Clips from last episode playing on screen, Chris narrating
"Last time on Total Drama: The Ultimate Battle, we used a challenge location that's probably not been used before. Pyongyang, North Korea! And it pushed our sorry casts butts to their limits! Well, some of them anyway. Others moved quickly and successfully, while apparently some our cast is immune to sleeping gas. What kind of Immunity is that?"
"A handy one around you, to be frank." Chef interjected. Chris shrugged his shoulders.
"Got me there. Anyway, Staci, to no ones surprise except her own, got the boot. In other news, the sky is blue."
"What about on a overcast day?" Chef asked.
"The sky is still blue behind the clouds Chef! Science! Now quit interrupting me!" Chris yelled. Chef rolled his eyes. Chris cleared his throat before continuing his intro.
"Today, we head into Ashland, Oregon for yet another banging challenge! Who's ready to rise above the rest and prove that they're the best? Find out today on...
TOTAL DRAMA: THE ULTIMATE BATTLE!"
Total Drama Jumbo Jet: Somewhere over Jackson County, Oregon; First Class
"But Batman adheres to a strong moral code! Killing Joker would be crossing the line that he can't return from!" Harold exclaimed, while reaching for another bag of chips to open. Noah subtly shook his head.
"Nah, just killing Joker would be sensible. Or even just letting him die when's he in danger. There's no reason to save him." Noah replied. Emma sighed and turned to her sister.
"Nerds. You hearing this Kitty? Kitty?"
Kitty was out of her seat and now standing by Noah and Harold.
"I agree with Noah on this one. If anything, Red Hood's got the program down. He can do the dirty work Batman doesn't want to do." Kitty crossed her arms, while Noah nodded along. Harold intellectually frowned, while Emma rolled her eyes again.
"How could I forget? My sister has her own strands of nerd DNA as well. Pity."
Elsewhere in first class, Heather was having a drink at the bar with Geoff, who was talking about some activities he did before the season started. Dawn was chatting with Crimson and Ennui like they were her own personal diary. Izzy was sleeping upside down on one of the couches, making Mary and Rodney who were also trying to take naps a bit uncomfortable. Jay, Lorenzo, and Duncan were enjoying some mac and cheese with Beth and Brick, while recalling their escapades in North Korea. Jay, distracted for just a second, turned his head and saw Scarlett putting some extra hot sauce on her mac and cheese, making himself shiver in fear. The final two people in first class, Sky and Jasmine, were quietly talking away from the others.
"So, have ya made your mind up on Brick's and Cody's alliance offer? Or are you still deciding?" Asked Jasmine, curious. Sky hummed, unsure what to say.
"I'm still not sure what to do honestly. I kind of like where I'm at, but at the same time that alliance sounds like a really good one. If anything, I'd like to be an associate member." Sky temped, rubbing a strand of hair.
"Well, there's still 81 of us crazy competitors, so I don't think you have to rush your decision mate." Jasmine reassured Sky.
"I hear that. We might be here until 2025." Sky joked. Jasmine chuckled back.
"Don't give Chris any ideas."

"Leshawna, I don't remember the last time someone got under my nerves as much as Taylor. I almost called her a word that I've never called anybody before! She's that bad!" Bridgette seethed, still bothered by the North Korea challenge. Leshawna patted her arm while DJ nodded along in sympathy.
"Sister trust me, she ain't gonna last long with an attitude like that." Leshawna reasoned. Bridgette scoffed.
"That's another problem. She's an Alejandro simp! She's probably going to be one his playing cards that sticks around way longer than she should. Ugh!"
Chet, within earshot along with Spud and Rock, awkwardly tried to act like he wasn't hearing anything, which in turn just made him look like he had been eavesdropping. Leshawna took notice.
"You got something to say boy?" Leshawna questioned Chet, who shook his head.
"Um, nope. Total privacy back here! Heh heh." Chet awkwardly half laughed.
"Chillax brah, there's over 60 of us cramped in the back side of this flying contraption. There's going to be some overlap." Rock reasoned, not bothered by Leshawana's gaze.
"He's got a point." DJ nodded, agreeing with Rock. Leshawna softened up.
"Yeah, Chris has really never been one for privacy." The sista' reasoned.

"For once, I don't have my next set of moves planned out. There's really no point in trying to manipulate eliminations when there's this many people. Too risky. I'll just have to make small moves and gains here and there. The most important thing right now is my image."
Confessional- Dave
"It's so sweaty and disgusting back in economy."
Confessional- Taylor
"Blonde bimbo is on my personal chop block! She CAN NOT disrespect me the way that she did and get away with it!"
Confessional- Mike
"So apparently Owen has a personal list of restaurants he's cleaned completely out of food. Some people may ask how he eats all the food, but I'm wondering if he spends every dollar he has on food. My goodness."
Confessional- Duncan
"Not gonna lie, hot sauce on mac and cheese is pretty decent. (semi sly voice) I see you Scarlett."
Confessional- Chet
"The first step to making moves is gathering information. Me and my bros are gonna be loaded with intel as long as we're crammed into this jet."
Confessional- Emma
"I'm tied at the hip to a bunch of nerds. As least Eva somewhat balances that out."
Confessional- Brody
"This is the first time on Total Drama that I've been away from Geoff for a decent period of time. Not to be frank, but I'm not exactly feeling the love from the rest of the cast. I hope they don't find me annoying."
Confessional- Trent
"I don't like hating on my fellow castmates, but Brody can be really annoying. When your vocabulary consists exclusively of 'dude', 'wicked', and 'awesome', it's going to get on peoples nerves. Maybe not on the same level as Max, but in the same ballpark."
The plane landed and unloaded its guests at the main airstrip in Ashland, Oregon. After a hopping on shuttles which ushered the contestants to the middle of the city, the cast hopped out of the busses and took in their surroundings. The mountains and scenery in the spring is quite the sight to behold. Many of the contestants wish they had their phones on them so they could snap a few pics.
"I admit it, some of these locations so far have been pretty cool. It doesn't get much more green and pretty than this." Commented Carrie, taking in the surroundings.
"It beats Pyongyang, that's for sure." DJ chipped in, taking in a breath of fresh air.
"Hey, this water fountain looks pretty cool!" Brody exclaimed, propping himself up to get a drink.
As soon as Brody started drinking, his face shifted in to one of disgust.
"Blegh! That is the worst thing I have ever drank in my life! There's no way that's water!" Brody yelled, coughing. Geoff gave him a couple pats on the back.
"One of the traditions of this town is initiating yourself into it by drinking from the Lithia Fountains. It has a very distinct mineral taste. This isn't the challenge today, but if you want to immerse yourself with one of the cultural centerpieces of this town, go for it. You'll be performing in one of the Shakespeare theaters tonight, so you've got about two hours to chill before show time. Have fun and break a leg! Just hopefully not before you go onstage though!" Chris announced, putting on some shades and getting into a limo with Chef.
Chris and Chef zipped away in the limo, leaving the other contestants to stare at each other.

"Getting a bite to eat. Duh!"
"So you're from Hollywood huh?" Asked Blaineley.
"Technically Westwood, but pretty much, yeah." Responded Kelly, as the duo walked down the main street. The sun was setting behind the mountains to the west, which set the stage for some beautiful lighting downtown. Residents were out and about, enjoying the nice weather. The camera crew following the cast around definitely drew some attention that otherwise wouldn't of been there. The older blonde women didn't seem to mind people staring at them that much.
