A/N: How's it going everybody!

Time to conclude the first round.

As Brunhilde announces the name of the Einherjar, Goll can only gasp over the chosen 13.

"The great heroes of humanity, The Legendary Einherjar!"

Meanwhile, Hermes hears of the roster's notification, and takes out his phone.

"Lord Zeus," He begins. "The combatants to represent mankind has been revealed."

"Is that so?" Zeus starts, adjusting himself slightly, before asking. "Let me have a look there."

Obeying Zeus's order, Hermes does as he is told, and upon seeing the roster, the supreme god can only mischievously smile.

"So, this is the line-up? Oh, I can hardly wait to see how this one will go!"

Meanwhile, in the gods' viewpoint, every other god received the notification, with Xolotl seeing his name in the gods' roster.

"Hell yeah baby!" Xolotl howls in excitement. "I cannot wait to show these humans the power of a god!"

As Xolotl celebrates, Santa Muerte couldn't help but shake her head in annoyance.

"Ay, you loco idiota…" Santa Muerte sighs, as she takes a puff from her cigarette.

"If only he had the same feeling as my son…" Isis sighs in response, catching Santa Muerte's attention.

"You truly believe so?" Santa Muerte raises a brow.

"I do." Isis shakes her head. "While Horus is nowhere near a perfect god, and has had his own fair share of faults, all in all, he is a just one. Despite my insistence, Set would not take him off."

Isis then takes a seat near Santa Muerte.

"I am conflicted." She admits. "I don't want him to be the cause of humanity's extinction, yet at the same time, I do not wish for his death as well."

All Santa Muerte could do was comfort her.

Back in the arena, Heimdall continues to commentate on the match.

"All right folks," Heimdall starts. "The first battle of Ragnarok featuring Horus and William Wallace is becoming more intense, with Horus finally getting serious. Folks, I feel that we might be approaching the conclusion!"

"Wait, that was him getting serious? Then what the hell was all of that before?"

"Wasn't he already a pretty, damn, strong god to begin with?"

"So you're telling me that Horus is getting serious now?" Bathala states. "First time for everything I suppose."

William snarls at William's new form, and speaks to Kara.

"Kara, what is the meaning of this? What the hell did he just do?!"

Kara starts to explain. "Horus has transformed."

"I can see that. What does it mean?"

"It means that Horus' battle prowess has increased drastically. He is also much faster than now. Blink, and you might never open your eyes ever again."

"Just because someone's faster, doesn't mean they cannot fall." William smirks, before roaring out "Especially against my blade!"

Horus charges forwards at blinding speed, talons thrusted forward, while Kara transforms into a spiked targe. Despite taking the blunt of the damage, Horus' talons is still able to pierce through, penetrating William's arm, leaving deep cuts, filleting bits of his skin in the pieces.

"Graagh!" William yells in pain, as his arms bleed out.

"By the gods!" Heimdall gasps. "Horus has managed to leave deep cuts into William's arm, and he is now bleeding profusely!"

Horus then flies high into the sky, before diving down. Kara then transforms into a longbow, William aiming a barrage of light arrow at the god. Though Horus is struck with a few of them, this was not enough to even flinch him, before-

SLASH!

With a quick strike, Horus manages to skewer the entirety of William's left arm

"My goodness!" Heimdall calls out. "From high in the sky, Horus has managed to slice of the entirety of William's left arm!"

Andrew, Robert, Allan, and Goll were left speechless, as they could not believe what they had just witnessed.

As humanity is about to sink in despair, William gathers all of his strength to lift up the weapon, as Kara transforms into a distinctive sword.

CLAYMORE

"Is that?"

"No way!"

"But how?"

"Whoa! William's sword has transformed into the weapon only thought to believe, but never proven to have existed, the Claymore! And despite losing his arm, this does not deter him!" Heimdall begins, awestruck at the human's strength.

Horus dodges the attack that William does, as he swings the sword around. Though he obviously struggles with lifting and swinging the weapon, this does not deter William and starts to attack once more, but is quickly blocked by Horus' talons, before Horus swipes them at William, with each strike chipping away at William's uniform.

After an exchange of attacks, William's tartan, and chainmail are torn and broken off, revealing deep gashes, with blood dripping from each one. William struggles to remain standing, before collapsing to one knee.

All of humanity gasp in horror at the state of their champion, with one of them being Marion herself, in a flowing white dress, herself pleading out in despair.

"P-Please! No more! Stop this madness, all of you, I beg you!"

Meanwhile, back in the god's section, the gods strike up conversations with one another.

"I must say," Amaterasu begins. "Horus truly knows how to be ruthless when he needs to be."

The Dagda snorts. "Indeed, he is. Set really knows how to pick them, doesn't he."

"If this weren't to the death, I'd have them fight forever!" Bathala laughs.

Back in the arena, Horus speaks to his opponent.

"I see now why you refuse to give up." Horus begins. "This was meant to fight for everything that you have ever fought fo-"

"Bah! Save it." William spits blood to the ground. "While Scotland obtained its freedom, it was not because of me. Just end it!"

Horus sighs. As much as he wanted to speak, he knew William would refuse to listen either way, so he slowly prepares his talons to strike.

As he anticipates the killing blow, William could only think to himself. 'Though the world tells me that I played a vital role in freeing Scotland, I still failed to save everyone I held near in dear…'

However, a loud shout echoed. It was the voice of Leonidas.

"Hey, William!"

Both Horus and William snap out of their respective action, and see the Spartan King, standing strong, his face stern.

