Queen Moon's Revenge cleared Glee Anselm's upper atmosphere in short order. The ship's sleek and pointed design made it very aerodynamic and therefore fast while in atmosphere.

"Alright, back to Mewni we go," said Tom. He yawned. "Hopefully we can catch a little sleep while we're in hyperspace." He looked over at Janna. She was staring straight ahead through the viewscreen, slumped down in the seat, her hands loosely gripping the control yoke. She didn't appear to have heard him. "Janna?"

She blinked. "Huh? Oh, yeah. Sure."

"Something on your mind?"

Janna sighed. "I was just wondering if there was something else we could do to help before we go back."

"Like what?"

"I don't know, like get more weapons or something. There has to be something we can do to give the Mewmans a fighting chance."

Tom crossed his arms and slunk down in the seat, disgruntled. "I almost had a whole army of bounty hunters to help us…"

Janna's eyes popped wide open. She sat up straight in the seat. "Pony Head!"

"Wheep zop!" the astromech answered.

"Chart a new course. We're not going back to Mewni."

"We're not?" Tom asked, surprised.

"Nope. We're gonna go on a little side mission first."

"To where?"

Janna answered his question by addressing PY-HD. "Set course for Felucia, Pony."

"Felucia?" Tom wondered aloud. "What in the galaxy for?"

Janna smirked to herself. "You'll see."

Star felt as though she would collapse if she stayed awake for even one second longer. She, Buff Frog, Rosado, Eddie, and Lavabo had spent the better part of the night dragging yadda-yadda'ed Mewmans back to camp. As Rosado had predicted, the Imperials had assumed the prisoners to be dead, and "disposed" of them by tossing them outside the compound walls, fearing contamination. For once, the plan had gone off without a hitch. Unfortunately, everyone had forgotten to take into account how they would then retrieve the frozen Mewmans, which meant many hours spent dragging the rock-solid bodies back to camp.

Star gently laid the last freed Mewman out flat (as flat as possible) alongside all the others and then abruptly fell to her knees, physically unable to stand any longer. She could already feel her eyelids dragging down. Her breaths came heavy and ragged.

A hand touched her shoulder. She looked up. Buff Frog smiled down at her warmly.

"Good job, Star Butterfly."

"Thanks, Buff Frog."

"You look exhausted. You should rest."

"…Mhm…"

"There is a bedroll for you in my tent."

"…Okay…"

But Star did not move.

"Star?"

"Yeah?"

"You must sleep."

"I know."

"Yet you do not move."

"Uh-huh…"

"Why not?"

"…because I can't feel my legs."

Buff Frog smiled. Despite the fact that he could easily carry three or four Mewmans at once and Star could only move one at a time, she had probably carried just as many prisoners back to camp as he had. What she lacked in size and muscle mass, she made up for in speed.

He bent down and gently scooped the princess into his arms. Carrying her to his tent, he set the princess down on a bedroll. He was fairly certain she had already fallen asleep before her head even touched the ground.

"Sleep well, Star Butterfly."

An indicator light on Toffee's desk flashed, alerting him of an incoming transmission. He connected the communicate, and the holoprojector illuminated. "Greetings, Grand Moff Tarkin. To what do I owe the pleasure?"

"Your so-called purge troopers arrived yesterday, Moff," Tarkin replied, eliminating pleasantries. "I admit, they are quite impressive, though I find myself wondering if they are worth the expense. That armor cannot have been cheap."

"Trust me, Grand Moff, they are worth it. The Emperor himself agrees. They are the ultimate anti-Jedi combatants. They will serve you well."

"I expect there will be more?"

"Armor is being crafted as we speak. I believe, however, that I have exhausted my supply of qualified candidates to fill that armor."

"Worry not about the soldiers. Focus on producing the armor and equipment, and I will find troops to wear it."

"Many thanks, Grand Moff."

