The dimensional patrol Watchtower,A/n it's the rooters base from Ben 10.
The Sun rises over universes 14's Earth shining through the satellite Space station. Inside, birds fly and chirp through the indoor garden. As the wildlife frolic, their noise bringing life to the Watchtower, the first ten founding members of the dimensional portal oversee the scene in admiration of their work.
Rj gives a small frown as she places her hand on her hip. "Times like these one feels the very weight of the world upon us." She stated as Camila,belos,max tension,Naruto,moon butterfly,superman,supergirl,Batwoman,Thor,iron man,Thor,Batman and captain America listen to her words and silently agree. It seemed only yesterday that the dimensional patrol first banded together, to vow to protect the world from all causes. As these years went by, to a superhero, they felt like decades.
All ten hear footsteps and turn to see Aquaman walk towards them. "Everyone is here." The Atlantean king announced, his ocean-blue eyes gazing upon his comrades. Inside the meeting room, all members of the dimensional patrol patiently await the other four heroes for the meeting to start. The hiss of the front door signaled their enter as Batman, Superman, Camila,belos,max tension,Naruto,moon butterfly,captain America and Aquaman stood in the front of the room, gazing upon all of their teammates. The sheets of metal also close of the windows, making the room as secure as possible. "Our agenda is clear; what's at stake should not be underestimated." The Atlantean began.
"The decisions we make today will reverberate for years to come." Superman continued.
"And influence whether or not the world continues to put their trust in the dimensional." Queen moon added.
"Please take your seats." Batman finished, his voice authoritative. "We have work to do."
The meeting for new dimensional patrol members started immediately with the heroes debating whether or not to expand their roster. "Another expansion of the patrol could generate another escalation of hostilities from our enemies. No one needs or wants another masters of evil." Martian Manhunter spoke, his voice full of concern for the future.
Superman did not share the Martian's doubt and gave a smile of optimism. "Point taken, but the option remains to vote no on all candidates." He responded to J'onn before turning towards the center holo-computer in the center between the seated heroes. "So, I nominate black lightning for patrol membership." He spoke as a hologram of the dark-skinned hero appeared.
Rj placed her hand on Superman's arm, ending the awkward moment. "Icon interests me also." She added, ignoring shazam childish response. "As does his protégée,ladybug." Rj said as a hologram of ladybug replaced black lightning. Rj smiles at the heroine and she can restore damage. "Rj knows the patrol could use more female members." She said with a small grin.
White Canary looks back at rj, grinning as well. "Agreed." She said.
Garnet smiles. "Hear, hear." She adds as some of the male members shift uncomfortably of what the female heroes have to say.
The Defenders sanctum
It was a rather happy day at bonesborough.The Thanksgiving spirit was full and alive in defenders sanctum as the Team readies to celebrate their first holiday together. Well, mostly everyone. Most of the Team, spent the day with their families leaving luz,kim,Emily,ash,Sasha,willow,Apollo,Chris,penny,marcy,Aja,krell,king,sprig,tint,Anne,maria,Lincoln,Lucy,Dani,hunter,gus,Aaarrrgghh,kawaki,frosta,Darrel,Marco,star,and amity in the mountain. King was eating in the kitchen while sasha fidgets with her phone.
"Gobble,Gobble!" King happily exclaims as he scoops several cranberries into his mouth, chomping on them nosily. Loving their sweet taste, the titan's smile grew enormous. "I love Thanksgiving!" He said happily while sasha rolled her eyes.
"For a little guy you sure have a big appetite frosta said as king was about to take another scoopful.
King gave a glance that looked like he wasn't listening.what." He replied, ready to eat more cranberries. However, a wooden spoon telekinetically flew up and smacked the titan's paw—hard.
"Ow!" King complained, rubbing his paw while gus loudly laughed at the scene in front of him.Marcy gives king a reprimanding look for his constant appetite.
"Those are for dinner,marcy." Ash reminded him sternly as king gave a quiet groan. He looks and sees luz and ash also assisting anne and Chris for the dinner tonight. To him, Thanksgiving was like every year. But to Apollo,Chris,sprig,ash, and kawaki, it was their first Thanksgiving to celebrate.
Sprig almost laughs as he sees Lincoln in an apron, carrying the mashed potatoes into a bowl. "Lincoln, what kind of blackmail did ash use to make you do this?" The frog boy asks, his voice overdramatic and causing some of the girls to roll their eyes at the redhead.
Lincoln shrugged. "I volunteered Wally. Besides, this is my first Thanksgiving being here, without my biological family or the casgrandes,giving a grin to his comrades, even to hunter, who was on one of the chairs in the kitchen, petting Wolf.
The frog shook his head. "Wow Lincoln, why would you work when the others can do it?" Sprig replied, not realizing how wrong that sounded resulting in glares from others in the room.
Sprig sweat dropped. "Uh… I'm sorry." He replied quickly, shifting on his seat and looking up at the ceiling. For payback, Anne hit him hard in the arm. "Yow! Jeez, I said I was sorry!" The tai girl berated the frog boy sitting next to him.
Back to work, Marcy prepares to season the raw turkey before entering it into the oven. Taking a pinch of seasoning, she sprinkling the seasoning perfectly over the turkey. Dani smiles, proud at her work. "There, seasoned to perfection and ready for the oven." She called as washes her hands to wipe the seasoning from her hands over the sink. Marcy then used her telekinesis to levitate the turkey into the oven, closing it ready to be baked.
Ash turned to the frog and Anne. "Sprig,Anne, I thought you guys were eating with your families?" She asked.
The speedster and frog head shot up from remembering. "Oh yeah, mom will kill me if I'm late." He responded as she got up from her chair, taking a scoopful of cranberries and chewed on them noisily, earning a groan from dani. "See ya!" She called as she super speeds towards the zeta tube carrying sprig before ash could respond about not eating the fruit.
"Anne!" Ash called but shakes her head, hearing the speedster already being accessed by the zeta tube. The half ghost girl then turns to the blonde next to her. "What about you others specifically Chris,hunter,gus,frosta,Darrel,Marco,star,and amity,? Shouldn't you be going to your families?"
"Uh, it'll just be me," Hunter said. "But im joining Luz's family."
Their conversation was cut short when they heard quiet sobbing. The three turn around to see Lincoln rubbing his eyes to stop the tears. The white-haired boy turns to his friends. "I-It's nothing. It's just the onions." His tried to reassure them as lucy looked at her brother with concern as ash placed a comforting hand on her shoulder. Lincoln looked back at the food they prepared and gave a smile of remembrance. "These were all the things I cooked for…" She paused to prevent a tear from falling. "It's my and Lucy first Thanksgiving without our family." Lincoln added before embracing Lucy into a hug. as kawaki watches the scene from his chair.
"Yeah." kawaki quietly mutters as hunter pets Wolf. Suddenly,kawaki,hunter and Wolf wince as they hear loud electric buzzing through their ears. The noise was so loud, kawaki placed his hands over his ears to limit the pain. Gus watches the clone with mild curiosity.
kawaki was going to ask his friends if they can hear the buzzing too, until a familiar voice echoed through his head. "With supergirl and Naruto off world, only one thing with four legs alive can hear this frequency ultra ninja, and that's you."The voice hissed as the clone furrows his brow in confusion. "Meet me in Washington DC, East Potomac Park. I promise it will be worth the trip."
The clone stood as well as Wolf and hunter, both leaving the kitchen. Ash took notice of her boyfriend leaving. "kawaki?" She asked concerned.
"Figure you guys don't want my help in the kitchen. Remember the last time?" Conner replied and continued to walk down the corridor.
Lincoln momentary stopped working on the cranberries and gazed suspiciously at the clone . "And you are going…?" He asked his friend.
"Me and Hunter just taking Wolf for a walk, no big." kawaki quickly lied, not looking back as he and the mutant wolf continued down the hall. Both ash,Lincoln and Dani gave skeptical looks but resumed preparing for the evening. Gus, already prepared to make discoveries one after the other, quietly exited the kitchen and followed kawaki when no one noticed.
Back on the Watchtower.
possible new members have been discussed for being initiated into the dimensional patrol. As of now, the heroes now discuss ant man, another candidate for patrol membership.
"Seriously, the Atom?" Captain Marvel asked skeptically as a hologram of the small-sized hero appeared. "How useful could he be at that size?"
