A/N: Get ready for the full roster, and the appearance of the first valkyrie sister!

Horus is in shock as he inspects himself. His chest has been struck, and now golden ichor drips from his cuts. The gods are now worried that the mortal may kill one of their own.

"What the hell is happening?!" Anubis exclaims in shock. "How was Horus injured by this. This. Human?!" Meanwhile, Ihy still cannot believe what he was seeing. He knew that his father was not a perfect man, but to see him hurt a man cost him to think differently of the circumstances.

Meanwhile, Horus can only scowl, as William smiles menacingly, as if to tell the falcon king to fight more.

"You insolent human!" Horus rages. "I try to solve this peacefully, yet you insist on acting like a savage and fight. If that is what you wish, then I will have to force you to give up!"

"This is ridiculous! I cannot believe that I succeeded this man!" Says a man with neat, shoulder-length brown hair and facial hair, also wearing a similar outfit to William, but minus the tartan, and his tunic a deep blue.

King of Scotland

Robert the Bruce (Scotland)

"But he is fighting for us!" Andrew tries to counter. "So lay of why don't ya!"

"As perfect as he is, he still hasn't learned a thing, even in death!" Robert sneers.

"Quiet all of you!" Proclaims a man who looks similar to Wallace, but the difference being was that he was balding slightly.

William Wallace's Father

Allan Wallace (Scotland)

"What was in the past is in the past. What matters now is that he is fighting for humanity's survival. While I disagree with a lot of his words, we must support our comrade to the end."

Allan's words silence the two, as the two return to watching the battle. Still however, despite the battle continuing on, Allan could not help but think

'My son, if only I had been with you longer, then perhaps a better pathway could've opened for you.'

History tells us all that it could of William Wallace, a man whose life is shrouded in mystery. Just who is William Wallace really, and how did he rise the ranks?

Elderslie, Scotland

William Wallace (12 Years Old)

"Look here son." Allan points out, as he and his son stand on a hill overlooking the entirety. "What do you see?"

"It is our home father," A young William answers.

"Correct." Alan nods. "Do you know what else I see?"

"What is it?"

"I also see your future." Alan responds. "Because one day William, you will rule this land yourself, and how you see it fit."

"Really?" William hesitates. "Do you really think that I am up to it?"

"I don't think son, I know so." Allan reassures, shuffling his son's hair. "When the time comes, you will be a great man, and your story will be talked about for years to come."

Within a year's time, the land that William Wallace would call home would soon be razed to the ground, killing everyone present, that is, except a young man named William Wallace. From this experience, William swore to free his lands from the English rule.

Eventually,

Lanark, Scotland. 1296

"Wha more do you have to take from us?" Asked the townsmen, as they witnessed their own kind being killed by a group.

"We are here to take back what is ours!" A Scotsman yelled, before sinking a sword deep into the man's chest, before his life slowly faded.

"Now my men!" Shouted a commander. "Raze this town to the ground!"

The men let out a war cry, before carrying on with the task.

Elsewhere however, one of their own had made off with the enemy.

"William my love, we cannot continue this much longer." came the voice of a young maiden, with brown hair, wearing a silky white dress.

Marion Cornelia Braidfute (United Kingdom)

"Nonsense my love." William countered. "You must hide here for the time being. We only kill those who have wronged Scotland from its rightful freedom. I assure you that you will be safe from harm."

"Be that so, even if you and your men do as what you say, you will not be welcome here any longer." Marion reminded. "If they recognize you, then they will kill you."

"Then I will come in disguise." William decided. "If I come in disguise, then I can visit you without detection. Very soon, you and I will soon be joined in marriage."

"And I look forward to it," Marion and William exchange smiles, before William heads of once more with his Scottish warriors.

Within a few months, William continues to visit Marion in secret as he had promised her. Eventually, the sacrament of marriage would unify the two lovers together, and Marion would eventually be blessed with bearing the future heir to the Wallace legacy.

