In this timeline's Elrios, people mostly live in a group. The place wasn't in grave danger, but just like any other world, it always had a problem. In a certain group–a guild, to be exact–everyone lived together in one big building called a guild base. The interior was… unexpectedly looking like a fantasy realm.

Their surroundings looked like a patisserie, but the cake size was as big as a stadion. There were more sweets like cupcakes and macaroons. Sadly they weren't edible; they're small buildings.

They walked to the two main cupcakes; a purple cupcake and a pink cupcake that were something like a dorm. Each cupcake had a door. The purple cupcake belonged to the boys, while the pink cupcake belonged to the girls.

Rena forced herself to laugh and looked at everyone. "Um, well… We usually have Elesis as our leader, but because she got swapped, I'll take over for now."

This is the current El Gang in this story's timeline! The bolded one is the original classes.

Elsword - Genesis

Aisha - Metamorphy

Rena - Daybreaker

Raven - Nova Imperator

Eve - Code: Esencia

Chung - Comet Crusader

Ara - Devi

Elesis - Empire Sword

Add - Dominator

Lu/Ciel - Demersio

Rose - Minerva

Ain - Richter

Laby - Nisha Labyrinth

Noah - Morpheus

Rena told everyone to rest for the night. It would be ineffective for a briefing when everyone was tired. The boys' room, the purple cupcake, was more futuristic than it looked. Add had a bunch of his inventions around the whole building. The best part was they weren't just lying around; every one of them was working.

"This looks awesome. Can I bring some back to my timeline to aid my investigation?" Raven asked, feeling like each device that he interacted with would make his investigation easier.

"Go ahead. I can always make a new one," Add answered, which was a surprise to Raven. Add didn't care to say more and went back to his room.

Chung chuckled and faced Raven, feeling curious of his timeline, even after he experienced it himself for a day. "I don't know about Add in your world, but in ours, he's really nice. He doesn't yell as much as he used to."

"I-I see…" Raven muttered, still surprised with it. He grabbed a round robot and brought it with him. "Richter–Ain, you don't seem to be surprised."

"Hm? Ah, don't mind me," Ain replied and tried his best to look normal. He felt a really strong El power from Elsword. It's good to see, but it's bothering him a lot. Especially when it's resonating like he's the El stone himself.

"Um… One more thing, Ain," Chung poked Ain's arm. "Ain–I mean, Bluhen–always sleeps in Elsword room. If you want a room for yourself, I'll prepare it!"

Ain looked at Elsword, who didn't even say anything ever since they got here. It's like… Elsword lost his last bit of humanity. "Then I shall do what Bluhen usually does," Ain said to Chung before looking at Elsword again. "Show me the way, Elsword."

The girls' room were gathering in the living room like they were having an actual formal meeting. "I apologize, but we need to inform you all of an important matter," Rena apologized and looked at everyone. Most of them were swapped, unlike the boys.

Without irrelevant chit-chat, Rena went straight to the point. "Elesis, in this timeline, you're the leader of El Gang. Elsword was in charge, but as you can see, he isn't capable of doing it anymore, let alone remembering his own name," Rena said to Elesis with a serious look.

"L-Leader, huh? It's been a while," Elesis forced herself to laugh and thought about it. She didn't lead the El Gang in her timeline at all, when she actually could do it. She might be rusty at it now.

"Aisha, you're Elesis' girlfriend in this timeline. You two have separate bedrooms, though," Eve looked at Aisha, who didn't seem as surprised as Elesis. "Ah, you already know?"

"I saw them in the park, yeah," Aisha smiled and looked at Elesis. "Should I go to your bedroom today for practice? We need to look romantic!"

"That won't be necessary. I'm sure if you two just walk together, people won't notice," Nisha said with a cold stare. Aisha was a bit surprised with Nisha's tone, but she could feel the jealousy.

Rena just chuckled at them, knowing there was an internal problem in their relationship. "That's about it. Elesis, if you need help, you can ask Eve, Ara, or me."

The next morning, the group gathered on top of a chocolate pudding… which wasn't a real pudding. This was arranged as their meeting place. Rena started with the basics by introducing the timeline. "First of all, you guys are free to do anything. We get money by clearing the missions that are available in the town hall. Sometimes a fight happens, so please be careful!"

