Another bad day for a boy who lives in Academy City, a place that worships science, that's further along the trail than the rest of the world.

People who visit for the first time, if the city even allows them, might call their experience "magical". But enough talk of a special place, and wonder into the eyes of an unlucky boy, a boy beloved by many.

"OH—MAN—OH—MAN—OH—MAN!! I'M GOING TO BE LATE!!" The boy known as Kamijou Touma was running late for something. He was focused too hard on his destination that he didn't notice a piece of paper fall out of his hand. It looked to be a coupon. "I-I made it!! Just in time for the 10-year ultra discount!!" He walked into the store ready to make

use of his coupon, and it looked like he didn't have any time to waste. He went around grabbing what he needed; his cart was full. "That's unusual... that coupon must've been something special." He thought. "With this amount of food, there should be enough for Index and for the rest of us to last a whole week!"

He walked to the checkout counter, a young lady was ready to check him out. Kamijou waited for a hot minute. "Ok that will be 500." Any other time kamijou would be down on the ground crying since he is a broke high school student who happens to live with a black hole, but this time he would be smiling. That coupon must've been something really special. Kamijou held his hand out giving the cashier nothing.

"Ummm we don't take invisible money around here?" When she said that he opened his eyes to see that he was holding nothing. "Huh?" Kamijou looked through his pockets desperately trying to find his life saver, [ huh? Did I forget to bring it? No- i was holding it as i ran here? Did—did I drop it!]

"ha such misfortune, did I really think wining that 1 in a million coupon would have no consequences?" The young girl looked at him worriedly, "umm you gonna pay or not because we about to close." This is why Kamijou was running to this place, the store would close its doors early for it's anniversary.

[I guess I'll buy what I can] "can I just get The least expensive ones?" But before the young cashier could respond she was interrupted by a woman's voice coming from behind him.

"May I pay for your groceries?~~~" Kamijou turned around to say no but when he did, he was met with her face. She was so close to his face that if he turned fully their noses might have touched. "Aaah! sorry about that" he almost tripped when he moved to create some space between them.

This woman was stunning, she had on a tight dark green Mock Neck Sleeveless Long Bodycon Dress, that held on to her curves in all the right places. Even her chest, it looked a bit tight for those size, big but not that big. Kamijou took all of her form in. His blush was obvious.

"I'm sorry but no" Kamijou wasn't the type of person to take money from people, he was the type to give money to someone who needed it more than him. "The stores about to close and I don't want to go to another store, so let me pay for it~~" she only carried three items in her hands, the store was about to close and it would take some time to figure out what items he needed and the price.

[ I guess I'll have to make it up to this woman] "hey it's almost time for me to clock out." The young cashier was getting annoyed. "Sorry! But I can't let her pay for me!!" He seemed to forget his thought.

The woman pushed Kamijou to the side and handed her card to the girl. "Ring up Mine as well" the girl happily did so, she really must of wanted to leave, and as for Kamijou… he was stunned.

"Hey-Hey are you going to stand there for your whole life?~~" Kamijou's mind was fried, how can he reply 500? What can he do? But most importantly why did she go and do that?.

"Hellloooo? Anyone in there~~?" Kamijou Regained his mind, he looked at her and said, "oh sorry." [I don't want to cause anymore trouble.] all the items were already bagged, so all he needed to do was take them. "Do you want some help with all that?~~" Kamijou did not want to burden her with his troubles. "I appreciate it but no I don't want to take up more of your time."

"Well too bad I'll help you out anyways~~" Kamijou looked at her and was about to deny her, but he realized he wouldn't be able to handle all of the items. Plus he's never seen this amount of items before.

Before he knew it they were both outside putting his groceries in her car. She had bugged him to use her car, it was a good thing for him too as this was district 15. "Just letting you know you owe me now~~~" Kamijou let out a sigh. "I guess so."

On his way back to his dorm Kamijou learned one thing about this woman that made him not want to owe her any favors. She was kinda like Lessar, every word that came out of her mouth was…provocative sounding, her voice was very seductive. And she fully knew what she was doing, the biggest part of not wanting to owe her favors, she was a scientist. Lord knows what she wants.

