When I came to, I saw nothing, I heard nothing, and I felt nothing. I tried to move, but it felt like it was a pointless endeavor.

I used all of my might to try to open up my eyes… but everything remained dark.

I would have sighed if I could have.

I tried to speak, I tried to move, I tried so hard to do something, anything, but I was stuck blind, deaf, and mute.

I mustered all of my strength and will to think, 'WHY?!' That exhausted me, and I lost my consciousness.

The next thing that I knew, I was lying on some sort of grass that was surprisingly comfortable.

I opened my eyes and saw the grass was blue… and the sky was green. I shook my head and rubbed my eyes, but nothing changed. The grass and sky remained the same, the opposite colors of what they should have been… on Earth.

I asked out loud, "What is going on here?" I looked around and began to walk toward the sun since there were no land marks.

I started to trek toward the star and kept moving onward.

I walked for what seemed to be hours, though the sun never seemed to move. It stayed at the same angle from the ground and the high point in the sky.

I sighed and then I looked up to the sky and asked tiredly, "Where am I, and what is going on here?!"

Out of the clear green sky came a blood-red Lightning Bolt.

I muttered, "Ah bugger…."

Then I felt pain like never before as I blacked out.

I let out a moan of pain as I felt my nerves burn and my body twitch.

After a while, I opened up my eyes weakly and took in my surroundings.

I saw that I was in a stone temple of sorts.

I groaned and, slowly rolled onto my stomach and crawled to my knees. I slowly stood up with shakey legs and weakly began to stumble forward.

Each step hurt, and every breath burned, but I pressed onward.

I grunted as I fell onto the stone floor and landed on my hands and knees hard. I groaned as I slowly rolled onto my side and then to my back as I looked up at the sky.

The sky was blood red, and the moon was a blueish hue. There were more stars than what I remembered seeing, and I did not recognize any of the constellations.

I forced myself to crawl toward the temple's high place, if only to get to the high ground.

I crawled on my hands and knees, using my iron will to force myself to continue forward, never stopping.

It took me a while, but I managed to get to my destination.

The closer I got, the heavier I felt. However, once I opened the wooden doors, I felt whole, as if I was healed, and I found a missing part of myself.

The instant I opened the door, I saw a person who could have been a king… he had a golden crown lined with emeralds, sapphires, and rubies. He had a thick black beard and kind electric blue eyes.

I forced myself to keep standing at the door even though I felt a massive pressure on all sides.

With great effort, I took a step toward the crowned man… then another. Each step took more effort than the last.

I thought I saw his mustache twitch upward. I think he either smirked or smiled… or it could have been my imagination.

I made it to the base of his throne before I was forced to kneel from all of the pressure.

For the first time, he spoke, "Impressive, most impressive."

I looked up at him, confused. However, I said nothing.

The King looked down at me and said, "You have impressed me. That is no easy feat to do."

I nodded my head once, still confused, and asked him, "What is happening to me?"

He shrugged and said, "That is all dependent on you." He paused before saying, "I gave you a few chances to give up, yet you kept fighting. You could have had a Gamer System, A Few Wishes, you could have had almost anything had you only stopped at the door…."

I looked down and asked, "Did I mess up? Did I lose everything?"

The kind-looking King shook his head and said, "No child, you pressed onward and went beyond plus ultra. You went above and beyond what anyone could have or would have done."

I looked up at him in open puzzlement.

The King chuckled softly and said, "You earned whatever you wish for and more,,,."

I frowned and said, "That is too good to be true… there has to be a catch…."

The King shook his head fondly and said, "Most would have jumped at the chance. I am glad you have some hesitancy."

I slowly nodded my head and asked, "Where does that leave us?"

"What do you want?" He asked me.

I sighed and said, "Home…."

The King's smile faded as he said, "It is gone and destroyed. You were the sole soul that survived the end. Through your own will, you managed to avoid Oblivion."

When he said the last word, I felt a shiver run down my spine and the very air seemed to cool down.

"Okay… let's say I believe you… what is going to happen to me now?" I asked.

"You can stay with me." He replied. The King paused and then said, "OR… I can send you to a new world."

I asked him, "What kind of world?"

"One that is filled with whatever you want." He said with a slight twinkle in his eyes.

I frowned deeply and asked, "Which world will I go to?"

"Whatever you choose." He said with a shrug.

I sighed softly and nodded my head once before saying, "Okay… okay… I guess I will go with your deal."

He clapped his hands together, and reality seemed to ripple at the seams.

It took only a moment for everything to change around us.

Instead of a temple or throne room, we stood in a blank white room.

I looked around and saw a window in the corner of the room and a white chair in front of me. I looked closer and saw a few more mundane features in the White Room.

The King said, "Okay, let's start you out with selecting a world or more."

I asked him, puzzled, "What do you mean by a world or more?"

His eyes twinkled as he said, "Be sure that the world that you go to is compatible with the other worlds… otherwise it may become complicated."

