This is a story that I just got in my head and decided to write it down. This is a Mateo X Carla story so please no criticizing it and hope you enjoy

Mateo's preview

Mateo had just been dubbed the master wizard by Elena after her coronation, he was proud of this title as his mother hugged him. He thought about how much had changed over the last four years what he had done he had helped princess Sophia release Elena from the amulet and then helped them take down Shriki, but that wasn't the end of their troubles Shriki had to come back but this time with allies which were Malvagos three to be exact named Fiero, Victor Delgado and Carla Delgado But luckily, they were able to turn Fiero to stone and defeated Shiki but the Delgado's got away And found there mother/wife Ash Delgado they nearly succeeded in their evil plot, but luckily were stopped just in time and Victor Delgado was captured slowly, but surely the other two Were caught but that was still not the end of their troubles. It turns out Elena's cousin Esteban secretly worked with Shriki to kill Elena's parents. But he escaped jail with the three Delgados but daring there escape Victor Delgado refused to go with Ash but was turned to stone his daughter to refused, but was not turned to stone and Esteban went with Ash and when Elena and her troops arrived all they found was Carla Delgado crying standing next to her father Stone figure she had practically begged Elena to set her father free All the while Ash and Esteban were seeking the magical well that could amplify ashes magic they arrived at the well, but instead of Ash, gaining new magical powers it was Elena and Esteban who got a magic glow up but after that Esteban and Ash teamed up with a sorcerer named Chatana and a bat who can shape shift his wings named Tziloco and they sought out the shadows of the night the creatures responsible for the disappearance of ancient maroon and they succeeded in doing so and Elena and Ash were taken to the spirit world well the shadows of the night now, calling themselves the four shades of awesome team up with Esteban to take over Avalor but Elena was able to return just in time to stop the four shades of awesome but Elena was about to be turned to stone but Esteban sacrificed himself for her and Elena forgave him and because of that her emotion magic kicked in and freed everyone who was turned to stone and together Elena and Esteban stopped the last shade and peace was restored to Avalor but after all that happened Mateo still didn't feel whole he felt like he was missing something but couldn't figure out what but it didn't matter at the moment it was time to party

Carlas preview

Carla was thinking of how far she had come since she met Elena at first she was a power obsessed person who didn't let anything stand in her way her and her father failed the first time they tried to take over Avalor so then they set out to find Shriki the evil sorcerers who killed Elena's parents long ago they made a plan to take over Avalor with the help of a Malvago named Fiero who had turned them into Malvago's but ultimately their plan had failed and Shriki and Fiero had died but when they were at their house deep in the woods some one else was there it was Ash Delgado her Mom who had set off to become a master Malvago 10 years earlier they made a plan to drain Elena of all of her magic using the jewel from the Septer of night but in the end, their plan ultimately failed, and her father was captured and in a attempt to rescue him she was captured to and then as her mother was at the magic well she was captured too but after Esteban secret was revealed they all made a plan to escape but in the process Carla was nearly captured again but her father saved her just in time and when Ash was demanding that they go to the magic well her father Victor Delgado refused to go with her and her own mother turned him to stone Ash tried to get Carla to come with her but she refused to go and so she was captured again but this time she didn't resist arrest she begged Elena to set her father free saying that she would do anything but Elena was not in a very good mood and was not going to do so at the moment which Carla could not blame her for after all she did so she vowed that if the princess ever needed her help for anything she would do so willingly and she got her chance Elena needed both her and her father to set this ancient warrior who has been in prison on a island free and the only way to free them was by a dark wizard a.k.a. a Malvago both her and her father agreed to do so and in doing so they earned the trust of the princess and her friends and with the help of Mateo were transformed back into regular people, and they vowed that they would help the princess defeat Ash and her allies and luckily they were able to do so, and everything was fine. Now she was happy living with her father in the kingdom of Avalor. But something was off she didn't feel whole like there was a piece of her missing but she didn't care at the moment it was time to dance.

Both Mateo and Carla we're dancing a very, very, very awkward dance by themselves, but they then bumped into each other. They turned around to apologize to whoever they bumped into, but who they saw their heart race. They didn't know what was happening. But it was getting to the partner dance both of them didn't have somebody to dance with so they decided to dance with each other. It was fun and they both loved it but little did they know Carla's dad was watching glaring at Mateo. He did not approve of that wizard dancing with his little girl but he had to admit his daughter did look happy, but that doesn't mean he was not gonna have a little chat with her when they got home meanwhile Mateo's mom was watching her son dance too, and she was so very happy for him. Her little boy was growing up. It Seemed like just yesterday she was holding him in her arms for the first time but now he was a master wizard dancing with a girl how far he had come she thought

at the Delgado's house

Carla me and you need to have a little chat about that boy said, Victor, while sitting in a chair, his leg crossed over the other with his head and his fist

About what boy ? Asked Carla.

The boy you were dancing with tonight Mateo was it. The princess royal wizard

what about him papa?

Why were you dancing with him?

I don't know because it was the only person available

Is that so young lady?

Yes, it's so. Why are you making such a big deal about this papi it was just one little dance nothing to it

All right if you say so have a good night, Carla

but this got Carla thinking she felt something during the dance something she couldn't quite explain while she was dancing with Mateo it just felt so magical the empty feeling she was feeling earlier just went away and she felt whole. She didn't know what was happening or why but for some reason she didn't want it to end

meanwhile, with Mateo

Mateo had just arrived at his mom's house after the dance he was planning on staying with her for about a week after all the crazy stuff Had happened. his mother walked up to him with a very joyful smile on her face and asked him who was that girl you were dancing with Mateo

Oh, that was just Carla Delgado

Mateo's mom knew of Carla Delgado because Mateo had told her of her she knew what she used to be but how she had changed so she really didn't mind so she asked how their dance was

Mateo responded by saying it was fun And that he enjoyed the night overall, but when he went to bed, he couldn't stop thinking about the dance it was just so magical to him and not in the magical as in wizard magic but magical in the feeling he couldn't really explain it but all he knew is that he enjoyed it and made him feel whole and he never wanted it to end
