Patrick is a somewhat arrogant and snide boy who doesn't seem to care for anyone other than himself, taking pride in his appearance. However, he confesses his arrogance is mistaken for being overly caring for his own health and self image so he can make new friends. He fears no one likes him and only wants friends.
