Elsword stretched his body and looked at their house. That timeline was fun, but it was good to be back. Except… most of his friends were swapped. Eve also noticed the same thing and was currently trying to find the best response to this situation. Raven just sighed, since he couldn't even know what to do to fix it. "Alright… Let's see here…"

"This… is quite troublesome, but I'll take it. Give us some briefing tomorrow morning," Elesis smiled and looked around her. She felt safe when she saw her girlfriend, but more importantly, she had so many things to take care of until she's back to her timeline. "Alright everyone, we should rest for now! What do you say?" Elesis faced Elsword before making her decision.

Elsword just smiled and nodded his head. "Sounds good to me. Let's get some rest!"

Base Potion: Everyone returned to their base class! Well… just the appearance and ability, though.

Everyone was so exhausted, so they all went to sleep right away until morning came. Ciel had the tendency to wake up early, so he walked out of the bedroom and went downstairs. Lu was already sitting on the carpet, grilling marshmallows on the fireplace. "Ah, good morning, Ciel."

"Good morning, Lu," Ciel greeted her and walked to the kitchen. He remembered that the real Ciel in this world also had to prepare breakfast for everyone, so he checked the ingredients and thought about what to make. There weren't enough choices, so he couldn't even create something unique even if he wanted to.

Lu sighed and stared at Ciel. While he didn't look that different, something was really off… including herself. "Why do we look like the first time we met?"

"I wish I knew. Maybe one of you girls used the potion?" Ciel shrugged it off.

Eventually everyone got up and gathered in the dining room as they ate their breakfast. "Alright… I'll start with the basics," Eve said as she looked at everyone. They looked like the first time they met… Well, some of them. But she did recognize everyone. "In this timeline, our job is to fight off demon invasions. If you feel like they're coming this way, tell us right away."

Eve faced Aisha and Laby. "You two are street performers–magicians, to be exact. If you could, please perform anything until the timeline is fixed."

"Laby has so many gurumis! Laby will perform with Aisha!" Laby smiled and raised her hands in excitement. She gasped, realizing the "gurumi" she mentioned didn't appear. With teary eyes, she faced Aisha and apologized. "Laby can't summon gurumi… Laby doesn't know why."

Aisha smiles proudly. "It's alright! Let's wing it and adapt from there."

Eve faced Rena, Elesis, Lu, and Ciel. "You guys are online content creators. I assume at least one of you has a phone?"

"I do!" Elesis winked and took out her phone. It's a different model, so Eve might need to make a custom charger for it.

"Phone…? Like that one, no," Lu shook her head in disappointment.

"Rena and Elesis are aiming to be cosplayers, I'm sure Rena got the idea already. Lu and Ciel… I don't know, but Lu mostly spends her time with Chung," Eve said with a sigh and looked at the screen from her drones. "Well… at least I can hack their accounts. Just use my drones for now," she muttered before she looked at Chung, Ara, and Ain. "You guys work at that cafe. Ara and Ain are engaged, so please randomly flirt, even if it's fake. And um… Chung, you're a crossdresser."

"I'm a what?!" Chung freaked out and held his head. "Aaah… fine… What the heck is Fatal Phantom thinking…?"

"It's fine, it's fine! We got this!" Ain smiled with confidence.

Eve faced Add and Rose. "I honestly don't really know what you guys are doing most of the time. Just do whatever. I'll tell you if we need something."

"Time to test my children at the field!" Rose shouted with sparkly eyes, since she saw a lot of empty spaces around. She forced herself to laugh and looked away from them. "If… I have them, of course… I can't find them for some reason…"

Eve faced Noah. "You work at a clinic from time to time to heal people. Um… Can you do that?"

"With beautiful nebulae and stars, of course!" Noah smiled and summoned a small star on his hands. Sadly nothing came out. Even Clamor was still inside the sickle. He just laughed it off and shrugged. "Well… Not today."

"Okay, lastly…" Eve stared at everyone with an annoyed look. "Who used the potion? I was on self maintenance, I wasn't watching."

"Not us boys. We're upstairs," Add defended himself right away. It was obvious, since the potions were in the girl's room.

"Did you do it again?" Ara asked with a skeptical look toward Rena. The elf was here for a few days, surely she knew something.

