(A/N): Hey Guys! So, here's another chapter. It's not quite as short as some of them, but it's not that long. This chapter doesn't have a lot of purpose, other than to introduce something that will come along later.

Disclaimer: I own nothing you recognise.

Leo

Even though I was currently in the middle of a crowd of pureblood supremacists, I was actually having fun.

Brooke and I were dancing together, Remus was currently twirling Elaine, and Sirius and Lily were doing a sort of awkward shuffle while James and Peter stood on the sidelines, not wanting to have to dance with each other.

Her arms were curled around my neck tightly, mine around her waist, holding her tightly to me, lifting her slightly off the ground so she could stand on my feet. Now we were at least close to the same height.

I rested my forehead against hers and she giggled quietly, shaking her head slightly before leaning backwards, making me support her as she did so.

"One of these days, I'm going to drop you." She lifted her head again to look me in the eye.

"No you won't." No. I won't.

"You wanna bet on that?" She simply rolled her eyes, glancing at Remus and Elaine as she tried to teach him how to dance properly.

"Doesn't that make you jealous?" I frowned slightly, looking to them for a second before back to her.

"I couldn't be less jealous of anyone dancing with her, other than her brother." She lowered her gaze to a spot on my chest.

"Would you be jealous if it were me?" I squinted slightly in confusion.

"You dancing with her, or him dancing with you?" She gave a weak chuckle before meeting my eyes.

"Anyone dancing with me." I gave her a long look before flashing her a smile.

"I'm jealous of myself right now." The smile she wore now was clearly not one that showed she was happy, and I gently gripped her chin with my thumb and forefinger. "You're beautiful Brooke. You're smart, and kind, and completely understanding. There's not a single thing wrong with you. I just... No one can compare. Not to her." She pursed her lips, and I pressed mine to them gently. "I'm sorry."

"It's not your fault." She said, shaking her head. "It's hers." I was going to protest as she looked to Elaine again, but what she said next shocked me. "For having such a perky ass." I raised an eyebrow at her, and she shrugged. "Hey, I can appreciate beauty." I shook my head.

"Whatever. That's genetics, not choice." She tilted her head to the side, watching with great interest as Remus twirled Elaine in our direction.

"You know what else is choice?" I didn't get a verbal answer though, because as soon as they got close enough, Brooke snagged Elaine's hand and twirled her in the opposite direction, leaving both Remus and I partnerless.

"What was that about?" He questioned, and I shrugged.

"Appreciation?"

(A/N): So, I have school again tomorrow, and I'll try to write, but I have to do an essay on Run Lola Run most likely and some other things, so I probably won't upload a chapter until at least tomorrow night, sorry guys.

Please review and/or check out my other chapters!
