Previously:
Naruto, now heartbroken was standing in silence, tears streaming down his face. The words they said to him repeating in his mind and the look they gave him 'Mistake', 'Demon', 'Mistake', 'Demon' just repeating. They kicked him out of the house and locked the door to his face, he ran away with tears streaming down his face. He didn't know where he was going, he didn't care, he just ran and ran until he ran out of stamina. Why was the world so cruel? Why was he being tortured for something that he doesn't even know of? Why did his family turn against him? Why does no one believe him? Could he ever trust someone again? These questions filled his mind
This chapter:
Naruto was running and running and entered an alley, he knew it could be dangerous. Most of the time, the beatings he got from the villagers were cause when he had entered an alley or they had chased him inside, and then they stabbed him, tortured him with a kunai, even did jutsus just to torture him. He had most of the worst memories related to alleys but... Where else would he go? To him right now, the alley was the safest option since no one could see him but, that wasn't the reason. There was no reason, he was just mindlessly running until his legs gave out. He was about to fall on the ground but just when his legs gave out, he saw a mysterious figure approaching him before he gave out.
After an unknown amount of time:
Naruto shot up from a soft surface, he was sweating like crazy. Then he looked down to see a bed and it was dark everywhere, he took some time to remember what happened and suddenly his eyes started to tear up from the memories. He's only a 6 year old, he isn't supposed to go through this torture. A 6 year old is supposed to have a happy life, enjoy life but him on the other side has the opposite, his parents hate him for some unknown reason he has no idea of, the villagers hate him for that same reason and abuse him physically and mentally, he couldn't make friends when children of his age are supposed to be surrounded by friends. The times he went to the park, the children did want to interact with him but their parents whispered something in their ear—most likely something like 'he's a demon don't talk to him okay?'—hence no one wanted to interact with him.
Naruto was deep in thought, but then, a figure was approaching him; that same person he saw yesterday before he was about to fall unconscious. "Who are you!?" Naruto asked in a scared voice, with his history with people, it was most likely that the person was going to hurt him like the villagers.
"Wouldn't it be better to introduce yourself first then ask the other person?" The person said with a chuckle. He was a tall—5'9" to be exact—man with a well defined jaw and body, he had spiky short dark gray hair and emerald green eyes. He was wearing a black t-shirt with a jonin vest and ninja pants with ninja sandals. In dark surroundings, you could hardly seem him except his emerald green eyes.
"O-okay... I-I am Uzu-maki Na-Naruto..." Naruto said stuttering as he was saying.
"Alright kid, seems you can at least introduce yourself. I am Utsusaki Mamoshika. I am a jonin here in Konoha and don't worry. I won't hurt you like those bad people, Naruto." The man said with a smile that could hardly be noticed.
"Really? You won't hurt me like those people, how can I trust you, I've gone through a lot of these situations; they always end up hurting me no matter what I do. I don't even know why I am called a demon!" Naruto said with a shaky voice
Flashback just a couple months ago:
Naruto was walking down the street at night to eat ramen because his parents supposedly forgot about him. He was going to Ichiraku Ramen, old man Teuchi and his daughter Ayame always treated him like a regular kid and didn't say anything or look at him like others. But today was not his lucky day, he came across some villagers and shinobis who were not in a good mood. They chased him and started to beat him up.
"Everyone today is the day this demon dies!" One villager said with a cheery voice and took out a kunai, he held it at Naruto's heart... Just when he was about to do it, a chunin came and punched them all away then took away Naruto to an alley. Naruto was about to thank the chunin when he looked at his eyes. They were the same as those villagers.. "Hah! They thought they could enjoy it alone, don't worry demon. I'll give you the best day of your life." The chunin said looking at Naruto with lust.
Naruto was frightened, that night, you could hear Naruto's screams for help. The chunin did disgusting things to him that would be better not be written.
Flashback end:
He was still traumatized from that, he didn't tell anyone since he knew no one would believe him anyway. He told his parents about a beating he got from the villagers around a year earlier but they said 'The villagers are such nice people, they wouldn't do such things. Now Naruto just because you're angry doesn't mean you can blame it on other people.' Minato said, Kushina also said something similar. He was pissed off, why would no one believe him?
Just when he was thinking, the man said: "I believe you Naruto, I do. I know how you get beaten up by people.". These words, they were just what Naruto needed to break at that moment. He began to cry and the man hugged him "Don't worry Naruto, I will make sure that they don't hurt you anymore, just because you're different doesn't mean you should be abused. It doesn't mean you should suffer, it wasn't your fault. So why should you suffer? The village made you into this, they made you the reason they hate you. Ironic isn't it? They made you to be hated, it was their intention. Now Naruto, will you take this hate? Or will you surpass it and show them why they shouldn't have done it." The man said with a smirk on the inside.
