A scene opens up with Atomsk waiting for TME.
TME came into the room while he had a smile on his face.
"Hey Atomsk, sorry for the wait, posted the Finn the Foster Wood Nymph chapter, added Foster to make sure people don't get wrong idea and stuff." TME said while he rubs his head a bit.
"Ah… can see what you mean but you're here now." Atomsk said.
"Yup… anyway… ready to get into the nitty gritty of the story of mine?... going over some ideas I mean first thats what I mean before we get into the story to clarify things… like… us technically benching Emerald and Cedric so they will be on the back burner for a bit… so VERY little chance of them having lemons in this one…" TME said while shocking Cedric behind the camera… less so Emerald since he must have been told of this earlier.
"What?! We're getting benched?!" Cedric said.
"Technically Cedric, I think there is more to this since while I heard things, not much." Emerald said as TME nods.
"Indeed… first… Emerald will technically be the main star… its mainly an 8 year old version of him who won't age up for a good long time so while we have OC's and Canon AT Characters doing things to help him… Cedric is mainly babysitting this version of Emerald… so while he and Emerald are still in the story… its mainly Cedric keeping a 8 year old Emerald out of trouble in an arc or two… you will see why… mainly its to allow other OC's to be in the spotlight… or are you saying those like Azure or Maite don't get the star role Cedric?" TME said while he smirks at Cedric in a teasing way at the end.
Cedric jolts.
"Okay… made your point."
"Good… second given the fact Emerald is 8 and Cedric will be on guard duty, the pairings may alter or be impacted… so Emerald may not get with Maite or Lillum given he is a kid and stuff or Azure could be with someone else… it depends on how we mix things up… but point is… Emerald is not getting laid anytime soon… if he does become an adult… its a temp thing… trust me it will make MUCH more sense in the story but all in all, there will be lemons but expect unexpected pairings… this is also after the first Season of Fionna and Cake so this will be uncharted territory as well but Finn will be a key player here with others as Finn is an adult and stuff… could even have him say have an 8 year old daughter Emerald could pal around with?" TME said while saying that last part in a curious way since that was a new idea that came to TME's head… could be a number of years since the Season 1 ending and Finn could have knocked up Huntress Wizard or some other woman Finn got lucky with so no real limits except for Bubblegum and Marceline who were off the table given various factors… could change in story but had to keep some canon stuff for now.
"Hmmm… interesting. So Finn and HW have a kid or Finn is dating someone else?" Atomsk said.
"Your call there, could have many daughters but try and not have too many hehe… need to have some ladies for some OC's we have." TME said while he grins at Atomsk in an amused way.
"Hehe true. Maybe Finn can have one son at least through a different lady." Atomsk said.
"Sure, could be a fun thing and stuff… just remember that certain OC's may not be in their intended roles given the mixups that will happen… so Bordux and Aggro may not even be the big bads or if they are… may not be as intended." TME said while he looked really amused.
"Right… either way, let's start the story before we spoil things." Atomsk said.
"Right… just one more thing… this story WILL have heavy OC use… and lemons galore… so if you expect this to be a full on story epic… that is NOT the case… aside a few arcs this is mainly a light hearted story so to speak, so in case any of you say that you didn't want the sex… leave… unless you pay us, not exactly going to listen to requests to have sexless stories… those are boring." TME said while he shakes his head.
"No shit." Atomsk said as he gives the readers half lidded looks.
"Yeah… anyway… onto the story!" TME said as the scene shifts to…
Ooo/ Candy Kingdom/ Laboratory/ Finn, Bubblegum, Marceline, Bronwyn
"OK Finn… given that your getting older and stuff, I'm glad you accepted this teacher job with training now prospective heroes with Bronwyn here, honestly it should be good to have a new generation of heroes… more so with the new tech I developed." Bubblegum said with a smile on her face as she wore a lab coat.
"I agree PB. I was great at what I was doing but now… time for me to teach a new generation." Finn said.
"Hehe, this before or after Bonnie injected you with some tech juice stuff that she will give to the newbies that can help you keep up with one another?" Marceline said with an amused look while Finn had a comical X bandage on his right buttcheek while a comically large syringe was nearby on Bubblegum's table.
Finn shudders.
"T-Thought we agreed not to bring that up Marcy."
"Ehhh, didn't ask for a promise… just reminding you that Bonnie injected your students and Bronwyn with the same stuff so expect one hell of a trip when your world view is turned inside out… happened with me and Bonnie when we used the stuff and what not… its interesting…" Marceline said when she looks really amused.
"Hehe, yes indeed." Bubblegum said.
"Right…" Finn said as he wanted to forget about the big needle.
"Well if it helps for future updates, can give you and others suppositories, wouldn't be a big needle but a big pill instead." Bubblegum said as she jots down this note that if Finn didn't take a needle, use a suppository or a pill to swallow but that last one would be a work in progress because of stomach acid and stuff after all.
Finn jolts at the suppository part.
"I'll stick to the needle." He said making Marceline snicker.
Bubblegum giggles though she gained a serious look.
"Anyway Finn, on a serious note, this injection that will be taking effect is more or less special nanobots that will help you become a better adventurer than you ever have been… the reason is… well… you play RPG games with Dusk, Phoebe, or Elena recently?... well its a similar concept… mainly its like a leveling system with Classes and more involved to help with being better adventurers and heroes." Bubblegum said as Finn's eyes sparkle at this.
"Oh that's neat!" Finn said with excitement.
"Hehe, even after all those years, still kid at heart." Marceline said.
"Hehe, well great uncle Finn wouldn't be who he was if he wasn't a kid at heart when it comes to adventures." Bronwyn said before she blinks and rubs her head.