"Never really thought about having kids. Being on tv took up so much of my time." Blaineley remarked.
"Wasn't your main show only seasonal?" asked Kelly. Blaineley frowned.
"Yeah, but I did some other stuff here and there... it was a living."
Kelly nodded, but still had Blaineley's slight ire.
"Have you worked any jobs before?" Blaineley asked, questioningly. Kelly tried to think of something, but came up with nothing.
"I don't think so. Got married right after high school, and that was that."
"Dude must've been loaded." Blaineley, pushing for more information, responded. Kelly had a slight defensive look on her face, but just accepted the fact and nodded.
"Yeah, pretty much."
"Looks you have a profile to build Kelly. Besides having a daughter and being rich, there isn't much to you." Blaineley lamented, not getting any rise at all out of Kelly. Kelly shrugged.
"We'll see what the game does for me."
Confessional- Blaineley
"I haven't competed that much in Total Drama, but even I know that a cardinal rule is that you don't let the game play you. You play the game!"
Elsewhere, Noah's alliance was sitting down in a nice restaurant and chatting strategy. Well, not Owen, who was obviously eating his usual fill. But the sisters and Eva seemed to be pretty dialed in.
"So today's challenge is gonna be about our acting skills, so who here has any acting experience besides me and Owen?" asked Noah.
"Well, we have all been on tv plenty of times. It can't be that much of a transition." Reasoned Eva.
"Theater is a whole different animal Eva. You can't just free-ball it like you can on reality shows. You got to be precise and be on script." Noah explained.
"I think it'll be super fun. I've always wanted to do some acting." Kitty beamed.
"Yeah, I'm not worried about her, she'll pull it off. She's full of talent." Emma added in.
"I have a fairly good idea about what type of roles Eva can excel in." Owen, from the next table over, commented. Eva raised her eyebrows.
"And that would be...?" Noah questioned, not sure where this was going.
"Eva's pretty monotone nowadays. She can lowkey be the comedic relief of an act. Then when you don't expect it, you pepper in some old Eva." Owen articulated, while finishing off a drumstick.
"I can see it." Replied Kitty. Emma nodded in agreement.
"Well there you go Eva, I think you now have an idea of what you should shoot for this challenge." Noah, taking a quick drink, agreed with the rest.
"Attention castmates, please report to the Shakespeare Theater Campus in 15 minutes! Thank you!" Chris yelled through an earpiece that everyone had for the challenge today. Noah and Emma rubbed their ears a bit at the loud audio.
"Welp, as they say among actors, break a leg." Noah told his alliance.
"Is that statement supposed to be sarcastically good?" Asked Owen. Noah was about to respond but just shrugged his shoulders, not willing to explain.
"Let's just get a move on and do a good job tonight." Emma clarified. Owen nodded.
Shakespeare Theaters, 7:30 PM
"Welcome to some of the premiere theaters outside of Broadway campers! Tonight's challenge will be difficult for some, and maybe right up some of your guy's alleys." Chris announced, wearing a formal suit and tie.
"Public performances is my scene Chris! Let's get a move on!" Courtney excitedly proclaimed.
"Calm your horses there partner. So yes, your challenge tonight is going to be acting on stage. The kicker is that you'll being doing it with 9 other people that will each be picked by the last person that got picked. One of the groups will have 11 people. That's seven groups of 10 and one group of 11 for those that suck at math." Chris stated.
"Yea yea, season 2 rehash with a math lesson. We get it." Duncan sarcastically replied. Chris frowned but continued on.
"Each team will have a captain. Captain gets first pick. Whatever team bombs the hardest tonight will be going to the elimination room. The worst actor from each group outside of the winning group will also be up for elimination, so no coasting by off your team's good performances. Only the best performance and the best two actors outside of the winning group go to first class tonight. So to sum things up, 12 in first class, then either 16 or 17 will be up for elimination depending on how the team with 11 people does. Simple enough?"
Chris was met with nods and 'yeas'.
"Good. Our captains will be the winners from each season. Owen, Duncan, Heather, Cameron, Mike, Shawn, Geoff, and Brody. Get picking, you're going in chronological order from when you won. Owen, if you will?" Chris finished and gestured.
"Noah. Easy choice!" Owen exclaimed. Noah smiled.
"Probably the first time someone has chosen me first. Woo-hoo." Noah gave Owen a high five.
Duncan looked at the cast and rubbed his chin in thought. He really didn't want to pick Courtney, but at the same time he wanted to put together the best team possible.
"Uh, Courtney I guess."
Courtney obviously felt conflicted, but was too excited about the challenge to care.
"Alejandro." Heather chose, to no ones surprise. Alejandro grinned.
Cameron didn't want pick Zoey since Mike was picking next, so he chose an alternative.
"Brick."
"At your service!" Brick saluted and gave Cameron a fist bump. Mike quickly pointed at Zoey.
"Zoey." Mike gave her a hug as she joined him.
"Jasmine." Shawn, wasting no time, picked. His Aussie girlfriend gave him a smile.
Geoff really wasn't so sure about his pick, since he was still distant from Bridgette, couldn't pick Brody, and didn't want to take away the cops from Brody.
"Leshawna."
Some of the cast seemed pretty surprised this, but Leshawna gladly came up and gave Geoff a high five.
"MaCarthur, get over here babe!" Brody almost yelled. The female cop shrugged her shoulders and stood next to Brody without much care, much to Brody's dismay. Chris interjected.
"You get to pick now MaCarthur, we'll go clockwise and counter clockwise throughout picking."
"Sweet. Sanders you're with us." The two cops reunited. Brody meekly smiled.
"Harold." Leshawna picked, with no hesitation.
"Yes!" Harold quietly fist pumped.
"Samey." Jasmine was very reserved as she chose. Samey smiled while Amy frowned. Zoey thoughtfully looked around for her pick.
"Gwen."
Gwen smiled while Courtney growled very lowly.
"Tyler." Brick sharply stated. Tyler grinned and mouthed to Lindsay that he had her next.
"Amy."
Amy had a wicked smile on her face, while Heather felt some inner disdain at Alejandro's choice.
"Bridgette!" Courtney yelled, knowing Bridgette had a lot of experience in front of an audience, and was still on relatively good terms with the blonde. Bridgette nodded and Courtney and stood quietly next to her.
"Emma."
"And I'll take Kitty." Emma quickly cut in, knowing the group had two picks in a row. Kitty gave joyful smile to the other three members of the group.
Bridgette was conflicted between DJ and Ryan. Both were alliance members, and Bridgette knew very little about their acting skills.
"Ryan." Bridgette chose, making Stephanie glare for a second before remembering the alliance. Ryan looked stoked to be on Duncan's team.
"Cody." Amy, with what almost seemed to be a fake smile chose her sister's crush. Samey's face quickly dropped, which did not go unnoticed by the other sister.
Cody sent a apologetic look towards Samey, before gulping at his team. Heather actually seemed pretty content with the choice.
"Lindsay. I gotcha!" Tyler excitedly picked and hugged his girlfriend. Lindsay gave him a kiss.
Gwen looked around before making eye contact with Trent.