"All right we're here~~" She got out of the car and moved to the back, opening the back revealed a large amount of groceries. "Mhmm~~ is this is gonna take sometime~~" she grabbed two bags of groceries. "Where do you live~~" She asked Kamijou with a hint of lust, he felt like he just brought something terrifying into his life. " Seventh floor, door 2B."

"I'll be taking these two~~ I'm not a strong girl~~" He watched her walk to the elevator, Kamijou was not one to check someone out… but just watching her was making him blush. As she got in the elevator she turned around. She gave him a smile and than pushed a button, he watch as the doors closed. "Such misfortune" He sighed but got to work.

While Kamijou was doing his part the woman was about to meet his roommates. "Oh, I forgot to ask him for his key, I guess I should wait for him." as she said that the door opened "Toumaaaa! I'm hungry!!" There was a nun, index was her name and the so called black hole.

"And who might you be?" She asked index, index was not happy to see a woman that was probably brought by Touma. "I'm index and who are you?" Index did not hide her hate. "Oh I'm Kamijou's girl, friend~~" index was taken back by her wording, she was about to say something but was interrupted. "I'm helping Kamijou with groceries, can you let me in~~"

"Hmph, sure" she stepped aside to let the woman in. "Very spacious in here~~" she placed the two groceries on the ground. "What a big place~" she turned around to face Index who was not happy. "Indeed, this place contains space but no more room for more" said a certain doll who stood at her door of a doll house, that was on top of one of the bookshelves. "What kinda doll is that~~ very provocative outfit~~~"

Kamijou ended up taking the stairs. [of course the elevator had to break when I tried it, sigh] as he turned around the corner he could see Index trying to push out the woman, she was doing a good job at resisting Index's attempt of a push.

Kamijou walked closer, "Index, what are you doing?" She looked at him and formed a smile, not at him but the bags he had, why didn't she react the same to the bags the woman had? "Oh there's my helper~~~" she walked up to Kamijou and when she got close she traced a finger on his hand. It sent shivers down his spine."Here I'll take two of your hands~~"

Kamijou was carrying four so he was glad to hand her the bags. "Thank you" he shouldn't have done that, and it was out of his nature. Kamijou felt a strong urge to run for it, [I feel like a hole is being burnt onto me!] "Index can you help out?" His voice was filled with uncertainty, index only looked away and crossed her arms, "why don't you ask her to carry all of it, hmph!" She turned and walked back into the apartment.

"Hehe~~ here let me take the rest, go get the rest" Kamijou felt like he was burdening her… and he's never seen index like this before… well not this mad? [she's probably hungry] "alright, take them" handing them over was a relief to his right arm and he could feel his legs preparing for a battle.

It took some time to bring in the items especially because he did not have any help bring them up! The woman only helped bring them in. Kamijou did feel satisfaction seeing her struggle carrying four bags, it felt nice.

"That was a lot of work!" Kamijou seat on the ground and leaned back onto 'his' bed to rest. "Toumaaa! I'm hungry!" yelled Index, she was standing in front of him with her hands on her hips. Othinus who had been watching from her house carefully climbed down and walked next to index. "I am too quite famished, human" Kamijou let out a sigh, getting up from his small brake.

"I can lend a hand~~" Kamijou looked up at the woman, he stood up and smiled. "I'm sure you'll be better off waiting with Index and Othinus" Kamijou didn't want to put this woman, who had made herself a guest, to work. "I want to help you out~~~" the woman was standing very close to Kamijou, Index had an annoyed face, Othinus noticed it. "… it would be nice to have a pair of hands for once"

"It would make great practice for the future~~~~" Kamijou looked at her with confusion, "what do you m—" He was cut off by the sound of Index's stomach. "Let's get cooking~~" said the woman who took Index's stomach growl as an opportunity to not explain herself.

After all the cooking and plates were laid out on the table, Index was already eating before anyone else. "Gotta say it was nice having a helping hand around here! Thanks for the help… um…" Kamijou realized he never asked her name, the woman noticed and replied, "Mo-Fae, the names Fae~" Kamijou smiled, "thank you, Fae."