"But in case the mission is too hard to clear, you can always ask assistance from the others by submitting a mission form to Cobo Service. Someone will clear it for us so we can continue on our mission. Remember to always prepare the payment!" Rena smiled and pointed her hand at Elesis and Ain. "Elesis and Ain are in charge of our budget, but… since you guys are basically outsiders at the moment… Hm…"

"Ain gave the money to me last night," Add informed them. For Ain, Add would be the most trusted person to hold such an important matter. There would be no way for the angel to be knowledgeable of the world's price.

But for the group, it was a disaster. "A-Add… Please take care of the money REALLY wisely," Rena smiled and put her palms together, almost like begging.

"Oh, I will. Don't worry," Add chuckled before he left the base.

Judging by how fast he left the base, Rena could do nothing but scream and faced the floor. "Why… Why did this happen?! Our… Our hard work… Sob…" Rena sobbed and curled herself.

"Was that bad? I'm sorry," Ain apologized with a straight face and looked at the group. What did he do anyway?

Ara shook her head and shrugged. "I can't even stop him at this point. Let's just give up."

"Um… Add will use all the money for his research fund," Chung explained to Ain with a forced smile. He wasn't sure how to feel anymore that they just lost half of their money.

Rena stood up and wiped her tears. She had to let it go because it wouldn't come back. "It's okay! We should be fine!" Rena reassured them… and herself. "Now my question is… What mission are you guys currently doing?"

"I found this paper," Ain took out a paper that turned out to be a mission.

Noah nodded his head with a smile. "We were working on it. Me, Ain, and Elsword."

Rena sighed heavily and looked at their current Ain. "Well… You have to fill him in, Noah. Elsword can't do anything about this."

"I'm working on a mission to find herbs. I'm with Aisha and Raven," Eve informed the two people. This would be easier to comprehend, even for outsiders.

Elesis forced herself to laugh and took out a paper from her hand–a wanted man. "Is this a mission? It's in my room."

"Ah–Yes, we're hunting a person. You, me, Lu, and Ciel. No killing, though!" Rena smiled and nodded her head. She looked at everyone to start counting. "Chung, Ara, Add, Rose, and Nisha are free then?"

"Yeah, I can see how free my boyfriend is," Ara smiled looked over to the door. "Might as well do some easy missions before we can't afford food."

Rena reminded them of their partners, just in case someone would ask about it. Fortunately, they didn't have to be together all the time.

Aisha and Elesis were a couple. Sometimes they looked like best friends instead. In this case, both of them could just act normally.

Rena and Raven, but Raven was swapped. It probably didn't matter much, since they didn't flirt in public.

Chung and Rose looked more like siblings. As long as they had fun together, they'd be fine.

Ara and Add weren't swapped. There's nothing to worry about. Even Ara already left the guild base while they were talking about the relationships in this timeline.

"Alright, let's start working! Chung, guide our guests, will you?" Rena smiled before she gestured at everyone to spread out.

Nisha pouted and glared at the front door. "Not fun. Why is Aisha not with me in this timeline?"

Chung looked at Nisha with a confused look. He always had the cheerful Laby self instead of her mirror. Seeing Nisha in person was a bit weird. While Laby didn't show any romantic affection, Nisha seemed to have that one feeling. "Is she with someone now? I heard Chung in your timeline broke up with her. I thought they're going to get together again."

"Almost, I think? I saw them talking alone a few times, but maybe it was just my imagination," Rose tried to answer. She did know Aisha was still trying to move on. The magician still liked her ex.

"Almost?" Nisha repeated with a smug face. "Not even close. I already had our Chung rejecting her," she chuckled on her victory… at least she considered it a victory.

Chung was startled with her story. He had to admit he was curious about his counterpart's love life when it sounded like a soap opera plot. So he asked Nisha what happened.

Nisha glanced at Rose, who also seemed excited to hear her story. "You guys really like gossip. I believe you won't bug Aisha or Chung–I mean–Fatal Phantom after this? I'm only willing to tell the story because this Chung right here is asking," she said as she narrowed her eyes.