"W-Whoa!... OK… think I feel it kicking in…" Bronwyn said as she starts to see something form in her vision… it… looked like an RPG games status menu with a loading screen in her gaze before her… didn't show to others most likely being a personal thing, but Finn groans when he starts to see the same thing as Bubblegum smiles when the injection was starting to take effect.
"Don't worry, you should see a loading bar showing things are progressing, take a minute to adjust and once its gone you can fiddle with things, it works like VR so once you see menus, move your hands to where you see the menu, the rest will handle itself… mainly you maybe doing hand gestures to others, but its mainly you tapping buttons in a games menu more or less." Bubblegum said when she looks calm as she watched Finn and Bronwyn adjust to the effect.
"Damn Bonnie. It's like taking video games to a new level. Maybe do a virtual reality thing. Can make a good fortune." Marceline said.
"Maybe, would have to work out the kinks in this though, its the main reason why this barely got out of its Alpha and Beta phases… may as well consider this the Gamma phase before officially tested for public use… its the reason why I'm having Finn and the others use this first since they can make sure that normal people won't have issues later with it… I mean remember the last test subject who willingly took this?... was babbling in a dead language for a week before I got him back to normal." Bubblegum said when she looks at Marceline.
Marceline cringes.
"Yeah… was not a good week."
Once Finn and Bronwyn finished adjusting to things as the loading bar vanished… this left Finn and Bronwyn with a simple menu with an image of Finn in Finn's view with various equipped items he had on him and more while Bronwyn had a similar thing… on one side was various buttons to select various features of the menu from them being on the status window by default to show their health and more which was in good health right now.
"Wow, my health bar is good." Bronwyn said.
"Same here." Finn said as the duo looks at other features.
"Indeed… once the menu closes, you'll see a hud of various things, from a health bar and energy bar to various other things like a mini-map in the corner of your eye, autoadjusts to be focused on by thought so you won't have to worry about it being stuck in your peripheral vision… its a work in progress by the way but its a good work in progress type thing… there are various features that I put in like class selection, equipment changing, various others… though the best thing is the item box feature… if you would select it, you'll see what I mean soon." Bubblegum said while she smiles as she saw the excited looks on Bronwyn and Finn's faces.
That's when the duo selected the item box.
When they did, the item box menu was empty but had an inventory for Finn and Bronwyn next to it while their own status window was next to it with the equipped items on it.
"To set up an example of things, Finn… please select your hat and either drag the icon to the item box or click an empty square." Bubblegum asked while she smiles at Finn.
Finn blinks a bit before click on his hat and drags it to the empty square.
A moment later, Finn's hat on his head vanished letting his long locks run down his back fully as Bronwyn looks surprised when Finn's hat just vanished from his head.
"What you two saw is what some would call… a magic item box… but… this is more safe and with actual science and stuff… I'll save you the explanation but what happened is that your item is stored in a pocket dimension only you can access, think like a bubble of sorts that you can put things in for a general idea… the same concept is for your inventory as well, you select the item and put it back on your head Finn and it will auto equip back to your head… you'll have to adjust your hair though… still working on that feature since I'm reminded on how fast your hair grows so need to take that into account." Bubblegum said when she jots down some notes.
"Right." Finn said as he adjusted his hair before re-equipping his hat.
"Will say dude, most ladies will kill to have hair like that." Marceline said with amusement.
"Don't you shapeshift your hair to be perfect?" Bronwyn said as Marceline smirks.
"I said MOST ladies did I?" Marceline said while she turns her hair into a cute looking bob hairstyle as an example.
Bubblegum shakes her head.
"Anyway onto the next feature… given I've… studied how spells work with magic from Wizard City thanks to many spell books and other type of books that have techniques and abilities being brought here from occasional things like the store formerly known as Choose gooses stall and various other vendors with Pep occasionally giving some… I was able to science many spells into a logical manner so if you would head to the class selection menu, we can get to the real heart of the menu." Bubblegum said while she looks at Finn and Bronwyn mainly.
Hearing this, Finn and Bronwyn went to the class selection.
When they did, they saw many basic and advance classes…
For the basic stuff, there were Warrior, Mage with the black magic and white magic varients, thief, and various others… for the advanced stuff there was Dark Knight to summoner to even a freaking Sage class though that was locked behind various conditions, same with other advance classes… though for Finn and Bronwyn they seemed to have Classes unique to them and them alone…
For Finn… he had the Hero Class… a Rare class given only to a small few and gives powerful types of offensive and defensive skills… mainly a sword heavy class and able to learn minor and major magic some other classes can't learn.
For Bronwyn… she had a unique Class called Daredevil… mainly it mixed Hero with a thief or the advance Acrobat class giving a more agile focused hero build that mainly revolved around daggers and other kind of dexterity type weapons… has more of a focus on speed than actual power.
"Daredevil?… Sweet." Bronwyn said as she liked the sound of that.
"Hehe, Hero… makes sense." Finn said as Bubblegum smiles.
"Indeed, a Unique class is mainly your own kind of lifestyle in a sense… if you meet others with similar classes, that means they live lives similar to your own… think of the Unique Class as a class that only you can access and train in… it starts at level one for all but the more you level it and others, the more you can grow… the general idea of this is to unlock skills and abilities so when you use other classes, you can make up for a lack of abilities that some classes would normally lack… for example… Finn you fought Wizards right?... they normally don't do well with close combat unless they use close combat type magic right?" Bubblegum said when she looks at Finn.
Finn was thoughtful.
"That's right."
"Well for example… if you learned a few skills from your hero class, if you go into a Black mage or white mage class that normally doesn't use close range skills, you can use them in the Mage class so you can make up for the lack of combat skills." Bubblegum said when she had a serious look that showed this tutorial on classes would be helpful.
Finn blinks a bit.
"So I would spells from either side no matter the color?"