"Trent, hope you brought your guitar." Gwen gave the musician a fair smile, to which he shook his head. Samey didn't waste much time after this pick.
"Sky."
Sky happily joined her Pahkitew comrades.
"DJ." Harold quickly targeted the big softie. DJ seemed happy to be teammates with the trio already chosen.
"Alright, tough pick. I'm going to go with Devin." Sanders took a second, but picked out Devin among the crowd.
"Carrie, obviously." Devin picked his girlfriend, who happily joined him.
Now it was DJ's turn to be unsure of his next pick. He could choose Stephanie from the honorary alliance, but that might sit wrong with Ryan.
"Justin."
Justin seemed indifferent but looked eager for the challenge. When putting together an acting lineup, it didn't hurt to have a model on your team.
Sky pointed to Josee, much to the chagrin of her teammates. Josee stared down Jasmine and Samey as she joined the group.
"Ezekiel." Trent, much to the surprise of everyone else, chose the previous feral man.
"Sick! Let's get it!" Ezekiel gave Trent a high five.
Zoey, Mike, and Gwen looked at Trent questioningly.
"Beth!" Lindsay excitedly picked her friend. The two hugged.
Cody knew he needed an alliance member on the team, and the only one left was Sierra.
"Sierra, I guess."
Sierra squealed while Samey sighed again.
"Stephanie." Ryan chose as the two daters nodded at each other.
"Eva."
Kitty's pick that the entire alliance was on the same team, which was very beneficial.
"Izzy." Eva jabbed her thumb at the crazy red head.
"Alright, some team E-scope action I see!" Izzy happily joined the team.
Stephanie had no idea who to pick.
"Um, Dwayne. Sure, let's go with him."
"Make sure to pick Junior next!" Dwayne stated, which embarrassed Junior.
"You have the next pick on the team when it swings back around dad." Junior told his dad, who awkwardly laughed.
"I'll take Jay." Sierra picked the twin not wearing protective gear. Jay seemed a bit surprised, but joined the team. Alejandro and Heather both groaned at the pick.
"Katie." Beth picked. The team was very reserved, and did not seem bothered by the pick.
"Rodney."
Ezekiel's choice was a bit surprising, and the team shared questionable looks with each other about the team that was forming.
"Jacques. Get your butt over here." Josee didn't mess around with her choice.
Justin really wasn't that familiar with the rest of the cast. More or less randomly, he pointed at Dakota.
"Ok, thanks." Dakota appreciated the pick. Sam sighed but remained hopeful about being on the same team as the blonde.
Carrie didn't want to split up Junior from his father, so she took a look at what was left.
"Miles."
Miles nodded at Carrie and turned around to pick.
"Dawn."
The moon girl seemed happy with the team she was with.
"Sam!" Dakota almost yelled. Sam happily gave her a hug.
"Um, Rock? I think?" Jacques unsurely picked the rocker. Rock seemed indifferent.
"Scarlett." Rodney chose, which did not sit well at all with the rest of the team. Scarlett showed no emotion.
"This is going great..." Gwen whispered to Zoey with a very low voice.
"Not ideal." Zoey whispered back.
"Sadie!" Katie excitedly proclaimed. The two shared a hug.
"Mickey." Jay picked his brother, to no ones surprise.
"Junior! I'm picking you kiddo!" Dwayne picked his son with no shame. Junior tried to hide his face.
"I'll take Ella, we had a fun time in Australia." Izzy nonchalantly picked. Ella did a little twirl before joining the group.
"I gladly choose Dave!" Ella, in a sing song voice, got the attention of Dave. Dave wasn't sure how to feel about Ella.
Junior analyzed who was left, before landing on Lightning.
"Sha-yeah! Right choice little man!" Lightning, ever so modest, commented.
"Pete." Mickey chose who he felt the least intimidated by. Alejandro was quickly trying to piece together some sort of strategy for this weird team he was with.
Sadie also really had no clue who to pick, so she just pointed at Jen.
"Alright guys, leave the costumes to me. It's my specialty." Jen confidently told her team.
Scarlett tactically scoured the remaining players.
"Scott."
Scott was surprised, but kept quiet what he was thinking. Gwen, Zoey, and Mike groaned.
"Spud!" Rock exclaimed.
"Um, Jo, I guess." Sam chose the jock, who was not very happy about being picked late.
"B." Dawn quickly picked. The silent man tipped his cap at his team.
B then pointed at Beardo. Beardo snapped his fingers together before joining his team.
"Yeesh, not a whole lot of options here. Give us Blaineley, I guess." Jo said, drawing a couple groans from her first generation teammates.
"You won't regret it." Blaineley confidently told Jo.
Spud signaled Chet over who gave a high five to the rockers.
"Leonard." Scott chose the so called wizard. Leonard swooshed his wand before joining the team.
"This is gonna be something." Mike whispered to Zoey. Zoey nodded.
"Tom." Jen picked out her bestie with no issues. Tom was happy to be with Jen.
"Gerry." Pete was once again didn't stray far from his tennis rival.
"Anne Maria." Lightning non caringly picked the jersey girl, who really didn't care either.
"Um, Ellody." Dave chose, not putting much thought into it.
"Mary." Ellody picked, not hesitating.
"Give me Taylor." Anne Maria semi requested, not interested in anyone else. Taylor shrugged her shoulders.
"Um, Kelly." Gerry picked a fellow adult. Kelly seemed a bit disappointed at being split up from her daughter, but nodded.
"We'll find some use for you Tammy, come over here." Tom motioned to the cosplayer who nodded. Leonard frowned at this.
"Topher." Leonard picked in slight malice after the Tammy pick.
"Lorenzo." Chet affirmed, to no ones surprise.
Just Max, Crimson, and Ennui remained.
"Max. I'll let you two chill together on team the next team." Blaineley told the Goths, who really didn't show any sort of emotional response towards this.
"And that means the teams are set! You'll now have 30 minutes, to decide what you'll be performing. There's some 'brochures' in the back listening what you can perform."
Chris and Chef were both cackling at 'brochures', which made the cast think something was up.
Confessional (Now a makeup booth for the challenge)- Scott
"When your team is filled with people who aren't fond with you, you add some cannon fodder behind you to take some of the pressure off. Simple strategy."
Confessional- Scarlett
"Part of me is wondering if I can rally up enough support behind me to get a major player eliminated tonight. Logically, there's too many moving parts to try to pull something like that off at this moment. I'm not even sure if we'll lose the challenge, even though our team lacks quite a bit of talent compared to the others."
Confessional- Blaineley
"This challenge plays into my strengths pretty well. Still though, I hope the Goths return my good gesture to them later."
Confessional- Crimson and Ennui
"What's the name of that old blonde lady again?" Asked Crimson. Ennui didn't flinch.
"I don't know." Ennui quietly replied.
