In the Autobot base.
Team Prime was receiving a call from a certain special agent who was in a bit of a situation.
"Prime! Prime!" Agent coulson shouted as Optimus walked over to the main console.
"Agent coulson? To what do we owe-?" Optimus began asking.
"What else? Cons!" coulson told him before the scene showed his fighter jet laying in the middle of a grass field with smoke coming from the engines. "I chased them off with some hard ordnance, but not before they blew me out of the sky!"
"Heh. Again?" Gus asked with a chuckle.
"It seems to be a bad habit for him." Amity commented.
"They tried to smash and grab for the DINGUS." coulson said.
"The what's it?" Arcee asked, raising an eyebrow in confusion.
"Dynamic Nuclear Generation System, AKA DINGUS." Fowler explained before he showed a metallic box on screen. "It's a prototype energy source I'm transporting to the coast for testing."
"You humans sure give weird names to things." Hunter admitted to Luz.
"I guess it's just one of the more common stuff we do." Luz replied.
"That's absurd." Ratchet scoffed. "Why would Starscream bother with such primitive technology?"
"I'm guessing to make a big bad primitive weapon of mass destruction." coulson retorted. "If this baby were to meltdown, it would irradiate this state and the four next door."
"Uh, did Agent coulson say which state he was currently in?" Anne asked nervously.
"I don't think so. But I just hope it's not near Connecticut." Willow answered.
"I'm a sitting duck here, Prime. I need you to spin up your Bridge and send the DINGUS to it's destination before the Cons come back for it." coulson told the Autobot leader.
"I'm afraid that sending such a volatile device through a Ground Bridge is out of the question." Optimus said. "If there were to be an accident during it's transmission, the radiation of which you speak could propagate through the Ground Bridge vortex and harm all fifty states. And beyond."
"You got any better ideas?" coulson asked after thinking this info through.
"I'm sure he's got one." Jazz replied, looking at his leader with a smile.
few minutes later.
Optimus, Bumblebee,drift,hot rod,blurr,chromia Bulkhead,Cliffjumper,Wheeljack and Jazz in their vehicle modes. Optimus had the DINGUS safely kept in a trailer while coulson was sitting at his wheel, eager to try out some driving with the Autobot leader.
"Ah, no need, Agent coulson. I will handle the driving." Optimus assured, earning an annoyed sigh from the special agent.
"It's gonna be a long trip." coulson muttered.
The Autobots then started up their engines to get ready for the long road trip ahead of them.
"We're all set and ready, Optimus." Wheeljack said.
"Autobots, roll out!" Optimus ordered before they all started driving.
After a couple of minutes, the Autobots found the roadway that led to the DINGUS's drop off destination and drove along it.
"No sign of any Cons, yet." Cliffjumper informed.
"Just keep your eyes open, Cliff. You never know when they're gonna start blasting." Jazz replied.
Meanwhile at the base.
Ratchet and the realm defenders were monitoring Team Prime's progress on the main computer back inside the base.
"We are locked onto your coordinates, Optimus." Ratchet said. "Baring any complications, you should reach the drop off point by sundown."
"Unless the Decepticons decide to crash the party." Gus admitted.
"Try not to jinx it, Gus." Amity said with her arms crossed.
With the autobots.
As Optimus continued driving, he soon came to a halt in front of an outdated vehicle that was moving at a very slow pace. coulson began beeping Optimus' horn to try and get the rusty vehicle out of their way.
"Move it, Gramps!" coulson shouted.
After a few more beeps, the rusted vehicle finally moved to the side and allowed the Autobots to drive past it.
"Agent coulson, is that really necessary?" Optimus questioned.
"Aw, don't tell me you're one of them textbook drivers." coulson said before slumping back on his seat in annoyance.
As Team Prime continued on their transportation mission, they didn't know that someone was following them from a green helicopter.
"They're transporting it in an unarmed civilian truck." A male voice said over a radio channel. "Send in the ground units."
Team Prime was currently driving beside a mountain cliff, but coulson was starting to get a little bored so he decided to start up a conversation with Optimus.
"You know, you're saving my bacon here, Prime." Fowler said.
"I am proud to be of service." Optimus replied.
"Of course, not like I'd need your help if you and the Cons had stuck to tearing up your own corner of the Galaxy." coulson admitted.
"Are you suggesting that no evil existed on your world before we arrived?" Optimus asked.
"Uh… well, it was a… different evil." coulson said awkwardly. "How about some radio? You seem like a Nashville sound kind of guy."
However, coulson noticed the green helicopter that was secretly following them on Optimus' side mirror.
"That's the one! The Con who shot me down!" Fowler stated. "Who is he? Wingnut? Dingbat? Sky-Guy?"
"Watch your rear views." Cliffjumper warned on coulson's walkie-talkie.
coulson looked behind and saw that a bunch sports cars were driving up to them.
"I'm feeling a little constricted without the use of my fists here, boss." Bulkhead told Optimus.
"Remain in vehicle mode unless absolutely necessary." Optimus ordered.
