AN: Alrighty guys just one more Chapter to go and it'll be out this Sunday!
X
The following day after the battle at the Ipponmichi's home base, and as everyone continued to pick up the pieces of what happened, there was talk about it non-stop on the news as well as around campus. It didn't matter what she did, she couldn't escape the constant questions being thrown at her as well as the rest of the people who were involved. The crowd in front of the UA gates which consisted of the regular reporters who wanted an exclusive with any of the future heroes they could get their hands on where eager to find out anything they could, but since this was still an ongoing investigation the pros as well as police made sure not to divulge any information that could sabotage their chances at getting everyone responsible.
Arriving at the hospital Uraraka and Hawks met Bakugo and Riku there with Todoroki and his family already inside Dabis room to check on him.
"You're late." Bakugo scowled walking over to them and wrapping his arms around her which she happily reciprocated.
"I didn't know we had a schedule." She softly giggled.
"That's because you never listen to me." He gave her a small glare, but it didn't last long when he saw her forced smile. "How did it go?"
"…we weren't allowed to see anyone at the prison yet."
Bakugo took a deep breath from his nose.
"How is he?" Uraraka asked, seeing Riku quietly sitting in one of the chairs in the waiting room.
"Poor bastard's been better."
After the doctor gave them the ok, they followed a silent Riku into the hall briefly stopping by one of the doors.
"Will you be ok?" Uraraka worriedly asked the guy that came to be one of her good friends.
It wasn't long after Dabi finally awoke that he told them where to find Kenzo and that right after what happened with Hana, he managed to find the prisoned woman to help him which was why he didn't question Hana to remove his body from the room. Afterwards he was able to smuggle him out to receive proper help from one of his old colleagues.
But Uraraka could still see the exhaustion and lingering sadness on Riku's face as he pushed the door open.
Kenzo was gazing out the window sitting on the bed, head turned so she couldn't see his face until she heard him sniff the air.
"Well if it isn't my little runt of a brother and his two lowlife friends." Kenzo chuckled.
"OI-" Opening his mouth Bakugo saw Uraraka's shake her head and quickly snapped it shut, crossing his arms, and looking away instead.
"Hey.' Riku said pulling up a chair next to the bed. "How are you feeling?"
Shrugging his shoulders and wincing Kenzo turned to look at him. "Well damn, you look like shit."
"Thanks." Riku sarcastically rolled his eyes.
Scoffing Kenzo looked over Riku's shoulder at Bakugo and Uraraka already having heard most of what happened from the news as well as the police. "Did you give her hell?"
"She's captured." Uraraka saw him shaking his head already deep in thought.
"It'll never be done." He muttered. "Not with her. Not with the Ipponmichi…"
When the silence dragged on Riku cleared his throat trying to keep himself from falling apart. "The doctor said you'll be fine. They said-"
"Enough with the bullshit Riku." Kenzo gave him a warning glare which only made Riku look out the window. "Where's he being held? Tartarus?"
"Kenzo, you shouldn't strain yourself-"
"Don't talk to me like I'm 60 years old damn it. I'm only a year older than you and I can still beat the truth outta ya if I need to. So, tell me where Kage is so I can do the same to him. God knows he needs a good kick in the ass." Kenzo huffed, keeping his green eyes on his younger brother. "Riku, where is he?"
"Kenzo…Kage is…." Biting down the bile in his throat Riku saw the moment the realization dawned in Kenzo's eyes, as he stubbornly began to shake his head. "He's being laid to rest in a couple of days-"
"No…"
"Kenzo-"
"No! Don't tell me that! Don't…" Snapping his eyes shut Kenzo felt Riku sit himself down next to him.
Silently closing the door behind them to give them some privacy, Uraraka took one last look at the two brothers, only the sounds of screams and cries now filling the room.
Now outside the room he kept a close eye on her as he leaned back against the wall shoving his hands in his pockets as she quietly leaned next to him and began to stare at the floor.
"So much has happened lately that I don't even remember the last time I didn't cry." She spoke so softly that Bakugo was barely able to hear her. "It's stupid I know-"
"It's not."
Turning her head sideways, she saw him looking at the same spot on the floor just as she had, his voice still rough but calm.
"I know I used to call Deku a damn crybaby all the time but…I realized along the way that there's nothing wrong with letting it out every once in a while, especially now. It doesn't make you any weaker Ochaco, it just makes you human. And you should never feel bad about doing it since you're one of the most caring people I've ever met."
She bit her lip from quivering when he timidly watched her from the corner of his eyes with a tint of pink dusting his cheeks. It made her cherish these moments even more because no matter what, he always knew what to say and how to make her feel better and it warmed her chest so much since he wouldn't just say things simply to say them, but because he honestly believed it.