[Fae, Fae, Fae? where have I heard that?… what was it? Come on think-Think you're supposed to be the magic expert] Othinus was deep in thought trying to remember something.

"Here Othinus I know you'll like this" Kamijou put a not so regular sized plate with not so regular sized food on her small table that was out side of her home. The food brought Othinus's mind back and seemed to forget what she was thinking.

They sat around the table eating, all except Kamijou who was eating at the stove since they did not have enough space. Even Sphynx was eating at the table at be it was under it, he was enjoying his cat food.

"Mmmm~~ truly delicious~" Fae was really enjoying the food, though as she would eat she would be staring at Kamijou. They would occasionally met eyes, though Kamijou would look away with a blush. Index wouldn't notice as she was too deep into eating so Othinus was the one to take notice.

"Human, how did you two meet?"

"It was love at first sight~~~"

"Yea—no it was not, we met at a store!!"

Index was shooting daggers at Kamijou while Othinus was bothered by how Fae was acting.

Kamijou was flustered by her response, but was brought back by the glare Index was giving him.

"Oh, that reminds me you owe me~~~" Kamijou did not like how she sounded, and so did Index.

"You owe her, Human?"

"Yeah she was the main reason I was able to get all the groceries."

"Judging by the amount, it must of costed a lot"

Othinus wondered how much help Fae gave.

"It was 500, i would've been able to cover it myself but I lost the special coupon!"

"And how did that happen, Touma"

"I was running too fast and dropped it!"

Kamijou let out a sigh and looked at Fae

"What's the favor I owe you?"

"Oh don't worry about, only time will tell~~~~~"

With the sound of her voice Othinus would have a guess in mind.

"Also I've been wondering, what kind of doll is that?~"

Fae seemed to have taken interest in Othinus.

"Oh… I got her from a doll maker"

Kamijou didn't sound too confident in his answer.

Fae got up and and moved towards Othinus who was seated in her small chair, she had long finished her food.

Kamijou realized his backstory for Othinus was flawed because he had told it to the wrong person. He had forgotten that she was a scientist.

"I wonder if it has ALL the parts~~~"

Othinus realizing what she meant slowly got up and moved back, she had to find an escape fast. She had to rely upon an enemy of hers.

"Feline be my stead! And I'll let you carry me!!"

Sphynx who had been finished eating perked up and his ears twitched.

He sprung into action, moving and jumping to get to Othinus.

Sphynx clumped on Othinus, who found his breath to be unhygienic, and flanged her into the air, she landed on his back.

Othinus hoisted him like a horse, he looked like a horse that was charging into an epic battle.

He ran away with Othinus, they hid under the table.

"A little dramatic much~~"

"Well that was something" Kamijou had never seen Othinus rely on her 'worst enemy'.

Kamijou went to pick up the plates so he can wash them. It all ways amazes him how Index leaves a clean plate.

He picked Fae's and Inde's plates.

"Hand me the plates~"

"Huh?

"I'm not asking, hand me them"

Kamijou didn't want to argue with Fae, "ok here" he handed them over to her.

"It's a woman's job to clean, don't disturb me~"

He watched as she washed the dishes, [is she an old fashioned woman?]

"Touma, is she going to be a regular here"

Index did not try to lower her voice, she looked annoyed.

"Umm… no?"

"Touma's becoming a push over"

"Indeed, get her out of here" Othinus could be heard form under the table.

"Alright I'm done~~~" Kamijou looked at her in confusion, had they been talking longer than he thought? He was sure he just gave her the plates. Looking to her left he could see the plates, they were all clean even Othinuses.

"I'll be taking my leave~"

"Ok… oh thanks for washing them" Kamijou looked at her with gratitude.

Fae simply began to walk to the front door but she stopped next to Kamijou.

"You can call me anytime~~~"

"But I don't have your number"

"Oh I left it on a piece of paper on Contour~~~~"

Kamijou's thoughts were of how great it would be to have her help around here, but that thought was interrupted by Index.

"Toummmmaaaa!" She pounced on him biting his head.

Fae laughed and left Kamijou to deal with Index.
