In the country of Haiti no longer occupied by the United States, in a building marked as a Haiti navy building on one of the docks that dotted the shores of the island nation. Two former rivals are sharing a table with each other, USS Monitor and CSS Virginia. Both American Klabautermanns had signed up to serve with Haiti along with several other ships, who didn't like how their country treated its people who aren't men or white.
Monitor is a beautiful amber haired busty woman with fair skin. The navy Union uniform she wore showed off her busty body very well.
Virginia is a beautiful dark haired busty black woman. She doesn't wear the Confederate navy uniform she wore when she was first summon anymore but wore a Haiti navy uniform.
When she and the other Confederate Klabautermanns were summon it came to a shock to the veterans of that war that all of the Confederate ships are black. Shattering the hopes of the bigots in using the Confederate Klabautermanns to help them keep whites in power. Seeing how the black Confederate Klabautermanns have no loyalty to that long dead cause to keep slaves of people who look like them. And why during the strike so many white communities were destroyed, as they reacted very violently to any attacks on the black communities, as they saw no reason why they shouldn't treat the white communities as they treat the black communities. Which is why many Union and former Confederate Klabautermanns are now serving in other countries, signing up to serve in their navies for a number of years. In Haiti there is Stevens Battery and Dunderberg both of whom are fellow Civil War warships. There are the Smith sisters of the Smith class destroyers ships, Smith, Lamson, Preston, Flusser, and Reid. The sister ships of a ship class usually stay together.
The oiler, USS Arethusa who has taken a liking to the tropical island and decided to serve. She is also very important as thanks to her only needing to eat to refill her fuel reserves, Haiti has a steady supply of fuel. She does need to eat more because of that but unlike humans she can eat anything organic. Allowing her to eat fishes that are normally toss back into the sea, like pufferfish and other poisonous fishes. Now fishermen are bringing in all of their catch and the ones not sold to the fish mongers are sold to the government who give it to the Klabautermanns.
Both Monitor and Virginia are sharing the table with Turtle the first submarine used in war and Nautilus the first practical submarine.
Turtle is a small woman with a slender figure with long brown hair, as she's a one man submarine. She's the weakest of all the Klabautermanns but for the submarines all see her as their mother or grandmother.
Nautilus like her mother, also has a slender figure and short brown hair. Both are wearing Haiti navy uniforms, both serving in the navy, mostly as administrative roles. They also go out and salvage the ocean floor for valuables, as while they're weak compared to the younger Klabautermanns they can still survive underwater and don't need to breathe.
Their latest find has paid off after finding a one of the many sunken ships.

A tarnished silver bauble in a pile of other trinkets like rings, and earrings.
A large goblet covered in what appears to be a thin veneer of gold leaf. On a tarnished silver plate. The edges are slightly discolored, eroded by the salt.
They also recovered a piece of the sunken ship the loot came from, to use to summon the Klabautermann. Haiti is currently making a deal with Russia, as they couldn't use magic to make their own Klabautermanns, they're just going to ask the Russians to do it for them. They just needed pieces of sunken ships found around the Caribbean and money to pay for it. Which is what the loot from the sunken ship is for.
With the debt Haiti had to pay to the French, left the country poor. But thanks to recent events has left France weak and their navy in ruins from the short war in Asia left their navy depleted and with the presents of Klabautermanns and American ones scared them away. The French couldn't back up the payments from Haiti with their navy, as destroying the American Klabautermanns could get the other American Klabautermanns to come to their aid, especially with Turtle being seen as the mother of all submarines, her death would just cause all the other submarine Klabautermanns to go into a rage against France. With the country's war debt, the raids from the pirate Klabautermanns, the cost of the losing the colonies in Asia, and Joan of Arc's rampage through France. The country is in too much of a mess and unable to do much, thanks to the country barely having enough to keep everything going. They are receiving aid from the United States and Klabautermanns who are helping to rebuilt the country.
"A few more good runs and we'll have enough to present to the Russians," Monitor said.
"Hopefully it be worth enough to the empress," Virginia said.
"It is gold and silver," Nautilus pointed out, as no matter what time period it is, silver and gold has value. (3)
"The Russian coins are made out of pure silver and gold coins thanks to all the silver and gold they got from the Roman Klabautermanns who were transporting money. Which is why they're showing up in the ports. Their purity gives them a high value no matter where they end up," Turtle said as like many ports as in her time coins from different countries are exchanged all the time. They do use paper money but that's for large transactions.
"There is Greece, they be able to do it," Virginia said.
"Yes but both France and England are making moves to ally with Greece. They're the only country that has a chance against Russia," Monitor said showing a picture in the newspaper of the national animal of Greece the phoenix, facing off with the Russian national animal the bear. The cartoon showing the other national animals of the nations behind the two larger animals. Showing how powerful the two countries have become compared to the other countries. Seeing how they're the only ones that can create more Klabautermanns on a massive scale.
"With how bad of a state France is now, they have to find allies wherever they can. They should had used Napolean as a Klabautermann instead of someone who was left to die," Turtle said.
"But wouldn't a man being used as a Klabautermann wouldn't work. Aren't we all women?" Nautilus asked. Causing everyone to think it over wondering if that would work.
"You know, I think it just never came up," Turtle said.

Egypt -
Girga, alternatively Digirga or Digurga is a city in the Sohag Governorate of Upper Egypt. It is located on the west bank of the Nile River. It is the metropolitan see of the Coptic Orthodox Church, and is the oldest continuously-inhabited city on the African continent. And is home to an immortal who has witnessed the centuries past by.
In a building, sit the immortal as she listens to music on a record and reads through some newspapers. She has learned to keep herself hidden and wears a burka when she's outside to hide her features. When Egypt was still a powerful kingdom she would like many wear very little, as the customs were much different back then.
She's a black haired very buxom Egyptian woman, who is a true beauty. She had served as the guard of kings and queens, did battle against ancient armies and seen empires rise and fall. Been many things, heroine, villainess, savior, witch, and much more, having taken different roles through the ages. At this point she sees morality as something utterly meaningless, having seen heroes of human legend in the flesh and they're far from the romantic figures that they are told to be.
She's the last of the Egyptian Klabautermanns, there were others but all of them have fallen ages ago for one reason or another. Never being human and having long since outlived all the humans that she actually cared about, she now sees humans as they sees a pet that they will outlive. It's sad that they die but like any other pet they can be replaced with a new one.
She has mastered everything, as she has done so many things over the centuries. Her sword skills combine with her Klabautermann super strength would in a future world only be seen in anime, along with her unarmed combat skills. She's the only true mistress of magic as she has centuries to refine her skills and learn to use magic in ways that no human could. She's a brilliant tactical genius, as she has witnessed many battles.
With magic returning and other Klabautermanns running around the world again, she sees another age of magic and wonder is upon the world. Creatures out of myth and legends are appearing again, with the humans now aware what to look for again. She's been thinking of revealing herself and joining one of the countries that have the most Klabautermanns.

Author's Notes -
1 - The American Klabautermanns have no loyalties to any group that see and treats their sister ships as lesser beings for not being white and not being a man.
2 - With Turtle being the first working submarine built for war, all the other war subs see her as their mother or grandmother. Meaning while she's the weakest of the Klabautermanns, she has her daughters and granddaughters who will come to her aid.
3 - Even in a setting where gold and silver are worthless as money, gold and silver would still have value in electronics.