"Huh?... Color?... Oh I think I get what you mean… let me be more clear… a Black mage is a mage that uses offensive spells like fire, wind, lightning, that kind of thing… a white mage uses healing magic, holy magic, and various magic that the undead do not like." Bubblegum said as Marceline smirks.
"Unless its used in kinky ways… Bonnie made me squirm in bed with some of that holy and exorcism magic hehe…" Marceline said while smirking at the others in a teasing way.
"M-Marcy?!" Bubblegum said in embarrassment.
"What? We're all adults here." Marceline said.
Bronwyn blushed at this while Finn rubs his head.
"H-Hehe… yeah… would say that I would blush but… Phoebe, Dusk, and Elena kinda made me a bit used to… talks like this… having a lot of kids on my end and all that." Finn said while he blushed a bit… seems in this story… Finn was married to Phoebe, Elena the Jungle princess, and Dusk or Huntress the Wood Nymph… and had a number of kids… this amused Marceline when she looks at Bronwyn.
"Hehe… well Bron… seems like you're the only one here who isn't used to talks like this… I'll enjoy the future teasing when you least expect it." Marceline said with a smirk on her face.
Bronwyn blushes brightly making Bubblegum sweatdrop.
"Sorry Bronwyn… can't stop her if I try."
"Wouldn't be Marcy if she wasn't a tease…" Finn said as the scene went to a bit later with various explanations happening… this showed the four heading to the throne room as Bubblegum looks at Finn.
"So Finn, while you have a couple students, I called others to help fill in the gaps missing in numbers… don't worry they will listen well to orders and stuff though… they can be a bit… eccentric… hopefully after some training, can be a really good fighting force." Bubblegum said when she smiles at Finn a she walks next to him.
"Well that's cool PB. Who did you call?" Finn said.
"A group of people who can introduce themselves, mainly its about… 10 people or so… depends on who comes or not so the number varies…" Bubblegum said as she got the others to the Throne room and saw a number of people there…
First were a couple of cute looking Hedgehog beings who looked to be from the Badlands… they looked to be shapely women shorter then some in the room with one having blue highlights in her quill like hair on her head… thats 2 so far…
Another was a Black furred cat humanoid woman with red markings in her hair… she had a leith figure with red colored eyes… 3…
One was a male blue fur wolf humanoid that looked strong and fit and was wearing a vest…4th…
The fifth person… was a female elf with blonde hair like Finn's whom also carries both a blade and bow and arrow.
Sixth person… was a male monkey man that surprisingly had some ninja gear.
Seems one final person, being the 7th, was a large Lion man who towered over many… the 7th and final person… close to 10 or so…
So add Bronwyn to that mix… may as well have 8 people for Finn to train… 7 with Bronwyn helping him… enough said this was a decent group of people and more could show as Finn smiles.
"Hey everyone… sorry for not being here earlier, had to get an injection from PB on this new hero stuff." Finn said while he got the new heroes attention.
"Well it's about time, but sweat." The monkey man said.
"Sarutobi… calm yourself… you say you're a ninja but you were most excited to meet Finn more than most here." The Cat woman with black fur said while she gave the now identified Sarutobi a half lidded look.
Sarutobi jolts.
"Didn't have to say it like that Azure."
"Just saying… anyway Maite, Rachel… Finn just like how you two thought of him?... he looks pretty tough being the number 1 hero of Ooo." Azure said when she looks at the two Hedgehog looking humanoid women with pink quills and one with the blue highlights in her quill like hair.
"Well despite being older, definitely adventurous." Said Maite.
"Yeah… must say… cuter in person." The other Hedgehog humanoid said showing she was Rachel as she winked at Finn teasingly.
Finn blushes after hearing that.
"T-Thanks." He said.
Marceline looks amused.
"Sorry ladies but unless you ask his three special ladies… this Dilf here is taken… guy has a number of kids already and while I'm sure two wouldn't have issues, a sexy fireball might." Marceline said while she teased Finn by pinching his ass.
Finn jolts as Maite and Rachel blink a bit.
"Wow, rumors are true." Maite said to Rachel.
The blue furred wolf man looks amused by this.
"Well given how popular the guy is, shouldn't be surprised he is getting a lot of tail." The Blue furred wolf man said as Sarutobi looks amused.
"Jealous Cedric?" Sarutobi said when he grins at Cedric.
Cedric snorts.
"Please, I can probably get more than him."
The Lion man looks amused now.
"Really?... you got slapped by Maite when you tried to hit on her and nearly got uppercut by Rachel if she didn't find your… hehe… crass flirts cute if annoying… goes to show that living in the Cavern of the Crystal eye doesn't give the best people skills." The Lion man said while he had crossed arms as he grins at Cedric mainly with a smug look.
"Screw you, Aggro." Cedric said making Finn blink.
"You live in the Crystal Eye Chamber?"
Cedric grumbles.
"Yes… my family lived there for years… I came here to try and get a job and stuff since I heard being an adventurer can get a lot of gold and stuff by diving in dungeons." Cedric said as Aggro laughs.
"Well maybe that can happen but as for people skills with the ladies… may as well teach you a thing or two since I can easily charm my way into many ladies pants hehe… sorry about him Finn, guys got this might makes right and Alpha mentality so he maybe a bit… temperamental and you may have to show him who is boss if he gives you issues in lessons on being a heroic ladies man." Aggro said while he looks amused now.
Cedric glares daggers at Aggro as Finn sweatdrops.
"I'm sure there won't be issues here."
"Nice… though to prove my skills to charm the ladies…" Aggro said when he walked to Azure and in a smug way took her hand and kissed it before he grins at her.
