(A/N): Hey Guys! Also a fairly short chapter, though longer than the last one. Fluffy though, with some anger. :P Oh, and just so you know, I'm considering two possible story lines way down the track. Like, after the second wizarding war, I mean. One of them involves killing off Elaine. Oops! :D

Elaine
To my surprise, Leo didn't look shocked.
In fact, he didn't look anything at all, his face completely blank.
"You love me?" His voice conveyed no emotion also.
"Yes..." I managed to choke out, and he nodded slowly.
"Oh." Was all he said, and I glared at him.
"Oh?" I said, trying to keep my voice under control, and his blank expression contorted into one of pain.
"It's not like we can be together Elaine!" He shouted, standing up so fast, his chair toppled over. "I'd only hurt you, you know that!" I crossed my arms over my chest.
"What about Brooke?" I asked, and he looked at me incredulous.
"Brooke is different-" I cut him off.
"How? How is she any different than I am?!" We were having an all out shouting match now.
"She's half-veela!" He said, throwing his hands up, and I rolled my eyes.
"Yeah, because that's really so different!"
"She's strong, Elaine!" My eyebrows shot up.
"And I'm not?!" He shook his head furiously.
"No! When I bit her last year, she was able to push me away! I'd just kill you!" I scowled and yanked down the collar of my shirt.
"Take your best shot!" And that's when both of us froze, seeming to realise what we were doing. "Leo..." I started again, now calm.
"Don't." Was all he said, retaking his seat.
As I went to do the same, however, I found myself being pulled into his lap. I wrapped my arms around him, tight, and he hugged me to his chest.
"I love you." He whispered, mouth not even an inch away from my ear, and I shivered as my stomach did a flip.
"I love you too."
