10 days after Raj and Amanda's visit, Leonard drove Sheldon home from Caltech as Amy had to work late, more international Ph.D student Zoom interviews.
As Leonard pulled into the drive of Amy's house he remarked.
"I see your neighbours house is up for sale?"
"Yes, our neighbour Dr. Onaru is returning to Japan with his work."
"Oh really, better get back, Penny and the girls are waiting for me. See you tomorrow."

Next Saturday afternoon Amy was in her bedroom office and Sheldon was watching "Star Trek" when there was a knock at the door.
Sheldon opened the door "Well it's my favourite little girls, and their parents. Amy, the Hofstadters are here."
Amy came down the stairs "Hello everyone, welcome, I shall make hot beverages."
Amy disappeared into the kitchen as Penny said "Hello Moonpie, what would you think about having us as neighbours again?"
Then Leonard said "We have just been looking at your neighbours house that is for sale."
"Please sit down, do you girls want to go to the kitchen and help Aunt Amy, she might need some help finding us some cookies to eat."
A few minutes later everyone was sat down.
Amy said "You have been moving fast, Dr. Onaru only put the house on the market last week?"
Leonard said "I noticed the house for sale sign a couple of days ago when I brought Sheldon home from work."
Then Penny said "We have been thinking of moving to a bigger house for the last couple of years, the girls are growing up and it would be good for them to have their own rooms."
"When you are the Dean you get a decent salary, we should be able to afford the house. Your neighbour is keen to sell up and go back to Japan. We will need to get the house properly checked out before we make any offer but it looks good, Sara and Rebecca will each have a room of their own."
