Holy, uh… okay. Uh… I'm gonna clear some things up.

I think we should've made it clear that this story was not gonna be a harem story so sorry to all those who wanted it to be, but we just wanted it to be Charlie and Vaggie as the love interests… well, maybe we could add one more girl, but that'll be for the next season's bio.

Also, I specifically said in the bio that this is Ash from after the events of X and Y. Look, I… meant it when I stopped watching Pokemon after X and Y ended. Haven't watched the Sun and Moon anime or the Journeys anime. I am happy that Ash's journey finally came to an end, but I stopped after X and Y for… hopefully, reasons I don't need to say.

TaiKetch'em: Uh, dude, I don't think they're here to listen to your hot breath ass.

AshFan: What do you mean hot breath? What, can people feel through the screen now?

TaiKetch'em: I'm just saying, I think we should get to the story. Cause I'm pretty sure almost no one reads the author's notes anyway.

AshFan: Alright, alright. Let's do this.

(Somewhere)

A large white deer-looking creature was observing two different spheres. One showed a small house in a town, and the other was a hotel in a certain dark and dreary place. Two blue, pink, and white dragon-like creatures floated beside him and looked at the spheres as well before a large and dark one with tendrils appeared and matched their curiosity.

"Do you think he'll be able to help them?"

"... I believe he might."

(Pokemon World)

We start our story with a boy named Ash Ketchum. He had begun his journey at the age of ten and for the past seven years had been traveling around the world with his partner Pikachu, collecting many more Pokemon along the way and also helping out those in need of his help.

Speaking of which, he had just gotten back from his travels in the Kalos region. Sure he may not have won the league and there was some trouble at the end, but he hadn't let it get to him. As for what he was doing right now… well-

"Ash! Wake up, breakfast is ready!"

He was currently still in bed, in his house right now. Hair was a mess and in a position that made him look like he had fallen down the stairs. He groaned a bit before groggily opening his eyes, his vision being slightly blurry for a second before he blinked a couple of times. After a few seconds, he slowly untangled himself and sat up, rubbing his eyes.

"Ash, come on! The food's gonna get cold!" His mother called from downstairs.

"Right!" He called back before dropping back onto his pillow.

Pikachu yawned as he was the next to get up, rubbing his own eyes before getting up and shaking his head. The electric Pokemon looked at his trainer and poked at his face a bit. After a while, Ash opened his eyes again before sighing and finally getting up from the bed.

"Alright… come on, Pikachu." He says as his Pokemon jumps onto his shoulder.

Our young hero was currently taking a break from his journey for the time. Hey, everyone needs a break, right? After all, with all he's been through he deserves it right?

AshFan: Dude, what is this start?

TaiKetch'em: Give me a break. I haven't been writing in a long ass time.

"Breakfast is done!" Delia says as she places a plate with curry and a bowl of Pokemon food on the table.

"Thanks, mom." Ash says as he sits at the table with Pikachu hopping onto the table to join his table. While she went back into the kitchen, the boy took his spoon before seeing his Pokemon give him a look. "Yeah, I had that dream again. Kinda growing used to seeing it at this point."

"Pikachu." Pikachu sighed.

"Mmhmm. You got that right."

As he started eating, he looked out the window, seeing his reflection stare back. The dream in question had been as he said, recurring without him understanding why. While eating, he thought back to how it first started.

(Flashback)

Ash suddenly woke up, finding himself standing in the middle of a dark void. He appeared puzzled at first, looking around for a second.

"Uh… hello!?" He called out. "Hello!?" He called again before looking around. "Pikachu!? Mom!? Anyone!?"

He waited for a moment… before millions of eyes suddenly opened above him, startling him and making him fall. The eyes all stared at him, blinking out of sync with each other, never looking away for a second. He was in a way scared by what he was seeing and wondering just what was happening, much less what these eyes were doing.

He slowly stood back up, still uneasy from all the eyes staring at him as he started to turn around and look in every direction, finding nothing but eyes everywhere… well until he found someone else there. The being in question looked like a man with his arms behind his back, wearing a pure white suit and a tophat with a golden cross covering his face, which made him even more confused.

Taking another look at the eyes around him, Ash started walking to the man about to ask him a question. However, that was interrupted when he blinked and suddenly he found himself back in his bed.

(Flashback over)

And it's been the same for the past week with only slight differences, only telling his partner about it. He couldn't put his finger on why it was happening, but if he didn't find out why, he hoped that maybe it would end soon. It especially bugged him that he couldn't even get to speak to the man.

His mother came back with her own plate and he quickly straightened up to avoid suspicion. As much as he didn't like hiding something like this, he didn't want his mother to worry, especially not for something like this. Part of him wanted to figure this out on his own.