However, just one year later, tragedy struck the two lovers.

May 1297

"William Wallace!" Came the voice of an armor-clad man. "The fact that you dare hide, and kill 50 of my men is most despicable!"

Sheriff of Lanark

William Heselrig (England)

Within William's arms is Marion, hands tied behind her back, and feet bound, as William's arm held tightly around her mouth.

"If you wish to run, then so be it, but your lady pays the price!" William finishes, before plunging his sword deep into Marion's chest. As Marion falls to the ground, William swipes a torch from one of his men, before tossing it, catching every furniture on fire, before leaving.

When William and his men returned, grief struck the man as in the place of his wife's home was nothing but black soot. Not even a bone remained. Stricken with both anger and revenge, William and his men march to Heselrig's hometown at the dead of night.

Because no invasion was suspected, security was a minimum. With two separate groups, one group set the house of Robert Thorn aflame, with the man burning within his home. As for Heselrig, he was founded by William, who quickly ended his life with one strike to his collarbone.

"An eye for an eye ya bloody bastard." William says, as he removes his sword from Heselrig's chest.

William then looks to the sky, as the moon shines bright. "Marion. Wherever you, and our daughter are, may you rest well." A single teardrop falls from his eye, as his body is bathed in the moonlight.

When the did was done, William and his men fought the remaining British, killing 240 of them, while sparing all of the priests and women.

This event would later be known as the Action of Lanark.

September 11, 1297

Another one of William Wallace's achievements was the Battle of Stirling Bridge, occurring on September 11, 1297.

"Men, gather at the bridge, but do not cross it. We hold our position there." William commanded.

"But William," Andrew begins. "Is that really a good call?"

"Because of the bridge's size, we can limit the number of British approaching." William replies. "It'll be easy pickings for us."

"Then I trust you, my friend." Andrew pats his friend on the shoulder. "Lead on!"

As William relays his plan to the rest of the soldiers, the plan is set into motion. To everyone's shock, the plan works. With British soldiers being forced to come little by little, the Scottish army is able to pick them off, slowly but surely.

Eventually, victory is achieved, but with a price.

"William my friend," Andrew huffs, as he clutches his bleeding chest. "I don't think that I am long for this world. My wounds are far too great."

William helps his friend, as he and the rest of the Scottish army rest up. "Andrew, do not push yourself, and rest as much as you need. whatever your fate be, know that as a soldier, you will live on. I will make sure of that."

Andrew smiles, as he continues to receive aid.

However, although Andrew manages to recover from the battle, eventually however, on November 1297, Andrew de Moray succumbed to his wounds, and passed away.

"Here lies Andrew Moray," William begins. "A proud Scottish warrior who fought alongside us to free Scotland. Not only was he a warrior, he was also a leader, and a friend. May he rest in peace."

Later

"As by the decree of Scotland," began a Scottish noble. "I hereby preset to you Sir William Wallace: Guardian of the Kingdom of Scotland and commander of its army."

Despite being proclaimed as a Guardian of Scotland, The Battle of Falkirk of 1298 was proven to be the beginning of the downfall of William Wallace, leading him to escape, while the rest of his army died.

After such a defeat, William resigned his title to Robert the Bruce.

In 1305, Wallace was captured, and charged for treason against King Edward I.

August 23, 1305

"So, we finally capture Scotland's mightiest hero." King Edward I sneers, as he look unto William before him. "As much as I would love to see you dead, I am at least generous enough to offer you some final words. Choose wisely, because I might even spare you if you're lucky."

"Even if I die today or tomorrow," William began. "I will still remain loyal to Scotland, and never ally myself to the likes of you!" William affirms this by spitting, his spit reaching Edward's face.

"Someday, Scotland will learn freedom!" William finishes with a mighty roar.

From there, William was sentenced to death. He was hanged, then quartered in a brutal manner. His body was displayed throughout Great Britain, and his head was spiked on London Bridge.

The Present Day

Horus and William clash with their weapons, causing an impact to form around them.