"If it's a secret, then it's a secret. I promise to keep it," Rose nodded her head and placed her fisted hand on her chest. If Nisha trusted her enough to keep it, then the girl might open up a little to the group. Might.

"We had a body swap potion. I was inside Fatal Phantom's body for a day," Nisha started telling her story and sat on top of her round dark green friend, Poco. "I figured I had the privilege to go through his memories. I won't tell his past life, but… I recalled his memories with Aisha."

"Both of them confessed to each other just for fun. Aisha was curious with how it feels to date someone and Fatal Phantom merely thought it won't affect his life. He had his own thoughts about Aisha, and… I got my own," Nisha smiled and held her flushed cheeks with her hands. "She's not the best girl, but that's her charm. I found her ignorance to be cute. The moment she's aware of her romantic feelings, she'll be attached. So she started to get Fatal Phantom's attention again, but this time, for love!"

"Hm… So you found her attractiveness based on his memories?" Rose asked to confirm what she was hearing. It sounded really weird, but it seemed possible to see someone's charm that way.

"That's… I'm not sure. Aisha cheated on him, right? You should be seeing Aisha betrayed him in one of those memories," Chung commented with a sad look. He could never imagine if her girlfriend cheated on him with someone else. "I wouldn't bother to get a partner anymore after that."

Nisha nodded her head. "I did. It hurt me too. It made me feel like trash, even though it wasn't my feelings," she answered with a sad smile. "And you two have the same brains. He didn't want to get a partner anymore, just like what you said."

"He's kinda close with Lu lately, though," Rose commented with a smile. Maybe it was her time to start shipping her friends.

"One day I decided to randomly mock Aisha until she's mad. I did it for Fatal Phantom because he wanted her to hate him. I did it in his stead so she would never talk with him anymore," Nisha chuckled, remembering their fight for the whole day. "If she hated him, she wouldn't have any reason to continue loving him. But just like he suspected, she wouldn't believe the sudden nonsense. She found out I was plotting it."

"They have a really complicated problem that could be solved by talking," Rose sighed and scratched her head.

"We… have difficulty saying things bluntly. Thank you, Nisha," Chung smiled and thanked her personally. Nisha was confused with the random gratitude, so he explained further. "Although… I still don't understand your reason. Why would you go that far for him?"

"So Aisha can start loving another person. What else?" Nisha asked back with an innocent looking smile. Her face flustered from imagining her crush. "I'll get her. One day."

Rose laughed at her reason and patted her back. "Be honest for a bit, Nisha. You gave him this," she said and lifted up Nisha's left hand, showing the similar friendship bracelet that Fatal Phantom had.

"And he turns out to be a great friend. I'll ask him for tips one day," Nisha giggled and looked at her own friendship bracelet.

"And Aisha doesn't have one. Why is that?" Rose asked with a smile, feeling like she finally found something wrong with Nisha's story. Nisha just stared at her bracelet and didn't reply to anything.

"Can you tell me another thing?"

Nisha looked at Chung's serious look. Somehow he didn't seem to want another gossip. "Did you see a big armored guy? My–Our father should look the same. I wonder if you know where he ran off to?"

"Ah, he's dead," Nisha answered, as blunt as she needed to be. "He went with Ran away from Hamel, but not to Sander. Maybe going back to that portal in Feita? I don't know."

"Portal?" Chung repeated and thought about it. In this timeline, there weren't any portals. Humans and demons were coexisting just fine. But if he went to Feita, then might as well check the place. He smiled while still being worried and thanked Nisha for her information.

"You said "ran off"? Helputt was possessed in our world. I hope that information would help," Nisha added after she realized something was a bit different.

"Why are you suddenly telling him this? You never want to tell us anything," Rose pouted in jealousy. They spent more time together than with everyone else in this current timeline. She wanted to know why she kept it up for herself.

Nisha sighed and summoned her thorned bat to point it right into Rose's face. "We're all sleeping in the same room. Aisha is there too. Are you stupid? She'll hate me if she knows I was tampering with Fatal Phantom's memories just to be close to her."

"Then just get him!"

"Are you guys collecting boyfriends or what?!" Chung shouted in disbelief and stared at the 2 girls. They're clearly seeing his other self as an object in this conversation.