Batman turned to his comrade. "It's the size that makes him useful." The Dark Knight replied to the captain.
"Absolutely." Flash interrupted, bringing the attention of the other League members. "Still, we could use more raw power and Earth has a third Green Lantern—Guy Gardner." The scarlet speedster said as a hologram of the hero appeared, replacing the Atom. Even a hologram, a smug grin is placed on the hero's face.
Eda and white Canary turned to Flash. "No." The replied simultaneously.
Flash's eyes widen. "But we could really—"
"No." The two females, making the speedster sigh and Shazam covering his mouth to smother his chuckles.
With hunter
Hunter,kawaki and Wolf continued down the halls of defenders sanctum, their footsteps reverberating around the sanctum. The clone felt a little guilty for lying to his friends, but this is something he has to do alone. And the voice, why did that sound so familiar?
As kawaki continued to walk, he paused and turned around. Frowning, he used his super-hearing to discover someone is following him. His frown now a scowl, he walked faster towards the hanger.
Gus soon ran forwards and looked around. Where did hunter and kawaki go? He asked himself internally as he looked around the halls. "Wow, you know, you could really get lost in here." He commented as his voice echoed around the sanctum. "Then again, there's always the Tem—"
Suddenly, strong arms grasped gus's shoulders, causing the illusion Master to yelp and put on his Kaijudo Gauntlet. In the blink of an eye, he was shoved against the wall, his eyes narrowing into ultra ninja and hunter's.
kawaki frowned. "Why are you following us?" The clone demanded his tone full with impatience.
Gus chuckled and shrugged, despite how scary ultra ninja looked right now. "Call it, uh, Kaijudo duelist Duty?" The illusionist replied, hoping he would buy his excuse.
Sighing, kawaki released his grip from gus. "Sorry, gus," he said. "Forgot that you were a Kaijudo Duelist." He said before crossing his arms. kawaki and hunter stared sternly at the witch Kaijudo Duelist to get back on the subject. "I'll ask again, why are you following us?"
Gus gave a small grin. "I noticed you both covered your ears. Judging on your faces, my guess that it was a noise that only you both can hear. Also, you just stood up and left, lying to the others," The witch Duelist replied. "And you purposefully put your fly down to make the excuse real."
Both kawaki and hunter's gave an impressed expression. He read them almost as well as nightwing. They glares at gus, both hunter and kawaki could see the eagerness and excitement of adventure. Maybe he could go with us… kawaki shook his head. No! We had to go alone. "Go home." Hunter replied, causing Gus to frown. He was about to walk away until Augustus said something that caught his attention.
"Are we headed to Washington DC, where you came from?" Gus said abruptly, stopping kawaki in his tracks. Turning back, he sees gus's calculative grin. "It's a habit of mine, but maybe if we see how you got your powers, and since you don't have all of naruto or pain's powers, sorry to mention that, we could find a way to give them to you."
kawaki internally thought about this. Of all the times kawaki wanted to be like Naruto,he felt like an unwanted child. This could be his one chance he know what it was like to be Naruto. But, the voice, it sounded somewhat similar to the commander cobra, from what rj told them after coming back from from miles dimension, and didn't want to take the chance of getting them both hurt. The clone and the grimwalker sighed and looked at gus, a victorious grin stretched across his face. Soon, he met eye to eye with him, still grinning. "All right fine, but on one condition…" kawaki paused, stopping hunter and gus's excited fist-pump. "…You don't tell anyone. Got it?"
Gus saluted and dashed towards kawaki and hunter, walking next to him with Wolf behind them. "So, when do we leave?" The witch duelists asked.
"Now." kawaki replied immediate and brief.
Gus gave a confused look.
The clone and grimewalker took in a breath. They sighed. " we're meeting someone." Hunter replied.
"Oh."
After walking quietly for a few more moments, gus spoke up again.
"You know what else I noticed?" Gabe began the conversation, getting both kawaki and hunter's attention.
"What?" Hunter asked annoyed, both stop walking and glaring at one another.
they resumed walking toward the hanger.
The trip to DC was fine to say the least. For kawaki and Gus, riding on Sphere in her Supercycle form reminded him of the missions the Team had. Suddenly, kawaki felt guilt enter his thoughts, remembering lying to ash and his Friends, and handling it so casually. kawaki shook his head. No, he had a reason right? I mean it's not normal to have strangers talk inside your head. kawaki thought reassuringly, trying to block out his guilt. He spared a glance at gus in the co-pilot's seat, with gargle at his side, both who looked like they was having the time of their lives.
Gargle cheered excitedly and jumped, but nearly fell out had ultra ninja and Gus not caught him in time. "Almost makes up for banishment!" Gargle yelled as ultra ninja winced from the loudness of his squealing voice due to his superhearing.
Rain began to drizzle as kawaki professionally flew down the Supercycle under a bridge, landing the vehicle with ease. kawaki,hunter,gus,Gargle, and Wolf turn to see a white limousine park professionally behind them. The driver's seat opens, revealing a brunette woman wearing a female business suit walking towards one of the passenger doors. She opens it to reveal Baron Ironblood, smiling under his mask almost pleasantry, at ultra ninja and the golden protector. However, the commander's smile turned into a frown as he sees Gus and the Reef Prince, exiting the limo.
Why are we meeting with him?" Gus replied.
kawaki shrugged. "We don't know. But it's better to find out why." He responded as he, gus,hunter, Gargle, and Wolf exit the Supercycle and walk towards the billionaire. Baron Ironblood quickly regained his smile and offered his hands to both kawaki and hunter.
"Ultra ninja,golden guard , my name is Baron Ironblood." The commander introduced, offering a polite smile."I'm the new chairman of the board for Project Cadmus." Gus gives a surprised look, remembering he heard the name Cadmus before from mythology.
Wolf growls at the commander as kawaki and hunter crossed their arms, not bothering to shake cobra's hand. "I know who you are cobra, and nether me or hunter want nothing to do with you or Cadmus." The clone replied curtly, wanting this conversation to end and to return home to his friends and ash.
Baron ignored kawaki's outburst and gazed upon gus and Gargle. "I wasn't expecting you bringing a visitor and some… pet? Robot? Am I close?" The billionaire asked as Gabriel mimicked kawaki's body expression.
"Best that cobra commander not know!" Gargle remarked.
"Cute." Baron noted sarcastically.
"I wasn't expecting meeting Baron Ironblood either or some sort of silent and creepy bodyguard, but here we all are, so hip-hip hooray." Gabriel retorted, glaring at Baron.
"And if you don't mind, we'll be leaving." kawaki added, already walking back to the Supercycle and to return home to his friends.
"Cadmus has created a new Superclone." Baron states rather bluntly which stops kawaki in his tracks. Gus's eyes widen as he took out his phone to record everything as cobra smirks. "If you're interested, you may want to see him rather quickly."
kawaki narrows his eyes as he and Wolf sat back on the Supercycle. Gus and Gargle give a glare at cobra before they returned to the vehicle on the co-pilot's seat. Cobra looks up as the Supercycle reenters the sky on the way to Cadmus. With his smile gone, Baron Ironblood turns to his bodyguard Mercy. "Tell nechros that the witch jinchuuriki is here." The commander ordered as Mercy nodded obediently.
The alarms blared across Cadmus as security guards run towards the roof, indicating that where the alarms originated from. Cocking their weapons, the guards burst open the roof doors to see kawaki,hunter,gus,Gargle, and Wolf nonchalantly looking at the camera while Gargle prepared to attack. "Citizen steel, fast work on the rebuild." Kawaki commented, his voice quickly turning ominous with a warning tone in it. "Now, escort me and my friends down the easy way, or I escort myself down the hard way." Kawaki warned as Gabe and hunter waved their hands in front of the camera.
Citizen steel watches the camera from his computer screen at his desk and he presses a button, signaling his men to stand down. One of the scientists, a dark-skinned, brown haired woman, looks at citizen steel with worry. "You're letting ultra ninja down here?" She asks as she hugs her clipboard frantically.
Citizen steel looks back at the scientist, as though it isn't a real concern. "Focus on the matter at hand, Dr. Spence. Another genomorph has vanished."
Dubbilex, the genomorph that helped give Superboy his freedom from Cadmus, stares back at citizen steel . "Every disappearance is being investigated." He responded confidently towards Guardian.