"Hehe… hey depending on how well this first lesson goes, want to celebrate at a restaurant with yours truly?... as you can see I can do a lot of things be it carrying bags from shopping or even just carrying you on a shoulder so if a sexy kitty like you wants to be treated like a princess later, Aggro the Iron wall is at your disposal." Aggro said while he bows to Azure with one large arm held out.
Azure blinks a bit before looking amused.
"Cute… but I'm a type of girl that likes it when things get… rough." She said making Cedric perked up.
"Well if you want rough. I know a good place that shows great fights. Can even enter and make a killing on the dough."
A few sweatdrop at this as Aggro sighs.
"She means sex you nimrod… plenty of fights can happen in person but hard to find a good lay sometimes is what she means…" Aggro said while he gave Cedric a half lidded look.
"I'm not stupid jackass. I'm the type of guy that doesn't jump gun." Cedric said.
"Lets ask her than later to see what she wants… more fighting she can watch after she personally fights monsters, or getting laid… may as well let the lovely lady decide… what do you think Azure?... want to consider it since it seems this short stack and I seem interested in dating you?" Aggro said and while the short stack thing would have been an insult… Aggro towered over many so… many were short stacks to him more or less.
"Hmmm… I'll give you both a shot. Just note you two better not over do it or try to kill each other." Azure said.
Aggro looks amused.
"Hehe, like wolfy here can harm me… my title of Iron wall is not just because I'm big like a wall… I'm virtually indestructible… may as well prove it later in a battle… if you guys got the status thing from Sweet cheeks here, you should know I may as well be the tank of the group… my main class is Bulwark… mainly… I take hits and dish them back just as hard." Aggro said while he flexed his arms with his muscles swelling from said flex as Bubblegum blushed from the sweet cheeks comment.
"L-Let's just move on everyone." Bubblegum said.
"Hehe, right… so whats the next one to introduce their class?" Aggro said as Azure held up a hand and lit her hand alight with a black fire.
"May as well be proper… I'm Azure… my unique class is called Cursed Black mage… my abilities mainly work like a Black mage with offensive attacks but they have a curse type effect… mainly I use fire to turn opponents into ash… skipping the burning process… not sure how well you take hits Aggro but doubt you would survive something like that if I get angered so food for thought to consider since you don't seem to have elemental defenses." Azure said while she looks amused though Aggro grins and laughs at this.
"HAHAHA!... spunky… definitely going to take you out on a dinner date at least later…" Aggro said when he didn't seem threatened by Azure's playful banter.
Cedric got serious.
'I'll show him.' He thought as Sarutobi chuckles.
"Well you all know me as Sarutobi and my class is Ninja."
"Ninja?... like an Ice Ninja?" Finn said while Sarutobi blinks.
"Maybe?... I mean I learned some elemental skills but never ice… that was out of nowhere." Sarutobi said while many were surprised by Finn saying ice specifically.
Finn grins.
"Good thing I relearned this." He said before doing something with his fingers and surprisingly brings out… a shuriken… made of ice.
Sarutobi blinks at this.
"Interesting… seems I'll have a lot to learn from you if this is just an example." Sarutobi said while looking impressed.
"Nice." Finn said as the elf woman clears her throat.
"Hello, I'm Tiara. I'm an elf royal and I rely on my sword and arrows."
"Elf Royal?... never heard of that before." Marceline said since she didn't hear anything about an Elf Kingdom before she looks at Bubblegum.
"She a registered Royal?" Marceline asked as Tiara rolls her eyes.
"We may as well not be registered since we don't care if others approve of us or not, more so since we outlive kingdoms, not only that… given that in the past the Fire Kingdom was evil, rumors of the Princess here in the Candy Kingdom were iffy, and many more with Royals abusing power, we would rather not get involved until recently since we decided to come out of hiding because of various factors." Tiara said with a stoic if blunt tone reminding many of Huntress and how honest she was and stuff.
"Huh… I should introduce you to Huntress. You two would get along." Finn said.
"I see… my class is called Hunter… its a Archer class with a use of swords or knives for close range fighting… as the name implies I hunt beasts for food, materials, and more… all in all, try and not anger me and I won't try and hunt people here down." Tiara said when she looks at many in the room.
"Also before any ask because of rumors… yes Elves are immortal beings so to speak, I'm 318 years old and next in line for the throne." Tiara said while she looks at many seriously.
"Cool… welcome to the immortal club." Marceline said.
Maite then spoke up.
"To save time, I'm Maite and Rachel is my sister. We both come from the badlands."
"Really?... never really been there before, what kind of jobs do you two have?" Bubblegum said while Rachel and Maite look at her.
"Eco Bandits… thats the class we have… and no we're not environmentalists… Eco in the Badlands is elemental energy one can manipulate with the right focus… its less magic and more of a natural occurrence there… given how its lacking in Ooo though, may as well just call us Bandits… mainly our skills involve using heavy weaponry and stealing from others… for example… Cedric you really need to work on your awareness… got this from you when your back was turned." Rachel said when she held up a particular coinpurse in her hands as she smirks.
Cedric jolts as he checks his vest pockets and saw that they were empty.
"Clever… but not funny." He said as he tries to get his bag back.
Rachel smirks when she placed the coinpurse between her plump breasts which had the coinpurse vanish between them as she smirks at Cedric teasingly.
"Want it back?... may have to get me to go on a date with you to do so… you could do that or just reach in but… would be labeled as a perv if you did that so… options are limited." Rachel said with a VERY amused look right now.
Cedric didn't want to be labeled as a perv.
"Again clever. Dinner and a movie?"
Rachel smirks when she pulls the coinpurse from her breasts and tossed it to Cedric and she looks at Aggro.
"Hehe… looks like if we play our cards right, I get the cute wolf man, leaving Azy here with you Aggy." Rachel said when she winks at Aggro teasingly.
Aggro grins though Azure was amused.