Team 1: Owen, Noah, Emma, Kitty, Eva, Izzy, Ella, Dave, Mary, Ellody
Team 2: Duncan, Courtney, Bridgette, Ryan, Stephanie, Dwayne, Junior, Lightning, Anne Maria, Taylor
Team 3: Heather, Alejandro, Amy, Cody, Sierra, Jay, Mickey, Pete, Gerry, Kelly
Team 4: Cameron, Brick, Tyler, Lindsay, Beth, Katie, Sadie, Jen, Tom, Tammy
Team 5: Mike, Zoey, Gwen, Trent, Ezekiel, Rodney, Scarlett, Scott, Leonard, Topher
Team 6: Sean, Jasmine, Samey, Sky, Josee, Jacques, Rock, Spud, Chet, Lorenzo
Team 7: Geoff, Leshawna, Harold, DJ, Justin, Dakota, Sam, Jo, Blaineley, Max
Team 8: Brody, MaCarthur, Sanders, Devin, Carrie, Miles, Dawn, B, Beardo, Crimson, Ennui
"Are you serious!? It's all Dreamworks and Pixar movies!" Yelled Heather, looking at the brochures to decide what their play would be.
"How exactly do these fit the Shakespeare theme?" Asked Courtney, not content.
"It's called dumbing down things for your audience. No one wants to sit through boring classicals in this day and age. It's got to be constant action!" Chris responded. Some of the intellectuals in the cast sighed. "Besides, the casting challenges you'll face will make this worth the watch! Now get to it! You have one hour until the first performance. Owen your team is up first so you'll want to move the fastest! Have fun guys!"
Chris walked out of the room, leaving the campers dumbfounded on how exactly this was gonna play out.
"I got our play! Let's go start our casting and costume design." Noah called out to his team, snagging a brochure and pocketing it.
"Are you sure? That was quick." Questioned Ellody. Noah nodded.
"Trust me on this one. Let's move."
And so team 1 moved to their backstage set, leaving the other 71 players wondering how the nerd picked so quickly.
A couple minutes later, Courtney made her team's claim. Team 2 huddled up around her.
"Alright, I can work with this! What do you guys think?"
Team 2 overwhelming approved of the choice. Well except for Duncan.
Duncan sighed, but knew he didn't have much of say as the rest of team strongly agreed with Courtney's vision.
"Alright, let's get to it I guess." Duncan commented, already preparing for the role he knew Courtney handpicked for him. Team 2 left the room.
The teams were still casually looking, when Scott got his team's attention.
"Ooh ooh! How about this one guys? I think it fits this group perfectly!" Scott confidently passed the brochure around.
"No way, there's only two female roles in this. We can do better than this." Zoey told Scott, with Gwen agreeing.
"I think we can make do with it, what say you Rodney?" Asked Scarlett, giving rare attention to the big dorky redhead. Rodney just nodded in a sort of dopey manner.
"I also think it's a winning idea. Very deep and meaningful." Leonard chimed in.
"Word. This is right up my alley homies." Ezekiel agreed with the proposal.
"Trent? You're not with them, are you?" Asked Gwen slightly frustrated. Trent scratched his head and awkwardly smiled.
"Sounds like this is our choice then!" Topher added in, getting a thumbs up from the majority of the team. Zoey and Gwen shared a frustrated look, while Mike seemed unsure.
"Well, if that's what our team wants to do, then we got to do it." Mike finally spoke up, drawing ire from Gwen and a questioning Zoey.
Team 5 took off, leaving behind teams 3,4,6,7, and 8.
"I think this one would actually fit us pretty well, what do you guys think?" Asked Sam, showing them his idea.
"Yeah, that could work. I'm in." Justin backed up Sam.
"Wicked, let's do it!" Harold was definitely liking the proposal.
"I already know what role I'm stuck as, but sure." DJ commented. Leshawna and the rest of the team nodded their heads in approval.
"Cool, it's unanimous! Let's get rolling on this." Geoff told his team, trying to hype them up. Team 7 was now backstage.
Team 6 had picked out their movie, albeit with slight reluctance. Team 4 was in the same boat, and if anything Cameron didn't feel confident at all about his teams choice.
"Alejandro this one could work, don't you think!" Amy called out, albeit with a slight evil smirk.
Alejandro took a glance at it, and nodded in agreement.
"We'll have to have a few moving parts and pieces, but it's better than anything else here." Alejandro replied, while sliding the brochure to Heather. She wanted to object, but having looked at what was left, this was definitely the best choice.
"We have a lot of work to do if we're gonna do this. We need to get ready now!" Heather urged. Alejandro clapped his hands, which made everyone else scoot backstage, leaving just team 8 left.
"Oh I love this movie, let's do this!" Brody yelled to his team, getting them to huddle up.
"I do also, but I'm not sure if we have the cast to pull that off." Dawn spoke up, not digging the play presented.
"Nonsense, we totally got this! Don't you think so babe?" Brody asked MaCarthur, who shrugged.
"What? Oh yeah, sure. Let's go with this." The cop was paying half attention.
"See? We got the authorities behind us! We got to do this now!" Brody pleaded. Beardo gave him a thumbs up.
"Great, see you guys backstage!" Brody yelled and took off, leaving the rest of the team behind. The rest of the team glared at Beardo.
"Don't think that was the best choice, but I guess we're stuck with it now." Sanders lamented. Team 8 waddled backstage.
"And all eight teams have made their play choice! Some of you guys made some quite interesting decisions if do say so myself. Anyway, for this challenge, the teams will earn points on a scale of 1 through 20. Up to 10 points for casting, up to 10 points for performance. As a reminder, no directly copying the script from these films. You need to loosely inspired, not plagiaristic! Now that all the rules have been place, break a leg!" Announced Chris over a intercom. The teams continued to scramble backstage.
Team 1- Kung Fu Panda, Team 2- Shrek 2, Team 3- How To Train Your Dragon 2, Team 4- Ratatouille, Team 5- Madagascar, Team 6- Bee Movie Team 7- The Incredibles, Team 8- Finding Nemo
Team 1, Backstage
"So I think we're all in agreement on Owen being Po? He has substantial Jack Black energy." Noah asked his team, gaging their feedback. All nodded in agreement.
"I guess I just need a panda onesie and some makeup. Shouldn't be too hard to find either of those things here right?" Asked Owen.
"Not at all. One of our dressers is full of outfits. Start your search there." Mary informed Owen, who left after taking the directions.
"Izzy should play Tigress! My graceful kung fu skills will fit the role perfectly! Hiya yuh!" Izzy suggested, doing some high kicks. Noah disagreed.
"Izzy, I was thinking you'd make a better Viper. Your umm... stylistic snake dancing mixed with your martial arts fits that character better."
"I agree with Noah. You're more of a quick striker than continuously graceful." Eva added in, observing the redheads kicking. Izzy didn't argue and slithered away.
"Well, that leads us to our biggest problem. We only have one more female character left to cast, and there's six of us. Any idea how that is gonna work out?" Asked Emma, starting to become skeptical of Noah's production choice.
"We're going to have to gender bend a few roles, but our main casting should payoff pretty well. It's a tradeoff, but I think it'll be profitable." Noah told the group, sounding confident. The team seemed to somewhat trust his intuition, as they accepted his word without argument.
"If I can have some input, Kitty and Ella are too plush to play Tigress, while Eva's too brash, and no offense to you two, but you really don't fit the Tigress persona either." Dave told Ellody and Mary, who didn't like his opinion, but agreed.
"So that leaves me. Not totally familiar with the role, but I'll adapt." Emma spoke up, taking another peek at the brochure to read up on the character.