"Not good enough, Dubbilex." He told the genomorph sternly and was about to say more until the wishing of opening mechanical doors interrupted their conversation. Ultra ninja entered the room, anger crossing his face.
"The new Superclone, where are you holding it?" Kawaki demanded, already getting to the point as he and Wolf walked angrily towards citizen steel's desk with hunter,Gus and Gargle behind them, Gargle waving his fist at the two guards and causing them to run away scared.
"Welcome home ultra ninja." Citizen steel greeted, wanting to get introductions done before retuning back to business. "And what are you talking about?"
Dubbilex places a hand on kawaki's shoulder, getting the clone's attention. "Brother, you are the only superclone in Cadmus." The genomorph replied.
Spence nodded. "All Cloning projects, Human and alien,jinchuuriki, have been shut down since your escape." She added her voice in disappointment at the end of her sentence.
Kawaki glared at the scientist. "Since my liberation." He clarified as Spence hugs her clipboard and looks everywhere but Superboy.
"As you say. Now, I'm needed back in my lab." She replies quickly as an excuse to leave.
Gus shakes his head as Gargle toys around with Spence's pen and phone while Spence herself leaves, the door shutting behind her. "Liar, liar, panties on fire!" Gargle mutters as kawaki and hunter nods in agreement.
Citizen stands and removes his helmet, sighing and moving his hand through his red hair. "Sometimes I hate this job." He comments.
"I don't know if there is another Superclone, but I'd be happy to give you a tour around Cadmus." Citizen steel compromised.
Kawaki gave a huff of impatience. "Fine." He replied as he, Wolf,hunter,gus and Gargle began to walk but citizen steel raised his hand at them.
Looking at gus, citizen steel spoke. "I apologize, Sir, but if you want to enter the building to see the other genomorphs, any technology must be confiscated until the end of the tour, and your pet—?"
Gus gave a disbelieving expression as citizen smiled sheepishly. "Sorry, company policy." He apologized once more.
Gus gave Guardian his gauntlet, but secretly hid his scroll under his hat without him noticing. Citizen steel smiled as he placed the gauntlet in a desk. "All right then, off we go." He replied as kawaki,hunter,gus, Gargle, and Wolf followed him.
At the dimensional portals base
The dimensional patrol continued to talk about possible candidates for League membership. Currently, they are on Blue Devil and his sidekick Kid Devil, their blue skin and horns showing through the hologram.
"If we're considering Blue Devil and his sidekick, than I nominate Red Arrow." Hawkeye announced, a smile at how well Roy has become as a solo hero a hologram of green arrow's former partner appeared, replacing the other two devil heroes. "Roy has more experience and isn't a kid anymore, he's eighteen. A legal adult." Captain America said proudly. "He's ready."
Aquaman frowned. "Is he? Red Arrow has been uncooperative and disrespectful. If we reward that behavior, what message does that send to the rest of the other young heroes?"
Hawkeye sinks in his seat as Captain Marvel gives the archer a pat on the back of reassurance.
The dimensional patrol has already discussed most of the adult solo heroes, and now they are considering of adding members from the Team. Needless to say, Superman was not happy.
"No, Red Arrow may be eighteen, but the rest of the Team is too young. We're not inducting children into the League." The Man of Steel stated which Shazam shifted in his seat uncomfortably and pulled at his scruffs.
mystic warrior turns her head to Superman. "That seals my offer; I have been one with Anne and hunter ." The sorcerer muses as their holograms appeared. "Both are ready."
Eda purses her lips. "What about amity?" The owl lady asked, as a hologram of the young sorcerous appeared.
"Absolutely not!" Lilith snapped.
Eda formed a slight grin. "That sounded almost protective liliy. At least we know your still an eye on your little girl."
Suddenly, Shazam stood from his seat. "Why is mystic warrior a member? You almost coerced Lilith to give her life to you, which you almost did the same to nagato, otherwise Lilith would lose her daughter instead." Shazam scolded his anger clear. "Not cool."
Vision seemed to share shazam's sentiment. "Should such behavior be condoned?" The robot hero asks his colleagues.
"Nagato desires mystic warrior remain in the League." The sorcerer coolly responded.
Hulk scoffed. "Oh, please." He retorted, siding with Shazam.
Holactie crosses her arms. "It is true; nagato's trust in. "Holactie is measured. He desires the League to maintain a close watch upon us." He responds, not looking at Shazam. Shazam shouting hero grinned victoriously as Batman changed the subject for the next possible candidate.
Back at cadmus
Citizen steel opens the door for the tour, looking at the room. Inside, genomorphs are seen helping human scientists, whether brining equipment to them or mopping the floors. "Here's the 411; this is the new and improved Cadmus," citizen steel states as he leads the tour, with kawaki,gus,hunter,Gargle, and Wolf following him. They see Spence writing information on her clipboard as she nervously gazes at ultra ninja. "Dr. Spence and her team are doing truly worthwhile genetic medical research now." Citizen steel notes, a smile forming his face. "The genomorphs are becoming more independent, more educated. Some even have names." He adds as they pass by a genomorph with multiple arms washing dishes. "Hey Benny." Citizen steel greets with a wave as the genomorph greets back. Gabe gives a hesitant wave at Benny as citizen steel greets another genomorph, Eric. "Someday, the work done here will save millions of lives." Citizen steel adds.
Kawaki sighed as the tour continued, thinking citizen steel is just using this "tour" as a distraction from finding the superclone. As if on cue, Dubbilex's voice entered through kawaki's head. "Ultra ninja,you may trust citizen steel. He keeps no secrets."
"Unlike you."kawaki mentally retorted to his genomorph brother. "Apparently you still keep your physic powers off grid."
"Some secrets have their place. We were all created to be exploited as living weapons. You were designed—"
"—To replace or destroy Naruto,sasuke or otsutsuki. I know what's your point?"kawaki asked, unsure of what this conversation will lead.
"That you should understand the plight of those left behind; after I helped free you from Cadmus."Dubbilex stated, stopping kawaki.
Kawaki frowned. "The League liberated all genomorphs."The clone replied in a matter-of-fact tone.
"Are we free to walk the surface as you do? Or has our role merely changed from weapons to mental labor?"Dubbilex retorted. Kawaki looks to see the genomorphs sweep the floor and carry tools. Maybe Dubbilex was right.
"I-It's complicated, but first things first…" kawaki momentarily stopped his conversation with Dubbilex to get answers. "Citizen steel, could a Superclone exist without you knowing?" He asks the chief of Cadmus security.
"It's highly unlikely." Citizen steel responded before Dubbilex continued their mental conversation.
"But could happen." Gargle pointed out. He then took some paper and wrote on it. "On scale of one to ten, your score: 2!" Gargle exclaimed.
Citizen steel,hunter and gus looked to each other as they looked to Gargle. "I'm suddenly scared of your little fella." Citizen steel said.
"Tell me brother, what you do if you found this superclone?"The genomorph asks.
Kawaki frowns. "If it exists, I'm freeing it, just like kamen amp,ranger,bellona,heka,light speed and max steel freed me." He exclaims, not realizing he wasn't speaking mentally, earning strange looks from citizen steel, hunter and gus.
"Then I will question our brothers. Nothing happens at Cadmus without a genomorph knowing." Dubbilex promises. "If a superclone exists, we will find him."
Kawaki clenches his fist as citizen steel takes notice. "I have my own missing genomorphs to locate, but you got the run of the place. I'll just doubt you'll find what you're looking for." Citizen steel said off-handedly before returning to his office. As he leaves, he looks back at gus. "Once you're done, your gauntlet will be ready when you leave." Citizen steel calls as he leaves the room.
When Citizen steel was out of hearing range, gus looks at hunter and kawaki with concern. "Were both mentally talking with one of those other genothingies?" he asked.
Kawaki nods. "Yeah, Dubbilex. He helped me escape from here along with the others. That's when I met my friends for the first time. " kawaki then frowns. "How'd you know?"
Gus just simply shrugs.before Gargle and hunter came over, shaking hands with Benny and hi-fiving Eric. "Also, Gargle tuned in," gus added on before he asks, "You got a plan then?"