"If he can handle me. If not, better make room for one more, Rachel."
Rachel looks amused and looks at Maite.
"Hehe, I like her, better step up your game sis otherwise I may as well take all the cuties." Rachel while teasing her sister.
Maite smirks.
"We'll see about that." She said.
Finally it was Cedric's turn.
"Like earlier, name's Cedric. Born and raised in the Crystal Eye Chamber. I maybe a wolf… but I'm also a lightning mage."
"Really?... you look a bit too… sword happy with the swords on your back…" Sarutobi said when he saw two swords on Cedric's back as Azure speaks.
"Maybe a lightning heavy Spellsword?... in some RPG's would consider that a Red mage… would say blue mage but that class normally mimic's monster skills and stuff so kind of taken." Azure said showing her RPG knowledge.
"Sexy and smart… my family has this power through generations observe." Cedric said as he ignites his hand with lightning before he grabs one blade and lets his power flow through it.
Many saw this as his blade glows with a plasma like look.
"Intersting… reminds me of this movie I saw once… have magnetic powers and you could mimic one of those fighters who use something called… what was it called again?... the… the… brute?... no… the… aggressive?... no no… started with an F though…" Sarutobi said while he rubs his chin since the name was on the tip if his tongue.
"The force?" Cedric said.
"Thats it!... can use some kind of power to lift and throw things and more… doubt you could do all that but use the force or magnetic magic from some different class… boom… Jedi… could may as well call you a proto-jedi until that happens though." Sarutobi said with a grin on his face.
"Hmmm… better that than be called a Sith. Those guys get ugly." Cedric said.
"Eh I don't know… least Sith can take hits… I mean Jedi die from blaster bolts… one guy got sliced in half and another just sustained himself on anger alone…" Azure said while she seemed to be a fan of Sith and stuff… given she had cursed elemental powers… may as well have her on the Dark side of the elemental spectrum.
"Ah… I see you're fan to the bad type. Won't lie, there's some that interest me." Cedric said.
Azure chuckles before she looks at the others.
"Just to check but who didn't introduce themselves yet?... got Aggro the Bulwark… myself the Cursed Black mage… Cedric the Proto-Jedi or lightning mage, Sarutobi the Ninja, Rachel and Maite the Eco Bandits… and Tiara the Hunter… that should be 7 so unless teach and his former apprentice want to give introductions on their names, classes, and what they will be doing, looks like that should be 7 people total with the class system and more from Bubblegum so far." Azure said when she did a quick head count on things.
Finn chuckles.
"May as well do this… I'm Finn, pretty sure you all have heard me and my heroic deeds which gives me the Hero Class. And this is my grand niece, Bronwyn, who's also Daredevil."
"Oh?... must say not bad… and not bad with the cute niece you have." Aggro said while he grins at Bronwyn mainly while he crossed his arms making them flex a bit.
"I Agree." Sarutobi said as he did his own flexing which made Bronwyn blush from this.
"Hey… I'm right here… protective Uncle who kills monsters and the Lich when he was around on the daily…" Finn said while he had a half lidded look on his face as he crossed his own arms and looks fearlessly at the two flirts.
Marceline chuckles.
"Oh calm down Finn. I'm sure Bron here can handle them."
"Hey just saying… you two may get interested in my niece but… just a word of warning you two… I trained Bronwyn personally… may not be as tough as me since she is more on speed but… pretty sure she can easily kick your collective asses… either that or give quick nutshots that no one can stop… iron wall or not, every guy has a weakness so pretty sure that will cause your wall to tumble down… and if not… well…" Finn said as he gained a VERY scary eyesmile.
"I fight monsters on the daily… and took down many who can kill me instantly and beings much stronger than I… make Bronwyn cry or upset her… I'll show you first hand what this number 1 Hero of many years your senior in the arts of combat can do… do I make myself clear?" Finn said while he smiles at them in a scary way showing he was serious… deadly so….
Sarutobi sweatdrops.
"S-Sure man no problem." He said as Cedric chuckles.
"Well Sarutobi… good luck."
Aggro chuckles at this.
"Well if I did do something stupid I'll welcome the challenge… however I think we should get back to some serious stuff, like actual fighting and dungeon diving, dates and stuff won't fund themselves right?... and if these classes work exactly like in an RPG, will need to get some experience so need to fight monsters to do that." Aggro said when he grins at Finn.
Finn was able to calm down.
"All right. Let's get some training done."
This then had the group with Bubblegum and Marceline in a lab as they were looking at various dungeons on a holographic table.
"OK everyone… these are the closest low level dungeons nearby that have popped up… thanks to the magical nature of Ooo, dungeons have started to form… thankfully thanks to Finn higher and mid ranked dungeons shouldn't be a problem but the low level ones are mainly to test to see if you can work in groups and level your classes in a safe way… if you do well, I may bump many here up to a mid ranked dungeon that Finn has had his eye on… but right now need to make sure you all can work well together for that kind of dungeon since you all don't really know each other besides names and classes." Bubblegum said when she smiles at the group.
"Hmmm… seems fair." Rachel said.
"Yeah… I will say this, 90% of the treasure you find in the dungeons will be yours to keep, thats after a 10% cut is taken… mainly for my kingdom so that it will be stored in case you need to treat injuries, pay off bills, and so on… mainly think of it as a savings account for serious matters like insurance that I'll set up for you all… may seem boring but better to have a backup for things just in case right?" Bubblegum said while she smiles sweetly at the group of newbies and Finn and Bronwyn.
"Hmmm… sounds quite reasonable." Sarutobi said.
"I agree." Tiara said.
"Yeah… you can decide when a total amount is stored to withdraw it or use it for more simple things like paying off medical bills or other costs… I'll make a card later when that happens so its like a reward you all can work to." Bubblegum said when she saw how eager they were to get started.