"Is this truly the power of a king? I am disappointed!" William snarls.

"I cannot stand people like you!" Horus spouts back, annoyed at this so called 'Proclaimed Hero's remarks against him. "You call yourself a warrior of the people, yet you cannot put humanity before yourself."

Meanwhile, in the VIP section reserved for the chief gods, Zeus strokes his beard, as he comments "How peculiar…"

Standing next to Zeus was a god in a neat, black suit, and neatly combed black hair with a peculiar set of red tattoos near his eyes, and white gloves.

Messenger of the Gods

Hermes (Greece)

"Is there something troubling you there, my Lord Zeus."

Zeus does not respond. When he does not, repeated what he asked to Zeus, this time in a much louder voice. "Lord Zeus! Pardon me, but is there something concerning you right now?"

"No," Zeus grunts. "However, the more that I think about it, the more illogical it should be…"

"Is it because you are questioning how a mortal human is able to hold their own against a god?!" Hermes yells again.

"Hermes you idiotic nincompoop!" Zeus snaps in rage. "Will you pipe down! Just because I am old, it does not mean that I have lost my hearing!"

Within the second, Zeus calms himself once more. "If you really must know, then something did indeed catch my curiosity. Horus' spear is a weapon forged from the divine metals of the heavens. Therefore, any earth-made weapons should've shattered upon impact. It should not have been possible unless…"

Zeus then turns his attention to where the two Valkyries were. While Goll is in her typical scared position, Brunhilde lets out a sinister smirk, as if to confirm Zeus's suspicion.

"Oh, you are a clever one Brunhilde…" Zeus chuckles.

Goll notices Zeus, and worriedly, she turns to her sister. "Um big sis, why is Zeus looking over to us?"

"It would seem that he finally noticed out plan." Brunhilde calmly states.

The Day Before Ragnarok

"Relax Goll," Brunhilde states. "I have already decided on humanity's vanguard."

"No way!" Goll states. "This guy is way too dangerous! He not only took so many lives, but was even killed in a brutal manner!"

A brief pause to catch her breath.

"Besides, even if he is one of the strongest, what chance does he even have when put in a duel with the gods?"

"Obviously, he's got no chance." Brunhilde simply states.

"WHAT?!" Goll shrieks. "What do you mean he has no chance?!"

"It's simple really." Brunhilde begins. "The gods' greatest advantage is their divine weapons. Because these weapons come from heaven, then the earthly weapons by default are utterly worthless. By comparison, any human-made weapons are nothing but simple toys to the face of the gods. They'd be destroyed in mere seconds."

"Then what about Hephaestus?!" Goll tries. "Maybe he can make some weapons for them."

"I'm afraid not. The gods got to him first." Brunhilde states. "He will be helping them enchant their weapons further for Ragnarok."

"Then what about the Dwarves, the Cyclopes, or even the Telchines? Surely, they can help us?"

"I'm afraid not." Brunhilde huffs. "The moment Ragnarok was announced, all of them swore to neutrality. They will be supporting no one in the tournament."

"Then… that means…"

.

.

.

.

.

.

"WE'RE DOOOMED!" Goll collapses to the ground, as tears stream out.

Brunhilde too gets on her knees. "And you are correct! We ARE absolutely doomed. So let me ask you this: What if humans did have divine weapons?"

"Huh?"

"That is correct. Since only a divine weapon can face another divine weapon, then I say we them a taste of their own medicine."

Then, without a moment's notice, teal-green swirls of light engulf the room, catching Goll's attention. The lights then join together, before forming a portal that opens, revealing eleven women Infront of a glass-stained structure.

"Sister Brunhilde," they all began in unison. "We, the 11 Valkyrie sisters have gathered, and answered your call. What do you need of us."

Goll was in awe. "Our sisters! This is the first time that we have all been gathered here after a very long time."

"Greetings to you well sisters." Brunhilde sternly begins. "As you know, we will aid the humans against the gods in Ragnarok. Therefore, I ask Kara to come forth."