The clone nods once more. "Yeah, follow me." Kawaki leads toward deep in Cadmus, the way that kamen amp,ranger,bellona,heka,light speed and max steel found him. Kawaki's eyes narrowed at being imprisoned here, to be used only for a weapon. As they walked down the familiar passage way, kawaki notices gus recording the area with his scroll .
Gus lowered his phone. "I'm recording this for the others. Anything that involves Ironblood playing dirty will be a one-way ticket for jail." The male witch explained as they went deeper inside the facility. As Gus followed kawaki and hunter, the uncomfortable silence was back. Not liking the atmosphere, gus once more spoke up. "Are you sure you know where we're going?" he asked a little irritated.
Kawaki frowned. "Yeah, I do." He replied tersely as Wolf resumed sniffing the ground for any kind of scent. Sighing, kawaki and hunter both looked back at gus. "Thanks for coming along." He said gratefully.
"Hey, what are friends for?" Gus asked.
"And Reef Prince?" Gargle added on.
Kawaki and hunter sends a grateful smiles to gus for talking with him. Even Wolf looked up and seemed to grin. However, kawaki's smile quickly wore off as he entered his birth room, staring down at the sunlight chamber where he was raised, like a lab rat. Kawaki walks forward to the glass chamber and places his hand on his old pod, looking at his reflection. Gus and hunter stands next to him, already guessing what this place was.
"T-This is where I was born." Kawaki said, his voice low. "I mean created." Sighing, he looked at gus and hunter. "The whole point of my creation was so that I replace or kill otsutsuki. Cadmus created me to be a weapon." Kawaki then lowered his head, closing his eyes and mentally slapped himself that he was revealing too much to someone he just met. Kawaki opens his eyes as he saw hunter placed his hand on top of kawaki's and giving him a sympathetic smile.
"I think it's safe to say that not everyone has a good childhood, but at least they improve." Hunter responded, causing kawaki's spirit to lighten in the mood. However, their conversation was interrupted when they turn their heads to see Wolf sniffing and flapjack pecking at one of the walls. Frowning, kawaki places his head near the wall and using his superhearing to hear what was on the other side. His frown deepens as he hears electric buzzing. Hunter uses his strength, he tore upon the wall, revealing a round, metallic door hidden behind it, sealed shut. Grunting in effort, he used his superstrength to tear open the door, cool air with the temperature as cold as a freezer brushing upon his skin. With the door open, kawaki and hunter both enters along with Gabe, Gargle,flapjack and Wolf following behind them. When they entered the room, they were shocked at what they saw.
The room was enormous, about the size of an entire football stadium, filled with hundreds of cloning tanks. Countless genomorphs, frozen like preserved food. Hunter frowns before pulling gus close to him. Before he could ask why, gus screams as kawaki leaps onto ground level, hunter form a cloud made out of carbon with Wolf following them mere seconds later. Kawaki releases gus in which the male witch glares at him. "Next time, warn me when you do that!" Gus yelled, but kawaki paid no attention, his focus on the countless number of cloning tanks in the enormous lair. Gus shivers as he started to grab Gargle, the two now following kawaki,hunter and Wolf, also overlooking the countless storage tanks.
Kawaki frowns as he looks at one tank which the glass was covered in a thick layer of frost, unable to see the occupant inside. He wipes the muggy frost off to discover—himself. Baron was right, there was another superclone! And he looked unconscious too, preserved like freezer food. Those liars! Kawaki thought venomously.
Gus and hunter both gasps as they stares in horror at the dormant superclone, looking from it to kawaki. "Oh my titan." Gus whispers as kawaki wipes off most of the other frost, revealing the other clone wearing a white solarsuit with otsutsuki symbol on his chest. The same clothes kawaki wore before he escaped to freedom.
Kawaki looks back at the shocked gus and hunter. "Help me get him out of here." Kawaki orders, both waking gus and hunter from they're trance. Looking at the security console several feet away from the entrapped superclone, hunter took out his gauntlet and plugged it in to one of the outlet ports. Gargle's security virus was doing its work, air hissing in the preserved chamber. With all of the frost removed, the pod itself mechanically slides through the floor, leaving only the unconscious superclone on a table standing vertically. Gus and hunter both noticed the front of the chamber said 'Project Match' before it disappeared. They were hoping that they were doing the right thing as hunter plugged out his gauntlet.
Gus hears a cracking noise and turns to see the unconscious clone waking up, clenching his hand. In an instant, kawaki's twin awakens and hunter flinches at his eyes. Unlike kawaki, whose eyes where blue, the other clone's eyes were a paler shade with black surrounding it. The reawakened clone stares at the three before settling his eyes on Conner, who didn't seemed tense under the intensity of the other clone's glare.
"It's okay, you're free now." Kawaki said happily to the clone, which didn't seem to listen to him. Instead, Gabe felt nervous that the clone was looking at the otsutsuki symbol on kawaki's T-shirt, and that his emotionless face quickly turned into a deadly scowl. Without warning or hesitation, the other clone roared as it charged kawaki, sending him crashing to the floor and ready to land a fist unto his face. In a flash, kawaki flipped the clone over with his feet, which it crashed into one of the tanks containing the genomorphs. Unfazed, the clone charged kawaki again, this time grabbing the scruffs of his T-shirt and slamming him against one of the other genomorph tanks. Before he could land a blow, kawaki raised his hands in a pacifying gesture. "Stop, I'm on your side!" He attempted to reason to the clone, but only proved to anger him even further. With a mighty throw, he threw kawaki out of the room, in which he slammed into one of the walls from the other side.
Hunter in flash teleports and morphs his hand into a carbon hammer And Wolf growls before pouncing on the hostile clone, in retaliation for hurting his master. The clone quickly grabs Wolf and hunter before throwing them at gus, who both were sent flying out of the room as well. Kawaki quickly catches them and notices the clone arrived quickly, much to his shock. He was flying off the floor!
Ultra ninja's eyes widen. "You can fly." He states surprised. "Why can you fly?" His question was answered with a fist, sending him flying back, which ultra ninja lands on his feet, and ducked just in time to avoid another one. Gus groans as he awakens from temporarily being knocked out to see the two clones fighting each other. Kawaki blocks another punch before addressing his Duelist Friend. "Gus, get out here! Get help, find citizen!" Kawaki ordered, as he kept blocking, but just barely, from the aggressive clone's assault.
"Not a chance!" Gus exclaimed as Gargle started to attach himself to the cameras. His eyes flashed before everything that gus was doing became censored.
Gabe activated his Gauntlet and started to perform a Nature-Summoning Kata. "Bronze Arm Champion!" he called out.
The Bronze Arm Champion, armed with a spear, emerged from the Veil before charging towards the clone.
Just as the clone sent another Earth-shattering blow to kawaki's jaw, sending him down to the floor. Kawaki groans as he gets up, clearly annoyed and reluctant to fight the stubborn clone. "I don't want to do this." Kawaki warned but the clone didn't seem to care, grabbing ultra ninja and punching him once again, but not before ultra ninja tore the other clone's outfit, tearing off the shield symbol from his suit, revealing his bare chest.
That was when the Bronze Arm Champion swung the Clone aside. The Clone grunted as the Champion then stomped on him, pummeling the angered clone to the ground.
The Clone got back up, seeing Gus aiming his Gauntlet at him. The Clone shot heat-vision at gus, but he activated his Shield before the Bronze Arm Champion sent a stab to the shoulder of the Clone.
The Clone yelled as some blood came out. He angrily jabbed his hand into the Nature Creature's chest, sending him back to the Creature Realm.
, Hunter focused the magic of his staff and formed a construct sword and thrust it towards her. The clone grabbed the contract sword breaking it and morphed his arm into a blade and stab hunter,but he quickly teleported himself to the safe distance.
[Driver On.]
Hunter released his staff and then slid off his gloves as he took out two rings and slipped them on.

[Crusa-Crusa-CRUSADER~]
A green magic circle and a purple magic circle appeared underneath each respective young witch. When the circles rose over him,his Rider' helmets glowed fiercely as he stared at the clone and he got into their fighting stances.
Crusader began to charge.
[Crow Scythe, Now.]
A black and purple crow appeared next to Crusader before it transformed into the Crow Scythe. Crusader grabbed his weapon and charged straight for the clone. The golden Rider charged for him as well, as she came within striking distance, Crusader slashed with this scythe, but the clone ducked underneath it. The clone charged for him again,However, before he could land a blow, something else appeared. A purple construct of Crusader manifested between them and took the blow that was meant for him.
