on his broom and gestures for the other two to follow him. Both confused for a second, he says one name.
"Tsunade…"
On their brooms the trio follows Harry out. Having studied a map at Tsunade's request, he knew the general direction to go. The reason for the map study was so that he always knew where to go in case of trouble. Which was of course their allies in Suna and various other villages. Knowing from Naruto's stories that Gaara was the Kazekage of the Sand village. That's where he headed. With the head start they had on him, he hoped he could catch up in time.
Naruto and the others might kill him for it…but Harry was not going to risk losing the only family he had left when he could help.

Knowing full well Naruto must be on a mission, TenTen has to give Harry credit. The two others she recognizes from pictures, she knew they could be in trouble. But knowing him, she knows that he will make sure they are all right until they find Naruto or the Hokage finds someone to go after them.
Preferably her team…
The thoughts of the green-eyed youth made her smile. He was sweet, brave, and a little foolhardy apparently as well. But he was loyal. Loyal to a fault as she knows he goes after Naruto. Arriving at the tower she joins Neji and Lee, who nodded their heads as Gai-sensei tells him something. Noticing the confused look, she is beckoned over by Lee who fills her in.
"TenTen, we have to head back out, Sand village just sent a message identifying their attackers."
"Who is it?"
"Some group called Akatsuki." The bowl haired teen replied.
Paling now, she had spent lots of time working with both Harry and Naruto over the summer . The two had filled her in on their situations. Akatsuki was one of them and they were after Naruto. She had heard about the group and supposedly being S Rank nins, she had to tell the Hokage.
"Shit, Shit, shit!"
Her team looked at her as she cussed, which was rarely the girl barging into the office with a worried expression. Only seconds later, they and the entire village hear a yell that goes for miles.
"WHAT!" (on his broom miles away Harry shivers in fear as he senses his demise coming sooner)
The door barged a minute later, "Shizune do we have any more available teams?"
"No, all are out or on missions, Team 10 is supposed to be back in 4 hours or so." The brunette stated. Confusion evident to say the least, the blonde woman looks with a severely worried expression.
"Jiraiya was right about Harry." She stated as she looked at Shizune. The woman shaking her head. Worried on both women's faces. Gai already knew what had happened. TenTen filling him with what she had seen, the Taijutsu specialist was ready for whatever the woman stated. He as well as the other teachers of this little group of teenagers had welcomed the young wizard with open arms.
Bright and eager to learn and earn his place in their society, he had taken to all their teachings like a sponge. Even now Kurenai was contemplating how to turn some of her illusions into easier ways for him to use. Asuma even liked the kid and showed him some strategy points and he had taken to the man's words with interest. Telling him about his friend Ron and the incident with this stone years ago. The smoking man had been curious as well as Shikamaru.
This wizarding chess was indeed curious.
As to himself, the kid was out of sorts at first but once he got the hang of it, he was good. He still needed some tightening and a more concrete style best suited to him. Being the specialist he was, he already had a couple in mind,
"Gai."
"Yes."
"I need you to back up Kakashi and his team as planned…and come with a strategy to include Harry and his two friends." Tsunade replied. "Harry is too much like Naruto in regards to his friends. He won't sit by and let them do something dangerous if he could help." She replied.
"Tsunade-sama?!"
Hushing Shizune's protest with a hand, she looks at them present. "It's time we see what Harry can do."
Looking at one another, Gai nods his head in response as he and his team promptly vanish.
Back with Harry,
Having leant down on their brooms the three teens moved as fast as the brooms would allow. Telling both his friends to cloak themselves with notice-me-not spells. That had narrowly avoided some other ninjas from seeing them. Feeling that at least one might have seen them, he breathed a sigh of relief as the shinobi looked curiously towards them.
Hey did you see something?
No but I thought I sensed something from…
From what?
Meh..you wouldn't believe me. But I could have sworn it was from above us.
That is weird, it's been nothing but clear skies. Come on, we don't want to get caught by those Konoha nins…
Making a mental note of that he made a mental note of the plates above their head. Keeping the design in his mind he kept moving. Keeping to his instincts, he flew with Hermione and Ron behind him. Unaware of them being trailed, it took TenTen hopping onto his broom, for him to realize she and her team had caught up. Braking somewhat as both Neji and Lee are on trees looking at him as Gai emerges from behind him.
"Blimey they are fast." Ron commented.
"Gai-sensei." Harry replied with a determined expression. "Don't stop me."
"I won't," The jounin replied.
"Hokage-sama stated it was time to see what you could do now. But you need a jounin with you, so she sent us and Gai- sensei." Lee chirped, happily.
"Indeed Lee, it is time to put what you can do to the test young Harry, Neji is already a jounin so if need be we can split up." The older man said. "But we face a dangerous opponent Harry, so we are going to back them up together."
"What opponent?"
"Akatsuki."
That one word, both of Harry's friends notice how he pales. Turning with a more determined expression he was about to take off, when he was stopped by Neji.