Two of the cars drove right next to Bulkhead,chromia,hot rod,Cliffjumper and Wheeljack from behind Optimus, while the other one drove right in front of them.
"A whole team of Cons." coulson said.
At the autobot base.
"What? I'm not picking up anything." Ratchet admitted, listening in from the base. "They must be utilising a clocking technology."
"Can Decepticons really do that?" Willow asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Either that, or these guys aren't exactly what we think they are." Luz said in suspicion.
Back with Team Prime.
one of the green cars drove right past Optimus and it manoeuvred it's way in front of blurr,Bumblebee and Jazz. The three Autobots tried going around the green car, only for it to block their path at every turn.
"I'll say this, they don't want us going to where we've gotta go." Jazz commented.
"True." Bumblebee agreed.
Fast now your speaking my language blurr said.
coulson saw that another car was driving up the other side of Optimus. When it got right beside the special agent, the roof window opened up and standing from it was a male human with a mask and some kind of grey uniform, while also holding some kind of modifiers riffle.
"Pull over!" The soldier ordered.
"Well I'll be dipped!" coulson said in a surprised tone.
Back at the base.
"Our assailants are not Decepticons. They are human." Optimus told Ratchet and the realm defenders in the base.
"Human?" The children and Ratchet repeated in confusion.
"And they're seriously wanting to take on our bots?" Gus questioned, smiling confidently. "They'll be roadkill."
With team prime.
From in the helicopter, sitting next to the pilot was a man with short silver hair, a darkish-green and grey bodysuit and a scar on his face.
"Gentlemen, stop their engines." The scarred man ordered.
The soldier standing from the car was preparing to shoot Optimus, but the Autobot leader immediately bashed the vehicle and made him miss fire before slightly slowing down behind.
"Who are these guys?!" coulson questioned.
"Autobots, maintain your cover. And apply minimal force." Optimus instructed on the com-link. "Disarmament only."
When the same vehicle moved to Optimus' other side, Bumblebee reversed down the lane and bashed the enemy car from the front. The soldier attempted to fire his rifle at Bumblebee, but then Cliffjumper speeded up from behind and rammed straight into the vehicle. This caused it to swerve out of control and flip upside down, taking it out of the game.
"Mess with me and you get the horns!" Cliffjumper called out with a chuckle.
"Nice one, Cliff." Bumblebee complemented as Team Prime continued driving along the road.
"Those are not civilian drivers." The scarred man said, watching them from his helicopter.
As they came to a few turns, coulson started feeling a bit sick on the inside.
"Could use some air." coulson said weakly before Optimus lowered his window down, allowing him to poke his head out to try and feel better.
But then, coulson noticed another green car was driving right next to them and a soldier jumped out of it, landing on the area that connected Optimus to his trailer. He used his rifle to shoot out a small laser that was attempting to cut off the trailer.
"Prime, bare right!" coulson stated.
Optimus quickly moved over to the right and caused the soldier to nearly fall off while the car got bashed straight off the roadway, crashing onto the surface bellow. When the soldier regained his balance, he went back to cutting off the trailer so coulson decided to take action. He carefully got out Optimus' driver seat and climbed his way over to the soldier, grabbing him and holding him out into the open with his rifle falling away.
"You're gonna tell me everything I wanna know-!" coulson said firmly before the soldier suddenly got bashed away by a tree branch.
Seeing there's nothing else for him to do, coulson climbed back into the driver's seat and closed the door behind him, fastening up his seatbelt.
"I do hope you take better care of the DINGUS then you do your captives." The voice of the scarred man said on coulson's walkie-talkie, showing that he has hacked into it.
coulson grabbed his walkie-talkie and glared up at the helicopter the scarred man was riding in.
"Special Agent coulson, here! Identity yourself!" Fowler demanded.
"I am Silas. But of greater consequence to you, we awe M.E.C.H." The scarred man, now identified as Silas, said. "Fair warning, we will be helping ourselves to your device. Even if it means inflicting casualties."
"Is that so?" coulson asked with a scowl. "Tell me, Si, what's the market price for a DINGUS these days?"
"What makes you think we intend to sell it, coulson?" Silas asked rhetorically, making coulson realise that he plans to use the DINGUS for something much worse. "There's a war brewing, between the new world order and the newest. The victor will be the side armed with the most innovated technology."
coulson saw another M.E.C.H car moving behind Optimus as a soldier stepped out with a rifle in his hands. He shot three mines onto the trailer door and pressed a button on the rifle, causing the mines to emit electricity that made the door burst open and reveal the DINGUS inside.
The soldier was attempting to get out the car and get inside the trailer, but Fowler and Team Prime had a contingency plan for this.
"So, Si, you think M.E.C.H has all the most radical tech?" coulson asked with a smirk.
Suddenly, Arcee drove out of the trailer with her hologram displayed and she wheeled right onto the soldier's face, causing him and the M.E.C.H car to fall down onto the road, crash into another and make it explode as the female Autobot speeded up to join the others.
"Definitely not civilian drivers." The helicopter pilot admitted while observing everything with Silas.
"Later, Si." coulson said before hanging up on his walkie-talkie.
