Tech and Mila stood in the kitchen with the best men and maid of honor at the Naboo palace as six covers were over what would be the sweetest part of wedding planning: cake tasting!

"Hope you're hungry," said Mirabel. "Because the three best bakeries in Encanto…"

"And the best bakeries in this galaxy," said Hunter. "Sent wedding cakes to sample."

"Cake day is officially my favorite day," said Mila. "That is…. Until the day I see my wedding dress."

Mirabel chuckled and said, "You'll see your vestido de boda when we actually make it. But right now, we have work to do."

The first cake was uncovered. It was a four tier cake with black icing covered with sparkling silver stars and a little topper that looked like the Marauder.

"Is that supposed to be our ship?" Hunter said.

"Yup," said Mila. "The design could use some work though."

"I don't see anything related to you on this cake." Tech said.

"But, it could be delicious."

So, being the couple of the hour, Tech and Mila took the first taste, but both ended up having a look they were going to throw up on their faces.

"Not…. good." Mila said.

"Very bland yet flavored horribly." Tech said.

Mirabel took a taste and… "Bleh!"

"Yuck!" Wrecker said. Even he didn't like the cake.

"If Wrecker doesn't like it." Crosshair said, not bothering to taste for himself. "That's a bad cake."

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure Chika could make a better cake, and she's a dog." Mila said. She looked at her groom. "Next cake?"

"Absolutely."

The next cake looked nice. It was a lovely cake with white frosting, gold writing with T+M as the centerpiece, and part of it was made to look like the couple kissing.

"Hmm. This is… a little odd." Tech said.

"Well, you asked for me, and here I am." Mila said. "Let's see how it tastes."

So, the couple took a taste, and it tasted much better.

"Mila, your hair tastes… delicious." Tech said. "Very silky chocolate with peanut butter."

"Delicioso!" Mirabel said, taking a taste of Cake Mila's forehead. "Best chocolate ever!"

"Just wait until you guys try Tech's hair. They spun butterscotch like cotton candy so it melts in your mouth." Mila said. "But, let's see what the next one has in store."

For the final Encanto cake, the design looked fairly simple. It had green frosting made to look like leaves with little red roses and yellow butterflies on it.

"Aw, look at this." Mila said. "Tech, do you remember that date we had in the park?"

"That date was rather embarrassing."

"Why?" Echo said.

"Tech and I were watching butterflies, then Tech and I followed one as I joked about how it could be us playing there with our future children someday, and then Tech tripped and fell into a rose bush and got covered in pollen and petals."

The guys thought it sounded funny that a butterfly could've led Tech to fall into a bunch of roses. Luckily, he didn't get too badly scratched.

"Let's see if the taste isn't quite as embarrassing though." Tech said.

Everyone took a taste. Vanilla cake with lemon custard. Pretty good, but they still had three more. Tech was about to put the taste of the fourth cake in his mouth, when he caught a whiff of something that made his eyes go wide, and made him slap the fork from Mila's hand.

"Mila, don't eat that!" Tech exclaimed. "It has raspberries in it!"

Mila gasped and then sighed with relief.

"Dios mio!" Mila breathed. "Thank God you stopped me."

"What's wrong?" Wrecker said.

"Mila is very allergic to raspberries. I thought we clarified that with all the bakeries." Tech said.

"Well, we must've missed one. So, this one is a definite no. Red blotches and swelling are a huge no-no for brides in any wedding."

"Next cake?" Mirabel said. This time, Mirabel checked the flavor first. "No raspberries this time."

"Good."

This cake was definitely lovely. It was covered with pink frosting decorated with little strawberries cut into the shapes of roses. And when Tech and Mila took a taste, it was definitely a wonderful strawberry chocolate chip cake with vanilla custard.

"This one, is by far my favorite." Tech said, taking another bite.

"Well, the chocolate peanut butter is mine," said Mila. "Both of those will be hard to beat."

"There's one last cake." Hunter said. "And this one's from Force of Flavor. Made by a horse and a Jedi."

"Well, a horse could definitely make a better cake than the first one we tried."

The final cake was unveiled. It was a five tier cake with green frosting decorated with little frosting marigolds and purple ribbons with a big bouquet of marigolds on the top tier with a little bride and groom on top (of course, that topper was just a sample).
"Hmm. I rather like this one." Tech said.

"I love it!" Mila was practically crying. "Tech brought me a bouquet of marigolds wrapped in a purple ribbon on our first date."

"Aww, it must be a sign." Mirabel said.

The couple took a little taste of this cake, and it tasted amazing! Silky chocolate with strawberry cream custard with little bits of jogan fruit in it.

"This is the best one," Mila and Tech said at the same time.

"Somehow, I had a feeling Strawberry's bakery was gonna win." Echo chuckled.

"I think this is the cake." Mila said. "What do you think, Techy-Bear?"

"I concur. It is the perfect mix and match of things from both our worlds." Tech smiled. "And the decor is a perfect representation of where it all began."

"Leading to a happily ever after."

Mila and Tech kissed at that moment. The only thing sweeter than all the cakes combined to the two of them.

"That checks cake off the list." Mirabel said. "All that's left now Mila, is your wedding dress."

"Yes! I can't wait."

"What do we do with all this cake?" Hunter said.

"I have an idea." Mila said, getting a whole piece. "Who wants seconds?"

"I do!" Wrecker said, gobbling a big chunk of the raspberry cake, but being smart enough to take it to a safe distance so he wouldn't spill any on his future sister-in-law. "Don't worry, Mila. I'll get rid of this cake for you!"

Mila laughed and said, "You're sweet, Wrecker. And voracious, by the look of it."

"And the other thing we gotta do," said Hunter. "The bachelor party."
