"Hey this song reminds me of that time we... You wanna play Looks Like? My family used to play it on road trips. You look out the window and say what things looks like. Oh like that bush. It looks like Ben. And that rock. Totally I right? Or that tree..." Darius says as Kenji turns off the music on the radio as the group is in the car.

"Yeah. When do I turn?" Kenji asks coldly.

"Uh... Next left." Alexis says as she looks at Brooklynn's map.

"Your dad's halfway house is a couple miles down the road. Hey family's tough. Especially your dad. He's gonna push your buttons. But we gotta find out why Brooklynn came to see him. We should strategize. Oh how about I go in hot and you go in cold? You soften him up then I'll-" Darius then gets cut off by Kenji.

"Not taking family advice from a kid who hasn't called his mother in over a month." Kenji says.

"How did you know...?" Darius asks in surprise.

"You think after all she did for me, taking me in, treating me like a son that I wouldn't call her every week?" Kenji asks angrily.

"Maybe you go in hot." Darius says annoyedly.

"Or uh maybe we don't worry too much about this stuff until we get close to stopping? Maybe we just enjoy the nice drive and each others company?" Alexis asks as she chuckles nervously.

"I like the sound of the nice drive but not the company part." Kenji says as he and Darius glare at each other.

*Timeskip*

"Let's go." Darius says as the group arrives at Kenji's father's place and get out of the vehicle.

*Timeskip*

"Mr. Kon, you've got guests. You can pick up your phone on the way out." A man says as he brings the group to Mr. Kon inside a gate.

"Thank you Stevens. You look... healthy." Mr. Kon says as he looks at Kenji.

"Did you have Brooklynn killed?" Kenji asks as Alexis and Darius look at him.

"What? No. I was just as shocked to hear about Brooklynn's death as you were son." Mr. Kon says.

"I doubt that." Darius says as Kenji and Mr. Kon look at him annoyed before Alexis puts her hand on his shoulder.

"But you do know I've been at this halfway house for nearly a year yes? Because you don't live far from here and yet this is the first time you're visiting." Mr. Kon says.

"Wait how do you know where I live?" Kenji asks in shock.

"Then of course I was in prison for five years before that. So needless to say I couldn't have had anything to do with your girlfriend's death." Mr. Kon says as he tends to some plants.

"How do you explain her dying within days of coming to see you? Yeah. You're not the only one who knows things." Kenji says as Mr. Kon looks at him in surprise.

"Why did she come see you?" Alexis asks.

"Did she say anything that might help us work out why she was out there that night?" Darius asks.

"This is family business." Mr. Kon says annoyedly.

"What?" Darius asks in surprise.

"You've got to be kidding." Alexis says annoyedly.

"Fine." Kenji says as he walks off with Mr. Kon.

"I don't have a good feeling about this." Alexis says.

"You and me both." Darius says as he and Alexis go outside the gate before the two watch Kenji and his dad talk inside the gate with visible tension between the two.

"Darius. I don't like this." Alexis says as she and Darius over hear Mr. Kon trying to get Kenji to join his company.

"Yours is the face of a survivor. A hero. A face that people can trust. That they can invest in. I'll tell you everything I know about Brooklynn if you join my new company as CEO." Mr. Kon says as Alexis and Darius give alarmed expressions before the two run over to Kenji as he angrily comes out of the gate.

"Kenji are you okay?" Alexis asks.

"So how's it going?" Darius asks as Kenji yells angrily.

"Everything always has to be like a-a-a transaction with him. Done by his rules and on his terms but never on mine! Like I..." Kenji says angrily as he yells again.

"Yeah, yeah." Darius says.

"Who does that? He's just so... Yes! Yes exactly! Really? An ultimatum? You can either sell your soul to me, or never know what was going on with Brooklynn. What would you do?" Kenji asks as the group walks over to his car.

"Me? Well normally I'd say it's good to meet parents in the middle sometimes. But I just don't want you to have to sacrifice the man you're becoming just to make peace with a guy who's never treated you right." Darius says.

"Exactly. There's no sense in that. You should be proud of who you are. And if your dad doesn't see that well he's an idiot. No offense." Alexis says.

"Trust me. None taken. But if we wanna find out why Brooklynn was here... I don't see how I can say no." Kenji says as Alexis and Darius follow him back over to Mr. Kon.

"You've returned. I take that to mean you agree to my terms?" Mr. Kon asks.

"Obviously becoming CEO of whatever shady business you're about to start is my only option." Kenji says annoyedly.

"Excellent. Don't worry. I'll be the one doing the heavy lifting and running things. You can just give a few speeches a year to our shareholders. Do some fluff pieces about... Rock-climbing is it? It'll be easy. I know how you like things easy." Mr. Kon says as Kenji gives an angry look.

"Easy? What part of this is easy? The part where you left me to die on an island full of dinosaurs? Or maybe forcing me to become your puppet just so I can know the truth? That sounds easy? You know what? No. I'm not gonna do it. I won't let you control me anymore. We'll find out about Brooklynn without you. I'm done." Kenji says angrily.

"You're not serious." Mr. Kon says in surprise.

"Keep your secrets all right? Keep your schemes and your ultimatums. I don't need them and I don't need you. Goodbye Dad." Kenji says as the group begins to leave.

"Son wait! I'll... I'll tell you about Brooklynn. Just... stay? A little longer? She came to see me about dinosaurs being where they shouldn't. Illegally I mean. Buying, selling, the like. Given my past she thought I had something to do with it." Mr. Kon says as the group stops and looks at him.

"Sounds about right considering what you did last time with dinosaurs when we saw you." Alexis says annoyedly as she crosses her arms.

"I didn't." Mr. Kon says.

"So what did you tell her?" Darius asks.

"It wasn't so much what I told her as what she told me. That she wanted to get into the game. I believe her exact words were... I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty." Mr. Kon says.

"Brooklynn would never say that." Kenji says in disbelief.

"Look son. When she came here there was something about her that was different. Almost... dangerous. I just didn't think she'd be foolish enough to get herself killed." Mr. Kon says.

"Guys. Something is off. Hear that?" Alexis asks as she nervously looks around.

"I don't hear anything." Kenji says.

"Exactly." Alexis says.

"We have to go." Darius says before the group sees a raptor jump onto a barrel and roar at them.

"Run!" Alexis shouts as the group begins running before seeing the guard has been killed and the group gets cornered by the three reports as Mr. Kon stumbles backwards onto the ground before the group hears whistling and sees a strange woman with a whistle by a truck as the raptors react to the whistle and begin to close in on Alexis, Kenji and Darius only for Mr. Kon to intervene by grabbing hold of one of the raptors and get pinned by the raptors.

"Go!" Mr. Kon shouts.

"No I..." Kenji says in shock.

"Kenji! Run." Mr. Kon says sadly before the raptors begin killing him.

"No Dad!" Kenji shouts sadly.

"Kenji we have to go!" Alexis shouts as she and Darius pull Kenji with them as they run before the raptors begin chasing them before a vehicle pulls up to beside the group as Kenji falls in shock.

"Get in!" A man says inside the vehicle before the group gets into the vehicle as it drives away before Kenji looks sadly out the window.

"Dad..." Kenji says sadly.