"Indeed, dear sister," a young voice answers, before descending from the portal, before it disappears.

The Valkyrie is a slender, youthful young woman with short orange hair wearing a puff-sleeved, long sleeved white blouse and black fingerless gloves, with a dark-blue skirt with a tail, along with white tights, and silver ankle-length boots.

The Eighth Valkyrie Sister

Kara

Goll quickly rushed up to Kara, whom she greets with a smile.

"Sister Kara! It's so good to see you again!"

"Little Sis!" Kara enthusiastically greets, pulling her into a hug. "It's so good to see you again. And to you as well, Big Sis Brunhilde."

"Yes, hello to you Kara." Brunhilde simply greets. "I believe you know why we're here."

"Indeed I do." Kara smiles, as she still continues to hold onto Goll. "Now then, who shall I e bonding with for the fight."

"This one. William Wallace." Brunhilde answers. "And it looks like that he will be fighting Horus."

"Aw," Kara frowns. "I like Horus. He's such a great guy." But deep down, she knows what must be done.

"But, how is Kara and every one of us going to help?" Goll questions.

"You will see soon enough." Brunhilde says. "Now Kara, pledge yourself!"

Present Day

As Horus and William continues to strike one another, Everyone in the arena notices that William's sword begins to glow.

"W-What's this?!" Heimdall comments. "Folks, while I don't claim to have the best eyesight around, but it seems that William's sword is starting to emit a bright light!"

"What on earth is that weapon?" Hermes questions.

Zeus nods. "As I have expected."

"What is this sorcery?" The Dagda questions.

"This has to be the Valkyrie's doing, isn't it?" Bathala starts.

"Brunhilde, this better be worth it…" Santa Muerte starts grimly.

'That is correct, o might gods!' Brunhilde proudly thinks. 'Witness the secret power that we, the Valkyries possess. A cheat for a cheat!'

Within the body of a valkyrie, there exists a power that is only achieved when a bond with their wielder is forged. With this power, man is able to obtain their own Divine Weapon.

This power is called…

VOLUND!

Horus and William continue to counter each other's assaults in the battle, but William's sword quickly morphs into a battle axe during the fight, and slash the falcon's left shoulder.

When a weapon becomes a Divine Weapon, then that weapon will take on the traits of the valkyrie that possesses it. In this case, the 8th Valkyrie's name is Kara. Her name means: "The Wild Stormy One."

LANCEBREAKER!

With a swing, the axe causes wave to blast, shattering parts of the spear's point.

"The Weapon shattered?!"

"That is right." Brunhilde smirks. "Now the fun really begins."

As the attack subsides, Horus couldn't help but notice the form that takes place ever so often. "Kara?"

"My, that was so much fun!" Kara cries in glee. "Though it does pain me to do it to Horus, but what must be done be done."

"Enough distractions!" William scolds. "You get distracted, we don't stand a chance of survival."

William then continues to attack, all the while, Hermes finally realizes what was going on.

"So, that is what she plans after all."

"So you finally notice, eh Hermes?" Zeus says.

Hermes conjures a female doll, before explaining. "As everyone knows, the sworn duty of the Valkyries is to gather an army for the gods in defense, in the case of an invasion."

Hermes then begins to twist the doll into a crude dagger as he continues.

"However the truth is that, It also includes that the warriors summoned bond with the valkyrie, allowing the valkyrie to transform herself into weapons befitting to the wielder. In exchange for the power to kill a god, the champion must give their life, hence the exchange known as Volund. Therefore, the souls gathered by the valkyrie are granted the power to fight the gods, providing the very essence of Ragnarok."

"Yess…" Zeus finally starts. "Those pissy little girls, against us might gods… IS A REBELLION! But, to believe that those Valkyries would actually have turned their blades to us… it's just that... it's…"

Without warning, Zeus finally chimes up in excitement. "One of the greatest thrills that I have had ever seen, ever since the Big Bang! This is absolutely amazing!"