Crusader turned around and that's when nine more construct clones appeared, each one wielding a construct version of the Crow Scythe. "I didn't get the chance to show off this ability. But the Crow Scythe allows me to create ten copies of myself."
One The Crusader Clones jumped up into the air and landed in a circle around the clone, completely surrounding her. The Clone block the attack, the Crusader clones ran after her and began slashing the air in front of them, releasing crescent waves of energy.
The crescent waves struck the ground, but as expected, they began to ricochet off the ground and the walls. The clone fired his heat at all of them. The golden Rider avoided getting hit by blast.
[Hornbill Drill, Now.]
Crusader dashed towards the clone. A black and orange bird appeared, and within seconds merged with Crusader's left arm to become the Hornbill Drill. The arm mounted weapon began to spin rapidly as Crusader closed in on the clone. And just as he planned, but clone avoid his next attack. But Crusader thrust out with his left arm and hit him in the stomach with the Hornbill Drill. The drill bit spun faster and faster as sparks flew from the chest. A buildup of energy began to take place around the drill, and after taking one step forward, the drill released a burst of magical energy.
However, Crusader paused when he saw a golden light shine from the dust cloud. When the cloud settled, he saw The still as if his attack was nothing.
Oh come on crusader said.as the clone grabbed the drill used his super strength crush the drill into pieces shattering it.
He then grabbed crusader and fired his chakra cannon at him,sending him flying across the area,crusader changed back into his civilian clothes with hole stomach but it quickly regenerated.
Then from out nowhere Wolf once again pounces on the hostile clone, before it tosses the mutant animal down on the floor roughly, which the animal whimpered in pain. Kawaki growled, this has taken too far! "Enough!" Kawaki yells in anger, bringing the clone into a headlock stretching his arm around his body, temporary subduing him. "I'm trying to help you!" Kawaki attempts to reason once more with the thickheaded clone but seeing no other option lightning style kawaki as tries to electrocute his twin.then The other clone growls before flying up to the ceiling, smashing kawaki into it. The clone then smashed kawaki into the wall again, before grabbing him and throwing him into the floor. To finish, it off, the angered clone landed his feet on kawaki roughly, smashing him to unconsciousness and creating a small crater.
Seeing kawaki defeated, the superclone raises his fists and roars in victory. He looks at the shield on kawaki's shirt and turns to his reflection from a nearby door. Using his heat vision, he creates a poorly-done replica of the iconic otsuki symbol on his chest. Suddenly, a sharp piecing noise attacks the superclone's ears, groaning in pain before he too loses consciousness and slumps to the floor.
Kawaki groans as he re-awakens. His vision slowly regains as he remembers being beaten by the other superclone. However, his thoughts turned to panic when he finds out he is inside one of the incubation pods, wearing the white solar suit. "No, no, no!" Kawaki yells frantically before raising his fists and slamming it onto the glass, freeing himself.
Still weak, kawaki collapses as an alarm ran off. Gus and hunter kneels and assists kawaki back to his feet as Wolf howls from the noise. Immediately, Dr. Spence, citizen steel, and Dubbilex enter the room. "It's all right!" Spence said, trying to reassure the clone.
Kawaki growls at the doctor. "It's not all right, you put me in a pod!" Kawaki accused, pointing his finger at her.
"It was the fastest the way to heal you from your injuries." Spence responded.
Kawaki's eyes narrow. "She's another Cadmus mad scientist picking up where Desmond left off." He accused before walking towards the woman, glaring at her venomously. "Project Match is yours, admit it!" He growled as Gus and hunter had to use all their strength to prevent kawaki from taking another threatening step towards the woman while Gargle bashed his head against Spence's leg.
"On scale of one to ten for keeping Match secret," Gargle said as he started to write on some more paper. "Spence gets 1!"
Spence hugs her clipboard in fear before taking a step back. "Believe what you want." She responds weakly and turns to run away.
Citizen steel places a calming hand on kawaki's shoulder. "Ultra ninja, please. She was as shocked to see the security camera footage about this 'Match' as I was."
Kawaki calms down slightly but still fidgeted in anger. "Where is he now?" The clone demanded.
Citizen steel sighs. "We don't know. He… disappeared." The security chief said rather lamely.
Kawaki's eyes widen. "What?!" He exclaimed angrily.
"All cameras went offline after your battle. By the time we arrived, Match was gone." Dubbilex explained as gus nods.
"He really pounded you and hunter." Gus adds, earning an annoyed glare from kawaki. "Look! I tried to take him on, but he was too powerful, so I'm sorry!" Gus yelled angrily.
Citizen steel returned to more pressing matters. "Match isn't the only genomorph to disappear. We need to get to the bottom of this." He said as he and Dubbilex walk out of the room, leaving the six alone.
Kawaki sighs and looks at one of the console controls to find his clothes neatly folded for him. Just as he grabs the clothes, one of the screens turn on, revealing cobra commander . "So, the truth wasn't that hard after all. I assumed you suffered no permanent damage."
Kawaki frowns at the man in the screen. Was it his imagination or did he hear concern in cobra's voice? Kawaki shrugged it off. "Like you care." Ultra ninja replied bitterly. "Tell me what you know about Project Match."
"Very little, I know more about you. Alien DNA is notoriously difficult for human science to read. When you were created, the gaps in the sequences were bridged with orochimaru and tailed beast DNA, robbing you of your full At the last second,.." Ironblood explained as kawaki,hunter and gus's eyes widen at the discovery. "No flight,no heat vision,no full powered rinnegan et cetera."
"I'm part tailed Beast." Kawaki whispered in shock as both Gus and hunter were both speechless to say a word.
Baron gives a nod. "Yes, obviously your twin was created with full otsutsuki DNA. The missing sequences have apparently left Match unstable, insane." Cobra then leans forward toward the camera, his voice stern. "I'd advise you to get him back on ice as soon as possible."
Kawaki glares at cobra. "Not gonna happen." He responded, knowing he did not want his brother to share the same fate he did being locked up, like a lab rat.
Ironblood gives a barely audible sigh. "Your call; either way, you need help." As if on cue, a hidden compartment of the council opened up, revealing a handheld, metallic case with otsutsuki sign on top. "Consider these a gift." Kawaki lifts it and presses a button on the case, as the cover mechanically slid open, revealing several red shapes resembling otsutsuki symbol. "I call them 'Shields.' Stick one on your arm and it will suppress half of your otsutsuki DNA for about an hour, allowing your full tailed beast,rinnegan and sage mode powers to bloom." Ironblood instructs. "You will be as powerful as Match, as otsutsuki and Naruto."
"Highly illogical and impossible," gargle said. "Although I have a belief and a way for kawaki to do that right now in my head, I don't see it good for him to be using your 'shields' like drugs."
Hunter and kawaki both scowls at cobra. "I don't want anything from you." Kawaki replied. He could stop Match without using Ironblood's fancy toys.
The commander just seemed to grin. "Keep them anyway, you never know." He replies as the transmission ended, leaving kawaki,hunter and gus to digest the information they heard.
Gus was the first to speak. "This is just screwed up." He states as he slumps against the wall, his earlier enthusiasm quickly deteriorating.
Kawaki nods in agreement, as he keeps looking at the Shields cobra gave him. The clone lowers the Shields, and turns to gus and hunter. "I have to stop Match." He said, full of conviction.
Gus looked at them as though he were crazy. "How?! How can you possibly stop him? You couldn't stop him before…" He pauses when he realized kawaki kept looking at the Shields. "Oh no! Oh no! Don't tell me you're actually going to trust cobra?!" he said incredulously.
Kawaki bit his lip. "I don't have much of a choice. If he says these things can give me more power, then I have to." Kawaki said reluctantly. He really hated doing this, having to put down Match like a crazed animal. It made him sick.
Kawaki placed the Shields down and picked up his folded clothes. "Wait for me outside. Once I'm changed, we find Match." Kawaki orders as gus and hunter both nod, walking outside. With the doors shut, kawaki quickly changed into his T-shirt and jeans as he,hunter and Wolf caught up with Gus, the three of them ready to find Match.