The holoprojector flickered off. Toffee had, of course, not wanted to send his troops off-world until Princess Butterfly returned, but the orders to transfer his purge troopers to Coruscant had come straight from Lord Vader himself, and so Toffee had no choice but to comply.

The door to Moff Toffee's office slid open just as he was raising his teacup to his mouth. He glared as the intruder approached his desk. "I don't recall giving you permission to enter, Commander. You are interrupting my breakfast."

"Well, excuse me, Moff, but it couldn't wait!" Loveberry set down her own miniature holoprojector on the desk. It illuminated immediately, and a four-inch-tall human male clad in the uniform of an Imperial officer appeared.

"Yes, Lieutenant?" His tone made it clear that he was not in the mood for prolonged discussion.

The officer stumbled over his words. "I have a…situation…to report, Moff."

"Have you been attacked?"

The officer visibly swallowed. "I'm…not sure, Sir."

Toffee set down his tea. "Please enlighten me…How can one be unsure if they have been attacked or not?"

"Well, Sir…last night when we brought our prisoners in for third meal…" He swallowed hard again, appearing as though he were trying to get a lump of duracrete down his throat. "They dropped dead."

The Lieutenant had been expecting a reaction, likely anger, from the Moff. Instead, the furrow in Toffee's brow merely deepened. "Dead?"

"Yes, Sir. Dead."

"How many of them?"

"…All of them."

"All of them, you say? Every single one?"

"Correct, Sir."

"Were autopsies conducted?"

The Lieutenant grimaced. He shifted uncomfortably. "…No…uh, no, Sir. We lacked proper isolation gear against such a fast-acting pathogen to perform such research, and-"

"Is there anything you can tell me about the nature of the prisoners' deaths, Lieutenant?"

The officer winced, knowing what he was about to say sounded ridiculous. "…It was as if they had turned to stone, Sir."

"Stone."

"Yes, Sir."

At last, Toffee scowled. "They aren't dead. They've been yadda yadda'ed."

The Lieutenant blinked in disbelief. "I'm sorry, Sir?"

"It's a foolish ploy to make them appear dead. Lock the 'cadavers' in their cells. They'll regain consciousness soon enough."

"Uh…okay, yes, Sir, right away, Sir."

The holoprojector blinked out. Toffee returned to his breakfast, feeling rather smug that he had foiled the rebels' plan.

When the Lieutenant made contact again roughly fifteen minutes later to explain that the bodies had already vanished from where they had been disposed of, the Septarian's rage was untethered.

Janna found a clearing amongst the tall and colorful flora large enough to land Queen Moon's Revenge and told PY-HD to stay with the ship as she and Tom disembarked.

"Soooo…we're here now," said Tom. "Are you gonna tell me why, or…?"

"C'mon, Tom, you seriously haven't figured it out yet?"

Tom froze in his tracks and blinked. "…Did you…?"

Janna looked puzzled. "What?"

"You…you just called me 'Tom.'"

"Uh." Janna quickly turned away as her face turned bright red. "You don't recognize where we are, Lucy?"

Tom looked around. "Should I?"

"Oh, for crying out loud…" Janna stomped away, and Tom had to hurry to catch up. "Lucy, what is the only reason we've ever come to Felucia?"

"To pick up cargo for Ludo."

Janna tapped the side of her head.

"Ohhhhh. We're here to see Ludo."

"Yup."

"How do you know he'll even be here?"

"When he isn't on Coruscant…or visiting Jabba the Hutt, apparently…he's always here. I figure we've got about an eighty/twenty chance he's here."

"Oh. Why didn't we just land at the compound then?"

"Because he doesn't know we're coming, and we're not in the Raventalon. I didn't want to spook him and risk getting shot down."

"Good point."

Soon enough, a complex of buildings emerged from the foliage. They were simple, rectangular structures with little decorum, but very sturdy and well built. The largest, Janna knew, was the sugar seeds greenhouse, where Ludo's crop was grown. Ignoring it, they headed straight for the building containing living quarters and Ludo's office, but suddenly found themselves intercepted by three of Ludo's goons.