Zeus then turns his attention to the tow Valkyries, as his mouth salivates in excitement.

'Quit staring over here, you creepy, motherfucking, old bastard.' Brunhilde thinks, remaining stoic, while Goll cowers behind the skirt of Brunhilde's dress.

Suddenly, to the surprise of many, Horus suddenly grasps William's axe, much to the shock pf many, including Wallace, who is baffled at his opponent's choice.

"You… are indeed… reckless..." William huffs.

Without being given more time to finish his comment, Horus drops his spear, before using the force of his palm to slam William away. William is forced to plant his boots to the ground to retain his balance.

Everyone remains silent, for they sense something was to come.

Horus keeps focus on William Wallace before he yells out. "Damn it William! Can't you see that I am trying to help you! The fate of humanity hands in the balance, and I want to prevent it! Every man, woman, and child is scared for their lives, and you don't even give a damn! I didn't want to be here, and I thought I could help change your mind."

Horus takes some concentrated breaths to calm himself down.

"Look around you William! Every human here is convinced that all of the gods hate them, and wish for their deaths. I protected the humans all my life, and here I am, forced to fight against them. I hate this! Please, I beg of you. End this madness."

Every human in the arena were touched by Horus, each of them knowing that what Horus said was genuine, and from the heart. Goll could only look on, knowing the pain that Horus was feeling.

William however, still remained unfazed. "You think it's that easy? I lost everything and everyone important to me. How am I supposed to understand. I don't want to be saved. Don't just finish me. End this properly."

Horus could only snarl, knowing how pointless it truly was. Horus then crosses his arms infront of his face, as glowing energy surrounds him.

"Oh, that human should've just agreed when he had the chance…" Anubis gasped, realizing what was about to happen.

'No.' Isis gasps in horror. 'He's not doing what I think he's about to do,'

As Horus channels more of his energy, Horus could only speak in regret. "Goll, Brunhilde, Eros, Ihy, Santa Muerte, Mother… Forgive me."

Horus then lets out a massive cry, as his new form takes place.

In Horus' place, his falcon headdress had fully overtaken his face, golden brown feathers surround his entire upper body, as his nails and feet grow into talons, while mighty, brown, wings sprout from his back.

"Transformation: Falcon's Cry."

A massive flow of energy washed into the arena. The audience watch in awe as Horus' new form takes his place.

"I didn't want it to resort to this, but you forced me!"

"Incredible everyone!" Heimdall comments on the change of events. "After trying to appeal to William Wallace, the entire thing has forced the falcon king to get serious. Folks, this is anyone's battle now!"

Back to the Valkyries, Goll is in a state of shock and concern, but she suddenly hears the notification of Brunhilde's phone, which her older sister quickly checks out.

"Hey! Get your phone out of here. It's not allowed in the arena."

Brunhilde ignores her, as she checks her phone, only to be met with utter shock.

"Uh… Big sis…" Goll suddenly shudders.

"It is here." Brunhilde smirks.

"Wha- What do you mean."

Brunhilde shows her phone's screen to Goll, to which Goll responds with "The final 26 names that is to decide everything. The countdown to that decides the fate of humanity. To all of humanity, these are… THE FINAL 13!"

Brunhilde smirks. "Final? Nay Goll!" Brunhilde then smiles proudly as she looks to the skies, arms outstretched, proclaiming "One day, these heroes will be remembered as the 13 god slayers!"

"THE EINHERJAR!"

A/N: And there it is folks! The final roster, and the first valkyrie revealed!

Spoilers for future chapters, any chapter involving a human's history will take longer to write due to the accuracy. I know the original manga takes some creative liberties, but I am not like that (Makes you wonder why I'm even doing this in the first place) to some degree.

Also, the valkyrie order will change as well, so expect some that survive in the manga to die in this story, and vice-versa. It is how it is.

Anyways, until the next chapter, BYE!