"One of the many reasons I feel in love with you to begin with pink cheeks." He smirked placing a strand of hair behind her ear. "I'm still trying to figure out why you're even with me in the first place."
Softly smiling she leaned closer letting him wrap his arms around her waist protectively.
"I mean I know I'm good looking and pretty much good at everything." He thought out loud, staring at the ceiling with a smug grin on his face. "Screw that shit, I'm perfect at everything."
"You are." She affectionately stroked his cheek as she met his eyes. Wrapping her arms around his torso she let him tighten his hold, rubbing soothing circles on her back. It was nice and quiet for a moment, only the sounds of nurses and Doctors talking and walking down the hallways doing their usual rounds.
She took in deep soothing breaths, letting herself fall into the scent that was familiar, warm, comforting, and wholly Bakugo. And if they weren't standing right now, she was sure to fall asleep in his arms.
"Only took you three years to figure that out?" He quietly chuckled, the words making her giggle and playfully punch him in the arm. "Come on, I know your ass still hasn't packed yet."
"How did you know?"
Intertwining their hands together he gave her a sideways glance as they walked. "Tch, I thought we agreed I'm perfect at everything."
Smiling, she placed her other hand on top of his squeezing lightly. "Don't let that get to your head."
X
After arriving back at UA Bakugo offered to help her finish packing her room along with Mina and Tsu, meaning he designated himself to explain to the three girls in detail on how it had to be done as well as how to label all the boxes accordingly. God forbid if one of the boxes were labeled incorrectly or he was unable to read it
"Why do I feel like I have a drill sergeant yelling down my neck." Mina had mumbled smiling when she heard Tsu chuckle next to her.
"Maybe because we do. Ribbit."
"What was that?!" Bakugo barked, whipping his head so fast it made the three girls jump. "Nothing wrong with being organized and you'll thank me later! Now move it!"
"Sir yes sir!" They scampered away trying to quickly finish.
Nevertheless, she was thankful for the help and frankly surprised she had that much stuff to pack in the first place. She guessed throughout the years and thanks to Mina and Yaoyorozu constant shopping she had a good number of things to pack and ready to go. Bakugo had ordered the boys to help out too and stack them just right. So, it came to no surprise that the minute Uraraka told them to take a break they quickly ran out of there without a second look back.
"Slackers!" He shouted over his shoulder as he finished placing one of her boxes against the wall. "And you, I can't believe you waited until the last possible minute to pack."
"Not everyone can have their room ready and packed a month in advance." She mussed out loud, giggling when he threw one of her shirts at her. Exhaling loudly, she let her brown eyes drag over the now empty room and stop when she saw her pink backpack sticking out of one of the boxes. "I'm really going to miss this place…"
"Yeah, this place wasn't too shitty I guess." He said following her line of sight. He wasn't going to admit it, but this place did grow on him after a while. Hell it seemed like yesterday they were a couple of fifteen-year-olds moving into Heights Alliance, and now they were eighteen and on their way to finally becoming heroes.
"You guess?" She knew for someone like Bakugo it was the closest they would get to admitting he was feeling somewhat nostalgic too. With a sly smile she placed her hands behind her back. "Still not regretting not participating in the room contest first year?"
"Course not. It was one of the best night's sleep I had." He chuckled, halfway getting ready to lift another box before he gave her a mischievous smirk. "Well one of the best nights."
When she felt herself blush she quickly turned back to the bed, closing one of her suitcases. "Well, were just about do-"
Halting her movements when he placed his hand on top of hers, she halfway turned her head to feel his lips on her shoulder. Tilting her head back she briefly closed her eyes, feeling her skin burn after every trail of his lips. "K-Katsuki?"
"Like you said…" he breathed against her skin. "We're just about done with packing."
Smiling when he wrapped his arms around her torso, she could feel her eyes moistening. "Actually, could you just hold me?" Slowly turning to meet his gaze she saw his lips lift with such a gentle smile it made her heart ache.
Lifting her chin with his finger he tenderly placed a soft kiss on her lips. "I was planning on it anyways." He winked, making her smile in return.

As she lay in bed quietly trying to force herself to go to sleep, she knew she wasn't the only one restless when she felt him shift next to her. "Ochaco?"
"Hmm?"
Lifting himself on his elbow he peered down at her trying to choose his next words carefully. "I don't ever want you to feel like you need to ask for things I'm willing to give you freely."
"I know…" she quietly said barely above a whisper knowing his eyes were carefully studying her. "I guess I'm just scared...nervous?"
