Prologue

Mattias was sitting out over the porch of the main lodge that evening, cleaning his rifle. The campsite more quieter then it had ever been. North and Tooth had got into the city to bring their Nephew and Niece's and their friend's luggage's. While Ingrid was inside the lodge, working on her research. Everything that had happened in the passed few days, being involved with a cooperate espionage, having to be held against their will by mercenaries. It had only been a few days and yet it was almost as if it never happened.

Wiping the barrels of the riffle with a cloth, he then glanced up to the campsite. He then sighed.

"Never thought I would miss the peace and quiet around here." He said.

"I almost forgot how much of a hassle it is to have company, hey Balto?"

He then heard Balto whimpering. He glanced down at the husky hybrid, who was staring forward toward the trail. Mattias smirked, lowering the rifle onto his lap.

"Still thinking about that girl husky, huh Balto?" He asked.

Balto narrowed his eyes, uttering a small whimper before placing his head down over his front paws. It had been several days since Jenna and her owner had left for the city. And from the sound of it, it would seem like she was never coming back. He overheard Ingrid talking with North and Tooth. It seemed Jack, Anna, Kristoff, Jenna and Tadashi were going back to San Francisco tonight. Which meant that this would be the last time she would ever see her again.

Mattias reached down his hand and petted his head.

"I know, Boy, I know." He said.

"Don't worry, there's plenty of other dogs out there."

The sound of a jeeps engine could then be heard in the distance, catching the ears of Balto which then twitched atop his head. He raised his head from his paws, peering forward. It was getting louder. Mattias glanced over and saw the headlights of North's Jeep peering through the darkness. The door behind them then opened as Ingrid stepped outside of the lodge. She then made her way down the steps as Balto and Mattias followed suit.

The jeep pulled up to the lodge as North and Tooth stepped out of the vehicle.

"We're back!" Tooth proclaimed, shutting the door behind them.

"How are they?" Ingrid asked, curiously.

"They're fine, they're on the plane heading back to the states." North insisted to them.

"Jack is going to be transferred to a hospital as soon as they're back in San Francisco. How are things here?"

"Quite, more so then usual." Mattias insisted, placing his hands over his side.

"Any word from the rangers about the mercenaries? North asked.

Mattias shook his head.

"No word yet." he insisted.

North groaned, narrowing his eyes to the side. He then turned and walked over to the middle of the campsite. Tooth, Ingrid and Mattias glanced to him, hearing the tone of anger in his voice.

"Is everything alright?" Ingrid asked, curiously.

Tooth turned to them, frowning.

"We had a argument with Jill and her husband." Tooth claimed to them.

"Oh." Ingrid said.

Tooth glanced back at North, who stood at the center of the campsite. She came up next to her husband, placing her hands over his shoulder. North glanced back to her, frowning. The same look he had back when Jack was lost in the jungle those years ago.

The sound of rustling foliage came from the nearby jungle. The two then glanced up to the nearby jungle. Only to see that there was nothing there. What followed was a moment of silence. And then they heard it again. This time it seemed to be coming from above. North and Tooth glanced up at the treetops above, where they saw a strange figured perched over the branch above. Next to them, what appeared to be a large black panther.

North came up in front of Tooth, placing her arm in front of her.

"Who's there?" He asked.

The figure then leaped down from the branch above. Along with the panther as landed before them. North and Tooth saunter back from them. Mattias, Balto and Ingrid quickly came up. Balto growled at first, bearing his canines to the figure hidden within the shows. Only to then paused as he raised his head, whimpering. Something which did not go unnoticed by Ingrid, who glanced up to the figure.

She then turned to North and the others.

"It's okay, it's her!" she said, reaching out to them.

North, Tooth and Mattias glanced to her, curiously for a moment. They then shifted their gaze back at the figure, who stepped out into the light. In the light, the figure was revealed to be a familiar young woman with long icy blond hair, wearing what looked to be a white tiger fur bikini. The black Panther coming up next to her.

Tooth came out from behind North.

"You!" Tooth said.

"What are you doing here?"

"I came to see Jack." Elsa said.

"Is he safe? Is he alright?"

Ingrid frowned upon her mentioning Jack's name. Tooth nodded her head to her.

"Yes, he's safe," Tooth insisted to her.

"Whatever you did, it saved his life. We can't thank you enough."

Elsa breathed a sigh of relief to hear that her mate was okay.

"Anyway, he Anna and their friends are flying back to San Francisco tonight." North said.

"Their family is going to have him transferred to a hospital once their back."

The feeling of relief Elsa had one moment was replaced with heartbreak. She glanced to the side, frowning. She was happy to hear that Jack was Okay and would return to his family safely. But also knew very well that she might never see him again. Although she knew it was for the best, it still did not make the pain she felt go away.

"Everything is as it should be." She said, frowning.

Elsa then turned back to North and Tooth.

"I'm glad that you are all safe." She said.

Tooth turned back to the wild woman.

"Before he left, Jack told us to tell you something," Tooth insisted to her.

"He wanted us to tell you that... he loves you."

Hearing the words of her mate spoken to her, Elsa felt her heart mend. She turned away for a moment, placing her hand over her chest, her cheeks blushing a bright red.

"He also made us promise not to tell anyone about you or what happened here." North insisted to her.

"If there's anything we can do for you, please don't be afraid to ask." Tooth proclaimed to her.

There was a moment pause from Elsa, having been given such a kind offer from Jack's aunt. She shifted her eyes to Bagheera. The panther in turned glanced up to her. With the news of Jack and the others now given, there now stood another matter. With man having invaded the jungle, what she wanted was for her and the jungle's people to be left in peace. To never again be involved with the affairs of man.

"There is." Elsa claimed, turning back to them.

"I ask that you and your people to stay away and leave us alone."

Tooth glanced to North and Mattias, curiously.

"What?" Mattias asked.

"You ask how you can repay me," Elsa insisted to them.

"You can repay me by staying away from me and my family. The west part of the jungle is close to you and all your people."

North was appalled by the demands of the jungle woman. He then shook his head.

"But that is outrage!" North exclaimed.

It was right at that moment that Ingrid stepped up and came up before Elsa. She turned to North and the others, extending a hand to them. She then turned back to Elsa.

"If that is what you want." Ingrid insisted to her.

Elsa nodded her head to her.

"Thank you." she said.

North sighed in utter contempt, narrowing his head.

"But, what will you do?" Tooth asked, curiously.

Elsa turned back, gazing off into the jungle.

"My place is in the jungle," Elsa proclaimed to them.

"It's where I belong. So it is where I will stay."

Elsa turned forward as she and Bagheera disappeared into the jungle and dark of the night.