"W-what... What do you mean by that mister...?" Naruto said wiping away his tears. Subconsciously, he was beginning to believe whatever this man was going to say. He didn't know, it's the first time anyone has said that they believe him, that they were on his side. His mindset wasn't that of a grown adult, it was of a 6 year old child.
"Let me explain Naruto. On the day of your birth, October 10th. The kyuubi, which you may know as the nine-tails going to be released because the seal on Kushina that was maintaining the kyuubi was getting weaker during your guys' birth due to some unknown reason. Minato didn't even try to save you, he ran away with Kushina and your siblings. Hiruzen Sarutobi took you to the sealing platform since he needed a newborn to seal it. He asked Minato but he just said that he didn't care. Hiruzen didn't say anything since it was urgent and Sealed half of the nine-tails in you and he kept the other half inside Kushina. He asked everyone to hail you as the hero who saved Konoha but no one really cared, it was a dead man's word. Now Sarutobi is not to blame Naruto, remember. Also Naruto remember, if you see the story anywhere else; remember that they are fake. Minato modified them to the public so he wouldn't be seen as heartless and the coward that he is." The man said modifying the original history.
Naruto didn't need anything else to hate Minato, that man, he abandoned him and ran away with his kids and wife. And when he was asked if Naruto was to have a life filled with suffering... He said.. He didn't care. It was time for him to show them that they shouldn't have messed with him. He will show that coward Minato who ran from his duties, just what fear feels like.
But even to him, something felt off but, he just decided to ignore it for now. Right now he just wanted to take some rest since all this information was getting to him. It was too much, the fact that his own parents abandoned him at BIRTH was too much.
"Now, you should rest, this has surely taken a toll on you. All this information, you should let it soak in. We will talk again tomorrow, for now, just remember that I am the one who will help you. And also, here's some food for you." The man said as he gave Naruto a box of food and disappeared into the shadows. No trace of him ever being there left.
'Brat don't li-' Naruto heard a voice inside his head, it was a deep voice that like that of a monster's but before he could think about it any further. The same man appeared and said "Oh, that won't do now will it. Can't have you messing with my plans." The man said and knocked Naruto out, he then strengthened the seal on Naruto's stomach so that 'it' won't be able to communicate with him.
"Sweet dreams" The man said with a creepy voice and disappeared...
The next day:
Naruto woke up from his sleep, he slept the whole night because he was just that tired. It's been a while since had a decent sleep like this. Most of the times his parents would just forget his meal and literally do nothing the following morning.
Yesterday, Mamoshika gave him some RAMEN from ICHIRAKU RAMEN, he didn't know how that man knew that he liked ramen and even the shop. But, he was just 6, he didn't really care. He just knew that Mamoshika gave him food that even his parents didn't most of the time.
He then went outside for a stroll since the weather was quite nice today. However, he did not want to make any contact with his family, he just didn't want to talk to them. But it's highly likely that they literally forgot about him. He still wonders how they can just forget about him, it just seems unnatural. But he decided to just ignore it, pondering won't do any good anyway.
He then went to the academy, he knew that contact with his siblings would be inevitable unless for some reason they didn't come to the academy. Which is highly unlikely considering their parents.
He reached the academy and speaking of the devil, his sister Naruko, appeared in front of him. "Naruto, Mom and Dad have a surprise for you at home, they want you to go home straight after academy." Naruko said and left.
Naruto was puzzled, his parents. THEY want him to go back home, they have a surprise for him? He thought that maybe, just maybe they didn't forget about him and wanted to make up with him. If they did, he would forgive them for most of the things they've done. But even to him, it seemed unrealistic; but... He still had little hope.
Naruto entered his classroom and was about to go to his seat when, "Look guys, it's the filthy demon." Kiba laughed at him along with most of his other classmates. And then, when Naruto was going to his seat in the back, Kiba tripped him with his leg, "Hah! Feel it demon, the pain you caused everyone. Serves you right demon." Kiba said again with a smirk.
Naruto just looked down and went to his seat, he knew there was no point in arguing with his classmates; it would only cause him pain...
"Look guys, he's such a loser, he can't even stand up to protect himself" Menma sneered while doing some hand gestures.
Everyone burst out in laughter looking at Naruto with those eyes again.
Iruka came in class, he was the only person aside from Teuchi and Ayame that didn't look at Naruto with hatred or abused him. He cared for Naruto, however he didn't know that his own parents forget about him or about his family problems.
"Settle down class, today we are going to learn about the fight between the first hokage—Hashirama Senju—and Madara Uchiha." Said Iruka. Naruto didn't usually like history but, when the topic was about the fight between Hashirama and Madara, he was all ears.