"That's what they do with the potions. Can you believe it?" Nisha sighed and shook her head. "First, Rose got Add. Then Eve got Elsword. Then Ara and Ain were engaged. And lately Ciel and Elesis are cooking together," she informed and glanced at Rose, who was pretending she heard nothing. "If one of you touches Noah, I'm destroying every potion that exists within my sight."

"W-We won't! Calm down!" Rose shouted in panic.

Chung asked them to go out and look around for missions. The thought of his father being alive came back to his mind. He should visit Feita for a few days and stroll around for clues.

"What if Aisha only sees you as a friend, though? It doesn't seem like she has feelings for you," Rose said, feeling confused about Nisha's current love. She pointed at the bracelet in Nisha's hand. "Like I said, you don't make a bracelet for her."

"W-Well… That's…" Nisha looked away, feeling gloomy about everything. She's aware that Aisha didn't show any sign of affection towards her. She kept thinking if she just followed her around, it would make a change. But so far… nothing much changed. They held hands and that's it.

Chung chuckled and looked at her, who suddenly lost all her energy. "Laby always asks Nisha for advice. Did you talk to her about it?"

Nisha faced her mirror that was floating around her. Ever since she tried to get close to Aisha, she barely talked to anyone else. She hadn't talked with Raven for so long. She still played around with Noah and Chung, but that's it. "I heard you and your girlfriend just clicked. Must be nice," Nisha commented at Chung with jealousy.

Chung scratched his head in confusion. "Well… How do you feel, to be honest? Do you actually like her?"

"A lot!" Nisha yelled and pouted because her love was doubted.

Rose smiled and patted Nisha's back gently. "Nisha, snap out of it. You dived too deep into Chung's memories. What do you actually see there? From your story, it didn't make any sense that you'd love Aisha."

Nisha was startled, stopping her feet and stood in place. What did she actually feel? All this time, she just carried out the negative emotions for Laby. Knowing that the world was too corrupted, she wanted to protect all the positive feelings Laby had by switching places with her. Now she faced the world herself, she saw everything as bad.

Her mirror rubbed itself on Nisha's cheek, telling her everything would be alright as long as she took a moment to just think about it properly. Despite her friendship with Raven and Noah, she didn't feel like it was enough. The first time she felt overwhelming positive emotion was when she recalled Chung's memories during the Body Swap Potion.

His memories weren't the best to be recalled. There was happiness; dinner time with his family. While she didn't have parents but only Laby as her family, she felt warmth in her heart. That little happiness was shattered when his mother was killed in front of him and his father was possessed by a demon.

When the El Gang came for him, he felt welcomed, even though he was a stranger. He finally got some friends to have fun with. But of course, the most memorable one was his time with Aisha. After they broke up, that's when Nisha felt the familiar emotions. She didn't like it one bit, even though it was always her feelings. In short, Chung was lost in his books and had his feelings based on the current book he was reading. Nothing was special anymore.

"Nisha wants to feel the extraordinary feelings again! They came from Aisha, so Nisha wanted to get her, right?" The mirror spoke and faced Nisha. "That's why Nisha went so far to separate Aisha and Chung. Because if they get back together, Nisha can't feel the extraordinary feelings from Aisha anymore."

Nisha turned to silence and looked away from her mirror. What Laby just said was true. She didn't truly love Aisha–it was the wrong way to put it the whole time. She wanted to be loved romantically–and based on the memories she recalled–it had to be Aisha. But no matter how hard she tried to attach herself, Aisha didn't have feelings for her. "Is this how it feels to be broken-hearted when nothing is even happening, Laby? Maybe I actually tampered with Chung's memories too much," Nisha muttered, looking at Chung and Rose, who were waiting for her to move.

"Don't worry about it. Love isn't something you can force," Chung smiled and continued to walk.

"You did recall everything, didn't you?" Rose sighed and shook her head. "You're basically Fatal Phantom now, but blunt. What else? You're gonna read books all day?"

Chung laughed at it and faced them. "Nisha is Nisha. She doesn't resemble Fatal Phantom at all."

"Is this the herb?"

"Hm… No. It's close, though. Keep searching."

Raven shouted in frustration. They were in a small garden deep inside a forest in Feita. All plants were shaped almost the same. It's just a bit of different colors.