Later that day, after changing into his Kalos outfit, Ash went to the town library. Why? Well, cause he had a hunch as to what he might be seeing.

"Come on, come on. I swear it should… here!" He says with a smile before Pikachu hopped up onto the table to look at the page he was on in a book, finding a familiar deer-like creature. "The Alpha Pokemon: Arceus. That man I saw in my dream wears gold, the same colors Arceus has. If I'm right, there has to be some kind of information at least related to him, right?" He says as the electric Pokemon just shrugs. "Alright, let's see what we got."

Ash went through the book, reading it top to bottom in hopes of finding answers. Seconds passed by as he finished reading… seconds turned to minutes as he was looking through another book… minutes turned to hours as he was going through many other books… the sun started to set over the horizon and the boy had spent the whole day reading only to find-

"Nothing!" He groaned loudly before being shushed by the librarian. "Ugh, all I got is conflicting stories about Arceus' origins, nothing with that man in them." He says as Pikachu pops out of a pile of books. "Maybe I'm jumping to conclusions. This man might not even have anything to do with Arceus. If that's the case then… We just wasted our time." He says as his face drops.

"Pika, Pi." The electric Pokemon sighed.

"So much for that. Come on, Pikachu, let's get going."

The two then left the library, down from spending a whole day only finding himself with more questions than answers. Now he was frustrated. Frustrated, but was not about to give up. Maybe he was wrong about the strange man from his dream being related to Arceus, but he was still determined to find out what this man's deal was… or if this man was even real to begin with.

Tomorrow would be another day.

(Later that night)

'I gotta figure this out. There's gotta be some answers or something.' Ash says after getting changed into his pajamas before sitting on his bed. 'Hopefully I get some this time.'

He shook his head before turning his lamp off and getting under the covers. Pikachu hopped up and joined him as they lay in bed ready to hit the hay. With one more look out the window, he closed his eyes, ready for the dream and hoping that this time, he was gonna get some answers.

(?)

Ash woke up once again. He looked around, finding himself in the void again. Before he could open his mouth, the eyes opened once again and stared at him. It was not just them staring at him, but it was almost like they were judging him for whatever reason. He was still uneasy under their gaze, but he shook it off.

"Hey! I know you're here! Come on, out!" He called.

He took a look around in every direction until he found the man appearing in front of him. He was still startled by the sudden appearance but shrugged it off quickly.

"Hi. Look, I just want answers. Who are you? What's with these… dreams? Why do you keep appearing in them like this?" He asked, the man slightly tilting his head up, not enough to show his face. "Please, don't leave again." The boy then walked up to him. "Whatever the reason you're doing this, can you at least give me some kind of clue? Anything? Please."

The man moved his left arm out and put his hand to his chin. He then held a finger up before moving his right arm and holding it out. In his hand was something covered in a white glow.

Ash squinted his eyes, trying to make out what it was, but not having much success. He looked back up at the man, trying to get a view of his face, however, the most he could make out was a smile that became a toothy grin. It was uneasy to look at, but something about the smile seemed trustworthy and almost comforting.

Taking one last look, he reached for the thing in the man's hand, and right as he touched it, he woke up. He stared at the ceiling for a second, sun rays shining through his window. It took a moment for him to register what happened, then he looked annoyed.

"Dammit!" He shouted while throwing his hands up. "Of course, I find out nothing!" He continues as his Pokemon wakes up. "Okay, but this time the dream was much different so that must mean I'm getting close. Maybe next time I can get to the point and get that guy to talk to me."

"Pikachu." The electric Pokemon says, groggily.

His trainer looked at him and sighed. "I sound crazy, don't I?" He asked before scratching the back of his head. "Really shouldn't be letting this get the better of me."

Ash then laughed for a second before something else started to register in his mind, a feeling. He looked down at his other hand, lifting it and checking it out. It looked like a phone at first, but it had a case on it that he immediately recognized that it looked like the Alpha Pokemon.

He and Pikachu looked perplexed at the device before looking at each other.

(Sometime later)

"It's a start I guess." Ash says after he gets dressed before leaving and going downstairs, still looking at the phone. "Maybe there's some info on this thing." He says before getting ready to put the phone away, only to stop and look around. "Mom!? Hello?" He called, no answer.

Pikachu reached the end of the stairs and looked around as well. The boy was puzzled as he walked over to look at the backyard garden, but she wasn't there. Then he walked into the kitchen and stopped as he looked at the counter. There was a plate with a croquette sandwich and next to it was Pikachu's Pokemon food, but on his plate was a note as he picked it up.

'Sorry, Ash, I had to get to work early today. Enjoy your breakfast.'