"Blah blah blah BLAH! BLAH BLAH blahhh BLAH." Iruka explained the fight and everyone still eager to listen.
"Sensei, why did Madara betray Konoha?" Questioned Sakura Haruno, the long pink haired girl with emerald eyes. She was one of the civilian kids in the class; she was also a fangirl of Sasuke Uchiha, he was the son of Fugaku Uchiha. He had spiky black hair and onyx eyes. He was sometimes cheerful but chose to stay neutral most of the time.
"That is a good question, but sadly; I do not know the reason. Only some higher level Jonins and the elders of the village along with some important people know. It's not disclosed to us normal chunins or genins." Iruka said explaining the reason he didn't know.
And some time passes, at lunch:
Naruto usually ate at the back of the academy where no one was there most of the time. No one would want to eat with him anyway. He tried to approach a kid one day but they did the usual thing, call him a demon and say some hurtful words. He didn't want to go through that again so he didn't bother approaching another person. The outcome would likely be the same.
Today he was eating at the back again but there was something different, there was a person with him! Turns out Mamoshika came to the academy to check on Naruto at lunch. He even brought lunch for him and Naruto.
"Mamoshika-san! What are you doing here?" Naruto asked confused, he hadn't expected this. To think that Mamoshika brought lunch for him and to eat with him. It was enough to make Naruto like him. No one would ever bring him lunch, not even his own parents who kicked him out.
"Here Naruto, I brought you and me lunch so I can eat and enjoy it with you." Mamoshika said with a kind face and a slight smile. He was wearing casual clothes today, didn't bother to wear the jonin clothes.
"Thank you! Thank you Mamoshika-san, I really appreciate you; I wonder what I would've done if I didn't meet you. So thank you very much Mamoshika-san. No one ever gave me so much kindness as you have, THANK YOU..." Naruto said tearing up again, it was really an impactful encounter for him.
He wiped his tears with his fingers and took the food, turns out it was a bento made by Mamoshika. It had rice, tamagoyaki(japanese rolled omelette if you didn't know), sliced carrots, octopus shaped sausages, other greens and some miso soup.
"Wow Mamoshika-san, you can cook really well. I didn't expect this" Naruto was shocked, he didn't expect Mamoshika to be this good in the cooking category, most jonins don't even bother.
"Eh, I just learnt how to cook from my mother when I was young. I like to feed other people." Mamoshika said with a smile.
While they were talking about things and eating, Naruto brought out a topic; "Mamoshika-san, why did you decide to help me yesterday, and how did you know that I liked ramen and where I eat during lunch?" Naruto asked, he was meaning to ask it some other time but decided to get it over with quickly.
"Well I was your father's friend from childhood but, he's let me down. I didn't think he would neglect his own child just because he was a jinchuriki. It saddens me to see that my own childhood friend would do something like this." Mamoshika said with pain evident in his voice.
"Wow really? That explains it, thanks Mamoshika-san for helping me out when my own parents abandoned me." Naruto said the last part with a little bit of grief.
"Don't worry Naruto, they will realize that they shouldn't have done this; now let us just enjoy what we can. What's done is done and we have to move forward, we cannot let them ruin our life now can we? You have me right?" Mamoshika said hugging Naruto.
"Yes Mamoshika-san yes, I have you, I have you." Naruto exclaimed with emotion. This is the first time, anyone aside from Teuchi and Ayame has shown him this much kindness. It really was a memorable moment for him.
"Alright Naruto, I have to go now. You can go to the hideout whenever you wish, if you don't feel like staying at home just go there. You're always welcome." Mamoshika said and vanished into thin air, no trace left.
Naruto finished eating and went back to class, the usual boring things happened and academy finished. Now, he was going to go back to that house—his parents house—again; he didn't know what to think. They called him a demon, that he was a mistake... Would they really change this quickly?
He walked home together with Naruko and Menma, they didn't notice since he was far behind them but the villagers sure did. They were throwing those eyes at him again, he walked the entire way with his head down.
When he reached the house, he knocked on the door; Kushina opened the door and said "Welcome back Naruto!" with a cheerful voice and a smile, Naruto didn't think anything of it, he just thought 'Maybe they changed their mind! Maybe they will treat me right from now on.' while beaming with happiness. He then proceeded to enter inside.
Kushina then took him to the dining room and locked the main door so no one would be able to get out from the house, it seemed logical though, why would anyone keep their door open. Naruto didn't think much of it anyway.
"Minato, Menma, Naruko! Come here, Naruto has come back!" Kushina said with a cheerful voice and a happy face but then he noticed... he noticed it was that same face he got whenever he ate dinner with his family. He was getting scared again, maybe they didn't change their mind after all.
Then... Minato came back with a...
