(A/N): Hey Guys! Sorry for not updating before now, but I did, however, prewrite a few extra chapters (yay!) And recently start a new fanfic. It's a Fang-centric Maximum Ride/X-men crossover called 'Lies My Mother Told Me', and I only have the first chapter up so far, but I have the next like, three written out already.

Anyway, it's another Sirius PoV, wow!

Disclaimer: I own nothing you recognise.

Sirius

I woke up two hours in a supply cupboard with Filch looming over me, an empty mop bucket in his hand, my clothes soaked and my head pounding something fierce.

Not exactly pleasant.

As Professor McGonagall guided me into the Hospital Wing, I saw Leo in one of the beds, a needle protruding from his arm, his body twitching as he slept.

"What... What happened?" Madam Pomfrey bustled over to my side.

"We were hoping you could tell us." She said as I sat down on the end of one of the hospital beds.

"I don't- I don't really remember." Poppy sighed quietly as she examined the small cut on my eyebrow, and my nose, which I had to guess was broken.

"That's what everyone else is saying as well." McGonagall murmured, and I snapped my head up to look at her.

"'Everyone'?" McGonagall pursed her lips, glancing over at Leo's unconscious form.

"He also attacked Miss Folley, Miss Evans, Mr Lupin, Mr Potter and Mr Pettigrew." My eyebrows shot up, and I made to get off the bed.

"What? Where are they?" Madam Pomfrey guided me back onto the bed as she gave me an answer.

"They're safe, Mr Black. A little shaken, but otherwise fine." Confusion must have shown in my expression, because Minnie elaborated.

"It seems they were able to subdue him until I arrived." I lowered my gaze to my lap.

"That's not Leo." To my surprise, Minnie nodded in agreement.

"No, I do not believe it was." She glanced at Madam Pomfrey. "Poppy found traces of a mix of herbs commonly known as Spharmus in his system." I raised an eyebrow.

"So... what? He was drugged?" Minnie winced slightly.

"He was being controlled. If I had to hazard a guess... I'd say it was his mother." I nodded slowly.

"He won't be blamed for any of this, will he?" McGonagall shook her head.

"It is unlikely. Spharmus has much the same effect on vampires as the imperius curse has on normal witches and wizards. And since Leo is only a half-vampire... there's no way he could have resisted the orders he got, no matter how much he wanted to."

(A/N): So, what did you think?

Sorry for the shortness, but they do get a bit longer a little later down the track again, so... hang in there.

Please review and/ or check out my other stories!

This chapter has had minor edits made to it on 31/12/22 - Because I misspelt Spharmus as 'Pharmus' repeatedly.