Back at the dimensional patrol base.,
the dimensional patrol continued to talk about possible members, their list becoming progressively shorter. "Gambit." Batman announced, as the hologram of the elastic superhero appeared. Shazam l began laughing, but covered his mouth to smother his chuckles. Some League members gave glances at the captain but chose to ignore it.
Flash gave a disapproving shake of his head as he faced Batman. "I don't know, the guy's got a pretty substantial criminal record." The speedster replied.
Shazam seemed to lose all self-control as he laughs hysterically at the hologram of Plastic Man. Clearing his throat, he regained his composure. "Sorry, sorry. The guy just cracks me up." Shazam apologized, but glances nervously as every League member gives disapproving looks.
Flash sighs. "Maybe it's all time we talked about the elephant in the room." The speedster said, the elephant being Shazam. "Should Shazam stay a member now that we know he's really ten years old?" Rj asks, a hologram of the hero appearing, replacing Plastic Man.
"He does possess an adult body and the Wisdom of Solomon." Belos reasoned.
Black panther frowned. "Wisdom does not equal maturity." The wakandon king replied as Shazam began feeling offended directly in his face.
"Hey, I'm sitting right here!" Shazam protested, irritated at how the League is treating him.
Black widow gives a motherly grin. "Then Billy, maybe you should leave until we hashed this out." Assassin spy recommended.
Batman frowns and faces Black widow. "No, Shazam is a member and is entitled to participate until or unless he's voted out." The Dark Knight responded to the captain's defense.
Wonder Woman glares at Batman. "It's not just his age. It's the fact that he lied about it." The Amazonian responded, her glare shifting from Batman to Shazam.
The wizards champion looked hurt at these accusations. "I didn't lie, exactly. I just left out the part of being a kid." He replied sheepishly.
Wonder Woman's glare never wavered. "A lie of omission is still a lie. You kept an important secret from us. No one in the League knew the truth." She reprimanded.
"I did." Batman responded as some League members inwardly groaned at the truth of that statement.
"I shouldn't be surprised, since you indoctrinated nightwing into crime fighting when he was still robin at the ripe bold age of nine." Wonder Woman accused.
Batman's frown deepened at the Amazonian. Nightwing needed to help bring the men who murdered his family to justice." The Dark Knight responded.
Wonder Woman clenched her fists. "So he could turn out like you?"
Batman glared at the female hero. "So that he wouldn't." Batman retorted, ending the conversation and creating an uncomfortable silence in the air.
Wanting to break the tension, Flash coughed awkwardly. "So, um… let's go to the next candidate." He requested as the meeting continued, even though Wonder Woman gave Batman stern looks from time to time.
Back at cadmus
Kawaki,hunter,gus,and Wolf continued to investigate Match's disappearance, which Gabe then pulled out his phone and continued his recording for evidence. Kawaki sighs as he examines broken genomorph tanks from his fight with Match earlier.
"Well, at least these three are empty." Kawaki commented to gus and hunter, they turned to him, confused.
"Any leads?" Hunter asked, looking to Gargle, playing with some instruments to try and find Match as gus nods.
"Yeah, one." Kawaki replied and began a mental conversation with his genomorph brother. "All right, spill Dubbilex. When I accused Spence, I could hear your heart rate increase." The clone accused. "Stress, you're hiding something."
"From them, not you."Dubbilex responded. "I have questioned the oldest genomorphs. They tell me Match is not your younger brother. He was Cadmus' first attempt to clone os. His otsutsuki DNA rendered him uncontrollable, so they froze him and tried again."
Kawaki's eyes narrow at Dubbilex's answer. "Who are 'they'?"kawaki demanded. "Desmond, Spence?"
"Desmond yes, and his superior and Cadmus founder, Baron Ironblood Aka commander cobra."Dubbilex replied as kawaki's eyes widen in range. Grunting angrily, he punched at an empty cloning tank, shattering the glass and making Gus jump in surprise.
"What?" Hunter asked cautiously to kawaki, who was practically fuming in anger.
"It's Cobra." He growled. "Cobra authorized Match's creation and made him first. Then they froze him and tried again." Kawaki rasped dangerously at the truth.
Gus and hunter frowns at how right he was about the commander. "See, told you he's a sleazebag." The male witches replied bitterly.
Kawaki nods. "Yeah, he took Match too." He added before being interrupted by Dubbilex.
"Actually brother, I did that." Dubbilex said truthfully, as Kawaki's eyes widen in anger. Immediately, Kawaki ran out of the room, with Wolf,hunter and gus, as well as Gargle, now done, following him closely.
Panting, gus asked to Kawaki "Where are we going?"
Not looking back, Kawaki replies "Dubbilex took Match!"
Hunter's brow scrutinized in confusion. "Why?" Gus asked, genially unsure of a perfectly, good reason.
"Don't know." Kawaki replied, but he intended to find out. "Dubbilex, where is he?!"Kawaki yelled through his mental bond as they ran down the corridor.
"Turn left, brother."Dubbilex responded calmly as Kawaki took a sharp left turn into a hidden corridor, with hunter,gus and Wolf behind him. They entered the hallway only to find a dead end. Kawaki was going to tell Dubbilex there was nothing, but the sound of rumbling echoed beneath their feet. Suddenly, a hidden trapdoor opened up, revealing a set of stairs descending into underground below.
Gus gave raised his eyebrows. "A hidden stairway? Reminds me of the Temple when we first arrived there." Gus remarked as Kawaki descended first, with Wolf,hunter and gus following him. As they exited the stairs, what waited them inside was shocking to say the least.
The staircase lead to a large, underground tavern, with light being produced by genomorphs hung upside down on the ceiling like fireflies. Many other genomorphs are seen, some creating homes, others carrying food and supplies. It was then Kawaki realized that these were the missing genomorphs that citizen steel mentioned earlier. They were so shocked by the discovery; they didn't hear Dubbilex walk behind them.
"Welcome…" He proclaimed, gaining their attention. "…To Genomorph City."
Gargle squealed as he trudged up. "Hmm, scale of one to ten for underground city, Dubbilex gets a 3!"
"So you're responsible for the missing genomorphs." Kawaki concluded. With the three in temporary shock, Dubbilex offered them to show around the hidden city. Kawaki agreed, only because he wanted to find Match. Gus was secretly getting everything on his scroll with Gargle's eyes glowing as the two were now walking slower than Kawaki,hunter,Wolf, and Dubbilex.
Dubbilex sighed. "I liberated them, one-by-one, and brought them here, where all our brothers can be free." Dubbilex shifts his head at Kawaki as he continues speaking. "Of course, I have a dream that one day the world you live in will accept us. But for now, no one must know Genomorph City exists." Dubbilex stops as did the others. "Which is why I brought our brother here." He explains as he gestures his arm to a bounded Match, chained to a tree, as several genomes kept him from going violate through calm, mental waves telepathically.
Kawaki stood aghast. "What have you done to him?" He asked in shock as he walks toward Match.
"He is safe." Dubbilex reasoned. "The genomes keep him docile with their psychic abilities." He added placing a reassuring hand on Kawaki's shoulder.
Kawaki shrugged it off and glared at Dubbilex. "And the chains?" He demanded.
"Should he escape in his current condition, he could set back the genomorph cause by decades." Dubbilex explained, but his answer didn't seem to calm Kawaki, rather infuriate him even more.
"So you hold him prisoner like Cadmus held me and like nechros held hunter?" Kawaki replied venomously, glaring at Dubbilex. "You might as well put him in a pod."
Match blinks as he hears noise, looking upward to see Wolf,hunter,Gus, Dubbilex, and Kawaki, the latter two having a conversation. "Our primary goal is rehabilitation. We will release him when he is ready." Match heard Dubbilex say, not really understanding anything at all.
"That's not your call!" Kawaki yelled, showing the otsutsuki on his T-shirt. Immediately, Match roared as he broke the chains, charging Kawaki into a small rock formation, shattering it upon impact. Wolf once again charges to his mater's defense, attempting to bite Match in the arm, only for the unstable clone to pick Wolf with ease and throw him roughly on the ground.
Hunter casting an ice spell onto match,match quickly broke free,was about to send a strong punch at hunter but he used a magical shield to protect himself but match still destroyed it and sending hunter to The ceiling and hitting a stalagmite and he then lands on the ground.