"Where do you think you're going?" asked one head of a red-skinned being with two heads.

"We're here to see Ludo, duh," Janna scoffed, rolling her eyes.

"The boss ain't taking visitors," said a weequay, brandishing his blaster. Tom took a tiny step backwards.

"We aren't visitors," Janna said firmly. "We're here on very important business. And I'm sure 'The Boss' will not appreciate you interfering."

The goons glanced between themselves. "Ludo didn't tell us he had any business associates coming by today," the other head of the red-skinned being said. "He would have told us."

"He has been acting a little strange ever since he got back from his trip to Tatooine," said the third henchman, a muscular humanoid with bluish skin, a thick beard, and antlers protruding from the top of his head. "Maybe he just forgot to tell us."

"Probably. So uh…" Janna gestured toward the living quarters. "If you please?"

Four heads atop three beings nodded. "Alright, follow us."

Ludo sighed as he counted the stacks of credit chips. Sixteen thousand four hundred and seventy-five - same as the last six times he had counted. He had no reason to be rechecking his math so many times, he just had no motivation to do anything else.

From his smaller desk nearby, Dennis frowned. "Big brother, are you doing okay?"

"Yes!" Ludo snapped defensively. "Why wouldn't I be?"

"You've seemed really down ever since you came back from Tatooine. Did something happen while you were away?"

"No! Absolutely nothing happened!" He shoved the stacked credit chips into a camtono and locked it. "R7!"

The battered astromech whirred noisily as it rolled from the corner and parked itself in front of Ludo's desk. The little bird man held the storage container up to the droid. "Take this to the vault!"

The droid extended a thin arm from the front of its cylindrical body and grasped the camtono by the handle. It whistled a confirmation of its orders and rolled away for the door.

Ludo swiveled so Dennis could not see him. He sighed again, slumping down into his pillow-raised chair. I do not like this feeling. I want it to go away. Go away, feeling!

The door slid open to allow the astromech to exit the office, and several beings burst from the corridor.

"Hello, Ludo," greeted a familiar voice.

Ludo bolted upright. "Captain Ordonia?!"

"I'm here, too," put in Tom. "Me? The guy whose name you never remember?"

"Not the time, Lucy," Janna whispered through gritted teeth.

Ludo jumped from his chair onto the desk. "What is the meaning of this?!" he yelled at his henchmen. "I specifically told you: NO! VISITORS!"

"We're sorry, boss," began Beard Deer. "She said you-"

"It's not their fault, Ludo," Janna interrupted. "I tricked them."

"Hey!" the offended henchmen chorused.

Janna ignored them, leaning over the desk right in Ludo's face. "Sorry for intruding, but we had to come talk to you…Prince Avarius," she whispered.

Ludo shrank back. "…Star Butterfly told you."

Janna nodded. "She needs your help."

Ludo looked past her. "You three!" he barked at the monsters. "Get out of my office!"

"Yes, Boss! Right away, Boss!" The henchmen crashed into each other and tried to squeeze through the door all at once, bounced back, and finally exited the office. Tom tried hard not to smile. Dennis audibly chuckled.

Ludo stared hard into Janna's eyes. "I already told Star Butterfly that I cannot help her. Besides…Mewni turned its back on me. Why should I go back?"

"Are you kidding? You would be a hero!"

"Yeah!" put in Tom. "Imagine it! The banished Prince Avarius returning to help Princess Butterfly win back your home! Uniting the kingdoms of Mewni and banishing the Empire from your homeworld!"

Ludo sighed. "As good as that sounds…I'm afraid I can't help you. Call me a coward if you like, I don't care." He flopped down into his chair and quickly swiveled away from Janna. "Star asked me to come with you all back on Tatooine. I told her that I can't fight, and I meant it."

"Anyone can hold a blaster," said Tom.

