Izuku stood in front of the mirror, adjusting the uniform he had put on. It wasn't quite like the military fatigues he had worn for most of his life, but he still wanted to look presentable.

"Snuffin' hell!" Izuku stopped as the curse came from Eunie and Taion's room, "This thing's too tight! What do they expect us to do if we get attacked? Bite it?"

"It's schoolwear, Eunie," Izuku said patiently to his old friend, "they aren't expecting us to be trained combatants."

"Snuff that!" Eunie called back, but didn't protest further.

"She's not wrong though," Lanz said, their giant third friends walking by in uniform, "anyone looking to kill us will be right chuffed to see us like this."

"Then drop the bloody blaiser, see how happy UA is at that," Izuku said.

"You know what? I think I sparking will!" Eunie said defiantly.

"Eunie," Taion sighed from near the front door. He had been ready half an hour ago, and was using the time to read a book.

"You aren't stopping me, Taion," Eunie said, walking out and grabbing her black and green sweatshirt.

"I like it," Mio said, playing with her skirt on her and Izuku's bed, "it means our war is done."

"Well, I'm with Eunie," Sena said, the flaming haired girl sitting on the couch, "I don't really like this outfit."

"Meh, meh!" Manana said, the pink Nopon holding a camera and snapping pictures of them all, "look very dashing, Manana can't wait to share pictures with Inko!"

"Riku remembers when Riku started apprenticeship, very difficult, but very rewarding," the deep voiced, blue Nopon said, "Riku hopes you gain much experience. Remember to ignore "design studio". All weapon and gem upgrades needed come from Riku."

The six of them stepped out into the city, eyes trained on UA as an explosion went off in the distance.

Mio ran a hand through her long hair, sitting on the train on their way to UA. People seemed to be staring at them, making her feel slightly self conscious. That was, until she realized they weren't staring so much at her as her uniform. Right, Izuku had said UA was the equivalent of a Gold-Rank colony, the best of the best. Still, she clenched her hand, wishing she could summon her Blade without causing a fuss

Instead, she turned her mind to a different topic, "Izuku?"

"What's up?" Izuku said immediately.

"Do you like my hair long?"

"It's fine. Why?"

"I was thinking about having it cut. Back to what I used to have."

"Ok," Izuku said.

"You're fine with that?"

"It's your hair, it's your choice," Izuku shrugged, "besides, doesn't matter if you have long hair or short hair. I fell in love with you because you're Mio, not because of your hair."

Mio smiled and leaned against Izuku a bit for the rest of the ride, until finally, inevitability the got off at the foot of a great hill. All around them, people in the same uniform were moving up it. The six of them fell into lockstep with each other, beginning the, to them, small march up the hill.

"So just to review, Mio, Eunie and I are in 1-A," Izuku said, "Taion, Sena, "Lanz, 1-B."

"Wish they didn't split us up," Euine said, hands behind her head and wings flapping gently in the breeze, "Me and Tai are running at half a ether tank without each other. The rest of you? You have your interlink partner right there with you if things get snuffed."

"They probably didn't want to gut one class by sticking all six of us in one group," Izuku said, "I agree, it sucks, but we're also supposed to be students. If things become snuffed , they're snuffed. People don't just attack hero schools like that. There are Pros there constantly ready to take them down."

"And? We had 10th Termers and Spec Ops at Colony 9, didn't stop Gamma from attacking us."

"According to a report I read when we first got boots on ths ground.," Taion said, "only fifteen percent of villains succeed in their first venture. Those that do, tend to become persistent problems. But I agree with Izuku, it would take an alliance of villains to have any chance to succeed against a lesser school, let alone UA."

"Let your guard down if you want to, I ain't bitting it because I wasn't prepared," Eunie said.

Bakugo Katsuki was in a bad mood for his first day at UA. Sure, he had been accepted, which was obviously going to happen with a heroic Quirk like his, but his plan was already derailed. He was supposed to be in first place at everything, the Entrance Exam, Tests, the Sports Festival. Everything.

Instead, he had come in seventh in the Entrance Exam! Four of the extras who beat him (but were they really extras if they beat him?) Had come in through a combination of Villain points and "Rescue Points", which Katsuki didn't get the point of. Why not have a separate exam for people trying to get in through rescue? He knew Rescue Heroes were a thing of course, they were lame, but he knew they existed.

But then, in fifth place, had been fucking Deku. Deku. Who was supposed to be dead. He had been gone for five fucking years, how was he here, at UA, with a higher rating than Katsuki? He was Quirkless!

Katsuki shoved open the door to 1-A, eyes roaming around. Most people were sitting separately from each other, but there were four gathered around one desk. A tall, blue haired teen and a brown haired girl with wings on the side of her head, one of those weirdos from those new nations, clearly arguing.

"It is completely improper to show up on the first day of school not wearing the whole uniform!" The boy said.

"And I don't care!" The girl said, "if they have a problem with it, they can take it up with my Caduceus!"

"I-"

Silence fell as a fist hit a desk, giving a heavy thud that cut through the classroom. The brown haired girl turned to the boy who had done it, who was climbing to his feet, "You stole that move from Guernica."

"If it works, it works," the teen, who seemed a bit old for UA, said, standing up, "Listen, this isn't the time to be arguing. Eunie doesn't have the jacket on her if she wanted to, and I know her, we're old mates, she definitely isn't gonna want to because some boy she's never met before is lecturing her. Let's start over, I'm Midoriya Izuku, this is Eunie, and Mio."

Katsuki's eyes widened as he took in the ponytailed young man. That was Deku? That was Deku!?

"You bastard!" Katsuki called, lunging for Deku only to see a sword directed at his face, a gun barrel press against the side of his head and two ring shaped weapons stop at his throat.

"Oh," Deku said, lowering the sword, which disintegrated into light, "It's you."

It's you? It's you!? That's all he had to say-!

Before Katsuki could growl out a question, a voice drawled out, "that's enough. You two, lower your weapons now. I know you're trained combatants, but threatening an untrained civilian isn't good behavior for a hero."

They all turned to see a man in a sleeping bag somehow go from lying to standing without sitting up in between.

"I'm Aizawa Shouta, I'm your homeroom teacher. There are gym uniforms under your desk, switch into them and get ready, we don't have time to waste."