"Harry, my friend. We are going with you, and as we go we need to come up with a plan."
"He's right mate." Ron replied quietly. The red head was somber. Knowing the stories from both Naruto and Sakura as well as seeing it. He and both Hermione knew that this was dangerous. But not wanting to lose their friend to his own foolhardiness. They knew they had to come. If anything, it was to keep him from making a mistake.
"Fine." The dark-haired wizard sighed. "Gai-Sensei, do you know?" The bowl haired man came to the branch he was near. Placing a hand on his shoulder, the jounin simply nodded his head. "Come let's go."
Seeing what they got on them, Gai nods his head, before he and all of them are off once more. The cloaks on Ron and Hermione made them like a blur of camouflage, they were already talking about them staying behind as a rescue team should things go South. Continuing to talk about what to do, they move as fast as they can.

Unaware of the help coming for them, team Kakashi had arrived at the border of Wind and Fire country. Having moved non-stop, they find Temari running up to them. Her eyes clear and worried, she and Baki look at them with thanks in their eyes. Telling them what happened and that it was Akatsuki who attacked. An expression of rage came over the blonde's face as he clenched his fists.
"How far ahead are they?" Kakashi asked.
"At least half a day," Baki replied. "Kankuro took 2 teams and went after them 2 hours ago."
"All right then, which way?"
Pointing in a direction, everyone vanished as they followed the tracks and markers left by the puppeteer. Worried about his friend, Naruto is startled as the fox speaks up. Recovering his stride, the blonde listens and frowns as he hears him.
My other half is coming

How the hell. I'm gonna kill him! He's not ready!
He's more ready than you think. The fox smirked. You forget he has the other part of me in him and he brought others with him.
He is?
The fox gives a pointed look at his jailor from within. Yes he is meat shield, I believe it is that spandex guy's team according to my other half and two wizards,
Probably Ron and Hermione. I guess you could call them his team.
Bah I don't care regardless, but backup is coming.
Running now to catch up to Kakashi, the blonde relates the info the Fox told him. Knowing how much he is like Naruto in some regards, he half expected it sooner or later. It was something of a good thing though. Considering who their enemy was, he could use Gai and his team's help. And maybe they did need to see just what Harry and his friends could do.
It would be about 4-5 more hours before they caught up to Kankuro. Going as fast as they are able, they ran into his party. Most of the Shinobi are hurt, Naruto was busy helping Kankuro get up, somewhat delirious. It was then that a certain wizard girl plops down beside him and the others. Harry and Ron both land as well, they look to Kakashi who nods his head.
"Harry you shouldn't have come." Naruto stated. The blonde frowning at his cousin, the wizarding boy looking at him slightly ticked.
"Look Naruto, I just got you in my life. You are the only family member I have right now.. I am not going to let you be killed or hurt, when I could help." It was then that he looked up at the copy nin. "Gai-sensei and his team are about an hour behind us."
Kakashi nodding his head, gives a sound of approval as a smile albeit an annoyed one curls up on the blonde boy's lips. Him and Baki looking at one another, they all watch as Hermione talks to the shinobi as she opens her bag.
"What happened to him?" The bushy haired girl asked.
"He was poisoned by Sasori." the shinobi stated, "Our med nin got hurt really bad."
Hearing their words, Hermione searched into her bag. Bringing out a blue vial, she tipped the liquid into Kankuro's mouth. Sputtering a little bit, it takes a few minutes and the teen comes to his senses. Feeling a little better, Ron is busy helping others with some in his hand as she moves to the next one and so on. Doing what she can for each one, she breathes a sigh of relief as she gets the med nin who can finish up bandaged and healing enough for him to function.
"Thank you." They all stated to the two. Both wizarding teens nod their heads as Baki and Temari approach as Kankuro gets himself together.
"Damnit! They're busted."
"Shit Kankuro," Temari replied. "As she looks at the busted puppets."
Harry approaches, he looks them over and gestures for Hermione and Ron to come over. All three looking at them
Each one bringing out a wand towards one of them, the shinobis are in awe as they begin to repair themselves after they say one word.
Reparo
Looking like they haven't even been busted, The Sand teenager takes one look at them. Not finding a fault anywhere on them, he moves his fingers in automatic response. When they move a bit in response, the sand sibling gives them a huge smile in return. About to say something it is the girl with the fan on her back that speaks up.
"We will thank them later. Kankuro get moving," Temari stated, "we got to rescue Gaara."
That said, he nods his head in agreement, his puppets moving into a familiar position on his back as Baki spoke up, "I will help the injured get home. Good luck! And you two." He smiled. "Thank you, you saved a lot of lives."
Both teen wizards nodding their heads, they hop on their brooms along with Harry. They and the other Shinobi take off. Kankuro and Temari leading the way..
"What else can you guys do? Kakashi asked. Him and Gai both wanted to know how to utilize the three wizards to the best of their knowledge. "I already know you can fly like a bat out of hell Harry. What about these spells of yours?"