Ludo swiveled back. "I actually can't. I, um…don't weigh enough. Most blasters are heavier than I am and I just…fall over. I'm sorry. Mewni isn't my home anymore. Star Butterfly will just have to handle it on her own."

Dennis winced as if in pain.

"Look, Ludo," Janna continued, "We came here to see you, but it wasn't so much you specifically whose help we were interested in so much as we want to hire your henchmen."

"My minions? You want to hire them?"

"Star needs an army to retake Mewni. She has some, but they're ill-equipped and most aren't even trained. You, on the other hand, actually have an army of fighters."

Ludo blinked. "I don't see what incentive you can offer that will make them want to fly to another planet that isn't theirs to fight and probably die."

"Incentive? Ludo, Star's dad gave me and Tom a case full of credits as a thank you for saving Star from the purge on Coruscant. If we win the day, I'm positive Star can find some way to make it worth their while."

"If you want to try to convince them based on the promise of 'maybe' getting paid 'if everyone doesn't die', be my guest. But I will be staying right here."

Janna was a bit disappointed. She had been hoping that she could convince Ludo to return to Mewni and he would enlist his army to join the cause. But she supposed she would take what she could get. "Alright. Thanks, Ludo."

Janna turned to leave. Tom gave a nod of farewell and made to follow her.

"Wait!"

For a moment, Janna thought Ludo had changed his mind, but to her surprise, it was actually Dennis who had stood up from his desk.

"I'm coming with you!"

Ludo's hard expression abruptly softened. "Dennis? What are you doing?"

"Mewni is my home, too, Big Brother. You may not care about it anymore, but I still do." He turned his attention back to Tom and Janna, offering his hand for Captain Ordonia to shake. "I hereby volunteer my services to Princess Butterfly's rebellion."

Janna firmly clasped his hand. "Glad to have you on board."

"I don't have as much sway with the henchmen as Ludo does, but I'll try to help you convince some of Ludo's gang to come along, too."

"Dennis…?" Ludo squeaked.

Janna was surprised. She had come to Felucia with only Ludo in mind. But, she supposed Dennis might be just as good an option. "Why, thank you, Dennis. Let's get going."

"Wait, Dennis!" Ludo called. "Wait! Come back!"

But the words fell on deaf ears. The trio were already out the door, following Dennis as he lead the way.

"Whatdaya mean 'They all escaped'!"

Toffee stood from the desk, clasping his hands behind his back. He had regained his composure since first hearing of the Mewman prisoners' escape. "It is probably more accurate to say that they were broken out, but now is not the time to debate semantics. Now is the time to take detrimental action." He turned away toward the window.

Mina raised an eyebrow. "Look, Moff, I ain't arguing with ya and all, but if ya kill all the Mewmans off, who's gonna make the purge trooper armor?"

"I am not going to kill them all. Though a great many of them will likely die." He turned back to Mina. "First we must find them. I have just received a pair of probe droids from Imperial command. Have them deployed immediately."

Mina saluted. "You got it, boss!" And she bounded from the room.

Toffee turned back to the window. There's no way the rebels were able to sneak yadda yadda berries in from the outside past all of the added security. This wasn't them. I don't know how she slipped past the blockade, but she's here. She must be.

Ludo shook his head. This is never going to work, Dennis… He stood at the back of the crowd, watching as his brother attempted a rallying speech to inspire the hired muscle to join his cause. It was going…poorly.

"C'mon, guys!" Dennis tried to say over the mutters and jeering. "Just think of all the innocent people- the families! The children! -that have been driven from their homes by the Empire!"

"I'll think about 'em if you pay me to!" yelled a voice from the crowd, and the others responded in kind. They jeered at Dennis and called him insulting names, questioning his honor and demanding his position within the organization be stripped. To the side, Tom and Janna stood watching, feeling quite bad for Dennis.

Ludo felt his blood boil. He cared for his little brother more than any other being in the galaxy. At last, he could take it no more. Almost without even realizing what his own body was doing, Ludo marched to the front of the crowd, scampered up Dennis's legs and torso like a small rodent climbing a tree, and stood on his brother's shoulder.