It was obviously from his mom. He didn't think anything of it since she did work at the town's restaurant. He took the sandwich off the plate and started eating it while Pikachu got started on the Pokemon food. He walked over and sat on the couch and looked at the phone, trying to find a button to turn it on, but it didn't appear to have any. He put the sandwich in his mouth and tried to take the case off, but it proved not to be part of the phone.

He growled in annoyance before finishing his food and tried tapping the screen. Nothing happened as he swallowed before sighing while leaning back. Pikachu jumped onto the couch, holding the last of his food, and looking at his trainer.

"No, still nothing." Ash tells him before holding the phone up. "Maybe there's some kind of trigger for this thing. Least some kind of-" He suddenly stopped as the screen lit up. "WOAH! Holy crap!" He yelled as he dropped it on the floor. "Uh… well, I must've done something."

The phone then started making a dinging noise as he got off the couch and picked it up. Turning it over, there was a dot on the screen that flickered with each ding. Pikachu didn't know what to do and just shrugged. The boy looked back at the screen and words suddenly appeared under the dot.

Hold thy finger on the dot.

If there was a chance he'd finally get some kind of answer, he didn't hesitate. He pressed his finger against the screen and held it there for a few seconds. Then suddenly a light emitted from below him and his Pokemon. They jumped at first, especially as a strange star-looking shape formed below him.

"Woah! Woah!" He says as he almost stumbled before seeing his Pokemon suddenly float into the air. "Pikachu!"

"Pika!" Pikachu called before they hugged each other before they were suddenly engulfed in flames.

Ash held his Pokemon tightly as he suddenly felt the ground disappear below him and suddenly was hit with feeling lightheaded. He tried to fight it as much as he could to stay awake, but eventually, he ended up losing consciousness.

(?)

"What the hell!?"

"Holy shit!"

"Fucking, god. Am I high? Is… is anyone else seeing this?"

"Well, isn't this a surprise."

"Okay, okay, uh… let's not panic, anyone. Let's see what we're dealing with."

"Okay, so I'm not the only one seeing that then."

"Oh, my gosh!"

"What? What is it? Wha-Holy shit!"

"What are you talking about?... Woah, wait, is that…"

"A fucking human. Holy shit, I haven't seen one of these guys in forever."

"*GASP* A HUMAN! Oooh!"

"What's a human doing down here? How is there a human down here?"

"I don't know."

"He's pretty good looking though. *Rawr* ~"

"Angel, get away from him."

"So, this is what humans look like?"

"Well, what some look like anyway. I don't get what the clothes are about though."

"Yeah, looks like a discount baseball player or-What the fuck is that thing?"

"What is what-*GASP* Oh, it's a bunny!"

"Uh, Charlie that… doesn't look like a bunny."

"Yeah, it doesn't look like a bunny… I don't know what it fucking looks like."

"Shouldn't we be focused on… uh what to do with this human and his… thing?"

"Oh, right! Let's get him to the infirmary, stat!"

"I'll gladly take him."

"No way are we gonna trust you to be alone with him."

"Hmm, what a shame."

"I'll do it. Just… once he wakes up, everyone, get ready to greet him properly, and please try not to make his first time here horrible. That goes for you too, Angel."

"No promises."

(?)

After a while, Ash started to open his eyes slowly, groaning as he rubbed his face. After a moment, he moved his hand away from his face and looked up, blinking as his vision slowly cleared up, seeing a red ceiling above him.

"Wha… What the heck?" He says groggily.

"Cha!" He heard and turned to see his partner getting up.

"Pikachu?" He says as the electric Pokemon looks at him. "Are… are you okay?"

"Pi…" Pikachu looked at himself. "Pika."

"Thank goodness." Ash then sat up slowly while rubbing his head. "Was not ready for that."

Looking down, he found himself in what appeared to be a hospital bed from the looks of it. He looked around, finding a big room with rows of similar beds, next to him was a table that had his hat on it that he picked up before putting it on. He started to wonder if that phone thing he had caused something that sent him to the hospital which worried him.

The odd part was though, he didn't feel like anything was wrong with him. He got up from the bed and checked himself, moving around a bit, but nothing seemed off. Then he checked his Pokemon, but nothing seemed off.

"Looks all good. Wonder what's up with this place." He says to himself before looking back at the oddly empty beds. "Kinda creepy."

He turned and stopped, slowly turning his head back to the window and walked over to it. His eyes then widened as he looked out. In the near distance was a city in a red tint. Many of the buildings had fire emitting from either top, in the middle, or had cracks forming in them, some having parts of them missing as though a wrecking ball had gone through them.