"No! It wasn't me this time!" Rena shook her head.

"Oh, it's me!" Aisha smiled and waved her hand. "It's harmless, no? I was curious."

"Let's just get to work. Do you guys need a guide?" Raven asked as he walked out. The others followed him to find out where they usually work.

Eve sighed and looked at the remaining people in the house. Elsword was obviously with her, since they lost their job. Rena and Elesis were having a discussion and browsing the cosplay stuff for references. Add and Rose were supposed to be together, but they didn't know what to do. Since nobody really knew, they got free time instead. Noah was also there because he couldn't heal anyone at the clinic.

"I feel so free! No voices in my head, I'm not crazy!" Elsword smiled happily. It's been a long time since he found peace in complete silence.

"I heard from Rena that Lu kinda became a lord in this town. Is that true?" Add asked in curiosity.

The town was surrounded by demons, making everything become weird until Lu and the others purged them all. She became the town's savior, although all she did was remaking her throne in Elrios. Eve nodded her head as a confirmation.

Add checked his Dynamo's radar. "Hm… No demons yet. We're lucky!"

"What are we supposed to do, then? We can do some cleaning," Elesis said as she looked around the house. She was startled and faced everyone to apologize. "M-My bad, I forgot I'm not leading! My habit."

Eve smiled and nodded her head. "We don't have a leader. Don't apologize, we're fine with your guidance. Lead the way."

Elesis forced herself to laugh and smiled at them. "Your house is a mess. Let's clean it up!"

"How did you afford a house this big and not take care of it?" Noah asked with a confused look. He had never seen a big house so dirty before.

"You don't even take care of your own house, Noah," Clamor replied in a cheerful tone.

Elesis took out her phone and let Eve hack the real Elesis' account for her to use. She turned on the livestream and waved her hand at the camera. "Guys, I'm gonna live stream our house cleaning time and you will like it! It's basically a house tour!"

"How is that even a content?" Lu asked with a skeptical look.

"Everything is content if you do it right, Lu!" Elesis shouted and read the chat. The viewers obviously felt weird with her vibe, since she wasn't even close to real Elesis, but she just had to do it. "Eve, Add, clean the ceilings! I know you have the ability!"

"What the heck?! Fine, I don't like dirty places anyway," Add said in an annoyed tone and looked around the house. Eventually he came with a disappointed look. "Elesis, we don't have any cleaning tools. At least we have 2 cloths."

Elesis stayed silent as she stared at the only 2 cloths in Add's hands. She gave one of the cloths to Eve and told them to start cleaning. "Elsword?" Elesis faced her brother, who was originally from this timeline. "Can you buy some cleaning supplies? Vacuum cleaner, mops, brooms, something like that!"

Elsword nodded his head and went upstairs to check their money. He grabbed the entire wallet and went out.

Eve's drones led them to the only mop and broom they had in the house. It's probably not enough, but anything would do. "Alright, let's get started!" Elesis shouted and raised her fist to the air.

"There's nothing much to do. I'll cut the grass outside," Rose shrugged and went out. She noticed an entire pool existing in the house, so she went back in and spread the bad news. "We have a pool to take care of!"

"Here's your order–waaah!"

Ain easily caught Ara to prevent her from falling and grabbed the tray away from her hand. He smiled at the customers, placing the orders to their tables and apologized for the delay. "Are all Aras clumsy?"

"A-Aaah… I guess so…" Ara sighed and apologized to the customer. They went back to the cashier and waited for new customers. "I guess this is why Eve never let me do an actual investigation…"

"I don't know what you're talking about. Maybe you're good at something else," Ain shrugged with a confused look. Then he remembered Eve's words about flirting once in a while because in this timeline, both of them were married. "You're good in bed, though!"

"D-Don't say that out loud!" Ara shrieked with a flushed face. She slapped Ain's arm lightly and narrowed her eyes at him. "Flirt, Ain. Flirt. Not shamelessly being a degenerate."

Ain stared at Chung, who was reluctant to wear the maid outfit. But when the work started, he managed to take care of pretty much everything. He refilled the glass when it's empty, and got all the customer's orders memorized in his head too. Ain and Ara could literally stand behind the cashier all day. "He's good at this," Ain commented, feeling amazed to see Chung's dedication.