"About graduation?" he inquired only getting a silent nod in return. He tried to keep his frustration under control knowing that after the fight with Hana and fight with Toga that her mind has been elsewhere too.
"Are you?"
"Course not." He scoffed, unable to keep the smirk from appearing when he heard her giggle knowing she already knew he didn't want to admit it. "Yeah, guess I am too. You know…. I've been waiting for this moment for as long as I can remember. The moment I first saw All Might on tv." He thought out loud, his voice was calm and quiet as if he himself couldn't believe it. "I guess I'm still trying to process all this myself."
"I think we're all feeling the same." She quietly replied knowing all their friends were as anxious as them.
"I guess." He said after a while looking down at his hands.
Turning her body to fully face him she saw the apprehension on his face and rare conflict in his eyes that made her reach her hand out and place it on his cheek. "Katsuki, I know what you're thinking."
"Oh yeah?" he chuckled, tilting his face. "What am I thinking?"
"Mhmm. You're thinking… that for someone like you who always managed to reach any goal he's set his mind on, that this still seems out of your reach. So, it's hard for you to grasp that you've done it. That you're finally ready to step out of this place and make a name for yourself. And don't for one second think that you don't deserve it because you do Katsuki. You've changed so much since we were fifteen to this wonderful brave and caring man that I couldn't be more proud of." She tried to fight back the oncoming tears threatening to spill, she really did, but the more she thought about it the more her voice wavered, especially when she saw his eyes glistening.
"You really think that huh…"
"Yeah, but you still have your outburst and moments." She giggled when he lightly pinched her sides. "But that's what makes you you and I wouldn't have it any other way. You and Deku managed to inspire us so much that thanks to the both of you were all able to reach our goals too. Katsuki you changed my life the moment I set foot in that stadium, made me realize… I was more than just a rescue hero and made me understand I want more for my life. And for that I'm grateful and happy to see who you're becoming. You're going to be a great Hero Katsuki Bakugo, and I know you'll reach top ten before we know it."
"How about top 1?" He smirked when he leaned down, with his thumb wiping the tear that streamed down her cheek before giving her a gentle kiss and pulling her closer. Now more than ever he was looking forward to the next couple of days, more ready to find out what was on the other side of this and knowing that everything would be alright as he lightly tapped the small box still waiting in his pocket.
"I supposed." She smiled, feeling him inhaling and nuzzling into her hair blissfully letting his calm breaths lure her into sleep.
X
The next day after a few hours of paperwork and calling in a few favors Hawks managed to get them into Tartarus.
Uraraka found herself now sitting across from Himiko Toga in the interrogation room with Hawks standing close behind leaning against the far wall.
"Ochaco Uraraka, I didn't realize that you'd miss me this much already." Toga gave her a faint grin from behind the glass that separated them. "I bet you like seeing me like this."
"You're mistaken to think I like any of this." Uraraka said voice devoid of any emotion.
"I guess I am." Toga eyed Hawks watching them carefully. "So why are you here then?"
"Hana." Hawks simply said. "Tell us what you know, and we might be able to help."
"Help?" Dropping her head Toga continued to speak and Uraraka didn't know whether it was directed at them or herself. "No one can help me."
"Not true. We were able to help Dabi…before you took him that is." Hawks was clearly still upset about that since they were making such progress with Dabi until this whole ordeal. Luckily word got out that he was able to recover from his wound and was scheduled to go back and get help with another hospital since the previous one was currently under investigated.
"And Jin? Did you help him?" her voice sounded small as she continued to stare down. "He was a good friend, and you took him from me."
"Bubaigawara also had a choice, and he made it just like I had to."
"You heroes always have to make things sound so righteous. But the minute we disagree with you we're labeled as villains and criminals." Lifting her head, she glared at Hawks. "We're not the only ones with blood on our hands you know."
"No, you're right." Uraraka said watching Togas eyes shift to her. "You're just the only one here that's killed people for fun or cared for. When did that become right Toga?" she saw Toga quickly avert her eyes with the next words she spoke. "You may be right when you say that the world we live in isn't perfect, but I'm still willing to fight for it. You made sure I didn't have the perfect life I could have, but I'm here now asking for your help. You're quick to blame everyone else here like Hawks about what happened to Twice, but yet I don't see you taking any of the blame or responsibility for what happened to Kenzo or Kage."
"They betrayed me-"
"No Toga." Uraraka shook her head. "They did what they did out of love. Kenzo cared about both you and his brother, that's why he was trying to save you two and get you out. And Kage cared about Kenzo. But in the end, you were the one that failed them, Toga."
