Chapter 2: Kerwan
Before leaving the Nexus Station, they headed to Verity's workplace to report on the Bloomblaster's success in the field, upon which she upgraded it to the Ivyblaster, with an increased ammo count and a new design, with the bud on the top of the gun, replaced with an Ivysaur Bloom. Finally arriving on Planet Kerwan in Metropolis, they exit the ship and are immediately met with a split in the road. Nicole Zwei notifies them of the direction their current quest will take them.
Quest Notification! Visit Al's Robo Shack!
Reward: 1 Pokeball (Random Pokemon Summon Token)
Upon heading in the direction they need to go, they are ambushed by a Robo-Mutt and a Blarg Commander. Xoruxshy dispatches the Robo-Mutt with her Keyblade, before using the Ivyblaster, which shoots grass energy projectiles at the Commander, stunning it until they die. After turning left along the path, another Commander and Robo-Mutt ambush them. This time Ratchet dispatches the Robo-Mutt with his Omniwrench before attempting to attack the Commander who flees to more Robo-Mutts under his command. Upon destroying the Robo-Mutts and the Commander ordering them, another Commander behind the first one fled across the nearby bridge. Xoruxshy, IF, and Ratchet attempted to follow them, but a Blarg Heli-Commander blocked their way. "Great, an aerial enemy," Xoruxshy said. IF replied, "I got this!" and using her new set of Qatars she stabbed into the enemy's engine, causing it to go out of control and explode. As they went down the nearby escalators a Mine Layer set up the battlefield with several mines. After Ratchet destroyed all the enemies here, the group then went after the Blarg Commanders in front of Al's Robo Shack.
(After defeating the robots)
Location: Al's Robo Shack
Clank: Ratchet, Xoruxshy, IF, that's the man we saw on the Infobot. Remember? He knows Captain Qwark!
Ratchet: Hey, you're that robot guy, right?
Al: (turning around) No, actually, I build robots. I, myself, am not a robot guy, per se. Ha-ha.
Clank: Nerd.
Xoruxshy: Hey! I take offense to that!
Clank: I like him.
Al: So now that we've cleared that up, what can I do for you?
Clank: Well, we saw your Infobot announcement. You were with Captain Qwark. We're trying to find Captain Qwark. We thought you could help us.
Al: Your logic is commendable. However, I haven't seen Captain Qwark since we shot that commercial. (Pulls down his tech scope) Say, do you run on standard XP-18 sisterboards?
Clank: Version 7.66.
Al: Back at ya! I may be able to help you out after all. How does a helipack upgrade sound?
Ratchet: Upgrade?
Al: Natch. Since he's a seven-six-six, I could have the little guy up and flying in no time. Of course, I'll just need my fee for service.
Xoruxshy: So, how much do you need?
Al: My service fee is 1,000 bolts.
Xoruxshy: Here you go. And here's a card to get you into my space station. Just tell them Lady Mobius Heart sent you.
Al: Okay, this won't hurt a bit. (Grabs Clank)
Clank: Hey, wait!
(Several whirs and drilling sounds are heard as Al works on upgrading Clank, before turning around revealing Clank in helipack form)
Clank: Ratchet, am I cool now?
Ratchet: Yeah. You da man, Clank.
Al: (annoyed) You're welcome! (Opens the back exit) Though, seriously, Xoruxshy, thank you for the chance to visit your space station. Is it true that I can find a better place of work there?
Xoruxshy: Not only is it true, but you'll have access to some of Gamindustri and Mobius's finest materials.
Al: Thank you.

Upon leaving the area and heading up the lift, Ratchet, IF, and Xoruxshy glide down and take out the 3 Blarg Commanders using Ratchet's recently purchased Pyrocitor, Xoruxshy's Ivyblaster, and IF's Qatars. After this they get a Quest Notification from Nicole Zwei.
Quest Objective: Explore the rest of the city!

Xoruxshy: Well, we're here, might as well.
Upon riding up the next lift, they are immediately set upon by Robo-Mutts. Ratchet easily dispatches them with his Omni-Wrench, but more spawn out of a Robot Manufacturer next to a Mine Layer. IF uses her La Delphinus Skill to destroy the Manufacturer as well as the Mine Layer. After crossing the bridge behind the enemies and heading up the escalator to the nearby train station, there are 4 Blarg Commanders waiting for them. Xoruxshy easily destroys them with grass energy pellets from her Ivyblaster. Noticing an odd golden glow from beyond a stack of suitcases, Xoruxshy leads the group over to find a Gold Bolt and a horde of Robo-Mutts. Deciding to take them out from up top, Ratchet uses his Bomb Glove to get rid of them, and their spawner. Upon collecting the Gold Bolt, it zooms off into space towards the Nexus Station, and a Quest Notification is sent to Xoruxshy's Miles Electric.

