This is an AU story about Ahsoka making a different decision when being asked to rejoin the order after her trial. Some slight rewriting of season six. I also like luxsoka so that is also going to be in this story. Anyway, here I go. Also, sorry I know it's not the best name.

Chapter 1 Different decision

Ahsoka stood in the centre of the council chamber with Anakin, Yoda, Obi-wan, Windu, Mundi, Saesee Tinn and Plo Koon Standing Infront of her. "Their asking you back Ahsoka, I'm asking you back" Anakin extended his hand holding Ahsoka's Padawan braid in it.

Ahsoka looked up at his face then back down and her she brought up her own hand and grabbed it out of his hand and reattached to the back of her headdress and looked back at Anakin.

Anakin smiled and put a hand on her shoulder reassuringly. Ahsoka smiled back before turning towards master Yoda "I would like to take some time off for myself"

Master Yoda nodded "of course, as much time as you need Ahsoka" Yoda smiled at her, he was never going to deny her such a simple request as that after everything.

Ahsoka gave a quick small smile and felt a hand on her back "come on Ahsoka" Anakin said to her and she turned around and walked to the turbo lift followed her master.

As they descended there was, all Anakin could call it was an awkward silence that he decided to break "I, uh" he hesitated, how do you even talk to someone who just had an experience like that.

Ahsoka just stood there with her head down slightly. "I know I already said I'm sorry, but I truly am, I wish I did more to protect you, so it didn't get this far" Anakin said with his head slightly turned to look at her.

Ahsoka didn't respond she just kept her down "it's ok, we don't have to talk if you don't want to" Anakin said.

"I will never not talk to you Anakin, but this was, it was just..." Ahsoka just sighed.

"I know, well I don't actually know but..." Anakin was cut short by Ahsoka.

"We can talk about anything but this, I'd just rather not talk about all that right now" Ahsoka said with a slight bite in her voice only slight though.

Anakin sighed "fair enough, can I least ask where you are going go while you take time off" he wondered.

The doors to the turbolift opened and they walked out "I'd rather not in the event you need me back before I'm ready, I hope you can understand that" she said as they walked in the direction the hanger so she could get into her star fighter.

"Yeah, I can understand that I won't call you back I'll wait for when you're ready" Anakin was going to respect her wishes and be as understanding as he could.

"Thank you" she said as they arrived at the hanger and walked to her starfighter.

Ahsoka sat in the cockpit of her fighter and powered it on "wherever you're going and whatever you do just be safe ok" Anakin said being as protective as usual.

Ahsoka turned her head to face him "I will, see you soon" and with that the cockpit closed, the engines fired up and she took off heading space to attach to a hyperspace ring as Anakin watched.

"I wish I could ask her, but I'll wait until she returns but how are you doing with all this" Anakin turned to the direction of the voice and it was his old master Obi-Wan.

"I'm fine I just hope she will be fine as well and stays her old self" Anakin said with a slight concern in is voice.

Obi-Wan could understand the concern coming from Anakin as a situation like this could have a massive effect on a young girl like Ahsoka, "she's strong Anakin I'm confident that she will not change and if any problem arises, I'm sure she will tell you"

"I'm sure your right" Anakin agreed Obi-Wan was right and he shouldn't worry, "so what's the next mission" he asked with a bit of excitement.

Ahsoka attached her fighter to a hyperspace ring and set the coordinates to Onderon.

Master Yoda stood in the council chambers by himself looking out the window thinking to himself about the wild events of the previous couple of days.

His gaze was distracted when he noticed a maroon coloured starfighter fly off and he sensed who was inside it and his ears dropped in sadness as he thought about Ahsoka and what she had just been through.

'Done more, done better we, I should have' he thought to himself as his fear of what Barris said of the jedi losing their way crept into his mind "happen that will not, make sure of it will I" he declared to himself.

Ahsoka came out of hyperspace at the Onderon system detached from the hyperspace ring and flew straight to the main Starport of the city of Iziz.

As soon as she landed, she got out of her ship and made her way and made her way in the direction of the palace. The palace wasn't her destination but a large multi floored luxurious apartment across the road from it.

When she got to the building a guard stopped her from going any further " stat your name and business" he demanded of her.

"My name is Ahsoka Tano of the jedi order I'm here on business and need to see the senator" she stated.

The guard lifted a commlink to his mouth and said something that Ahsoka couldn't hear. The guard got an order and stepped aside "in you go master jedi".

"Thank you, sir," Ahsoka said and walked through the door and up some stairs.

After walking up a couple stories she got to the top floor and had a look around "senator Bonterri" she said wondering where he was with a bit of excitement in her voice at seeing him again but staying formal in case anyone was around.

"Ahsoka" she heard a familiar voice call out for her.

Ahsoka turned to the direction of his voice and spotted him, and a smile came across her face as she and Lux walked toward each other "I'm very glad you could see me senator" she said getting more excited.

"Don't worry no one's here we are all alone" Lux said.

"Thank the force" Ahsoka said before she knew it, she wrapped her arms around his neck "oh I missed you so much" she said holding on to him tightly.

"I missed you to" they then pulled apart with Ahsoka keeping her hands on his shoulders and Lux kept his hands on the side of her waist "Ahsoka I'm so sorry what happened to you I wish I could've been there to support you" he said with a mix of concern and anger in his voice.

"Don't worry I'm fine and now I've got a few weeks to myself that I'm hoping to spend with you if you're not busy" she asked as she now moved her hands up and around his neck.

"I'll always make time for you Soka" and then they both closed the gap between them and met in a passionate and heated kiss.

As they continued kissing Ahsoka pushed him onto the couch and sat on his lap "I missed this so much, please Lux I need this so much" she said as she ran her hand through his hair.

As they continued, they both knew they were in for a good night and great few weeks.