He could still hear the sounds of gunshots in the distance and even saw some explosions go off. Pikachu also saw and matched his trainer's expression. The sky was also tinted red and had the same strange star shape that appeared below him before he passed out.

As he looked closer, he noticed something in the distance that stood out from the rest of the city. A large white and golden tower with an hourglass in the middle and a large clock on the top that said 364.

"Okay, this is… different." He says before looking away with a hand on his head. "I've got a bad feeling about this."

"Hello!" Someone suddenly leaned into view.

"OH CRAP!" Ash shouted as he jumped back.

"PIKA!" Pikachu got into a defensive position, cheeks emitting electricity.

"WOAH! H-HEY! WOAH! Woah! Woah! Woah! Woah! Did I frighten you?" The girl in front of him asked. "Didn't mean to. Sorry, hi. My name is Charlie, and this is my hotel. That's all I wanted to say. Also, there has been a bit of a mix-up. See you're not… supposed to be down here unless well… well, uh… I'm not sure how exactly to put it into words without freaking you out further."

It was odd to him. She looked as young and tall as he was and appeared to be wearing a bright red suit with makeup that made her look like a clown of some sort, apart from the nose which looked like an animal's, and her eyes being red and yellow which he thought to be contacts.

"... Okay. Nice to meet you, Charlie." Ash says before straightening up with his partner. "Uh, my name is Ash and this is my partner Pokemon: Pikachu." He then says as the electric Pokemon raises a paw.

"Hi, it is so good to finally introduce myself and to have someone visit." She then says while walking up to him, then holding a hand out. "Welcome to the Happy-Oh fuck! I mean, Hazbin Hotel!"

"Gotcha." He says as he shook her hand.

"By the way, do you mind if I pet your little friend here? Does he like being pet?"

"He does actually. Just go don't be rough with him."

She nodded before going over to Pikachu, moving her hand out to him. He hesitated for a moment before she touched his head, and then began petting him. He cooed as she moved her hand down to his cheek.

"Aw, he's so cute!" She giggled while rubbing his cheeks with both his hands.

Ash smiled a bit as it was clear this girl wasn't gonna hurt them. That being said, he was still lost on some things like where he was, and why he was there. As the girl picked up his Pokemon and started nuzzling, he looked back outside before looking back.

"What kind of animal is he? I've never seen one like him before." Charlie says while cradling the Pokemon.

"Wha… H-he's a Pokemon." He tells her, confused.

"Pokemon? Is that some kind of animal exclusive to Earth?"

"What do you mean? You don't know what a Pokemon is?"

"No, but I'd be happy to know if you could tell me."

The girl gave him a wide smile before staring right at him, blinking ever so slightly. That bad feeling Ash talked about earlier started to grow.

"Uh, w-where am I?" He asked as she stared at him in concern.

"Well… you see, here's the thing…" Charlie started to say.

"Why keep him in the dark?"

They quickly turned to the entrance of the room, bright red eyes piercing through the darkness. That was before a very, very tall man stepped out. Red hair, gray skin, a full dark red suit, deer antlers and ears coming from his head, and a standing red microphone in his hand. The freakiest thing though, was his wide cheek-to-cheek smile and sharp yellow teeth.

"After all, we did help him out. Telling him the truth is the least we can do." He says, his voice sounding as though it was coming from that of a radio.

The mere presence alone sent a chill down the boy and his Pokemon's spines, and those devious staring red eyes didn't help.

"H-hi. Uh, who are you?" Ash asked.

"Alastor!" He popped up behind the boy, startling him as he turned around. "Pleasure to be meeting you, young man! Quite a pleasure." He then says while grabbing and forcefully shaking his hand. "I have to say, that was one heck of a way to make a debut." He continues while getting in the boy's face.

"T-thanks, I guess. How did you do that?" Ash says while looking back and forth from the entrance to where he was.

"Haha, so young and ignorant. But I guess you don't know what to expect when you first come to Hell." Alastor laughed as he walked by.

"What? How does that-?" Ash started to say, offended before becoming surprised. "Hold on, what!?"

"Hahaha, hello? Is this thing on? Testing, testing." The man then taps his microphone which opens a red eye on it.

"Well, I heard you loud and clear." The mic said back.

"Alastor!" Charlie yelled as she put Pikachu down. "You can't just drop it on him like that!"

"Well, I figured you know, it'd save time if we just rip the bandage off right now." Alastor laughed again.

"W-what is he talking about? Where are we?" Ash asked, starting to get worried.

"Oh, no." Charlie groaned while rubbing her face before turning to the boy and giving him a comforting smile. "Okay, I didn't want you to freak you, but uh… I guess it'd be a bad idea not to tell you sooner, so…"

"What?" The boy asked, fear starting to form on his face.