IF: We don't have anywhere else to go, and I'd like to see how Gadgetron tries to one-up Verity this time.
The trio board the train and immediately it starts running. Each Commander is on a train car. IF charges forwards, leaving rose petals in her wake, and defeats the first Commander. Xoruxshy and Ratchet come in behind them and Xoruxshy uses a new technique provided by the Novalis Mirage: Mirage Tornado! This lifts the second Commander off their feet and into the cloudy expanse below. Ratchet dispatched the third one with two uses of the Bomb Glove, and the final one was dispatched by all three using Trinity Limit. At the front of the train, there is an Infobot which gets off the train once it docks at the station. Xoruxshy turns it on with her new Sonic Screwdriver, which looks like a miniature version of Maleficent's staff only made out of metal.
Blarg Lieutenant: Greetings, Executive Chairman Drek!
Drek: Dispense with the pleasantries, lieutenant. My sources tell me you're behind schedule. You must prepare this planet to be harvested for our new world!
Blarg Lieutenant: Yes sir. As you can see, everything is moving along, as planned. (Unfortunately for him, the scene behind him is of one of the Blarg robots destroying another with its ax, accidentally)
Drek: I'm counting on you, lieutenant. And as your former commander can tell you, I don't take disappointment well.
Blarg Lieutenant: Yes sir! I won't fail!
Clank: Drek is destroying yet another planet.
Ratchet: Yeah, but if that's the kind of help he's getting, I don't think we have anything to worry about.
Clank: You should not underestimate Chairman Drek…he is quite dangerous. We must find Captain Qwark.
Ratchet: Look, that Lieutenant doesn't seem so tough. Let's take him out ourselves.
Clank: Perhaps we CAN persuade the Lieutenant to tell us where Drek is.
Ratchet: Ha, ha…Now you're talkin'!
Xoruxshy: Maybe we'll get a chance to show off our CPU forms too! But first, let's finish exploring our leads here.

IF: Hmmm… let's see how good this thing REALLY is versus the modifications I made to my last set of Qatars.

Upon returning to the fork in the path that they used to get to Al's Robo Shack, they go to the right and meet the Qwark Fitness Course Introductory Robot.
Qwarkbot: Welcome to the Captain Qwark Fitness Course. If you're strong enough, fast enough and clever enough to beat my fitness challenge, you will receive a reward from my head trainer. Simply make your way to the third island to complete the course. Good luck! Quark Enterprises is not responsible for sprains, broken bones, snapped tendons, bruised egos or accidental death incurred while taking the challenge.
Clank: Excuse me Captain, but we have more pressing issues. We urgently need your assistance.
(Xoruxshy and IF giggle)
Ratchet: Clank?
Clank: Yes?
Ratchet: Do you notice anything unusual about Captain Qwark?
Clank: Well…I find the fact that he has a spring where his legs should be to be quite puzzling.
Ratchet: And why do you think that is?
Clank: Possibly an injury incurred while fighting evil?
Ratchet: This isn't the real Captain Qwark you numbskull. It's a robot.
Clank: Oh.
(Xoruxshy and IF record this moment for blackmail then proceed to roll on the floor laughing out loud)
Xoruxshy: Okay, that was a good laugh. Me and IF will be able to do this obstacle course easily. But just to make sure the instructor doesn't accuse us of cheating, let's do this all together.
Upon reaching the top of the first set of platforms and wall-jumping up the two sets of parallel walls, the trio use their weapons to zipline down to the next platforming section. This consisted of moving platforms and wall-jumps, before they reached the next zipline. Upon finishing the course, the robotic fitness instructor confronts the trio.
Helga: Listen up you lardballs! That was the most pathetic display I have ever seen on that obstacle course.
Ratchet: What do you mean?
Clank: We finished the circuit, ma'am.
Xoruxshy: Yeah, and my sister and I aren't fat.
Helga: You may not be fat, but that performance was weak, weak, WEAK! When I was competing, I would devour courses like that for breakfast.
Ratchet: Bet that's not all.
IF: Actually, miss, we decided to not use most of our natural abilities, because we felt that it would be unfair to other competitors.
Helga: Oh… Well, if it were up to me, your friends would drill, drill, drill for the rest of the day. But somehow, you managed to impress that fool, Captain Qwark.
Clank: Captain Qwark knows about us?
Helga: He certainly does. And worst of all, he wants me to give you a prize for that ridiculous performance.
Ratchet: Cool, what is it?
Helga: I'm supposed to give you a Swingshot, so you can sway to and fro like little insects.
Ratchet: All right, let's see it.
Helga: Not so fast. Today, two out of the four of you disgraced my obstacle course. So I am going to make you pay.
Clank: But that prize is ours from the Captain. That's not fair.
Helga: Tsk, tsk, tsk. Too bad - life's not fair.
Xoruxshy: So, how much do you need for us to get those Swingshots?
Helga: Well, since you two were being good sports, 1,000 bolts for the other two. You get yours for free. By the way, Al told me he was moving to the Nexus Station that recently appeared in the Solana Galaxy. Mind if I get one of those cards, too?
Xoruxshy: Sure. (Transfers the bolts and a V.I.P. card to Helga's account)
Helga: Thanks. Here you go.
Ratchet: Sweet! I'll bet Captain Qwark uses stuff like this all the time.
Helga: Ha! Real men can swing without silly toys like that. (Gets on the taxi behind her) The two of you make me sick. (Snorts as the taxi flies off)
Upon returning to the ship, the final Quest Notifications for this planet popped up.