"SHUT UP!"

The thugs abruptly fell silent.

"How dare you treat my brother this way! You all should be ashamed of yourselves!"

The hired guns shuffled uncomfortably. "Sorry, Boss," several quietly muttered.

"Now listen up, you filthy maggots! My brother and I are leaving to fight for our home world!"

Tom and Janna grinned excitedly.

Dennis gasped, smiling ear-to-ear. "You mean it, Big Brother?"

"Yeah, well…" He affectionately nudged his elbow against Dennis's cheek. "You stayed by my side when I left Mewni. It's only right that I stand by yours when you return."

"Awww…"

Ludo turned his attention back to the crowd. "Now, I will give you all a choice. You can either come with us and join the fight and I'll pay each of you triple your normal salary on top of whatever reward you might receive from Princess Butterfly, or you can leave right now and never find yourself in my employ ever again. And before you move, let me tell you that ninety percent of you would not last five minutes without a blaster bolt penetrating your skulls working for any of the major crime syndicates, or, Force help you, Jabba the Hutt. So I advise you to choose carefully!"

For a moment, there was silence. Janna felt her heart sink. Ludo's rallying speech (or threat, either definition was accurate) had not worked.

But then…

"I'm with you, Master Ludo!"

From the center of the crowd, a huge red claw was thrust into the air. A being bearing the appearance of a giant, red lobster clad in only a pair of purple shorts and an ammo belt slung across his shoulders pushed his way to the front. Tom recognized him. "Hey, he was at Ludo's hideout on Coruscant the night of Order 66."

The big lobster snapped a salute. "I am ready to serve, Master Ludo!"

"Thank you, Lobster Claws. Any other volunteers or are you all cowardly traders?"

Two more thugs stepped forward. Then three more. Then more, and more, until every last one of Ludo's three-dozen or so thugs had stepped forward, their enthusiasm and excitement growing. Many flexed their muscles, smacked an open palm against the knuckles of their fist, high-fived, chest-bumped, and fired blasters into the air.

Ludo looked at Tom and Janna and smiled. They grinned back and applauded. He sat down on Dennis's shoulder, a wing around his brother's neck to hold on. "There isn't a moment to lose! Grab everything you can carry from the armory! We've got a planet to liberate!"

"YEAHHHH!" came an almost deafening cheer, and the thugs hurried away.

Janna winked at Tom. "I'll go start the engines."

Star was roused awake by Buff Frog gently shaking her shoulder. He smiled warmly at her, offering a steaming bowl of food. "Breakfast, Star Butterfly? Or, uh, lunch at this point, I suppose."

Star blinked, rubbing the sleep from her eyes. "How long was I asleep?"

"Approximately ten hours."

Star sat up and stretched, sore from sleeping on the hard ground despite the bedroll. Suddenly acutely aware of her empty stomach, she gratefully accepted the food from Buff Frog, shoveling the food into her mouth and barely even chewing before gulping it down. She wasn't even sure what it was, and didn't much care. When she had finished, she took the general's hand and he hauled her to her feet. "How are the prisoners doing? Have they started waking up yet?"

Buff Frog nodded. "Only a handful still frozen."

"Good. I guess now we have to figure out our next move."

"Yes. Let us find Plant Man and Imperial Traitor."

"How come you call everyone by a nickname but you call me by my full name every single time?"

Buff Frog shrugged. "Because you are princess?"

They left the tent and wandered the camp, which was significantly more crowded than before. Star noticed that she was receiving far fewer glaring looks of disapproval. Some of the Mewmans even smiled and gave a small wave. I guess freeing a bunch of prisoners does your reputation good.

They soon found Eddie and Rosado, sitting by the largest cooking fire in the camp with a dozen other Mewmans. Eddie was as bright and chipper as always. Rosado appeared half asleep, spooning his breakfast into his mouth on muscle memory alone.