Finn chuckles.
"Alright gang, let's start."
This then had the group, minus Bubblegum heading towards a dungeon as Marceline joined them.
"So… mind if I ask why you're joining us, your highness?" Tiara said as Marceline looks amused.
"Call me Marceline or Marcy, many do… also Bonnie wanted me to make sure you guys live and stuff… I already leveled my own class quite a bit… contrary to my title you may as well call me a Bard type class… or a unique one called Rockstar… got a number of buffing skills with this bad boy here at the ready." Marceline said while she showed her Axe-Guitar showing what she meant… fitting given she hosts many concerts and stuff so a buffer of a party with close combat skills should be a good thing to have.
"I see…" Tiara said as the group kept walking.
"Yup… so you guys just focus on kicking ass and I'll kick up some sweet tunes that buff us." Marceline said when she strums her guitar.
"Hehe nice. Maybe I can get an autograph from you later, have a friend back home that's a big fan of your music." Cedric said.
"Oh?... got a name?" Marceline asked while she played her guitar a bit making it give a good tune.
"Her name is Angel." Cedric said.
"Angel?... nice name… she have a full name?" Marceline asked when she looks curious but Finn blinks.
"Wait… Angel?... are you talking about that *Guardian* Angel who tried to eat me years ago?" Finn said with a raised eyebrow.
Cedric blinks a bit.
"Wait, that was you? So you're the douchebag that injured her. She had a broken when I found her."
Finn then gave Cedric a half lidded look.
"She tried to trick me into thinking she was helping me in your home… a dungeon that sure, I could have stayed out of, but didn't… second… she used this scary face thing she did and at the time I was a kid who got freaked out and stuff… and finally… she tried to EAT me… before you get steamed… I was nearly literally steamed… she's lucky I didn't kill her… I kill monsters who try and kill me… and before you say how dare you…" Finn said as he points an arm to a nearby dungeon entrance and gave Cedric a half lidded look.
"We're about to enter a dungeon and fight monsters who maybe like you who lived there… think they would be willing to just hash things out and not try and eat us on first meeting?" Finn said while he gave Cedric a raised eyebrow as he crossed his arms.
"Also kid… I've been doing this adventuring stuff before you were born… nine times out of 10… most monsters DON'T show mercy… sure there are the rare ones… I leave them alone… I don't show mercy to those who want to eat my sweet meats off me bones." Finn said while he looks at Cedric seriously.
Cedric also have a serious look as Marceline rolls her eyes.
"Ladies… save the anger when you have to face some monsters."
Finn grumbles at that lady remark but he did say one thing before he entered the dungeon as he drew his sword.
"Fine… but know this Cedric, if that fake guardian Angel wants to stop by… tell her unless she apologizes not to come near me… I may do more than just a broken wing since unlike back then… I'm not a weak kid anymore." Finn said like it was a promise as he left many's view.
Cedric rolls his eyes.
"Not gonna happen. For now… time to fight and get paid."
As Cedric enters, Bronwyn rubs her head as she watched Cedric enter the dungeon and looks at Marceline.
"Just in case… should we be worried?" Bronwyn said as the other novice adventurers enter the dungeon before Marceline and Bronwyn…
"I would say no… but let's be on the lookout just in case… and keep your uncle away from wolf boy." Marceline said.
"Fair enough… you make sure wolf boy keeps from Uncle Finn, I'll keep Uncle Finn away from Cedric aside from lessons and stuff…" Bronwyn said as she approached the Dungeon entrance nearly leaving Marceline behind.
"Deal… unless you want to switch." Marceline said.
Bronwyn though shrugs.
"Eh, either or, we can play it by ear as long as we don't leave them alone for long." Bronwyn said as she officially left Marceline alone outside of the dungeon with no one else around her now.
'Okay… off to a rough start… but things will be interesting.' Marceline thought.
As the Group travels through the dungeon, Finn, Marceline, and Bronwyn watch as the Apprentice Heroes to be fight in their own ways against various monsters…
Aggro worked to taunt and tank the attacks and… the monsters look bewildered when Aggro wasn't harmed by their attacks.
Cedric grins as he uses his twin blades to block and attack any creatures that came at him while using his electric ability.
Azure just… stood there and lets the enemy attack her… though before their attacks could connect, her black fire acted like a shield similar to Gaara's sand from Naruto and moved to block the hits turning the weapons and some enemies to ash.
Marceline whistles.
"Damn… that's impressive."
"No kidding… Aggro may take the hits but her power is like a perfect counter for normal people… one wrong move unless your have an enchanted weapon… instant KO." Bronwyn said when she saw how similar yet different Aggro and Azure were.
As this happened, Maite and Rachel worked in temdem to fight enemies on their end, both grinning as they used massive two handed hammers with one side of the hammer having an Axe blade on the back end and they smashed the Golem into pieces… for the more fleshy monsters that came they used the sharp part of their hammer axes to slice monsters apart while Maite and Rachel grin darkly when they were covered in blood in no time when their bloodlust was at an all time high.
"Yikes… Maite and Rachel are now really enjoying the fight." Finn said.
Marceline sniffs the air and looks amused.
"And I think turned on… they may be sadists." Marceline said when she looks amused by how aggressive Maite and Rachel were as they beheaded a few monsters who tried to sneak up on them.
Finn, though in awe, sweatdrops after hearing Marceline's comment.
Sarutobi was using his ninja skills on a few monsters though didn't see one creature attacking him from behind however… his body turned to smoke.
This had a comical log appear where the monster struck after the smoke fade… and as the monster was confused, it was killed when Sarutobi used a Kunai in a reverse grip to stab it in the head from the side on a weak part of his head before the monster feel dead.
Finn chuckles.
"Cannot beat the classic."