Dubbilex steps forward as Match charges, roaring with rage. "Be calm."Dubbilex ordered telepathically as he sent mental waves to sooth Match. This only made the clone even angrier as he slammed his fist into the ground, sending Dubbilex flying into his genomorph brothers.
Match quickly regained his attention to Kawaki, who was about to stand, only for Match to use his heat vision on Kawaki, incinerating most of Kawaki's shirt.
"Ultra ninja!" Gus called out. He growled and performed a Light Kata. "Ravu, Seeker of Lightning!" Gus called out, summoning Ravu from the Light Civilization.
Match then charged Kawaki once more before grabbing and throwing Kawaki thirty feet, landing with battered grunts.
Ravu then sent a blast towards Match, sending him flying into the air.
"Hope Lilith doesn't need you any time soon." Gus said to Ravu as he turned around. "Your evolution gave you some advantages."
"I'm honored to along side you," Ravu said through the sound waves. "Now, I am willing to fight alongside another caring Duelist."
"Then we have to take down Match, fast!" Gus exclaimed. He sent a punch from his Gauntlet. "Ravu, Whirlwind, but keep it contained!"
Ravu nodded and spun his Staff around, hitting Match with large gusts of wind.
Match was relentless as he flew to avoid the attack. He dashed by Ravu and Gus and sent another left hook to Kawaki's face, sending him into a titled rock formation and obliterating it. With Kawaki on the ground, Match stepped on his chest before grabbing him and throwing him up in the air, only for Match to fly up and smash him down again.
With a groan, Kawaki stood up, realizing he felt something in his pocket. He looked inside and remembered he still had the Shields cobra told him about earlier. Kawaki narrows his eyes, contemplating of what to do quickly as Match roars and charges Kawaki once again.
The dimensional patrol base
The dimensional patrol meeting was near its end, most of the candidates being discussed for membership. As the League discussed age requirement in order to be nominated, Martian Manhunter stood from his seat. "You seem to have reached consensus that eighteen years is a suitable minimum age for joining the League. Yet what of Chris Morris? Though he is a biological adolescent by Martian standards, he told he was born forty-eight Earth years ago." The Martian hero stated.
"So what is the deciding factor, chronology or biology?" Scarlet asked his colleagues. "Take ultra ninja for example." The robot added as a hologram of the teen hero appeared.
Captain marvel nodded her head in agreement. "Exactly, he's less than a year old, does he have to wait seventeen more to stand beside us?" The assassin spy asked. Wonder Woman turned her head to Superman and supergirl, which the Kryptonian heroes looked away, their arms crossed and looking downward.
Batman's mouth tensed. "Regardless, we still have several more candidates to discuss. What of the Duel Masters?" the Dark Knight asked as holograms of pearl,Alice blight, black panther, rj belos and Gabe appeared.
"We swore to the Duel Masters that we would not reveal their secret to the Public," Camila pointed out. "I'm not sure about bringing them in and presenting them to the World just yet."
Camila nodded. "The Order of the Kaijudo Duel Masters is sacred," the queen of the boiling Isles said. "I made a promise to when used to be a duel master, to ensure the safety for them and their Duelists."
"Speaking of the Duelists,"Batwoman spoke up. "What do we do about Anne,Sasha,marcy and Darrel?" The god of thunder asked. "I mean, I know that they're about the same age as the realm defenders, but we can't go around with them and ensure the Public that nothing goes on when they're around, can we?"
"No, that would be known as scams and distrust," Supergirl said. "Unless the World faces a crisis that involves them for help, we can't open them up just yet."
Back at cadmus
Kawaki narrows his eyes at the Shields. Should he do it? He had to end this fight quickly before Match causes any more damage. Unfortunately, he took too long to decide as Match charged Kawaki into the ground, forcing him to drop the Shields.
Kawaki groans in pain as Match landed fist after fist, relentless in assault. Gus, who has been too afraid to move, finally snaps and performs yet another summoning Kata, this one for the Water Civilization.
"Aqua Chaser Rusulka!" Gus called out, summoning Rusulka from the Water Civilization.
Gargle then ran off, getting gus to grin before performing another Kata, aimed at Rusulka this time.
"Aqua Chaser Rusulka, Evolve!" he called out, sending a yellow flash of light towards Rusulka.
Rusulka was now more dragon-like with fangs and electricity crackling throughout the body. Rusulka charged at Match and sent a strong surge of Lightning, impacting Match's arm, but much to gus's surprise, not affecting him at all. Match growls as he releases Kawaki and quickly grabbed Rusulka by the throat, choking her two feet above the ground. Gabe's face quickly turns red as he ordered Ravu to attack and save Rusulka, not noticing his phone dropping to the ground in the process.
Kawaki watches the scene in horror. What is he, crazy?! He thought frantically before racing over towards the Shields. Picking the case up, he opened it before getting one of them and slapping it onto his arm. Instantly,Kawaki's eyes widen as he feels his power growing. Roaring, Kawaki charged Match, sending a powerful jab at the other clone's jaw, sending him flying back and crashing into a wall, releasing Rusulka who fell to the floor, now banishing back to the Water Civilization after returning to normal.
Enraged, Match charged Kawaki, slamming him against the wall and ready to throw a fist to his face. However, Kawaki caught his attack with ease,cracking the bones in Match's hand, who looked confused at what was happening. "My turn." Kawaki hissed opening his eye had changed into the rinnegan,sending Match flying with a powerful punch to the jaw and into the air for payback at almost killing gus and hunter also for hurting Gus's Creatures.
Undeterred, Match flew straight down to Kawaki, who flew up too, both colliding with each other and sending both back. Kawaki closed his eyes, expecting to fall down roughly, only to gasp when he realized he was flying off the ground!
Gus regained his Mana and felt his jaw go slack at the sight. Racing toward his phone as Gargle came back, he turned it on and began recording the fight.
While Kawaki was distracted, Match used his heat vision to laser off a rock spike and charged with it as battering ram. Kawaki was ready to retaliate with a punch, only to gasp as he shot heat vision out of his eyes, destroying the rock spike and looking up, his heat vision hitting the ceiling in the process. Shaking off the debris, Match charged Kawaki once again in the air, both not getting any significant hit on the other. Both clones attempted to use heat vision on the other, but Match won it, hitting Kawaki in the eyes, as he yells in pain. Using this as an advantage, Match attempted to grab Kawaki, only for Kawaki to grab Match and morphs his hand into a chakra cannon blasting match into the ground in anger. Match barely got up as Kawaki flew down and punched him back into the ground, punching him repeatedly and was about to blast him in the face with a chakra cannon with red chakra appearing around his body.
Match lost consciousness, causing Kawaki to stop. He stopped and looked to his hands before looking around, seeing damage done everywhere.
Kawaki panted as he looked at Gabe with hunter l leaning on his shoulder, realization hitting him when he saw citizen steel arrive with reinforcements Genomorph City. Kawaki's breathing slowed when he realized what he done, and how brutal his attacks where to Match. His eyes watered in sadness at what he did, his eyes turned back to normal and how the fight brought the attention of the entire Cadmus facility.
Gus gave Kawaki a pat on the back. "Hey, Kawaki, don't beat yourself up. It's okay." He said with reassurance, attempting to comfort the saddened clone. Guardian gave a stern glance at Dubbilex, which the genomorph lowered his head at being caught.
Match was quickly frozen once again, placed in a pod as his bruises were shown, even through the glass. Citizen steel, Kawaki,hunter,gus, and Spence watch the pod as citizen steel turns his head toward Kawaki.
"It has to be this way." Citizen steel reasoned as Kawaki frowned. "If you want to say goodbye, now would be the time."
Kawaki frowns as he steps forward, placing his hand on the frozen glass. "Goodbye, my brother." Kawaki whispers before leaving the room wordlessly, with Gus,hunter,Gargle and Wolf following him after the Duel Master finally got his gauntlet back from citizen steel. Neither of them made a sound as they walked back on the roof for the Supercycle.
Gargle then cleared his throat. "If this make ultra ninja feel any better," Gargle said as he took out a piece of paper. "10 for defeating Match?"
Kawaki chuckled and patted Gargle on the shoulder. "Thanks, Gargle," ultra ninja said. He then looked to the Box of Shields and handed it to hunter. "Hold onto this, please." He said.