"Well… uh… um…" The girl bit her lip, sweating a bit. "Ya see, there is a certain place where very, very, very bad people go when they die called-"

"Hell?"

"... Yes, and this is…" She walked over to the window before nervously gesturing outside. "The place where those bad people go."

Ash didn't have to look out where she gestured, not even needing to take long to understand what she was talking about.

"I-is this… some kind of joke? This has to be a joke." He says in disbelief.

"Okay, I know it seems a little weird, but… let me just show you something that will help convince you." Charlie tells him before raising her hand and creating a small ball of fire in her palm. "Eh? Bet nothing on Earth can do this." She says, holding it in front of him before making it disappear.

"And if you're still not convinced, well, hahaha…" Alastor says before leaning down, his presence suddenly becomes more menacing as his neck cracks. "I'd be glad to show you."

Ash looked scared when he saw what was happening before he suddenly shoved the man back while stepping back. The man looked back and only chuckled.

"Perhaps another time." He says before sinking into the floor, turning into shadows.

"Hey-" Charlie put a hand on the boy's shoulder, causing him to jump and turn to her. "Don't worry about him. He won't do anything to you unless you were to make a deal with him. But, if you weren't convinced before about being in Hell-"

"I mean, this… What you did was cool and all, but I've seen some humans and Pokemon do stuff like that before." Ash explained.

"Yeah, you still didn't explain to me what these Pokemon are."

"How do you not know what…"

Ash then started to think for a moment pacing around while rubbing his temples.

First, he started having these strange dreams of a man with millions of eyes for the past week. Second, he gets handed some random phone that tells him to put his finger against the screen which teleported him there. Third, this place is Hell and this girl doesn't know what Pokemon are. And just like before, he had absolutely no answers as to what was going on.

"Hey, ya know, if you wanna just tell me what these Pokemon are another time, you can." Charlie says while patting his back. "How about I just show you around the hotel, okay?"

"Uh… okay?"

"Great! Come on, you'll love what this place has to offer."

Charlie then excitedly walked over to the door, Pikachu jumping onto his trainer's shoulder before they followed behind. They exited into the hall and walked down it, lit up yet still dark, but of course, still had the same red tint to it.

However, he and his Pokemon were being extra cautious. Part of him hoped that he was being lied to, but if not, then they were in a very dangerous place. Knowing that alone, they had to be prepared just in case something were to appear and attack them.

"Now, I know you're probably freaking out a bit, knowing you're in Hell, but once you find out what we do here, I can guarantee that you will be seeing this place in a completely different light." The girl tells him. "Anyways, this is the hallway of the first floor. Aaaaaaaaaand…" She trailed off for a long time before stopping as they arrived at the top of stairs. "This is the lobby where the guests will first enter to view the hotel."

Ash looked over the railing, seeing the large room with couches on one side, and on the other a bright sea green alcohol bar. Sitting on one of the couches appeared to be a large white-furred creature with one eye red and yellow, the other eye red and black, and smaller purple eyes below them, who was dressed oddly. And there also appeared to be an anthropomorphic feline creature with wings and a tophat at the bar, drinking straight from the bottle.

"It looks, honestly really nice." He says.

"Thank you. That guy Alastor might've been creepy and shady as fuck, but he really helped us bring it all together. So you can thank him later." Charlie explained to him.

"As long as you don't make a deal with him, you'll be fine." The boy then jumped before he turned around. "Hey."

"Hi."

Standing at the entrance to the hallway he just came from was a gray-skinned girl with long white hair, and a bow on top of of her head. She had a white eye with a pink sclera, an eyepatch covering the other eye, and what appeared to be a giant X hovering over the hair over her eyepatch. She also wore a red dress shirt and a black skirt and was staring at him with just about no emotions.

"Ash, this is my girlfriend Vaggie. Vaggie, this is Ash, the human you just saw earlier." Charlie explains.

"Yeah, I can see that. So, how ya holding up so far?" Vaggie asked.

"I'm fine, for the most part. This is my Pokemon partner, Pikachu." Ash says while gesturing to the yellow mouse on his shoulder.

"What's- What's a Pokemon?" She asked with her brow furrowed.

"You too? Are… are there any other Pokemon here at all?"

"Can't really say there are. Haven't seen any of these guys around here."

"Come on, we still have to introduce you to everyone here." Charlie then says while heading down the stairs as Vaggie follows her.

Ash was left to himself for a moment before looking at his Pokemon. "I don't think this is the Hell from our world, Pikachu." He says, his partner agreeing with him before the two went down the stairs.

As they did, the white-furred creature noticed and sat up.