I asked him, "Uh… sir… um… do the powers have to match the worlds?"

The King chuckled and said, "They should meld with the world, but it is not a big deal if it is close."

I slowly nodded my head and asked, "Ookkaayyy…. So what world will I be going to?"

He snapped his fingers, which echoed in the white room. He said, "Pick any world that you want,"

I thought about it for several minutes as I began to pace. After a while, I asked the King, "Could we combine a couple of worlds?"

He nodded his head and said, "Yes."

"Okay then." I replied as I said, "So I want to go to the world of How To Train Your Dragon. I want to combine that world with X-Men the Movie. Then mix it with My Hero Academia… my idea is that I start out during the Viking Age and go to Modern, then the Future."

The King paused for a few moments as he processed what he just heard.

I fidgeted as I waited for his response.

After several long minutes of waiting, he replied, "Very well… not sure how you will live THAT long without help or getting bored."

I grinned and asked him, "Okay, what are my limits for wishes?"

The King said, "No moon busters. No super-reality warpers. No Weapon-X Family."

I slowly nodded my head and said, "Okay… okay." I rubbed my chin in thought as I pondered what I wanted. "May I become a Shape Shifter of sorts? I would like to be an Anthrozil of sorts."

The King stroked his beard in thought as he hummed to himself before saying, "Yes and yes. I will allow it."

I pumped my fist in the air and said, "I want to be able to turn into ALL types of dragons."

"Nope…." He said.

I frowned and said, "Could we try it at least?"

The King sighed softly and then said, "You can't have them all at once."

I slowly nodded my head and then asked, "Can I start out with, say… ten dragon transformations… and then have my human form and a hybrid form?"

He shrugged and said, "Go for it. Though know that you will not be at one point the whole time."

I nodded my head, confused, though I was more focused on choosing my dragons. I said, "I want the dragons from Bryan Davis's "Dragons in Our Midst", "Oracles of Fire", and "Children of the Bard". The healing, danger sense, and semi-immortal, and fire breathing.

The King sighed and said, "Well, you will not die of old age in your dragon form and will be able to speak in the human tongue."

I nodded my head and then said, "Okay, now I want the transformations of a; Night Fury, Skrill, Deadly Nadder, Monstrous Nightmare, Change Wing, Gronkle, Red Death, Bewilder Beast, Smothering Smoke Breath. To start out with."

The King smirked and said, "I see you thought about it… I guess I will allow it. Now, how do you want to choose other options?"

I said slowly, "Depends… how old will I be when I arrive there?"

"How old do you want to be?" He answered my question with a question.

I shrugged and said, "Five or six?"

The King paused and said, "Okay, that works."

I asked him curiously, "Sir, for every year that I am alive, may I have another dragon? Then when I turn 10, 21, 35, 65, 100, 200, 250, 500, 1000, 1500, 5000, 10000, 100000, etc… I get a bonus of sorts?"

The King stroked his beard in thought as he said, "Sure…. I will allow it. He nodded his head and said, "Yes, that will work."

I asked him, "Will I be able to learn and use Magic?"

The King's eyes twinkled as he said, "I will allow you to figure some things out."

I nodded my head and said, "I suppose that is more than fair enough."

The King asked me, "Now, what would you like to look like?"

I frowned and said, "The same way that I look now…." I looked at my body and realized I was nothing. I saw I was see-through.

The King arched an eyebrow.

I sighed softly and then said, "Okay… I want jet black hair and forest-green eyes that can shift color depending on my mood from toxic green to emerald green to forest green and everything in between." I thought about it and said, "I want to be fair-skinned with the ability to tan some."

The King nodded his head as I spoke, and a mirror formed in front of me.

As I described how I looked, I saw myself appear in the reflection.

After doing that, I smiled, liking how I looked.

I asked the King, "Now what?"

He chuckled softly and said, "You see, that is up to you.,,, how do you want to appear in the world?"

I rubbed my chin and thought about it as I said, "I am not entirely sure…. Perhaps I will be the same age as the main crew when I arrive at Berk?"

The King nodded his head and said, "Okay, but you did not answer the question of HOW you are going to arrive in the world."

I sighed and then said, "Maybe we can place me on an island near Berk and have me being the sole survivor of a raid from foreign enemies."

"Hmm, that is not a bad idea. I will allow it." He said to me.

I asked, "How am I getting to Berk?"

He gave me a blank look that told me that I had just said something extremely stupid.

I face palmed and muttered, "Right… I can turn into a dragon or a hybrid… so that is one way for me to show up at Berk."

The King nodded his head once, then said, "Okay, this may hurt a little." He snapped his fingers together and then clapped his hands together.

I dropped to my knees as it felt like my blood was filled with liquid fire and acid. My bones hurt as though they were being broken and crushed as it agonized me. Then my brain began to hurt as it felt like it was melting and reshaping, reforming. I let out a voiceless scream of anguish.

Then my world grew to black.