"Hang in there, Raven! Color blind sucks, huh?" Eve giggled and looked at all the herbs they gathered. Aisha didn't have much difficulty getting the herbs. But Raven, who was unfortunately found suffering from color blindness, had no way to differentiate between herbs and wild plants. Even so, he still tried his best to help with the search.

Raven squatted down and faced the ground. "I never thought I'd lose to color…"

"Let's ask Overmind to cure that at our next meeting. If he can create a bunch of harmless potions, then he should be able to fix your color blindness," Eve smiled and patted Raven's back.

"What are the herbs for, Eve?" Aisha asked in curiosity. She had been picking them, but now she wanted to know what it's for.

"It's just an energy booster. Pretty good if you want to stay overnight for a battle," Eve informed and looked at all her servants coming back with herbs. "This should be enough. Let's go home!"

Everyone came back to the guild base in the evening. Well, not exactly everyone. "Ah… I guess the others would be back in a few days," Eve said as she looked at the current members. She folded her arms, remembering that they lost half of their money. "Add! What research are you doing this time?"

"Teleportation device," Add smiled proudly while the device wasn't even made yet. Not even the beta prototype. "So we can go anywhere and ask for the other's help easier."

Eve sighed and just nodded her head. She looked at the remaining members; Aisha, Raven, Chung, Ara, Add, Rose, Nisha, and herself. "Hm… since Ciel isn't here, I guess we have to cook for our dinner."

Ara yelped and shook her head. "Do you remember the last time I went to the kitchen? I'm not doing that again!"

"I'm horrible at it too," Nisha admitted that she was bad at cooking too. She didn't remember anything because it was Alternate Timeline Potion, but her stomach felt funny the night after that. She was told she was trying to make breakfast for everyone that day.

"Don't worry, I'll handle it," Raven smiled in confidence and asked the way to the kitchen. In his actual timeline, he lived alone, so he was obviously able to cook now.

While they were waiting, Nisha asked Aisha to come to a huge green macaroon, which was an empty space far away from the others. She bowed down along with her mirror floating down. "I made you really uncomfortable lately. I'm very sorry."

"N-Nisha?" Aisha called her and told her to raise her head. She felt so confused. Why did Nisha apologize all of a sudden?

"You know what I mean, Aisha. I've been a creep," Nisha smiled sadly and looked at her mirror. She already discussed it with Laby, but she felt a bit anxious now.

"Then… Can you at least tell me something?" Aisha asked, feeling curious. She didn't get what had happened to her, but she was a bit glad that Nisha wanted to stop what she was doing. Nisha finally faced her and waited for her questions. "What did you want from me?"

"Love," Nisha answered bluntly, since she had no idea how to say it without mentioning the word 'love'. Her face was straight, even though she didn't manage to get what she wanted.

"What?! Why–" Aisha stopped shouting when she remembered the fact that Nisha peeked into Fatal Phantom's memories way too detailed. Her face felt hot, knowing that Nisha knew all of her embarrassing moments that she only showed her ex privately. "How much did you lie?"

"Sadly, nothing. Chung wanted you to be happy with someone else. I used that reason to separate both of you," Nisha answered and faced Aisha, who seemed to be in quite a surprise. "I know you won't accept things right away, just like back then at the bar."

Aisha massaged her forehead in confusion. Who was she even talking to now? If only Nisha didn't dive into Fatal Phantom's memories, it wouldn't be this complicated. "I… see… It makes a lot of sense now."

"Guys, dinner is ready!"

The two of them forgot how loud Chung could be and got startled by his loud shouting voice. "I hope we can stay friends. I had a lot of fun, I don't know about you," Nisha smiled and grabbed Aisha's hand. She put an item on Aisha's palm and let her grip it. "Let's go back. Apology might not be enough, so I'll try to do something else," she said before she jumped off the macaroon and walked to the group.

Aisha opened her palm, looking at a horribly made friendship bracelet that was made by Nisha. It's just so horrible, she could definitely tell the maker. What was Nisha to her? She couldn't see Nisha as a love interest. Did she have fun this whole time, while Nisha was being creepy sometimes?

She did.

So she carefully put the fragile bracelet on her left wrist before approaching the group.