"Well, look who's ass finally woke up." He says as he stood up, revealing how tall he was as he walked up to the boy. "So, this is the kid huh? Not bad, I gotta say. ~"

"Puta drogadicta, can you not be horny for the first two minutes in front of him, Angel." Vaggie says in annoyance.

"Hey, I see something I like, I take it." Angel says while grinning as his golden tooth shined for a moment.

"Just ignore him. He's always like this." She says, glaring at the creature as the boy's eyes widen.

"Wait, he?" Ash asked.

"Yeah, I'm a guy." Angel says before getting a gleam in his eyes. "Would you care to find out? ~" He says seductively as he leans forward, his fluff in full view, making the boy uncomfortable, and before Pikachu lit up his cheeks with electricity. "Woah, woah, easy. Just messin' with ya."

"Aha, yeah he's um… Angel here is our first patron. He's here to help repent for his sins and show he can be a good person." Charlie explained.

"Actually doll, I'm just crashing here because it's the only place that lets me stay rent-free. Crack is expensive." Angel says before walking over to the bar. "Hey, kitty, mind giving me a drink?"

"You guys just let people stay here for free? Isn't that… bad for business? I mean this place looks expensive. With so many people staying here aren't you bound to run out of money at some point?" Ash asked with curiosity.

Hearing that, Charlie's eyes widened. "Uh… ehe… y-ya see… well…"

"There ain't no one else here." They turned to the cat. "It's pretty much empty aside from us. And trust me, I don't wanna be here." He says while pouring a drink and sliding it to Angel.

"Really? I thought this place would be booming with visitors knowing that this place lets people stay for free." Ash says as the blonde groaned.

"There is a catch. If you wanna stay here, you gotta promise to better yourself. Ya know, repent for your sins." Vaggie explained. "Unsurprisingly, there are hardly any sinners looking to repent in a place like this."

"Huh. Out of all the things I expected, that was not one of them."

"I get why. Demons are said to be evil creatures without a shred of good in them, right?" Charlie asked, getting a nod in return. "Well, I as the princess of Hell wanna prove otherwise. Surely there's bound to be some sinners that wish to rise and become good people that'll go to Heaven."

"Princess? Wait, you mean, like an actual real princess?" Ash asks.

"Yep. The princess of Hell Charlie Morningstar!"

"Woah… that is really cool." He says while smiling.

"Really? You're not shocked or anything?"

"No, honestly, it's pretty cool to be meeting a real-life princess. Even from Hell. It's not something that happens every day."

"Wow, I've never met anyone other than Vaggie who thought that. I thought I'd have to get into what we do here in my style of explaining."

"Well, how do you explain in your style?" Ash then asked as the blonde's eyes brightened and a wide smile slowly spread across her lips.

"And here she goes again. Get me something stronger, Husk." Angel called as the cat rolled his eyes.

"I'm glad you asked!" Charlie says excitedly before clapping her hands.

Then suddenly the lights went out causing the boy and his Pokemon to nearly freak out for a second before a spotlight came on. In the spotlight, Charlie was sitting on a piano with a smaller dragon-like creature in the seat as she cleared her throat.

TaiKetch'em: If you're reading this on and not Wattpad, this is the part where we insert the song from the pilot.

AshFan: Also, just a heads up, we're only gonna be writing out songs that will include Ash in them, whether it be him singing, or speaking in the background.

TaiKetch'em: I was going to tell them that.

AshFan: No you weren't.

Charlie finished off the song, standing in front of her metaphorical crowd, breathing heavily having not taken a breather the whole song. Ash and Pikachu stared in amazement at what they just watched.

"Woah… that was awesome!" Ash says.

"Thank you." Charlie says before walking back up to him. "So, you understand what I'm trying to do here, right?"

"I think I got that before the song, but, still that was an amazing song."

"Oh, thank you." She says while blushing slightly. "Uh, where was I?"

"Uh, Charlie?" Vaggie says, catching her attention. "Maybe we should focus on getting this kid back home?"

"Oh, right, I forgot!" Charlie says while smacking her head. "You probably wanna get back home, right?"

"That would be nice, but uh… um…" Ash started to say.

"What? What's wrong?"

"I don't…" He trailed off for a second before looking at Pikachu who just nodded. "Okay, I don't think I'm in… the right place."

"If you mean you think you're supposed to be in Heaven, you probably still have a chance."

"No, I mean-Ugh, this is gonna be hard to explain." He says before tapping his foot in thought. "Okay, to start, you wanted to know what Pokemon were, right?"

"Yes, I still want to. I haven't seen many creatures from the mortal realm."