Uraraka could see the tears gather in Togas eyes but had yet to see her shed any of them.
"Hana huh…."
"What do you know? We'll make sure to-"
"To what?" Toga cut Hawks off. "I have nowhere else to go and even if I did…nobody can protect me from her."
"What does she have on you?" Hawks curiously asked recognizing the hesitant look on Togas face as one he's seen way to often in his line of work.
"Wait, you don't like Hana, do you?" Uraraka tiled her head.
"She promised to give me what I wanted which was to kill you Ochaco."
"Not true." Uraraka calmy said as she stared at Toga in front of her.
"Yes it is!" Yanking at the cuffs Toga glared back at her. "I want you dead Ochaco! Don't you get it?"
"If you did, you would've done it by now." Uraraka firmly said unaware of Hawks quizzically eyeing the two. "It took me a while to figure it out you know…but I remembered what you said. Last year you warned me about the Ipponmichi and you warned me about Hana. You also said…you did this for me. Why was that?"
"You don't know what you're saying, or did you forget that I killed you daddy?"
"Trust me when I say that I haven't." Uraraka balled up her hands on her lap knowing what she was trying to do, and she needed to refrain from letting her emotions cloud her mind if they were to get any answers out of her. "Why would you go through all this trouble for someone you wanted dead?"
"I did. I did want you dead…it's all I thought about." Toga quietly admitted frowning at her own words.
"But something changed, didn't it?" Uraraka concluded.
"You don't know what she's capable of." Toga began, keeping her eyes glued to her shaking hands. "Shigaraki…All for One…they're nothing compared to that little girl. She even scares me. She may look young and has the personality of a spoiled child…but she's not someone I'd want to play with."
"So why did you?"
"Because I wanted you and her dangerous quirks is not something to mess with." She met their gaze with her yellow ones intertwining her hands. "When the Ipponmichi were first founded it was with a group of followers that All for One had gathered. They believed him to be a god amongst people…considered us lower beings. He and his daughter- just like with his brother- didn't see eye to eye. So, when Hana came along, he saw himself in her. Especially after witnessing her killing her own mother one night. But just like some families, they would disagree on some things…especially with how much he spoiled her. Or so I heard."
"So, what happened?" Hawks asked.
"He handed the Ipponmichi program over to her since he was busy trying to get his hands on One For All. Like Shigaraki he was hoping to pass his knowledge along to her and eventually take over but soon realized she couldn't be controlled, so that's why he set his eyes on Tomura afterwards."
"So she must be old." Hawks furrowed his brows.
"She's been around since all this started." She shrugged. "So her knowledge is dangerous. She used the Ipponmichi as a way to find more information about quirks…what made them work…why they even appeared in the first place. She also used it to find potential strong quirks for herself and experiment on people."
"That's were that creepy doctor comes in." Hawks said watching Toga nod.
"Surprised the good doctor managed to escape." Toga tilted her head. "What's the matter Hawks? Getting old?"
Scoffing he shook his head walking to stand next to Uraraka. "I'm not that old." He quietly said to her.
"Well other than that, I'm sure you know everything else that goes on there." Toga continued. "How else do you think her grandfather was able to receive all the funding for the things he did? How else do you think he was kept alive after All Might's fight? Doctor Garaki was a huge help yes but they still needed the Ipponmichi."
"Makes sense. What about her quirk?" Hawks asked. "We know most of them but-"
"Ah I think Ochaco knows…don't you Ochaco?" Toga playfully lifted her finger to her eyes. "Blue means she can take anyone's quirk at will by touch them for a period of time only, everyone except for Izuku's of course. He's always been special."
"Red?"
"Once she's inside your head she can do what she wants." Toga shivered. "Purple works like telekinesis."
Swallowing down the lump in her throat Uraraka narrowed her eyes. "…and white?"
"That's the worse one of all and her favorite." Toga pressed her lips together remembering the hard way of how she found out. "She can see…see things she shouldn't be able to."
"Like what?"
Shaking her head Toga contemplated her next words.
"Toga, what does it mean?" Uraraka tried again, her tone becoming firmer.
"It lets her see into the future of anyone she wants."
"What?!" Hawks leaned on the table. "That's impossible! We haven't heard anything about a quirk like that."
"Is it? Just because you haven't heard of it before doesn't mean it doesn't exist." Glancing over at Uraraka, Toga gave her a meaningful smile. "Ochaco knows."
Hawks furrowed his brows crossing his arms over his chest. "Alright well if what you say is true, there has to be a drawback just like with any other quirk."
"From my understanding…the further into the future she tries to see, the more inaccurate it can become."