"'Morning, Princess!" Eddie greeted. "Sleep well?"

"Very. Um, Hovis, you look like you're about to fall over."

The older man yawned. "Sleeping on the ground is…not fun."

"Where's Lavabo?"

"Over there," Eddie pointed. Some distance away beneath the shade of a half-tent, Lavabo was crouched on the ground, surrounded by at least two dozen Mewmans. All were rescued prisoners whom had just awoken from their yadda yadda comas. "Attending to some of the prisoners' ailments."

Star smiled. "A laundry knight of many talents."

"So, Princess!" Eddie said excitedly as Star took a seat on a log beside him. "Now that all the prisoners have been rescued, what's next?"

"I, uh…I'm not really sure." She turned, looking up at Buff Frog standing behind her. "I was actually kinda hoping that you would have a suggestion. Ya know…'cause you're the general."

Buff Frog folded his arms. "Well…we are outnumbered and outgunned. Our only hope is to have element of surprise. We need to have good plan. Very good plan."

Rosado stretched his arms, trying to wake up. "Janna told me how you guys escaped from the castle, through the laundry room. Could we sneak back in the same way and take out Toffee?"

The General thoughtfully rubbed his chin. "Perhaps. But we would probably need a distraction in order to get that close to castle."

Eddie perked up. "Ooh! I'm great at distractions! A big explosion will probably do the trick! Have we any more explosives, General?"

"A few. Not many."

"I bet Janna has some stashed aboard the Raventalon," Rosado put in. He glanced at Star, noticing that she had thus far remained silent. She appeared to not even be listening, a deep frown etched upon her face as her head rapidly darted about, seemingly looking over the camp toward its edge. "Star?"

"Something doesn't feel right…" she said quietly.

Eddie jumped to his feet. Buff Frog and Rosado tensed. "What is it?" the general asked. "Do you sense something?"

"I'm not sure…something feels…off."

Buff Frog looked to Eddie. "Alert Sir Lavabo. We must secure perimeter of camp."

The plant man snapped a salute. "Aye aye, General!" He turned toward where Lavabo had just been a few moments ago, but the Knight of the Wash was nowhere to be seen. "Hey! Where'd he get to?"

As if on cue, the sound of rapid blaster fire echoed across the camp. Star took off running in the direction of the commotion, the others not far behind her. As she neared the outskirts of the camp, Star could see Lavabo running toward the tree line, still firing his rotary canon at a large, black shape as it disappeared into the woods.

"Lavabo!" Star cried. "Lavabo, what is it?!"

"It is a probe droid!"

"A probe droid?!" Buff Frog echoed. "It will give away our position!"

"Not if I can help it!" Star ignited Marco's lightsaber and hurled it like a javelin into the trees. The glowing green blade disappeared into the trees, and not far behind it, Star, never breaking stride, raced past Lavabo and dove into the brush. Her own lightsaber now in her hand, she hacked and slashed at the vines and brambles, following the path of Marco's lightsaber.

And then…there it was, lying in a thicket of brambles and dead leaves. Sparks showered from the gash torn into the side of the Imperial probe droid's half-spherical head, the spindly limbs protruding from the underside of its body bent from its collision with the ground. Star took a cautious step closer, and as she did so, a pair of long, thin antennae retracted into the head. She knew what that meant. The droid was still active, and it had just finished transmitting a signal.

Star sighed and vertically bisected the droid with her laser sword. She found Marco's lightsaber, blade extinguished, laying a short ways away and made her way back to camp.

Buff Frog, Lavabo, Rosado, and Eddie watched Star emerge from the woods, trudging back to where they stood.

"Did you-?" Eddie began.

"Yeah, I got it. Too late," Star grumbled. "The Empire definitely knows where we are now."

No words were exchanged, but none were required.

Toffee heard the door to his office slide open behind him. Normally, this would evoke annoyance, but he knew what this intrusion likely meant.