"Indeed… anyway given the fact we have a party system… mind checking their levels Finn since you're the party leader?" Marceline said when she looks at Finn since they were killing monsters so should have leveled up a few times so far.
"Oh right." Finn said as he checks the levels of the students.
When he did, he saw a large menu with various names and what not… he also saw levels… for Azure… she was level 3… Cedric was level 4… Aggro was 4 when he leveled up just now… Maite and Rachel were level 3… Tiara, using her arrows to headshot many enemies to cover Finn, Marceline, and Bronwyn, were level 4… Finn and Bronwyn were level 2 since they were not fighting and just taking chip EXP so far while watching and Marceline was level 10 surprisingly enough… probably testing things out beforehand for Bubblegum and stuff so made sense on the higher level… all in all, aside from the speed that people killed things, many were doing well levelwise for the dungeon they were in.
"Almost all are equal. Granted Bronwyn and I will have to catch up it seems. Especially to your level Marcy." Finn said.
"Well I had a head start and you two have been holding back letting them go wild… for now given how much treasure we have and stuff, best if we head back and stuff so we don't run ourselves ragged." Marceline suggests since while having fun fighting was good, but getting overwhelmed would be bad in the long run.
Finn agreed.
"Alright everyone, heading out." He said to the apprentices.
Rachel and Maite groan from this.
"Already?... I'm having fun." Maite said when she swings her hammer axe so it rests on her shoulder.
"Yeah. Why ruin the fun?" Rachel said with a cute pout.
"Now now, you guys have collected enough treasure. Besides, we can come back tomorrow. It's better to retreat to fight another day." Finn said.
"Yeah…besides I'm not sure how long Azure's defense will last, same with Tiara with her arrows and Sarutobi with his tools… Aggro may do well on his own with his fists but even he will need to eat but Cedric may need to sharpen his swords, enough said, you maybe fine but right now you're a team and need to take into account of your allies health and resources to make sure that you don't do things that will endanger the team… its also a good thing to keep in mind if you are with others or on your own… in fact… Maite for example I can see a chip from your axe side of your hammer showing that one monster managed to damage it… so you'll have to repair and upgrade it for lower floors." Bronwyn said when she walked up to Maite and points to a small chip missing from Maite's axe which may not matter at the moment but could grow to a full on breakage if not taken care of properly.
Maite blinks when she saw the chip.
"Shit… she's right."
"Yeah… some of my arrows were eroded in slime bodies and some broke off in monsters bodies so I can't say that all my arrows are back…" Tiara said when she had plenty of arrows but not as much as she used to carry and Sarutobi checked his weapons and saw that a few Kunai needed sharpening and maybe he should upgrade his weapons for more long term use…
"Okay, I can see your point." Rachel said.
"Good, now let's get out guys." Finn said.
"Though Maite and Rachel, be careful when being attack happy. I went through something similar and after seeing my future… well I be still alive and a badass but… I would dragged someone down with me and that was a big lesson I had to learn."
"Really?... well not sure what caused that but in the badlands… you learn to show no mercy otherwise you die… we won't go too nuts in a battle craze but honestly monsters won't show mercy so why should we?... hell Maite got raped when she was 14 by some bandits and I killed them and Maite tortured that fucker before she ripped his head off… I got dominated by some Minotaur man when I was 16 before I got my revenge so not like we grew up soft, honestly they were nothing compared to Surge the boss of Bandits we work under… honestly she would end many monsters here with her speed and her own electric powers similar to Cedric here." Rachel said when she crossed her arms after placing her Axe hammer on her back.
Everyone blinked at this.
"Oh man… I'm sorry, I had no idea." Finn said when he thought he was giving advice but instead, may have opened old wounds or insulted the duo.
"Huh?... why are you sorry?... I was just telling this so you know we are not weak women who would go down easily in a fight even if our weapons break and stuff, going back for food and meals is good, but wanted to let you know we know how to fight with our fists if needed… anyway Maite ready to get some grub?... I got a date with Cedy here in town so may as well have a feast, not sure what you'll do since Azy may go on a date with Aggro but got plenty of people to fool around with." Rachel said when she smirks at her sister.
Maite smirks.
"Hmmm… can try out Sarutobi."
Sarutobi had a mischievous smirk on his face when he heard this.
"Well well well… looks like we have some sexy dates gentlemen… lets get the cash proper and have a fun night on the town in our own ways hehe." Sarutobi said when he knew he would get laid tonight since Maite seemed to not care if Sarutobi asked for sex or not later.
"Down with that." Cedric said as he retracted his blades.
"Hehe… nice… so Azure… given the talk…" Aggro said as Azure rolls her eyes.
"Get us a good restaurant with nice food and may give you a good time later if things go well… need to make sure I'm fueled up before doing anything… intense with a big guy like you… hope those muscles are not compensating though… can prove it to me later if the first part of the date goes well…" Azure said before she smirks when she just taunted Aggro into showing her a good time later to show that Aggro was not lacking where it counts.
Aggro grins.
"Oh I'll definitely show you."
Azure looks amused as the group left the dungeon, Marceline floats next to Tiara while she looks amused since it seems Tiara wasn't going to be on a date yet.
"Any plans for you Tiara?" Marceline said.
Tiara looks at Marceline.
"No… after restocking my ammo and making sure my equipment is fully repaired, I'll be heading to the Inn I'm staying at, unlike most here, I'm not willing to just have sex on a first meeting since I'm in no rush to look for a mate or plaything in bed." Tiara bluntly said REALLY making Finn sweatdrop at how similar Tiara was with Dusk in her past.
'Just like Dusk.' Finn thought.
"Right… still maybe you and I can hang out." Marceline said.
"Why?... given my personality, we wouldn't mesh well." Tiara said while she walked ahead of Marceline with a stoic look on her face as Finn got next to a bewildered Marceline.