"You'll kill the role Emma. Just make your mean streaks about 20% less aggressive, pepper in some martial arts, and you've got the role down." Kitty told her sister, drawing a slight frown, but acceptance. A couple seconds passed, and Emma went costume searching.
"Now, this where things get interesting." Noah said as he took another look at his team, and back down at the brochure.
Team 2, Backstage
"Go get dressed Ogre. Accept who you are! In fact, embrace it tonight. Now scooch!" Courtney yelled at Duncan, clearing him out of the room. The rest of the team flinched at the CIT's aggression, but let it slide. "Bridgette you know your role as well, put on a nice dress and get ready to sing. Lightning and Junior, ditto. Go find costumes."
The only thing Courtney was missing was a clipboard. The bossy young lady was back at it again. Anne Maria and Taylor looked like they could care less.
"Ryan and Stephanie, you guys know your roles, get moving." Courtney told the duo.
"Ok, sheesh. Bossy know it all..." Stephanie muttered under her breath, as she left Courtney behind. Ryan walked off more quietly.
"We know our parts kiddo, trust us on this one. Hehe." Dwayne told Courtney, trying to avoid more verbal frontage with Courtney.
"Ok, but you're doubling up, so you need to be on point. Got it?" Courtney sharply asked the older man. Dwayne tipped his head and took off. "Alright, Taylor and Anne Maria. You guys understand your parts."
"I was made for television. The audience is gonna be all over me." Anne Maria responded, not showing any stage fright at all. Taylor was likewise.
"Could've gave me a bigger role. I can totally handle it." Taylor stuck out her fingernails sassily, not giving Courtney eye contact.
"Just don't drag the team down. We've got a winnable challenge here."
Team 3, Backstage
"Twins playing twins sounds good, but I'm not playing a guy to fulfill to role goals. Now scram! Heather yelled at Mickey and Jay, who zipped around the corner.
"Go easy on them Heather, remember how fragile they are." Alejandro reminded the queen bee, making her sigh.
"Alright, I think the rest of us fill out these roles somewhat ok. Sierra, you admittedly have the toughest job here. You gonna be able to handle this?" Heather asked. The purple haired Cody fan huffed.
"Although I'm far from my preferred role, I can manage this." Sierra glared at Amy as she finished up talking. Amy cheekily smiled back, knowing she was in a great position to fulfill her own personal goals this challenge.
Team 4
"Okay, problem number one. We have six girls but only 2 female roles. Any suggestions?" Cameron informed and asked his team.
"Leave that issue to me and Tom. Our costume designs will fit us right past that challenge." Jen told Cameron.
"Alright, I'll trust you guys on that one. I guess issue number two is rat costumes?" Cameron once again questioned.
"Me and Tom got it. You guys go practice your lines and we'll take care of the rest." Jen told the nerdy teen again.
"You heard the lady! Let's get to studying!" Brick commanded the team.
Team 5
"This is gonna be a mess?" Mike asked Zoey and Gwen.
"Yup. A big mess." Gwen told the duo.
One look around could show the team was already in chaos about the roles.
Team 6
"Well, I think we got the roles figured down. Just got to make due with what we got." Jasmine told her team.
"Is that a bee pun?" Asked Sky. Jasmine shrugged as if to say, 'I guess so'.
"I can't believe you guys are trusting me with the lead role." Shawn commented.
"Well the rest of the guys really don't fit the role any better." Jasmine gestured to the rockers and step brothers.
"What about me?" Asked Jacques.
"Accent." Sky, Josee, and Jasmine all replied, shooting down the skaters bid for the lead role.
"Hmmph! My accent does not disqualify me from the role! It enhances it!" Jacques fought back.
"It's a character that portrays Jerry Seinfeld. An accent would be a giant swing and a miss." Samey told the skater.
Jacques huffed again, but accepted the groups decision.
Team 7
"One more time DJ!" Geoff demanded, trying to hold back giggles. DJ sighed.
"C'mon Geoff! You're already stereotyping me into this role! Do I have to?" The gentle giant asked, slightly annoyed.
"Personally I just think you're cool with that line. No pun intended." Sam said and patted DJ on the back. DJ sighed and gave in.
"Honey! Where's my super-suit?"
Team 8
The team seemed a little confused, but also seemed to be somewhat piecing things together. Even Crimson was a dropping a few one word verbal responses.
B gave some hand signals to Dawn who relayed his message to the team.
"B says this is going to be extremely mid."
"Nonsense, It'll be great!" Brody replied, obviously more optimistic then others on his team.
The lights dimmed down, and the audience which was about 3,000 people deep, quieted down as the famous Chris Mclean made his way onstage under a spotlight in his suit and tie apparel from Total Drama Action. The host smiled at the crowd, before looking down at a cue card.
"Ladies and gentlemen, tonight we have some very special performances to showcase. The cast you've come to love is going to be laying it all out on this stage! They've been challenged to cast, and perform a play based on some very recent movies in less than two hours. You may think that sounds to impossible, and I certainly hope it is! The more our cast gets pushed to it's limits, the more entertaining it is! Now, without further ado, our first performance comes from team number one performing a true piece of 2008 art, Kung Fu Panda! Enjoy!"
Chris scurried off stage, as the spotlight disappeared. Some of audience was whispering to each other, as if questioning the advertising.
"I was told that a beloved reality tv cast was performing Shakespeare? What gives?" A confused spectator asked. Some others agreed with that sentiment.
None the less, the curtain opened and out came Owen in a panda outfit with some black and white makeup on. Accompanying him was Ellody, dressed as Po's dad, Mr. Ping. Some spiritual Chinese music played in the background.
"Dad, I'm not sure I can be the Dragon Warrior. Everyone I train with disapproves of me. I'm a total letdown." Owen's opening line quieted the crowd.
"Son, you've got to believe in yourself. You know how much self doubt I had to overcome to perfect my noodle recipe? I didn't become a great cook overnight." Ellody told the 'panda'. Ellody was clearly trying to make her voice more bird like and masculine.
"Interesting casting choice for Po's... dad." Chris whispered to Chef, who nodded along.
"Po, you can't give up. Now get back up those stairs and show them what you can do!" Ellody told Owen, trying to be inspirational.
"Ah yes, stairs. My biggest enemy." Owen glared over his shoulder, making the audience giggle.
The lights went on and off, as the scene transitioned to inside a green and jaded building. Noah, who was playing Master Shifu, and Kitty playing Master Oogway, were there to greet Owen.
"Po, where you have been? You missed training this afternoon." Noah observed, while walking towards Owen with a staff.
"Sorry. Food calls." Owen giggled, making some of the crowd laugh.
"You lack discipline... and a fitness routine." Noah told Owen, drawing a few laughs for his sarcastic portrayal of Master Shifu.
"Oh no." Kitty, in a weak voice, caught the attention of Noah and Owen.
"What's wrong Master Oogway?" Noah asked Kitty, who was waiving her own staff around.
"Tai Lung is on his way. There will be a great battle to ensue." Kitty told the duo.
"That's not good news." Noah responded, a bit flat with his line delivery.
"And in addition to that... my time has come." Kitty told Owen and Noah.
"What do you mean?" Asked Owen.
Out of nowhere, flowers started encircling Kitty's character. Within seconds, she had disappeared.
"Double whammy. Come on Po, let's go find the five and warn them." Noah grabbed Owen and pulled him out of the scene.