Ara laughed nervously and smiled. "I heard his timeline is chaotic. I guess he got a whole strategy when he's used to fighting?"

"Let's step up our games. I don't want to catch you all the time," Ain said sarcastically and laughed at Ara.

"I-I'm trying!" Ara pouted and grabbed the menu, seeing someone coming to the cafe.

Ring!

"Welcome, master!"

The street performers turned into public clowns. Aisha didn't have many magic spells she could cast, just a bunch of fire spells. But a simple fire spell would be enough. It could make any form, or even burn a whole house if she wanted to. She made a fire dragon to fight Laby and her mirror.

"Wah?! Laby will not surrender!" Laby shouted and threw a lot of pink balls at the dragon. The dragon was smacked, but it roared in anger.

"Why won't you admit defeat?! It's over!" Aisha shouted and told the dragon to attack Laby.

Laby threw dark water from her mirror, like pouring them to the ground. "Water beats fire!"

The dragon roared in pain and eventually lost its form. The crowd cheered when Laby defeated it. She jumped in happiness to celebrate her victory. "Laby won! Laby won! Laby gets to punish Aisha!"

"Uuugh… Fine…" Aisha sighed and kneeled on the ground. "What is your punishment?"

"Hm… Laby wants Aisha to do… silly dance!" Laby clapped in excitement, but she wanted to do it too. She didn't care anymore as long as everyone was having fun. Since both of them were from the same timeline, Laby started singing a song that both of them knew. "I'm a man with a plan! The plan is to booze as much as I can!"

Aisha pretended to be a drunk person dancing randomly, even falling. Laby laughed at her, but she also did the same.

And Raven was pretending he didn't see anything while he's scouting the place as usual.

The house definitely looked cleaner and tidier. There wasn't much furniture in the house, so it was way shorter than Elesis expected. She ended her stream and thanked everyone for helping her with her content.

"It wasn't that bad, to be honest. But you guys should clean more often," Lu suggested as she looked around the house. It's refreshing to see no dust.

"It's been years of improvement. Why don't we spar?" Rose smiled and challenged everyone in the house. "There's definitely a lot of stuff missing in our current fighting style. Let's see who choked the most!"

"Good idea. Let's go to the backyard so we will have something to clean again later," Eve nodded her head in agreement. There was nothing else to do anyway.

So they went to the backyard. Rose smirked, having four types of guns in her possession. "Good old days! It's always nice to do the classics!" She shouted and shot randomly.

Noah ran around in panic. "I never fight this much! Help!"

"Don't worry, I–Ah! I only have one sword!" Elsword shouted and grabbed the sword with both hands. He forgot he would only have one sword and nothing more.

"Man… I miss not having El power stuff!" Elesis grinned and finally dashed toward Rose. Both of them engaged in a fight already, but Elsword disturbed them. It's a battlefield of fun, after all.

"Aah… Feel old yet, Ciel? Let's go!" Lu giggled and joined the fun. There was probably not much she could do, since she just lost most of her power. Ciel just sighed and assisted his master. What else could he do?

"Are you guys not joining?" Eve stared at the 3 people watching from the distance; Rena, Add, and Noah. They seemed to enjoy people sparring as a show.

"What? We don't fight in our timeline. I don't need to join to know I'm gonna lose right away," Add commented and narrowed his eyes at Eve. "Or do you actually think we solve our investigation with violence?"

Eve blinked her eyes several times. She just found out how bad this would be if they were having an actual demon invasion. "At all? Maybe you can fight a bit?"

"A bit? Yes. Skillful? No," Noah explained with a confused look on his face. "Ara included. She can heal, though."

"Yeah, sorry. The least I can do is play a battle music theme," Rena apologized, feeling like she was a burden in this timeline. She did her best to try to fight, but she felt horrible. "At least Ara can do martial arts. Maybe that'd be helpful."

"Ah… It's alright. We can train if you guys want to," Eve smiled before joining the battlefield.

The working people went back at night. It was odd, but they still got their money. The house was way cleaner than usual, but the backyard was completely in chaos. They could even hear the sound of them shouting and weapons clashing.

