Misty Rickaby is the daughter of Rocky Rickaby and Marley Dash.

Appearance:

Misty bears a striking resemblance to her father, having grey and beige fur and bright blue eyes. She normally wears a white shirt with blue pants, and black boots and an orange bandana around her neck. She may also wear a light blue jacket.

Childhood:

Misty was born December 25, 1929. As a baby, Rocky had the strongest connection with Misty, often getting up in the middle of the night just to see his infant daughter. Misty and her family lived in Rocky's car before being offered to stay in the cellar of the McMurray home. Like her father, Misty exhibited the same behavior her father had when he was younger. Misty started school when she was 6. For the first few weeks, she was normal and enjoyed learning. However, Misty's destructive side took over.

She began gluing pancakes to the walls of her classroom, bringing dead insects to class to show her classmates and teacher, and even hugging classmates, all of which she said was for scientific analysis. One day, Misty sees her brother, Ace fighting with a bully. Angered, Misty smashes a beehive she found on a nearby tree on his head. Misty is expelled from the school, despite both Rocky and Marley defending her by saying she saved her brother. Before the adults could turn to Misty for her own statements, the young girl runs out of the school in tears.

Misty refused to leave her room for a week after her expulsion, eating and drinking very little. Worried for their daughter's health, they turn to their friends for help. They tell them about what happened to Misty at school, which disgusts everyone. Jenni and Mordecai offer to school Misty themselves, receiving heavy pushback from Rocky, knowing Mordecai's nature and worried of what he would do to his beloved daughter. After some reassurance, Rocky agrees to let the Hellers school Misty.

Misty develops a close bond with Mordecai and his own daughter, Serenity, enjoying going to the library with them and reading books of all sorts. Misty's destructive side occasionally took over but she preferred doing her "experiments" outdoors. Still worried for Misty's safety around Mordecai, Rocky becomes more involved in Misty's time around him, annoying the latter. By the time she was a teenager, Misty could do college level mathematics and reading skills.

Time at Lackadaisy:

When she turned 15, Misty is allowed to work as a waitress at Lackadaisy. Misty takes a disliking toward the smell of the booze, leading Mitzi and Zib to put her with the band. At first, Misty was terrified of singing on stage but gained courage when her friends offered to perform with her. Misty grows to become an impressive singer and poet writer.

Personality:

Like her father, Misty is jaunty, humorous, happy-go-lucky, immature, reckless, buffoonish, grandiloquent and zany. Misty is also shown to be wild and mischievous. However, Misty is a good-natured individual and has a very strict environmental policy as shown getting angry whenever someone litters. Misty also loves trees and animals as she convinces her great aunt Nina to grow a garden so she could study animals that pollinate flowers. Misty also appears to like orderliness and hates being messy and always looks her best (A possible result of being tutored by Mordecai).

Misty never complains and loves all of her family and friends. She loves her cousin, Freddie the most, singing songs to him when he has a nightmare and building him a "Wishing machine" for his birthday using recycled materials. Misty also has a close friendship with Serenity and Justin. Misty loves wearing extravagant clothes and dresses. Misty tends to ignore the physical appearances of other people, showing no fear in approaching or talking to Viktor or Mordecai. Misty appears to share the same dislike for Wick due to him blowing up holes in the Earth to build quarries.

Misty is also very creative as shown building a "Wishing Machine" for Freddie's birthday. She is also altruistic and is shown to be a good Samaritan as shown spending her entire allowance money on big fancy, fluffy coats to give to the homeless people living outside of the Marabel Hotel. Misty hates bullies and injustice as shown shoving a hornets' nest on the head of a bully who was attacking her brother, resulting in her expulsion from school. Misty loves learning and is depressed when she is expelled from school. She is drawn to Mordecai and Jenni due to their advanced knowledge, to Rocky's worry and dismay, knowing the former's demeanor.

Abilities:

Misty is highly skilled in mathematics and literature. She isn't good with many weapons but is an excellent in hand-to-hand combat due to training with Jenni in martial arts. She's also a good performer and has no problem performing in front of large crowds as long as someone is with her.

Trivia:

Misty's full name is Michelle Sophia Rickaby, getting her middle name from her paternal grandmother.

Misty states her real name, Michelle comes from her maternal grandmother, Michelle Dash.

Like her parents, Misty prefers to be called by her nickname "Misty" rather than her real name "Michelle".

Misty's orange bandana around her neck is meant to symbolize her strong relationship with her father, him having an orange tie. Misty's bandana has an M written on it as Rocky has an R on his tie.

Misty is shown to be ambidextrous.

She is a strong believer in mythical creatures, her favorite being Fenrir, or as she calls him the "Chain Breaker".

Misty's favorite drink is Choclate milk, something she gets from Freckle.

Her favorite food are grapes.

Her favorite color is blue.
