Chapter 1: Broken Vows

Santana woke up in the hospital with her arm in a sling and saw Quinn's mother, Judy, sitting by Brittany and Santana's mother, Maribel. Then Noah entered the room with Liza Marie before Santana had Maribel take Brittany and Liza Marie out. Then she sat up and said to Judy, "I know the real reason Quinn got Puck drunk and that she thought Russell was Beth's daddy until you had a paternity test done. Quinn told me when she was with Biff, but I never thought she would hurt Liza Marie like that."

Then Patrick Anderson enters the room and says to Noah, "My wife, Pam, was one of the women you slept with, and she was hurting Blaine before that. I thought he didn't remember it because he was so young. Then when he told us he was gay, I knew whatever she did was the reason. I just never thought that he would hurt Liza Marie."

Santana sighs and says, "I can't believe that Quinn and Blaine tried to kill me after the crap they put Liza Marie through. Or that the cops didn't believe Quinn helped Blaine." Noah leaves after this, and Judy finds him staring at the babies in the NICU.

Noah looks at Judy and says, "I'm glad Beth is with Shelby now. What if Quinn did that with her? I'm just as surprised about all this as you. I never would have dated her if I knew Quinn was doing things like that."

Judy takes his hand and says, "I didn't know Russell was hurting her until Beth was born. I had Quinn put her up for adoption because I couldn't handle the truth. I never told anyone because I was ashamed. Come on, Puck. I doubt you still broadcast that you slept with Blaine's mom or Shelby. Now, let's head back to Santana's room."

They return to Santana's room and see Liza Marie lying beside her as they sleep. They don't see Kurt but hear Maribel talking to someone in the bathroom. Noah enters the bathroom to see Kurt crying and Maribel hugging him.