"Interesting. I like the casting so far, but Noah's sarcastic spin on Shifu is a little hit and miss. Still enjoyable though." Chris told Chef, who shrugged his shoulders, wanting to see more.
The lighting changed once again, and the music became more fast paced. The Furious Five, featuring Izzy as Viper, Emma as Tigress, Ella as Mantis, Dave as Crane, and Mary as Monkey, were staring down Tai Lung, being played by none other than Eva. Chris and Chef both raised their eyebrows at this.
"Your rampage ends here Tai Lung. You will advance no further." Emma told Eva. Eva cracked her knuckles.
"Oh really? I'd like to see you try and stop me." Eva snarled back at the five.
Ella, far too cheery for such a serious scene fluttered forward and struck a fighting pose.
"On your ready, Mr. Tai Lung." Ella almost sung to Eva. Eva growled and launched forward, quickly grabbing both Mary and Ella.
"Ugh, that's one tight grip." Mary observed, before being flung away with Ella like paper weights.
"No one throws my friends around! Face the snake, brute!" Izzy yelled, before literally slithering towards Eva.
"That's... something." Dave commented, probably breaking character.
Izzy and Eva proceeded to have an epic fight sequence. The audience was clearly on the edge of their seat. Eva was starting to give Izzy a look, as if to say that her fight scene was dragging past it's scripted point. Either way, the crowd didn't seem to mind.
Finally, Eva managed to grab Izzy and throw her into Emma like a bowling ball hitting a pin. Eva turned her attention to Dave, who nervously started to back up. Before he could run away, Eva grabbed Dave and held him up into the air with one hand.
"Go tell Master Shifu I'm on way back home. I'm ready to destroy him and this so called Dragon Warrior. Scram!" Eva yelled as she dropped Dave.
"No problem! I'll be on my way!" Dave told Eva, quickly scrambling off stage. The curtains went up again.
"That was a very good fight scene... between Eva and Izzy. Not sure the rest pulled their weight there." Chef remarked to Chris, who was taking notes.
"I kind of liked how that fight was constructed. Not bad." Chris said, continuing to skew through his notes. While he continued to right things down, the final scene started. It was just Eva and Owen, with Noah laying on the ground in fake agony behind them.
"Your reign of terror ends here Tai Lung, I won't let you hurt anyone else!" Owen yelled, positioning himself for a fight. Eva cracked her knuckles and smiled evilly.
"On you, fatso." Eva insulted Owen's character. Probably.
Owen roared with determination and charged Eva. Eva proceeded to side step Owen and sent him to the ground via a leg trip. This didn't faze Owen though, as he got right back and threw a punch with his padded paws into Eva's face.
Eva took the punch like a champ, and got punches in of her own against Owen's naturally padded stomach. Owen giggled.
"That tickles, stop that!" Owen proceeded to roll around on the ground. Eva looked at Owen confused, unsure if this was in the script or not. Either way, she knew her cue to be defeated was coming up. With no time to waste, Eva did a mock pro wrestling move with her elbow, barely missing Owen on purpose. While next to him, she winked at him. Owen not so subtly winked back at first, before making the realization.
Owen then pulled Eva up off the ground, and held her by the pinkie finger. Eva couldn't remember exactly what it was called.
"Not the... finger hold! Not that!" Eva's acting skills started to crack.
"Oh yeah, that. Will let me tell you about this big fat panda." Owen pulled Eva close to him, as if to whisper.
"I'm thee big fat panda. Ska-mooch!" Owen brought his finger down, and bright lights flashed the audience, along with a strong bass implemented to simulate a explosion.
Now the rest of the group was onstage, cheering on the big lug. Owen whooped back at them, before helping Noah back to his feet.
"Don't die on me yet, buddy!" Owen hugged Noah.
"I was resting. Big difference big guy." Noah withdrew from the hug.
The team bowed to the audience, who gave them a decent applause.
"Alright, alright! Not bad to start things off. Probably not going to be the best act of the night, but we'll see. I'll tell you guys your score once everyone else goes. Next!" Chris informed team 1, who shrugged and walked offstage.
"Ska-mooch? I'm pretty sure that's not correct bud." Noah remarked to Owen behind stage, who laughed nervously.
"Sorry, screwed that one up. I still think we did great though!" Owen cheerily responded.
"We'll see. We definitely made some mistakes here and there. Shouldn't be the most incompetent act of the night." Emma told her team, while getting out of the Tigress costume.
Kitty gave Eva fist bump for her performance. Eva appreciated the gesture. She was nervous about being on stage. She was almost never nervous.
"Well, let's see what everyone else has to offer performance wise. Might have to pull up a lawn chair for this one." Eva relaxed and loosened her stance.
"Ladies and gentleman, team 2 is next! And I've been informed that they managed to condense their performance down to one scene. Let's see how that works out for them!" Chris informed the crowd, who mumbled in response. Chris didn't even tell the spectators what was being performed.
It didn't take long for the crowd to pick up what was being put down however, as the play opened with Bridgette dressed as the Fairy Godmother, softly singing the opening words to 'holding out for a hero'.
"We are gathered here for the royal wedding of Prince Charming and Princess Fiona! It's spazzy venue filled with big name guests, such as the queen and king themselves! My oh my, just look at this red carpet! Spiffy!"
Anne Maria was playing the knockoff E! tv reporter, while the camera shifted between Fiona's parent's being played by Dwayne and Taylor, and seemingly human Fiona being played by Courtney. Oddly enough, when the camera cut over to Prince Charming, the actor playing him also appeared to be Dwayne.
"Playing two characters at one time? Interesting." Chris whispered to Chef, who seemed to be vibing out to Bridgette's singing. The crowd was definitely liking the blondes singing also.
Suddenly, the stage rotated as Bridgette's singing could be heard in the background. The audience was now exposed to Duncan and Junior piggy back riding Lightning. Duncan was dressed like human Shrek, while Junior was clearly Puss in Boots. Lightning was in Donkey's white stallion form, through the magic of props.
"The gate is closed and guarded. We need to get through!" Duncan yelled.
"Allow me!" Junior yelled, summersaulting through the air and landing on top of two dummy guards, stabbing the borderline scarecrows with his fake blade. The audience was impressed with Junior's acrobatics.
"The lever Donkey! Get me closer!" Duncan yelled to Lightning, reaching for the gate's opener.
"I have a better idea! Sha-bam!" Lightning yelled, while just plowing through the gate, taking himself and Duncan offscreen. Junior scurried off after a slight hesitation.
"Interesting technique." Chris observed.
The stage rotated back now showing Courtney about to kiss Dwayne, when Duncan came flying onto the stage, partially due to Lightning's not so smooth scene transition.
"NOOO!" Duncan yelled, causing Dwayne and Courtney to halt.
"Shrek?" Courtney second guessed, taking a step back from Dwayne. This angered Bridgette.
"How many times do I have to tell you? Ogres don't live happily ever after!"
Bridgette zapped some sort of neon charge directly at Duncan, who would've been struck had Dwayne, now back to playing the king somehow, hadn't dove directly in front of him. Like magic Dwayne disappeared through the floor. The neon charge redirected and went right back into Bridgette, who also sunk into the floor.
"Yeesh, how many trapdoors are underneath that stage?" Chris quietly asked himself.
