Who can you trust? That one sentence kept rolling around in Jamie's head as he looked around the room. Could Doctor Matthews be one of them? Shaking his head, it could be a possibility, but slim. She'd helped both him and Eddie the first time when they were undercover for this operation. This time they didn't have a choice. He couldn't question her right now because of all the guards and blue suit man in the room. Shaking his head again, he focused on helping Doctor Matthews organize the instruments on one of the trays in front of them. Doctor Matthews made idle conversation.

"You seem distracted today, Doctor Stevenson. You ok?"

Jamie looked at Doctor Matthews and frowned.

"Just tired doctor."

Doctor Matthews nodded and looked at the woman in the bed whose name was May.

"How are you doing May?"

May blew out a breath and shook her head, placing a hand on her belly.

"I'm not sure. Something feels off. It's hurts."

Jamie looked at the monitors and then looked at May.

"It might be a contraction."

May shook her head no and looked to Doctor Matthews. Doctor Matthews cleared her throat and then looked to Jamie. But she projected her voice towards May.

"Ok May, let me just have a quick look here. Doctor Stevenson, can you get her legs?"

Jamie did as he was asked and then looked to Doctor Matthews.

"Would you like some help?"

Doctor Matthews nodded her head and looked Jamie straight in the eye.

"Yes actually. I need your help. We need to turn this baby around. This baby is breech and wants to come out feet first. Can't have that now."

Jamie took a breath and followed Doctor Matthews instructions. He concentrated on helping Doctor Matthews, but at the same time he felt like blue suit man was staring at him, rather that facing the wall. He didn't like the rules of having all the guards and blue suit man in the room during a birth. It violated the privacy of the patient. Not to mention he didn't trust blue suit man as far as he could throw him. Which he knew he couldn't anyways, he was pretty big, height wise. Jamie spoke over the sheet, hoping his voice sounded calming to May.

"Just a little longer May. You're doing great. Keep breathing."

May tried to take in a breath but instead held it. Jamie again tried to reassure her.

"May, don't hold your breath. Keep breathing. Take a deep breath and let it out slowly. There you go."

May groaned and then let out a cry. Doctor Matthews looked over the sheet and smiled behind her mask.

"Ok May, I want you to give me a push. That's it. Keep going."

It wasn't long before both Jamie and Doctor Matthews began to hear the crying of a healthy little girl. Doctor Matthews cut the umbilical cord and placed the little girl into Jamie's arms. Jamie smiled down at the little girl and her crying turned to slight whimpers somehow she felt safe in his arms. Rocking her a bit, Jamie felt his defenses as a father kick in. He knew he had to protect this little girl. Shifting her in his arms, he managed a glanced back over at blue suit man and glared at him. He wasn't going to let that man take another baby or kill another mother. Jamie was gentle with the baby girl in his arms but kept her close. Blue suit man tried to make a move towards Jamie, but he turned away.

"I won't let you take another baby away. I won't let you kill another mother."

From the corner of his eye, Jamie saw Doctor Matthews grab for something. In her hand was a concealed syringe. Blue suit man may have been taller than any of the occupants currently in the room, but she was dead set on getting rid of him. Taking her chance, she stuck the needle in the back of his neck, finding a vein and pushed the plunger on the syringe. Removing it, she watched as he stumbled a bit and then hit the floor with a large thud, making it vibrate. Swallowing, Jamie could only stare at Doctor Matthews. Doctor Matthews nodded and put the cap back onto the syringe and placed it aside on another tray. She looked at the guards in the room.

"Lock him up somewhere, where he can't get out."

The guards nodded their heads at Doctor Matthews, and it took all their strength to drag blue suit man's body out of May's room. Doctor Matthews continued her conversation with Jamie.

"You thought I was on that man's side, didn't you?"

Jamie looked at Doctor Matthew's with a hard to read expression behind his mask, still currently holding the little girl.

"Are you?"

Doctor Matthews shook her head.

"Absolutely not. I would rather see him rot in jail than see him hurt another mother and take one more child away."

May began to cry as Jamie placed the little girl in his arms on top of her chest.

"Thank you Doctor Stevenson! Thank you Doctor Matthews! She's beautiful! Are you sure that man in the blue suit won't take my baby away?"

Jamie shook his head and looked into May's eyes.

"He can't hurt you anymore. We'll get you out of here, ok?"

May nodded and marveled at the little girl on top of her chest, exploring her newfound space. Doctor Matthews finished up and the two were on their way back to his and Eddie's room. She struck up a conversation with Jamie.

"I would like to see how Patrick is doing. He's getting big fast. They only stay this little for a short time."

As Jamie and Doctor Matthews entered his and Eddie's room, they found Eddie on the floor in a heap and Patrick nowhere to be found. Jamie was quick to get to Eddie. He felt his anger begin to bubble up inside of him when he saw her face.

"Oh my god, Ed. Who did this to you?"

Jamie got to his feet as Doctor Matthews leaned down next to Eddie.

"I'll stay with her and get her cleaned up. Find Patrick."

Jamie quickly exited the room and started to go in the direction of the staircase that led to the living room of the house. He heard slight whimpering at first. Descending the staircase, Jamie found one of the maids by the fireplace in the living room.

"This is my baby! You can't take him away from me!"

Jamie put his hands up to try and calm her.

"Layla, listen to me. No one is going to hurt you. I promise. Please just give me the baby. I promise I'll find your son."

The maid shook her head and was seemingly backed into a corner.

"No. This is my son. You can't take him away from me."

Jamie shook his head and kept his hands up.

"Layla look at me. I promise I will do everything in my power to get your son back. What Rolanil did you to was terrible. You should've never had to go through that."

Layla seemed to relent slightly but never moved from her spot in the corner.

"You promise?"

Jamie nodded and gestured towards her.

"I promise."