"Moff! We found 'em!" Mina announced loudly.

Toffee turned away from the window, his mouth already curling into a grin. "Oh?" He noted the excited smirk on Loveberry's lips.

"Yeah! And that ain't the only good news!"

"Go on, Commander."

Mina practically bounced with excitement. "The probe that found them was destroyed just after relaying its signal!"

"I fail to see how that is good news."

Mina's smile stretched ear-to-ear. "It reported that the damage it sustained before being destroyed was inflicted by a lightsaber."

"So the princess is here, just as I suspected."

"She sure is, Moff! We'd better go after 'em before they get away!"

"Indeed." Toffee turned back to the window, observing the Imperial armaments standing at the ready below. Stormtroopers milled about performing their patrols and routine tasks. "Mobilize the troops, Commander. And prepare the heavy artillery."

"How much of the heavy stuff you want?"

"All of it!"

"We have to move camp, immediately!" Buff Frog crossed his arms in disgust. "We have lost the element of surprise."

"Not necessarily," said Rosado. "The Empire might be on their way here, but they won't be expecting an ambush when they arrive."

"…That is good point. Buff Frog had not thought of that. But if we are planning attack, we must do it quickly. They will arrive here much faster than we can move."

"I think I have might have an idea."

All eyes turned to Star. The princess wasted no time in elaborating. "But we'll need explosives."

Lavabo nodded. "We have some, but our supplies are low. How much would you require?"

"Quite a bit. Like Hovis said, I'm sure Janna has some aboard the Raventalon we can grab."

"We will have to be very quick if we are to recover them," said Buff Frog.

Eddie snapped his fingers. "I'll get there and back quick like a pig-goat with its tail on fire! Just tell me where to find 'em!"

"In the back of the cargo hold, there's a false bulkhead panel," said Star. "Janna hides most of her weaponry there."

"Got it! I suspect that by the time I get back, you'll not be here any longer?"

Star turned to Buff Frog. "Got a holomap?"The general did, on a handheld holoprojector. He triggered it on, and Star pointed. "Bring all the explosives we can get our hands on to this spot right here."

Buff Frog smiled. The spot to which Star had pointed was a narrow passageway through a steep hill, the walls of the ravine steep and rocky. "I believe I see what you are getting at, Star Butterfly. Is good plan."

Star beamed. "We line the ridge with explosives and lead the Imps straight through."

"If we wait to detonate until right moment," said Buff Frog, "we can take out the whole middle of column. Front segment will be cut off from reinforcements in rear and easier for us to defeat. Rear of column will take long time to find way around. May even be able to surprise attack them, too, if we defeat front segment quickly."

"Divide and conquer, I like it," Rosado said with a nod.

"Not only that," Star continued, "it moves us in the direction of the castle, with Skywynne Airbase on the far side."

Buff Frog nodded. "Capturing Castle will be easier than capturing air base, and give us a stronghold to use in battle against whatever Imperial troops remain at base." He patted Star on the back. "Is good plan. Let us not waste any time."

Eddie snapped a salute. "I'll go recover the explosives from the ship!" He took off for the woods.

Sir Lavabo saluted, as well. "And I will ready the troops to march. Once we reach the chasm, I will find the best spot to mount the explosives and begin placing them." He, too, hurried away.

"I don't really have combat training, but how can I help?" Rosado asked.

Buff Frog handed him a pair of macrobinoculars. "Head toward the airbase a few klicks and keep watch. Alert me via commlink when the enemy comes into view."

"I can definitely do that."

Buff Frog pocketed the holomap as Rosado left. "I have one concern about plan, Star."

She raised an eyebrow. "What's that?"

"How will we be sure that enemy will march through chasm?"

"Oh, that's the best part. We'll use the best bait imaginable that Moff Toffee and his cohort of evil simply will not be able to resist chasing."

"…I am almost afraid to ask."

Star's lightsabers suddenly ignited, the glowing emerald blades crossed behind her back. "Me!"
