AN: So, this new shipping fanfic of mine is going to be a Mollibby version of the Ghost and Molly McGee episode, A Period Piece. Unlike the actual episode, it would be Molly who would get her period while Libby comforts her by spending the day with her.

First Period

One day, Molly and her girlfriend, Libby were excited to spend another wonderful day together. After getting through an entire school week, Molly was ready to finally have her day off with Libby. She already had the whole day planned out and wanted nothing more than today to be perfect.

Soon, Molly heard the doorbell ring, and she rushed to the front door where she greeted Libby. Happy to see one another, Molly and Libby hugged each other in joy.

"Libby! I'm so glad that you could make it! I have the whole day planned out for us! I promise that we are going to have the best day ever!" Molly exclaimed.

"Well, whatever it is you have planned, I'm sure that the two of us would have a wonderful time together! So, what do you have planned, anyway?"

"Oh, you are going to love it! I was thinking that we can have a date at the movie theater and maybe even get some ice cream later as we watch the sunset!"

"Ooh! Sounds romantic! I see that you have the day planned out!" Libby noticed.

"Of course! Nothing but the best for my wonderful girlfriend!" Before Molly could say another word, her smile suddenly dropped before she suddenly clutched her stomach in pain. "Ugh."

"Molly, are you okay?" Libby asked, concerned.

"Uh, y-yes. Never better!" Molly said with a nervous smile. "I think I just have a bit of a stomach ache. I'll be right back and we can have our wonderful day together!" Molly said before rushing to the bathroom.

A few minutes had went by and Molly still hadn't come out of the bathroom. It was at this point when Libby was starting to get concerned for Molly. She didn't know what was going on, but had a feeling that Molly wasn't feeling so good. Not wanting to wait anymore, Libby decided that it was time to check on Molly. She approached the bathroom door and gave it a couple of knocks before calling out for her girlfriend.

"Molly? You have been in there for awhile. Are you okay?"

In response, Molly slowly opened the door, with a nervous expression.

"Sorry to keep you waiting, Libby. I think I might have a bit of a problem." Molly admitted with a blush.

It was at that moment when Libby noticed a few drops of blood falling from Molly's skirt. That was all she needed to see to know what was going on.

"Molly, I think you just got your first period." Libby explained. "I suppose it does make sense that it would occur around this time of your life. As someone who had my first period myself, I know what it is like. How are you feeling?"

With a blush, Molly replied, "Maybe a little embarrassed."

"It's okay! Here use these!" Libby handed Molly some pads and tampons to use.

"Thanks, but how did you get them?" Molly asked curious.

"Oh, I always keep some extras with me just in case." Libby explained.

With a grateful smile, Molly closed the door once more. It felt kind of weird for Molly to be using tampons for the first time, but she eventually got the hang of it. After getting changed into a new skirt and pair of biker shorts, Molly sat on the couch with Libby to relax. Libby started to feel bad for Molly as she knew that Molly was really looking forward to today.

"Molly? Are you feeling okay?" Libby asked, even though she knew how much of a stupid question that was. Molly missed out on a wonderful day! Of course she wasn't okay!

"I can't believe that I had my period today of all days!" Molly complained. "The blood is as bad as it gets, right?"

"Oh, I wish. I haven't even mentioned all the cramps you are going to get." Libby replied, feeling bad for her girlfriend.

In response, Molly laid face down on a pillow in frustration. To make her feel better, Libby held her hand with a reassuring smile.

"I know that it seems like a lot, but trust me, you'll get over having your period eventually!" Libby assured.

"I know. I just really wanted to spend the day with you." Molly sighed.

"Well, there's always next time! Besides, sometimes it is nice to just relax and spend the day inside! You said that you had plans for us to go to the theater, right? How about we watch a movie here instead? We can watch whatever you want!" Libby promised.

As much as she wanted to spend the day how she originally wanted to, Molly knew that Libby was right. Whether she liked it or not, she was stuck inside for now, so she ended up choosing a romance movie to watch.

With that, Molly and Libby began to watch the movie together. Throughout the movie, Libby snuggled up to Molly to comfort her. Happy to have her girlfriend by her side, Molly snuggled Libby back, enjoying every second of the movie. Even though today didn't go as Molly planned, she was still happy that she was still able to spend time with her girlfriend.

By the time the movie ended, Libby noticed that Molly fell asleep as she leaned against her shoulder. Seeing this caused Libby to smile. Molly looked so cute when she was asleep. It almost made Libby wish she didn't have to wake her up.

At that moment, Libby leaned in and gave Molly a soft kiss on the cheek to wake her up. Letting out a yawn, Molly slowly opened her eyes before giving Libby a smile.

"How are you feeling, Molly?" Libby asked.

"I feel better thanks to you!" Molly replied. "Thanks for keeping me company during my period!"

"Anything for you, Molly!" Libby said before she and Molly kissed each other on the lips.

Today had been a tough day for Molly and she had no doubt that things were only going to get worse for her from there. Despite that, Molly had comfort in knowing that Libby would always be there by her side every step of the way.
