Eddie loved teasing Steve, especially in front of other people.
He loved the way Steve blushed and immediately got flustered, tripping over his words as he tried - and failed - to ignore Eddie.
They were at a diner just outside of town with Robin and Nancy. Eddie was sitting across from Steve but it was currently an empty seat as he placed their orders. Robin, who was sitting next to him, was still examining the menu. "I dunno… now I kinda regret choosing strawberry, the chocolate sounds good."
"We'll share, I chose chocolate," Nancy told her.
Eddie smiled, nudging Robin as her cheeks turned pink and winked. She slapped his leg under the table in response.
Steve slid back into his seat and sighed. "Alright, all done! Food'll be here soon they said."
"Great, I'm starving." Eddie sighed and stretched, rubbing his foot on the inside of Steve's leg. He immediately stiffened and fumbled the cutlery he was handing out, dropping several forks on the table.
"Steve!" Robin jumped as Nancy hurriedly scooped them up. "I almost had a heart attack!"
"Sorry." He sent Eddie a glare and he flashed a smile back, nudging his leg again.
"Honestly, what's gotten into you recently? You're so jumpy."
"Nothing."
Nancy got the cutlery sorted just as their drinks arrived and talk turned to movies. Eddie caught Steve's eye and raised an eyebrow before giving his straw a long lick, taking it into his mouth. Steve's cheeks turned pink and his mouth opened slightly in that adorable stunned look Eddie loved so much. He continued giving the straw the best blow job of its life and Steve watched with rapt attention.
"Steve!"
He jumped, smacking an elbow on the table. "Y-yeah?"
Both girls were frowning at him now. "You okay?" Nancy asked and he nodded quickly.
"I'm great!"
Eddie finished with an obscene slurp and turned to Robin. "Frankenstein sounds good."
"Exactly!"
"But what about snacks?" Nancy started.
Eddie turned his attention back to Steve who was glaring at him. When he lifted his foot Steve was quick to grab his ankle. Eddie smirked and scooted closer, resting it against his inner thigh but not moving. Steve relaxed after a second and even started rubbing his thumb over the exposed skin under his pant leg. He was talking to Nancy about popcorn or something when Eddie boldly pressed against his crotch.
"Salted is way b-better!" Steve almost yelled the last word, making Nancy flinch back. "Sorry."
"You're acting weird tonight."
"He's always weird," Robin commented absently. "But you're right, more weird than normal." And she fixed Steve with a piercing gaze. "What's got you so hot under the collar?"
"Nothing!"
Robin looked at Eddie and glanced down, following the length of his leg and her eyes widened. "Oh!" And she burst into laughter.
Nancy frowned and looked at Steve. Eddie saw her eyes lower to his lap and her face turned red before she too started laughing. "Steve!" She giggled, hiding her face in a napkin. "No wonder you're so tense!"
"I'm glad you all think this is so funny," Steve hissed.
They were interrupted by the waitress bringing over the food and Eddie reluctantly sat back up to eat. Eddie eased up on the teasing as their conversation returned to normal which meant schoolwork. The downside of being friends with Nancy and Robin. The subject bored him to tears but he was going to graduate at least.
It was only outside that Steve grabbed his arm. "Nancy, we'll be there in a sec, here!" He tossed her the keys and dragged Eddie around behind the diner and out of sight. "You fucking asshole!"
Eddie grinned as he was pushed against the wall. "What?" He asked as innocently as possible.
"God I hate you sometimes."
"I love you too, baby."
Steve's expression softened and then they were kissing, hard and messy. Eddie's hands tangled in Steve's hair and pulled, earning a groan from Steve. He retaliated by slotting a leg between Eddie's and pressing dangerously close to his groin. They broke apart, both panting hard.
"Holy shit, Steve, we're in public."
"Don't start something you can't finish, Munson," Steve smirked and kissed him again until Eddie felt like he was going to pass out. "Come on, the girls are waiting."
"You expect me to be able to walk after kissing me like that?"
"You're own fault." Steve kept a steadying arm around him back to the car and Eddie slid in the back next to Nancy. He gave her a blissed-out smile and she broke out laughing. Robin took one look at him and started giggling too. Steve only shook his head and started the car. "Not a word."