"I mean, I haven't been on Earth in the past…" Angel started counting with his fingers. "Forever, so I'm a little curious about what's changed, too."

"That's the thing I'm trying to explain. I don't think I'm from the same 'mortal realm' as you guys." Ash says.

"What do you mean not the same mortal realm?" Vaggie asked, confused.

"I'm trying to say that I'm from a different world!" He then says frustrated.

After he said that, he took a look around the room. Angel, Husk, and Vaggie were already showing that they clearly didn't believe him, however, Charlie's eyes looked dumbfounded, yet curious. He sighed before thinking for a moment.

"Okay, I know it seems hard to believe but look, it started with me having these dreams, then I got this strange phone where… oh crud, right. The phone." He then started looking around his pockets while the others still gave him 'looks', Angel doing the 'screw loose' gesture. "Here it is. This is what got me here." He then pulled out the phone and showed it.

"Wow." Charlie says in amazement.

"Oh yeah, a phone with a fucking angelic casing or whatever. Real convincing kid." Husk says sarcastically.

"No, no! Look, it's really what brought me here to begin with. Look, if I can just figure out how to turn this on-" Ash says before the screen suddenly turns on. "Oh, uh… okay, that's a good sign." He says before looking at the screen.

On the screen appeared to be a small number of apps… that meant about three, all lined from up to down. One had the word PKMN on it, the other said NAV and the last said TRVL. Not getting it at first, he tapped on the TRVL app. Three options appeared, one saying HOME, the other saying SET WAYPOINT, and finally, SELECT WAYPOINT.

"Okay, that's new." He says.

"Did it show this last time?" Charlie asked.

"No, there was just a dot thing I was asked to hold my finger on. I don't get what this is all about."

He looked back at the phone, looking at the options once over. Looking at the home option, he started to get an idea of what it meant. Without thinking, he tapped on the option, and then suddenly the same symbol as before appeared below him, causing Charlie and Vaggie to step back before the boy and his Pokemon were suddenly engulfed in flames again.

"WOAH! WOAH!" Ash yelled before the fire died down. "What the…?" He says before looking around.

The hotel, the people in it, it was all gone and he was now standing on grass. He looked up, seeing the bright blue sky and Pidgeys flying through them. Then he looked down at the grass before looking to his side, there was his hometown. He took in the sight for a moment before turning around, and he saw his home.

"Huh, well, don't gotta worry about getting back home I guess." Ash says as Pikachu says his name in agreement.

The boy looked back at the phone which still had the TRVL app open. He knew what one option meant, but now it was the other two options he was focused on. He picked SELECT WAYPOINT and it showed several boxes, only one having an image of the hotel lobby. He hit select, got a message asking if he was sure he wanted to go there and he tapped yes.

Once again, the symbol appeared below him and he was engulfed in flames which caused him and his Pokemon to close their eyes. After a second, they opened their eyes and they were back in the lobby as expected. Everyone there looked shocked to see him.

Husk looked at the bottle in his hand before dropping it.

"... So, uh… can I start from the beginning?" Ash asked.

(Later)

"And then you just ended up here?" Vaggie asked.

"Yeah, and I got just about no explanation after what happened." Ash finished recounting the events.

"This has gotta be the weirdest fever dream I've ever had." Angel says.

"I've had weirder hangovers." Husk says.

"Okay, so… you're not from our Earth, but another Earth? In another dimension or something?" Charlie asked.

"Pretty much. That's the best I can say it." The boy tells her.

"You're taking this frightening better than expected." Vaggie says.

"Well, this ain't necessarily my first time dealing with something like this. I've been to a parallel universe where there was another me when I was at Kalos."

"... Do I even want to know?"

"I would. I mean, the whole other world… dimension thing is kinda freaky, but I think it's pretty cool." Charlie says with a smile. "But I also wanna know one thing. Did that guy ever tell you who he was?"

"No never said a single word to me. Only gave me this phone, no explanation, just-" Ash started to say before the phone started pinging and vibrating. "Huh?"

He looked back at the screen, finding the following message.

"I bestow upon thee this Arc Phone. Thy mission: assist the princess of the Morningstar family in her work."

He seemed somewhat surprised by the sudden message, but it seemed the objective was made clear enough.

"What is it? Let me see." Charlie says before going over and looking at the screen.

Once she read the message her eyes widened. Vaggie went up and read it as well, soon becoming shocked by the message. She looked at the blonde who was starting to shake, then suddenly started to bounce in place as a smile grew across her face.

"VAGGIE! VAGGIE! DO YOU SEE THIS!? DO YOU SEE THIS!?" She practically screamed while shoving the phone in her girlfriend's face. "LOOK! LOOK!"