Gargle looked to the Box before looking back to Kawaki. "Why?" he asked before noticing their flight path. "Wait, this isn't the way back to sanctum!"
"I know," Kawaki said. "Cobra put in a tracker, and we need to take care of him before he finds out about the sanctum."
Back at dimensional patrol base
"No other ideas?" Belos asked, the meeting now over. "Then here are our candidates for new or continued membership." He announced, each candidate's hologram appearing before the entire dimensional patrol.
"We've debated origin, gender, size, experience, age, temperament, and background." Batman announced as members of the League shift their heads at the holograms surrounding them. "But what is the fundamental criterion for membership?" The Dark Knight added before Wonder Woman took it from there.
"When all is said and done, the question must be, whom do we trust? Trust to fight beside us, trust to have our backs, trust to uphold the high standards and ideals of the dimensional patrol." The Amazonian spoke before, holographic computer screens appeared before each member.
"Time to vote." Supergirl announced, hoping the choices they will make will be wise and the future even brighter.
Meanwhile
Kawaki crosses his arms as he waits for Baron in Potomac Park, with hunter,Gus, Gargle and Wolf. Surely enough, cobra arrives in the white limo. Hearing cobra laugh made Kawaki angrier as he walks toward the commander.
"There was a tracker in the tin box you gave me." Kawaki hissed at Ironblood.
Ironblood's grin under his mask never wavered, it even seemed malicious. "Yes, I assume your friend used his sharingan." The commander added amused, looking nonchalant and leaning back on one of the doors of the limo, which only served to anger kawaki even further.
"You initiated the Cloning Projects!" Kawaki growled as hunter,gus and Gargle stepped forward as well, walking towards the two.
"I wanted naruto to meet his Match."Baron replied, grinning at the play of words he just did.
"And you used all of us to locate the missing genomorphs." Kawaki exclaimed as neither him nor Gus,hunter and Gargle notice cobra's bodyguard move quietly behind hunter,Gus and Gargle.
"A good businessman has to keep track of his assets." Ironblood replied calmly, before standing to his full height, looking Kawaki in the eyes. "But none of that really bothers you. Half your DNA is of mixed orochimaru, haven't you wondered who the donor was, or have you been afraid to acknowledge the obvious?" Hunter,gus and Gargle gulp; this doesn't sound good.
Ironblood's grin widens under his mask. "Face it, son, you have much more in common with me than naruto,sasuke or the otsutsuki." The billionaire states.
Hunter,gus and Gargle's eyes widen. "He's the donor." Gus breathes, trying not to believe it.
Kawaki looked like he was trying to do the same. "That's a lie!" He cried. I'm not like you snake, I'm the hero!
Baron frowns under his mask. "What has they given you? Nothing, not even affection." The billionaire retorted,
"Don't listen to him Kawaki!" Hunter yelled, trying not to let his friend be manipulated.
Yeah he's a liar gus said.
Ironblood ignores gus,hunter and Gargle's outburst and continued. "Face it son. You were created by the bad guys so there must be something wrong with you. But we both know life isn't that clear cut. The real world is full of grays. Weren't you determined to free Match at all costs, yet ultimately, you wisely agreed to my suggestion to refreeze him for the greater good of all? And though you think me a villain, you still accepted my Shields." Ironblood said as he ripped off the worn-out Shield on Kawaki's arm. "We're more alike than you care to admit."
Kawaki narrows his eyes at Baron before taking out the metallic cases. "Take 'em back." He demanded, only for Ironblood to raise his hands.
"They're a gift." The commander insisted, "From a father to his son."
Kawaki growled. That was the final straw. Grabbing Baron's uniform, he glared at him menacingly. "I won't need them for this." He threatened, ready to pummel Ironblood.
Baron smirks. "uchiha clan." The commander stated as kawaki's eyes widen, frozen in place.Ironblood smiled smugly as he undid his tie while gus,hunter and Gargle stared in horror.
"uchiha clan!" Hunter called out.
Instantly, ultra ninja came back into reality, hissing at commander cobra.
Baron Ironblood gasped and looked to hunter. "How could you know that?!" Baron Ironblood exclaimed.
"My 'mixed breed friend' here found out all about your shutdown code," gus said. "And he also found out that you've been working with Rook Industries for Evolution Serum for the nechros!"
"You really think you should be saying that to Loser?" Kawaki asked.
"He knew the whole time!" Gus then exclaimed. He reactivated his Gauntlet and performed a Fire Kata. "Tatsurion the Unchained!"
Tatsurion appeared from the Veil and saw Mercy prepare to attack. He quickly shot a missile at her, sending her to the bridge.
"Get him, Tatsurion!" Gus ordered. "He knows a member of the shadow coven!"
"You don't have to tell me twice." Tatsurion spat as he unsheathed a chain. With it, he swung at cobra and knocked him off of his feet.
Ironblood gasped and was felled to the ground. Mercy came over, damaged, and helped cobra up before he looked to Gus,hunter,Gargle, Kawaki and Tatsurion. "Don't think this is over." He said before he was placed in the limo. He was soon driven off and out of DC.
"Mercy, tell the others, I will be late for the meeting. If they ask what the problem is, just inform them I had… agendas to complete."Ironblood ordered as Mercy nods.
Kawaki glared at Baron Ironblood before the Supercycle came over. "Two words and he shut me down. What else can he make me do?" He said as he,hunter and gus got in while Tatsurion was sent back to the Fire Civilization, as Gargle was then sent back to the Water Civilization.
Back on the dimensional patrol base,
the voting finally ended. After hours of careful consideration, it was time to determine the candidates who are worthy to enter the Justice League. "All those in favor of ratifying the results?" Batman asks which all League members yelled "Aye!"
"All opposed?" Batman asked, as he looked to each hero. None of the League members refused. The Dark Knight nods, the meeting finally over. "Then we are adjourned."
At Nechros base
Baron Ironblood taking off his commander cobra mask revealing scarred and pale snake like face.
So the Evolution serum is complete toffee said.
Yes it's complete cobra said.
But we have another problem and it's my niece and her horrible friends,it's megatron leader of the decepticons,"demona said.
But first let's find the find the remains of brainiac king andrias said.
Baron Ironblood began to walk away when his comlink beeped, and voice of scrozzle came out.
"We're heeeere…" the little man said.
zhan tiri looked down at him, her eyes pleading while she was stuck in by bluebird using the miraculous power of bee from the new shadow coven mark sigil on her right arm.
lex lucore and bluebird shared a look that said yeah, right.
"Don't be afraid," lex lucore said in mock sympathy, "You still have a big role in my plan; in fact, I can't do this without you."
He then nodded to Sinestro, who struck Tala in the back of her head, knocking her out.
When zhan tiri came to, she found herself secured to the top of a large capsule-like device; all around her, the remaining villains were hard at work on various pieces of equipment. None of them even glanced at her, save for lex lucore.
"I used to think that magic was unknowable, unpredictable and not to be trusted," he said, "You've taught me so much, zhan tiri; even my skill of scientific and mystical knowledge will help me up to the task. You will be the mystic conduit that will siphon Brainiac's essences from the debris outside the ship; I'll be able to reconstitute him from that energy… but I doubt you'll survive the process."
"lex lucore," the nearby scrozzle said, "the collection panels have been deployed and are now in place."
"please don't!" zhan tiri was pleading, desperately trying to avoid death, "I beg you!"
"Hold that thought," lucore said, then turned to scrozzle, "Do it!"
scrozzle's hand hovering over the button.
Brainiac prepare to come back," scrozzle said, he then pressed the button.
zhan tiri screamed in agony as crackling energy crossed her body; the entire ship began to shake as the capsule underneath zhan tiri began to fill with light. The other members of the shadow coven gathered in the room; the excitement and anxiety was equally palpable.
Just a little bit longer, Brainiac, lex lucore thought, prepare to become one with another supreme intelligence!
When the capsule was completely filled, the light inside became too bright to look at directly; the only thing that could be seen was zhan tiri turning to dust. Just before that, however, a humanoid shape could be seen. Lucore grinned madly.
"Behold," he said, "a supreme 12th level intellect!"
The light faded, but no one was expecting what was inside the capsule.
Brainiac a tall, muscular-build, a bit large and humanoid green-skinned alien being with no hair. He has a cybernetic prosthetics and a protective armor warping his body, with little purple tubes around his head.