Duncan and Courtney were now holding hands, as Taylor was caressing a prop frog that was supposed to be the king.
"If you want Fiona, we can stay this way forever." Duncan sweetly told Courtney. Courtney shook her head with a gentle smile.
"I already have my happily ever after Shrek. With you."
Courtney clearly was not comfortable with kissing Duncan, as after a second of kissing she quickly pulled away, which did not go unnoticed by the crowd.
Another bright light beamed the entire stage and spectators, as the now ogre forms of Shrek and Fiona came floating down onto the stage. Ryan and Stephanie, painted green, were actually kissing comfortably when they appeared.
"Let's go home." Stephanie told Ryan.
"I love it when you say that." Ryan told her right back.
Strangely enough, their theme that played in the background of the race was heard on stage. Some people murmured at the music choice.
The curtains closed, then opened again, with the cast waving at the viewers. The crowd gave them a nice applause.
"Well done! That's going to be tough to beat! Let's see what three team 3 has to offer!" Chris announced in excitement.
Confessional- Chris
"Due to length- uh I mean time constraints, the rest of the acts will be shown in montage form! Thank you viewers!"
The montage started with team 3's rendition of How to Train Your Dragon 2. The highlights included, Alejandro double casting as Eret and Drago, Kelly doing extremely well in the role of Valka, and Sierra playing various dragons and making dragon noises. The lowlights had to be Pete and Gerry's not so serious portrayals of Stoick and Gobber.
The most interesting moment of the performance came at the very end though. The final scene required a kiss by Cody and Amy, playing Hiccup and Astrid. Cody clearly had reservations about this, but had to stick to the script.
Amy more or less pulled Cody into a overly deep kiss that seemingly would not end. The spectators gasped at the commitment by the female 'actress'. After the kiss Cody, quickly took a bow and scurried offstage with the rest of his team. All the teams had a big screen backstage to watch the performances on, and the kiss drew a lot of attention. Samey was angry, but knew that was the luck of the draw with the script. She also knew her sister knew the script, and planned that moment just to get at her. She wasn't going let her sister toy with her emotions.
Team 4 went on with Ratatouille, and things were not nearly as smooth as the three previous performances. No one besides Cameron could get their lines remotely close to correct. Lindsay was adorable, but no where near as fierce as she needed to be to fill that role. Tom and Jen's costumes were on point, but their acting left a lot to be desired. Brick was somewhat okay, while Tyler fit Linguini's clumsiness perfectly. Katie and Sadie's roles were a bit of a stretch, and it showed.
Team 5 was funky, but that might of played into their favor. Topher and Mike were surprisingly good as Alex and Melman, while Trent and Zoey were solid as Marty and Gloria. Rodney as Mort was a very interesting casting decision, but was ironically pretty good. Leonard may have made King Julien more annoying than he was meant to be. Scott and Scarlett had decent chemistry as Skipper and Kowalski, while Gwen and Ezekiel were okay as Private and Rico.
Team 6 was probably the most professional, despite using The Bee Movie's courthouse scene as their play of reference. Jacques was pretty solid as Ken. Shawn was a bit shakey as Barry Benson, but still did what he needed to do. Jasmine was strong as Judge Bumbleton. Sky did a fairly decent job as Vanessa. Samey and Spud were okay as Barry's parents. Rock as Flayman the mosquito was a nice casting choice. Chet as Layton and Josee as Trudy were relatively forgettable.
Team 7 became a fan favorite with their take on the Incredibles. The look a like casting proved to be a difference maker. Geoff and DJ as Mr. Incredible and Frozone became fan favorites. Leshawna's offscreen portrayal of Frozone's wife was pretty funny and on point. Harold was maybe a bit too overkill to play Syndrome, but did a okay job. Sam was a bit questionable as Dash but still managed. Dakota may of been too extroverted to play Violet, but had a passable performance. Max as Jack-Jack was very fruitful. Jo as Mirage was a swing and a miss, especially with her attempts to be flirty. Blaineley was alright as Mrs. Incredible. Justin as Etna Mode had to be the weirdest casting of maybe the entire evening.
This left team 8 to go last, and their performance was quite the yawner. Devin was okay as Nemo, and Ennui was great as Gill, but beyond that there was a lot of mediocrity and lackluster acting jobs. B's non verbal edition of Bruce wasn't well received. Beardo's sound effect aided version of Marlin even drew some boo's from the audience. Macarthur was way too out of character and off script to play Nigel, while Carrie, Dawn, Miles, Sanders and Crimson were deemed to be too unenergetic.
The audience, still being polite, gave each team a standing ovation for their performances. Some players high fived each other for their strong performances, while others just hoped they didn't bomb the hardest.
"Ladies and gentleman! Thanks for witnessing our sorry players portrayals of classic animated flicks! But now comes the fun part of the night! It's time to find out how each team scored with the judges. In addition to that, you will also be giving our cast bonus points on a scale of 1 to 10. Twist!"
The audience stirred a little bit at Chris' announcement, excited to send a scoring message to each actor that performed.
"If the crowd averages out to a 6.5, that team will receive six bonus points to their score. No rounding up tonight!" Chris continued.
"Okay, now team one, please step forward." Chris commanded.
Team one, with Noah, Emma, Kitty, Owen, Eva, Dave, Mary, Izzy, and Ellody stepped forward.
"Chef and I thought your casting decisions were solid in some places while lackluster in others. Top heavy if you will." Chris told the first team.
"Okay..." Noah drawled.
"For casting you guys will receive 6 out 10 possible points. Chef?"
"As for the acting, I'll give you guys a 7, it was a decent show." Chef told the group.
The group so far was whispering in mixed tones, unsure how to feel about their score.
"Now let's see what the crowd has to say!" Chris announced, pointing to a monitor.
A 67% appeared on screen.
"That's six bonus points for team one! That means you guys and gals end up with 19 points overall. Not too shabby, not too great." Chris told the team.
"I can live with that. Higher than the real movies I was actually in." Izzy told her team. Noah and Emma didn't look thrilled by scores, but managed.
"You're excused! Team dos! You're up!" Chris called out to the second team. Said members of the team stepped forward.
"I liked these guys the most. I'm giving them a 9." Chef told the team while rubbing his chin. Junior and Lightning high fived.
"I feel the same way. A very inspiring performance with great casting. Also a nine from me. Now let's see what our audience has to say." Chris told the group who celebrated.
The scoreboard flashed a 10, bringing the total score to 28 points.
"Oh yeah! See what happens when I lead? Good things!" Courtney yelled on stage, making Duncan's eyes roll.
Chris stepped forward on to the stage with a cue card.
"Now let's make things a bit more dramatic. Me and Chef will discuss the other teams scores in private, while you in the audience will fill out the rest of your score sheet. We will then reveal how the rest of the cast did!"
There was some mixed reactions to this, but things continued on.
"Now it's time to see the results!" Chris yelled after about five minutes of standstill. The crowd and the contestants shushed to hear what he had to say.
"Coming in first, to the surprise of no one, is team 2 with a whopping 28 points! Enjoy first class privileges!"
Team 2 celebrated again. Even Taylor and Bridgette seemed at piece with each other.
"Now for all the losers! Coming in second place with 26 points, is team 7, who also got a 10 from the audience, but only a 8 from me and Chef. Tough."