"Don't take it to heart… if she is anything like Dusk… she just has a tough shell around her emotions you need to chip away at… trust me Dusk took a few years before she and I tied the knot and stuff…" Finn said while he pats Marceline on the back with a large hand.
Marceline smirks.
"Oh don't worry. I'm a patient woman." She said.
Seems the Vampire Queen has a plan of sorts.
Finn chuckles while he read her like a book.
"Just… make sure to speak with PB if you have plans for her… nuff said I had to do the same after I was dating Phoebe… trust me… don't want you and PB to break up again right?" Finn said as he walked ahead to walk next to Bronwyn while others follow as Marceline had a funny thought when Finn mentioned Bubblegum.
'Hmmm… maybe I could involve Bonnie… can make an interesting threesome.' Marceline thought.
As she follows… meanwhile with Bubblegum…
She was busy looking up various things while hoping things were going well… but she jolts when an alarm was going off with a warning a high tier dungeon was about to form near the Candy Kingdom.
"What?… a new dungeon?" Bubblegum said as she went to her mega computer.
When she did… she got wide eyes when she saw that the dungeon was high tiered even compared to high tier B to A rank Dungeons… this was a rare S ranked Dungeon… something that, if monsters got free from so close to her kingdom, her kingdom would instantly be destroyed since S ranked monsters were worse then the Lich… thankfully she had Finn and the others injected but they would need serious training for this particular dungeon… thankfully aside the Dungeon appearing near the Candy Kingdom… nothing seemed to exit… yet…
"I should give Finn a heads up." Bubblegum said before calling Finn.
Funnily enough, when she was about to hit the call button, she was called by Finn himself… when she picked up…
"PB!... we saw a massive thing appear near your Kingdom… is everyone OK?... were rushing back but it will take a bit… is that a dungeon!?... that thing looks massive compared to others." Finn said over the pink hologem communicator he had while those like Bronwyn and Tiara ran next to him as others gave chase…
Funnily enough… seems Marceline fucked waiting and sped to Bubblegum and before she could speak, bashed through a window with worry.
"Bonnie!... are you OK!?" Marceline said when she flew to her girlfriend and saw she was OK if a bit shaken from the sudden breakin from Marceline.
"Well… I am okay." Bubblegum said before looking at Finn.
"Also Finn, everyone is okay… and yes it's a dungeon. And judging from the analysis, it's a rare kind… S ranked."
"What!?... you mean one that appeared in one kingdom only type S rank!?... Phoebe had to help train some serious heavy duty units to keep monsters from an S Rank dungdom from her kingdom yet that was miles away… this is flipping next door!... man I hope this is the weaker side of the S ranks since aside the Gumball guardians… I… really don't think Banana guards will do much against S rank monsters… its weird though… normally when a Dungeon forms… monsters come out in waves yet… nothing is happening?" Finn said while he and others look to see the massive monolith of a tower like structure yet… nothing was coming from the entrance or top of the structure at all… it was… odd to say the least given the context of the stories of S Rank dungeons forming… this was an outlier if anything.
"For now, no. Nothing has come out… yet. It's still surprising that this dungeon showed up unexpectedly. But now knowing it's S ranked… you and the other's are gonna have to train hard before anyone thinks of entering." Bubblegum said.
"Yeah… even for Phoebe training her men hard, to barely survive an S Rank dungeon, one has to be around level 40 or so… she may not have those injections in her or her men yet like we have, but she did have her Court mage make a magical variant of what this status stuff is so we can at least have a ball park guess on what level we need to be at… and given that aside Marcy who is level 10… the rest of us need to kick it up hard to train to be able to even stand a chance…" Finn said as he got ready to hang up.
"Indeed… you and the others head back so we can discuss things, for now I need to calm Marcy down and get a window fixed." Bubblegum said.
"Right… see you later PB… if the monsters won't come out, may as well head in town, get things fixed and restock, rest up, and go training hardcore style." Finn said before he hung up and looks at the others.
"Hear that everyone?... may as well stick with your plans but when tomorrow happens, going to be training from morning till the afternoon… we maybe safe for now but if you know S rank dungeons, this could be a calm before the storm to get our guard down so try and not ruin yourselves with training too hard… we need everyone if we want any hope of succeeding." Finn said as he and Bronwyn ran harder to get to the Castle gates with everyone else slowling down to pant for breath as Finn and Bronwyn left them behind, seems level ups or not, training in cardio made it so that Finn and Bronwyn showed why they were hero types since they outclassed the group in stamina by running on ahead at full speed while the others had to pant and lean against walls to rest.
"Damn… looks like we got a bigger challenge now." Cedric said.
"N-No… kidding…. Fuck… need to train hard with running since we got left in the dust." Aggro said when he misunderstood what Cedric meant for a moment.
"Close… but was talking about the S ranked dungeon that just showed up." Cedric said.
"T-That too… fuck…" Aggro said as he wiped his forehead.
"Before we do anything… I suggest we get our items restocked before we would do anything datewise… given things just in case, we should keep our weapons and armor on." Azure said showing that she was willing to go on a date still… but given the Dungeon next to the Candy Kingdom… should be best to stay in her adventuring gear.
"She's right. Can't be too careful now." Tiara said.
"Yeah… for now let's restock and get our weapons repaired." Sarutobi said as he starts walking fully into the Candy Kingdom, mainly to a recently made Blacksmith shop perfect to do things just like this.
Everyone went to the blacksmith so their weapons can be fixed and what not.
As this happens… the scene starts to fade to black as the camera pulls back from the Candy Kingdom… showing the Kingdom under the shadow of the dungeon which loomed over them… why monsters were not coming out was anyone's guess… but this could be a long calm before a serious storm…
