"Jill, Ravenov. Respond"
"Go for Jill"
"You are graduating to the Tiuer 2 zone today Miss Valentine. Which means the difficulty will see a spike upwards. The number of zombie activity within the EZ is increased there. I understand Dr. Jansen has asked for your assistance for some samples on the Disciples. But before you do so, I must help you get geared up properly. Today's lesson, how to Pack-A-Punch you weapons"
"Pack a what?" asked Jill.
"Head to the coordinates on tac map. I'll explain the rest. Go on and also pick up some more Perk-a-Colas along the way."
Jill navigates the Tier 2 zone which was made up of Zaravan City and it's suburbs. The once thriving city now overrun with the undead.
"Raccoon City all over again. I bet this place was nice." said Jill.
"It is. Thriving even after Farah and the ULF ended the Russian occupation back in 2019. Ironically now under a zombie occupation." explained Soap.
"Speaking of Farah, does she even know what's going on here? You'd figure she and Alex would be on the frontlines on this." asked Jill.
"You know the mission Jill, No one gets in..."
"Nothing gets out. Yeah...got it."
"If it was may call, they'd be here. But maybe it's best she doesn't know. at least enough to have it as it never happened." said Soap.
"Still. Doesn't sit right with me keeping that from her."
"I know...Listen. Check your tac map. I marked a location for a supply run for you. Should be at a nearby gas station." said Soap.
"Copy that. On my way."
Jill arrives at the gas station to see what Soap marked.
"Johnny? Really? A soda machine?"
"You'll need it Jill. Stock up." ordered Soap.
Jill takes a look at the machine labeled, "Wunderfizz". A vending machine for the Perk drinks. Juggernog, Quick Revive, Speed Cola, Stamin-Up, Deadshot, PhD Flopper, Death Perception, and Elemental Pop. She activates the machine getting all the perks to drink them all one by one.
"Take your time. The effects will make your body feel a wee bit weird but it'll help long term. You might feel stronger, twitchy hands, increased cardio, and funky eyesight and whole other plethora of shite Ravenov keeps going on about." said Soap.
Jill then tests her new reload speed and other increased abilities.
"Holy shit."
"Right, get back to your mission with Ravenov. You armed up good?" asked Soap.
"Kinda. Miller is having me test something from the JAK Aftermarket parts for a handgun. JAK Intimidator I think." Jill explains.
"I trust you know what you're doing. So I'll let you get back to it. Bravo 7-1 out."
Jill reloads her Renetti handgun with the JAK Intimidator Aftermarket Part to check for ammo as she resumes the trail to Pack-A-Punch.
"Jill, status?" asked Ravenov.
"I think I see it. The hell kinda machine is this?" she asked.
"Put your weapon in the machine, you get a increase in damage and ammo capacity with a unique ability change. However the latter is a case by case with each weapon. Since you are learning about this now in the Tier 2 zone, you must put it inside twice. Pack-A-Punch has three Tiers of damage boost to reflect the zones in the EZ. Give it a go." said Ravenov.
Jill puts the Renetti in the Pack-A-Punch machine twice for Tier 2 bonus damage as she sees a fancy looking camo with each upgrade.
"The camos part of this Ravenov?" she asked.
"Yes but it is merely an aesthetic thing. Go on and test it out."
Jill then sees a nearby horde of zombies for testing, amazed at the firepower and kills she can rack up with the increase and ammo and damage.
"This'll do."
"Next lesson, finding new weapons while out in the EZ. Do you see a blue beam of light coming from the sky?" asked Ravenov
Jill looks to the skies above to see indeed a blue beam of light.
"Yeah?"
"Follow it, and if you believe the perk machines are weird, this next thing...might be weirder for you."
Jill heads for a nearby vehicle to drive towards the beam of light that leads to a soccer field with a strange crate as the source.
"Ravenov, I'm here."
"Good. What do you see?"
"A toy crate with question marks on it."
"That is the Mystery Box. Take a chance on getting a powerful weapon, or something not so powerful." explained Ravenov.
"Lady luck be on my side tonight I hope."
Jill takes a spin from the mystery box and pulls out some weird looking rifle that looks like it has lightbulbs for ammo.
"Get anything good?" asked Ravenov.
"I uhhhh got some kinda of electricity looking gun. Not sure what it does."
"Lady luck has worked in your favor Jill. What you hold in your hands is the Wunderwaffe DG2. One shot that fires a bolt of lightning to chain attack zombies frying them instantly. Especially effective at max Pack-A-Punch upgrade. It will serve you well, turning the tide against in this war."
"Glad to hear."
"It will especially serve you well against the Disciples. Miller will explain the rest."