"What the hell is this nonsense? While you did not ultimately free your lands, it is because of YOU that they managed to succeed. You inspired the people, and gave them the courage that they needed. Now get off of your ass, and finish this, DAMN IT!"

Despite not even knowing William on a personal level, everyone could feel that Leonidas spoke the truth, prompting another figure to stand up. It was Robert.

"William! I never met you personally," Robert declares. "But if there is one person out there who wants to test you for what you're worth, it's going to be me, so get up and kill that asshole!"

Andrew was next "William, we fought on the battlefield. You are one of the very few whom I could truly call a brother, now get up, I beg you!"

"You're my son damn it!" Allan bellowed. "Now get on your feet."

Soon, the rest of humanity began to join in, and rally for William Wallace.

"They speak the truth! Come on!"

"William, you helped put Scotland on the map!"

"Go William!"

And soon, the crowd echoes out William's name, much to the chagrin of the gods.

"Pathetic honestly. They truly want to die, don't they?"

"Try all they might, Horus is still going to end up on top."

Finally, William struggles to stand, as humanity continues to cheer. As he continues to stand, a voice continues to cheer encouragement to him.

"Come on William, I know you can do this!" Kara cheers.

Finally, William bellows a loud battle cry, before he finally gets back up on his feet, much to the roaring delight of the crowd

"William is still in this fight! I repeat! William is still in this fight!" Heimdall exclaims.

'Yes!" Goll enthusiastically yells, as Brunhilde smiles, believing that there was still a chance.

William huffs heavily, before turning to his sword. "Forgive me Kara. If I wasn't so reckless, we wouldn't be in this spot. For that, I apologize, and I ask if you will still stand by until the very end."

Kara laughs. "Teehee! Of course I will silly! I joined with you, didn't I? There's no turning back anymore."

William smiles, before turning to Horus. "You there, Horus. I know it is too late, but are you still willing to show me the true strength of the Falcon King?"

Horus smiles. William is a stubborn one, but that is what he loves about humanity. "If that is your wish, but be warned that this attack will be a strong one."

As he speaks, Horus wings spread out once more, this time, energy from his eye begins to gather. "By the blood left by Set, I summon thee!"

By command, the energy forms into the Eye of Horus, and from its pupil, two forms began to emerge, before a pair beast emerges. One, that is of unknown origin. The other, a majestic Falcon. The beasts standby Horus, awaiting his command.

Beastial Protection

"By Set," Anubis jaw drops. "The Eye of Horus is only meant for protection. What the hell is he trying to do?"

William looks on at what was about to happen, and merely smirks.

"Damn it. Now I really wish that I had both my arms, then I could use my move properly. But I will just have to make do."

After speaking, William readies Claymore, and gets into a specific position.

Andrew gasps. He could recognize this move anywhere. "Legs parted? Sword upward by his head? Legs ready to charge? By the gods! He's going to use the same move that he used at the battle."

In a battle lost to time, William was surrounded by foes, as his army fought everyone else. With everyone busy with the battle, William was on his own. As each warrior moved closer, all hope would seem lost to William That was until, William gathered all of his strength, and attacked, seemingly striking everyone around him, before all of his attackers fell at once. Witnessing such a feat, Andrew De Moray would name this move in honor of his friend's fighting spirit.

Astral Grounder

For a moment, it would feel as though time stood still. Both gods and humanity alike would hold their breath, in anticipation for the finale. All the while, both Isis and Marion look on intently, in the hopes that their loved one would be okay.

Finally, William and Horus charge each other at blinding speed. While Horus soars through the battlefield, his animal companions beside him in light, William runs with bolting speed, as Claymore begins gathering energy

Horus and William Wallace

Two Warriors who each fought for what they believed in.

The day that they both meet, one will live. The other, will die.

"Beastial Protection"

Vs

"Astral Grounder"

As the two get closer to one another, William could finally breath well, both his mind and heart at ease.

"This feels so nice. I truly feel accomplished. Horus, I thank you."

Explosive energy fills up, and erupts as the attacks meet, as the audience could only shield themselves from the cloud of dust. When it finally settles, humanity was in silence, upon seeing Claymore on the ground, before finally seeing William, who had lost his head, upper chest, and arms. In their place is a bleeding stump of the rest of Williams body, before it collapses to the ground.

As for Horus, his transformation dissipates, revealing nothing more but a bleeding eye, as bloody feathers fall harmlessly to the ground. A result of using up his power.

Marion could only cry out "William, NO!"

Upon seeing the results, Heimdall begins his announcement. "The first battle of Ragnarok has concluded! And the winner of this match in the final battle between god and man, HORUS!"

The gods in the audience erupt in excitement, as they cheer for Horus' victory. Meanwhile, Goll and Brunhilde are at a loss for words, as were Santa Muerte and Eros.

Ragnarok Round One

Horus vs Sir William Wallace

Winner: Horus

Deciding Move: Beastial Protection with the Eye of Horus

Time: 15 minutes, 34 seconds

In the gods section, Zeus leaps on his throne in joy, celebrating the gods' first win.

Bathala grins evilly. "And so it begins: the end of humanity."

"How exquisite!" Aphrodite begins, fanning herself heavily. "I haven't felt such a wonderful orgasm in years!"

Heimdall finishes the match with his comments. "And so ends the first round with Horus as its victor! With the first point going to the gods, has the time come for the human race to finally end?"

A/N: And we're clear!

Sorry folks, but Round 1 is meant to be a win for the gods, which to me, felt the need to showcase that the gods are not be underestimated, and to raise the stakes.

Anyways, until the next chapter, BYE!