Looking thoughtful for a moment, it was Hermione who spoke up. "Well, there's Expiliarmus, which is where we can take someone's weapons away. Ron is pretty quick with that."
"Only because Draco kept trying to make Harry's life miserable."
"Don't forget Protego, which means we can make our own shield, and Bombarda, which causes things to explode." Harry chuckled ruefully.
"There was also Petrificus Totalus," Neji stated. "Harry showed us that one, it makes a person immobile. He cast it on us as a demonstration when we all got together one time and well speaking for myself. I could not move without extreme difficulty. And then there was Wingardium Leviosa to make things float."
"Many different spells for different things, as long as we don't cast the unforgivables we will be ok."
"Unforgivables?" TenTen asked.
Looking at one another, this time it was Ron who spoke up.
"There are three, Crucio is one. That one can cause extreme pain all over your body. It is often considered torture by many wizards. Imperio, we can control someone's mind. And then there's the killing curse."
Sighing as he looks to Harry who is silent now he speaks once more before they focus on their journey, "Aveda Kedavra, also known as the killing curse. If it hits you, you are dead normally. But Harry…he's the only one to have survived it."
Nothing more was said but deep in thought Kakashi now understood how Harry got that first seal. The teen having told him what his parents had done for him, he has to commend his mother. What she did saved her son's life even if it came at the cost of her own.
It would be about two more hours of running and flying for the three wizards before they made it to the cliffside. Looking and sensing what they could find as clues. It was Neji who first spotted the rock. Approaching its direction Kakashi and Gai could tell there was a seal on it.
"It looks like a four-point seal." Gai commented.
"Agreed."
Turning to the three wizards, he nods his head towards Neji as they listen.
"Neji, search for seals hidden from here. There should be at least 4 of them. You three and Tenten go to where he directs. Take these earphones and when all of you are ready on a count of three, destroy them as we will take care of this one."
"Harry, a ride if you will." TenTen grins, Harry nodding his head gets her on the back of his broom, Neji giving them two locations that are in the same direction. He does the same for Ron and Hermione.
"How do we destroy them?" Ron asks.
"TenTen can tell you once in place." Gai said. "Now go. We don't have long."
All four riding off, Kakashi nods his head in approval. "Give them about 5-10 minutes." He states looking at the others. Including Naruto and Sakura who both knew the speed that those brooms could move, the former glancing in the direction his cousin went, Neji places his hand on his shoulder.
"Don't worry Naruto, he has TenTen with him."
"I know. Still can't help it though."
"It's understandable Naruto." Sakura replied. "It is time to see what he can do here to help us, with what he has learned."
Frowning, Naruto crosses his arms. "I know, I don't have to like it though."
It was then that four explosions could be heard from all around them. Knowing they were now on their way back, the group of Shinobi prepared to fight as moments later another explosion is heard as the Rock in front of them explodes.
Leaping back to avoid getting hit by the shrapnel, they are at an advantage as Temari had swept a gust of wind with her fan. Blowing away all the smoke and debris, the group finds themselves face to face with their opponents.
One in a hunched down body of a puppet, it was then an old woman who had come forth, the derision in her eyes as she looked at Kakashi. The two had a lengthy discussion about their past as they all moved.
The one who seems to be from Rock cackling. He grins maliciously as he speaks. "Say Sasori, think we could get him." Pointing at Naruto. "Bet it would be a blast."
Saying nothing the other man looked at those surrounding them. "Hn, it's too bothersome," The man replies to his partner. "Take the one tail's body and go. We are done with him, I will keep them busy."
"All right if you say so," the nin replied. Forming a giant bird that carries the body away from his hands. He hops on his back. "Been nice knowing you, but I got to."
Throwing something out, several clay birds the size of their fingers fly out. Exploding and causing dust once again. A giant tail lashing out at the same time through the explosion both are surprised, as a shield surrounds the group from the two villages. Temari is already blowing the dust away. Akatsuki look up as they sense another source of something above their opponents. But all they see is a blurry image of clouds Sasori moving his hands in a sign casts a wind jutsu, that blows back a girl riding on a broom. Both startled as she pulls out a stick with purpose.
Confundus
Now unable to really see her, they look at one another as the old woman speaks. "He's one of ours, leave Sasori to us, " Pointing to the one lower to the ground. "Leave Pinky and the girl Hermione here. We will take care of Sasori. Go after the other."
The other having leapt on what appears to be a giant clay bird. He had grabbed something large enough to be a wrapped body and was already flying away in those few seconds.
In doing so, two battles begin

Okay some things first. If you are wondering how Harry got his broom. Remember Naruto and the others were there, I firmly believe Naruto would have got him and it before the Whomping willow would have.
As to Hermione and Ron going as well. I addressed that as you know they would not let him go without them. And considering Konoha has teams of three.
So this I just wrote is Part 1 as I have an idea on how its going to go just action is not my strong suit. (author looking sheepish, been working on it for the last two weeks)