"So that means she can be wrong? That it can change?"
Turning her eyes to Uraraka, Toga saw the small hope that still lingered in her brown eyes. "I wouldn't count on that. Why else do you think she's had her sights on the three of you?"
"There's something else you're not telling me..." Thinking over what she just heard, Uraraka could feel her resolve already breaking when Hawks placed a firm hand on her shoulder.
"Maybe."
"Uravity-"
"-Toga what does he have to do with any of this?! He has nothing to do with this!""
"He's more important than you know." Toga said.
"No. There's still a good chance that-"
"You've seen what will happen Ochaco." Toga tiredly groaned.
"You don't know that!" Her voice trembled. "There's still a chance Toga. There has to be!"
"There's not."
"I'm not letting her do this!" Uraraka jumped to her feet as the chair screech against the floor in protest. "I won't!"
"I tried to tell you." Togas face twisted in annoyance. "I tried everything EVERYTHING to keep you away! But it didn't matter what I did-nothing worked! He wouldn't stop coming after you and you just couldn't stay away from him! Why did you feel the need to?! Why does someone like Katsuki Bakugo deserve you?!"
"Because I love him." Uraraka stared at her unblinking. "I love him more than I have anyone else in my life and there's nothing that will ever change that."
Averting her eyes Toga shook her head. "He loves you too you know…I could see it. Even if I didn't want to…I can. It is something I never got to experience in my life. It's so powerful and intimidating that I knew I could never stop it. Didn't stop me from trying though."
"Then help me Toga, please!" Uraraka pleaded. "There has to be something I can do. I -I can't lose them!"
"Hana will do whatever she can to get her hands on him."
Slamming her hands on the table Uraraka felt herself trembling with anger and fear as the flush of images Hana showed her ran through her head. "She won't lay a damn finger on him you hear me!"
"Oh? And how will you stop it I wonder." Tilting her head Toga gave her a small grin. "Everything's in motion already remember… never changing."
"No…that's not true. It can't be true!"
"Isn't it though? Can you be certain of that? It's already done, and you know it." Toga hummed narrowing her eyes. "I know you friend, and I know what you're thinking."
"I'll find a way."
"Are you willing to bet their lives on it?" Toga carefully asked, watching Uraraka take a step back. "You and I both know what you're going to do. What you're willing to do for the ones you love. For the people you care about." Chuckling Toga shook her head. "You know it's funny…after all your effort…after all you've done. You'll still end up like me...all alone."
Nodding towards the security guards, Toga let them take her out of the room and down to her cell but not before looking over her shoulder. "Remember what I told you…the little details sometimes make the biggest difference Ochaco."
Uraraka absently stared at the table in front of her until Hawks spoke. "You ok kid?" He could see her frail and trembling as she defeatedly shook her head knowing the position she was in, and he wouldn't wish that on anyone.
Leading her down the prison cells of Tartarus he saw her suddenly stop as her eyes looked into the white patted cell with Hana quietly sitting in the middle of the floor still wearing quirk suppression collars and various other restraints around her to keep her secure.
Uraraka knew Hana wasn't able to use her quirk down here but the unsettling eyes smiling at her still shook her to her very bones.
"I've got my eyes on you..." Hana sing songed, as she turned her head watching them as they walk by.
"Well at least we got what we came for." Hawks said once they were finally outside and were able to breathe in the fresh air. "Toga, Hana, the guards we captured and Shigarakis unconscious body all in custody. And with files Invisible girl managed to snatch up before the place went down, we should be able to find all the other people involved and funding the Ipponmichi."
"Yeah."
When he saw her silently continued to absently stare off at the water surrounding Tartarus as the wind blew pass tussling her hair, he gently spoke. "You should've let him come."
"He wanted to." She gave a weak smile remembering the argument she had to have with Bakugo to let her go see Toga alone as he listed out the reasons why it wasn't a good idea. "He can be quite stubborn."
"Guess you guys have that in common." He smiled stretching his arms and peering down at her. "So, what are you going to do now?"
"I don't know..." She furrowed her brows. "Graduation is tomorrow."
"That it is." He hummed remembering that Principal Nezu rescheduled the hero courses own graduation for the next day and he started feeling a little nostalgic himself. "It seems like only yesterday I was teaching Tokoyami how to fly."
"Really?"
"Yeah. It took a few tries… kind of like potty training. But after a few accidents here and there he eventually got the hang of it." He chuckled when he heard her giggle.
"He better not hear you say that."
"Too late, I already put that in his graduation card."
"Hawks!"
"No but seriously." Hawks fully turned to face her. "It might not be what you think, but I think I can help."