Team 7 still seemed pretty optimistic with their performance. Geoff and DJ fist bumped, while even Blaineley seemed pretty pleased with the rest of her team.
"Of course, the worst actor from your team will also be up for elimination. And we've determined Justin, not to be the worst actor per say, but just the weakest link.
Justin frowned, but accepted Chris' judgement.
Confessional- Justin
"I saw that coming. No biggie. Kind of got screwed with the casting. Anyways, all this means is that I have the opportunity to vote someone else off."
"Coming in third, with 25 points, is team 3! Not bad considering you had multiple people double casted!" Chris announced. Team 3 clapped somewhat contently.
"Mickey, you're the weakest of the weakling twins! You'll be at the elimination ceremony!" Chef yelled at the twin. Jay and Mickey both sighed.
"Team 5, you're fourth with a grand total of 24 points! And I can personally say Leonard was by far the worst actor!" Chris yelled.
"I'll show you bad acting..." Leonard said under his breath.
"With 23 points, team 6. You guys are also safe." Chris told the group.
"Except for Chet! You'll be voting tonight!" Chef strongly told the other step brother. Chet's smile faded.
"Now here's where it gets good! We have a two way tie for second to last and one team in last place by one point. We already know team 1 has 19 points, are they the worst or did someone else land below them? Let's find out!"
A dramatic drum roll was heard as the camera panned around, showing multiple contestants biting their fingernails.
"Coming in last with 18 points is team 8! They'll be up for elimination!"
A bunch of gasps were let loose.
"What? No way were we the worst! That's BS!" MaCarthur yelled, frustrated.
"As for the two best actors outside the winning team, congrats to Ennui and Alejandro. Both played menacing characters very well, and will be rewarded with luxury."
Alejandro smiled in delight, while Ennui shrugged his shoulders. Heather frowned at Alejandro's first class promotion.
"One more thing. Ellody and Sadie will also be at elimination. Now the victors go the spoils!" Chris yelled, yanking on a rope in the middle room.
A bunch of confetti dumped on everyone, not just team 2 who won the challenge.
"I guess they're being generous with their reward." Chef quietly told Chris who nodded.
"Really, this is our reward? Ya really went all out for us." Anne Maria sarcastically remarked. Courtney angrily flicked confetti off herself.
"I wanted a car! Or money! I hate confetti!" Courtney yelled.
"More then green jelly?" asked Duncan, who just about earned himself a slap from Courtney. Ryan held her back.
"Positivity Courtney, we still have first class to look forward to." Ryan informed her. Courtney reclaimed some calmness from the gym instructor.
"Yeah yeah, whatever." Courtney drawled, walking away.
Team shared a bunch of stares and worried looks. The weak links from the other teams also seemed on edge. Chris smiled.
"This should be an interesting elimination..." The host couldn't help but mutter.
Up for Elimination: Brody, MaCarthur, Sanders, Devin, Carrie, Miles, B, Dawn, Beardo, Crimson, Chet, Mickey, Ellody, Sadie, Leonard, Justin
Confessional- Sanders and MaCarthur
"Without set teams, I think the smart thing to do is to try and knock out the biggest threat up for elimination. Although I'm not really sure who'd be the biggest threat down the line." Sanders stated to the camera.
"I... agree. But to be honest the talent pool for this elimination isn't very deep besides us." MaCarthur responded. Sanders shared a look of worry.
"You don't think people are coming after us do you?" Sanders questioned.
"It would be logical. To be frank, I think this will be a bum boot." The bigger cop replied before stopping to think.
"We should make sure Brody is voting with us just in case though." She continued. Sanders nodded.
Confessional- Chet
"I've got Ellody and Mickey on my side for this one. To be honest though, we're just voting for whoever has the worst hygiene on the plane. Couldn't really think of another reason to target anyone.
Elimination Room- 11:58 pm, somewhere over Idaho
"Welcome to the fourth elimination ceremony. I trust you all are uncomfortable? Haha." Chris teased the cast.
Dawn and B just shrugged. Miles frowned. Carrie and Devin held hands but didn't seem that bothered. Crimson didn't flinch. Others also shared various looks with each other.
"Let's not drag things out. The votes are in, let's find out who's taking the plunge of shame." Chris announced as he looked at the votes.
"A vote for Leonard. Not surprising." Leonard growled in response.
"Two more votes for Leonard. Uh oh." Chris evilly smirked. Leonard had resorted to teeth grinding.
"Three votes for Beardo. This seems familiar..." Chris recalled the first vote for Pahkitew Island while Beardo went into instant panic.
"Two votes for Macarthur. Could this be a 3 way race for elimination?" Macarthur's confidence dropped a bit.
"A vote for Carrie? Ok..." Chris announced and didn't seem intrigued. Carrie nervously gulped.
"Another two votes for Leonard. That brings him to 5 with just several votes remaining. Leonard was shook.
"A vote for Miles. Interesting. 4 votes left." Chris rubbed his hands together.
Beardo was beginning to relax while Leonard closed his eyes.
"Two more votes for Beardo, we're all tied up!" Chris yelled.
Beardo groaned and couldn't stand to watch. Leonard was still a wreck.
"It's not a tie, just in case you are wondering, one of you is going home." Chris told the duo.
"Ok..." Justin observed.
"And the next loser is...
BEARDO! Tough look buddy!"
Beardo fell over defeated. Leonard fist bumped and swung his staff in celebration. B had to duck to miss a rogue swing.
"You know the funny part is that neither of you voted for each other. Beardo was sent home by two groups of three and a solo, while Leonard was pushed to the wire by two duos and a solo. Interesting strategy, or lack there of? You guys tell me." Chris asked the group.
"Third person announcing spree..." Devin muttered to Carrie, who giggled.
Beardo grabbed his parachute as Chef slid the door open. Chris walked over to him.
"Any last words big guy?" Chris asked, not seeming to caring. Beardo thought for a moment before shaking his head.
"Alright then, if you will?" Chris somewhat politely gestured to the skies. Beardo nodded and jumped.
"Well that was pretty uneventful, to be honest." Chef stated looking down.
A couple seconds passed, and all of the sudden it sounded like a missile was blasting towards the ground.
"There's no way he's making Little Boy and Fat Man sound effects on the way down!" Ellody yelled flabbergasted.
"Well at least we aren't over Japan." Devin stated. The rest of the room stared at him.
"What?"
"And so after that mid episode, we begin our flight to our next destination. Where are we going? Well, that would be telling!" Chris walked around the cockpit while Chef shook his head.
"The audience deserves better." Chef muttered.
"What?" questioned Chris. Chef looked away.
"Yeah that's what I thought...
Tune in next time for another bombastic episode of... TOTAL DRAMA, THE ULTIMATE BATTLE!"
And so it returns. Really not sure about future updates, but we'll see. Chapter 7 has it's concept planned out, so just got to do the thing.
Thanks for the reading, and if you've been loyal to the story so far through these years, I salute you.
Elimination vote-
Beardo- 7 ; Sanders, Brody, MaCarthur, Chet, Ellody, Mickey, Miles
Leonard- 5 ; Crimson, Devin, Carrie, Justin, Sadie
MaCarthur- 2 ; B and Dawn

Bonus- team 2 won some confetti bags