"Yes, I can see it!" Vaggie says while pushing it away.

"Do you know, WHAT! THIS! MEANS!?" The princess screamed while getting in the other girl's face.

"I think so."

"This is a sign from Heaven!" Charlie says excitedly. "Someone up there must know about my hotel and send someone to help me! AHH!"

"W-why would they send someone from another world to help?"

"I don't know, but that doesn't matter. It means the hotel has a chance!"

"Really?" Ash says before taking the phone back. 'Is that the whole reason this is happening?' He thought to herself.

"Ash, I know you probably aren't a big fan of the idea of working down in Hell, but-" Charlie says before taking his hand in hers, which made Vaggie's face scrunch. "Will you join the Happy… I mean Hazbin Hotel in helping redeem sinners? Please?" She then says, still smiling.

Ash took a moment to gather his thoughts, looking around the lobby, and seeing Angel and Husk who turned their heads away. He looked at Vaggie who was glaring down at his hand still being in the blonde's. Then he looked at Pikachu who was gonna go with just about anything he would.

'Well, I mean, if it's for the greater good and if it'll help people then… well what's the harm?' He thought for a moment before smiling. "Alright. I'll do it."

"YES! THANK YOU!" Charlie shouted before she wrapped the boy in a tight hug, a crack was heard as the boy grimaced.

"No… problem." He groaned in pain before she let go of him and he gasped for air. "I should…" He tried to say before huffing and puffing before clearing his throat. "I-I can't stay… right now, though." He says between breaths.

"What? But I was gonna show you the rest of the hotel." Charlie says.

"Sorry, I'd love to… see it, but…" The boy finished catching his breath. "I really need to get back. My mom's probably worried sick by now. Especially since I haven't told her where I am."

"Oh… right." The blonde says, disappointedly which the boy noticed.

"Don't worry, I'll come back. And next time I'll get around to telling you some things about my world and you can tell me about yours."

"That sounds great. I would love to hear more about your world."

"Got it." Ash then held the phone up. "See you when I come back."

"Next time we're gonna have a proper welcome to you. Bye, Pikachu!" She then waved to the small mouse who waved back. "Oh, he's so cute." She cooed. "Come back soon!"

"Hehe, yeah. See ya." Ash chuckled before looking back at the phone pressing the home button and teleporting away.

"... Yeah, I still ain't convinced I'm not high." Angel says to himself.

"Charlie?" Vaggie asked. "Are you okay?"

Without saying a word Charlie let out a squeal before grabbing Vaggie and started spinning around while laughing in glee, believing that Heaven was trying to help her. Husk sighed in annoyance before taking the corks to two empty bottles and putting them in his ears, blocking out the noise as best as he could.

However, up on the railing of the stairs, Alastor stared down at them having watched the entire scene go down. A human boy from another world was sent to help the princess with her task, a young one at that who also seemed ignorant. He hummed in interest while his lips widened into a devious grin before he disappeared into the shadows.

(Meanwhile)

Ash went through the front door before dropping his butt on the couch with his Pokemon following afterward. His mother wasn't back yet so he was left alone.

"Pikachu… what just happened?" He asked as the mouse Pokemon looked up at him. "I'm not crazy, am I? We just went to… Holy Miltank."

"Pika pi. Pikachu." Pikachu says.

"Yeah, no kidding. And all this because of that weird dream I had, now I decided to work with demons." He laughed for a moment. "Oh, my mom would lose her freaking mind. Who wouldn't?"

He then took a look back at the phone. Taking another look over, he still couldn't get over how much it looked like the Alpha Pokemon.

"Seriously, there's no doubt that Arceus has to be involved with this. He has to be… either that or whoever sent this from their world is similar." He then looked through the phone. "Well, I can view the message again, but there doesn't seem to be a way to send a message back. That sucks."

"Pika, pi."

"I know it's not the end of the world." He then leaned back. "Hopefully I can get some kind of answers." He says before his stomach growls and he looks down. "Well, maybe I don't have to be in a rush." He laughed before he got up to prepare lunch.

To be continued…

TaiKetch'em: And the first chapter is done.

AshFan: Really struggled to find a way to end it, huh?

TaiKetch'em: Oh yeah, I'd like to see you do better.

AshFan: …

TaiKetch'em: Anyways, thank you for reading. If you have any constructive criticism… or criticism in general, don't be afraid to tell us. We're gonna be putting this story as our main focus and try to come up with something for this.

If you're wondering though, when season 1 is finished we will get to work on a season 2 continuation. Now if you excuse me, I gotta go draw up a thumbnail for this story.

AshFan: And stay tuned till next time folks, cause next chapter is the one I'm gonna be writing.