So they decided to join in.

"Spar? I love spar!" Chung smiled and shot them with his cannon. "Ah, damn… The lame cannon…"

"Laby wants to join! Laby wants to fight!" Laby just charged ahead and randomly punched people. It didn't matter how bad it would be, her physical strength was already there like it was natural.

"Oh, back in the old days when I just cared about eliminating everything? I love that," Ain smiled creepily and summoned his pendulum. He went to his spiritual form, creating magic creation weapons and imagining himself if he chose a destructive path.

Ara sighed heavily and gripped her spear. She walked away carefully and approached her friends, who were currently with Eve in the distance.

"Do I have a choice?" Raven unsheathed his blade and joined the battle. He didn't change much, after all.

"I only have fire, but it's fine!" Aisha shouted with confidence, casting her fire spells that weren't just simple fireballs. Dragons, cthulhu, flowers, and anything else she could think of. The spar was dominated easily, stomping everyone in a few seconds.

Ara shrieked and covered her mouth at the sight. "I-I'm glad I walked here…" she forced herself to laugh and faced her friends. "W-We're probably too noob for this."

Add folded his arms and narrowed his eyes at her. "What do you mean? You and Laby are the only people that could fight well," he said with a serious look. Ara felt useless in the detective agency, but she knew martial arts. If they ever had to fight culprits with firearms, Ara would be the only person able to fight them barehanded. Laby was extraordinary, but she would still get hit.

"Martial arts aren't for fighting!" Ara pouted and smacked Add's head. "I'm sure Eve–I mean, Code: Antithese–could do something. I just don't want to see it."

Eve chuckled and looked at them one by one. "Eve in your timeline can definitely fight… destructively. Anyway, we should continue our training tomorrow. It would be useful for you guys too, I'm sure of it."

"Really? So I can kill people and blame Clamor for it?" Noah asked and wondered about it. Technically his weapon was alive, so the murder weapon would be the murderer.

"Wait, wait, don't do that!" Clamor shouted in panic. One of these days he would materialize into his elf form and got accused for every crime Noah did.

As always, at midnight, everything changed back. Everyone could feel their power flowing back to their body. Their appearances changed too to their present looks.

"If I can fight, then I can protect you! How's that sound?" Noah asked with a smile, staring at his partner, Rena. They played around too much, but danger could come anytime. He always thought he could be a meat shield… or just make Clamor a meat shield. But he wanted to be able to fight, at least good enough to protect people he cared for.

"Aw, that's so cute! Protect me, but I'll protect you too!" Rena smiled back and patted Noah's head.

"I'm gonna be one of those alpha males in the movies! I'll impress you while protecting you from danger. Because I love you!" Noah shouted in excitement. It's always been his dream to fight like a hero… or villain, since they could be awesome too. All he knew was a bit of magic spells that would make the planetarium go bankrupt.

Rena's eyes sparkled from his words. "I love you too! You always impress me! I'll impress you too," she winked before she went back to the girl's room.

Noah went upstairs to meet the boys. They were currently looking at the Ouija board in Elsword's hands.

"You like Rena, don't you?" Add asked and stared at Noah in the eyes.

"Wha–Who, me? Not me," Noah replied while his eyes were swimming around. He even got startled by the question.

"You figured out this potion will help you to make Rena realize all your "I love you" aren't on friendly terms. You didn't try to come back here just to play around," Add continued, making Noah even more nervous than he already was.

Noah's face flushed red as he looked away from everyone, including his own weapon. "A-Ahaha… I don't know how else to confess… maybe I'm already friendzoned?"

"I learned from the internet!" Ain said with confidence. He was sure this was one of the effective ways to get a woman. "Show your weewee–"

Raven smacked the angel's head without mercy. "What is wrong with you?"

"Then tell her it's a serious matter! You got this," Chung nodded and completely convinced Noah already went the right way.

Noah pouted and stared at Chung. "I did! She didn't even blush!"

"Don't worry. They might use more potions! We'll see how it goes tomorrow," Elsword smiled and raised the Ouija board's pin. "Or we can ask the spirit for love advice."

Special thanks to Astry for the idea!