"Agent coulson, do not take your Silas lightly." Optimus warned. "Megatron preached the very same ideology before into the Great War that destroyed our world."
"Well, I doubt a single human could end up destroying a whole planet just by starting a war." Wheeljack said reassuringly, overhearing him on the com-link. "Megatron was ten times the bad guy this Silas is."
"Can't believe I'm saying this, but he's actually got a good point, Prime." coulson admitted.
"Optimus, prepare to initiate phase two." Ratchet informed at the Autobot base. "Five miles ahead to the south, you will reach the rendezvous point."
On the nemesis.
Unfortunately, Soundwave had intercepted the Autobot medic's communication on the Nemesis and was displaying it to Starscream and the other Decepticons.
"Five miles ahead to the south, you will reach the rendezvous point." Ratchet's voice said.
"So, the Autobots are outside the confines of their base, and sound otherwise engaged." Starscream said with a smirk. "Which means they will never see us coming."
"Ha! I didn't think the Autobots would be having so much trouble with a bunch of puny humans!" Brawl chuckled mockingly.
"Permission to take an aerial squad to their location and deliver an unsuspecting attack to them, Scream?" Skywarp asked.
"Permission granted for you and Thundercracker, Skywarp." Starscream replied before turning to a squad of air Vehicons. "Find them and scrap them!"
"Yes, Lord Starscream." The Vehicons said with a bow, making Starscream chuckle at the fact he was now fully in command of the Decepticon army.
Back with Team Prime.
they were still being pursued by M.E.C.H as they were now driving next to a railway track with a train approaching from the side.
"There's our destination point." Fowler said, looking to where the train was going.
"Autobots, keep a tight formation." Optimus advised before they all drove off the roadway and followed after the train.
The M.E.C.H drove onto the railroad as well to continue pursuing them. But when the Autobots reached a tunnel, Bulkhead and Wheeljack quickly transformed into their robot forms and pulled out their blasters before shooting the top of the entrance, causing some rubble to fall down and block the M.E.C.H cars from following them.
"And I don't think they spotted us." Wheeljack said with a satisfying smile.
"Definitely." Bulkhead agreed before they both transformed and drove after their teammates.
As the Autobots drove right next to the train, Arcee and Cliffjumper got inside Optimus' trailer while Bumblebee transformed and jumped onto the train, knocking on one of it's cart doors.
Silas was continuing to watch everything from above in his helicopter as he knew exactly where Team Prime was gonna appear from the tunnel.
"Tactical error. Only one way out." Silas said with a smirk.
His point was proven when the Autobots drove out of the tunnel's other side and moved away from the train to another area of the mountains. But then, Silas and the pilot saw Thundercracker, Skywarp and a bunch of aerial Vehicons arriving beside them and they flew ahead.
"Sorry, human, but they're ours to destroy!" Thundercracker declared.
"Air support?" coulson asked, noticing the Decepticons in the air. "Ours or theirs?"
"Optimus, you have company." Ratchet warned from the base.
"And it's not the good kind, either!" Luz stated worriedly.
"Decepticons, open fire!" Skywarp ordered.
The two Seekers and the Vehicons fired a bunch of missiles at Team Prime, much to Silas' shock and confusion.
"Military fired on one of their own?" He asked.
The Autobots immediately turned themselves to the right, but this also caused Optimus' trailer to detach from him.
"Sir, the DINGUS!" The pilot exclaimed, knowing the amount of damage it could cause if the missiles hit it.
All of the missiles struck the trailer and destroyed it in a huge explosion, but there was no sign of any dangerous radiation in it.
"Sir… I'm not reading any radiation." The pilot told Silas. "The DINGUS didn't melt down."
"No. It did not." Silas said in suspicion.
When the Autobots halted themselves at a cliffside, Thundercracker, Skywarp and the Vehicons transformed into their robot forms and landed in front of their enemies.
"Looks like it's the end of the road for you, Autobots." Skywarp snickered, while Thundercracker smiled maliciously at them.
Knowing that there was no other way out of this, Optimus had to come to the only solution to this coming battle.
"Agent coulson, I'm afraid that if you and we are to survive, it has become absolutely necessary to drop our cover." Optimus told the special agent, making him realise what he was about to do.
Optimus then transformed into vehicle form and looked to coulson, who was sitting in his hand and looking just about ready to throw up. Arcee,chromia,blurr,hot rod,drift,Bulkhead, Bumblebee, Cliffjumper, Wheeljack and Jazz also transformed and got into a fighting stance.
"So, the rumours are true." Silas said, looking down at the Autobots with great interest. "Living technology stands before us. Though, perhaps not for very long."
As the Autobots and Decepticons stared each other down, Optimus knew that coulson wasn't safe in this situation.
"Remain here." Optimus instructed before placing Fowler on a nearby cliffside.
"Will do." coulson replied.
"You all must be so tired after being chased around by humans all day." Thundercracker said with a smirk. "Why don't we put you down to rest, permanently?"
"That ain't gonna happen, fly boy." Jazz answered with a firm expression.
"After a long road trip, it feels good to get out of the car, stretch my legs and kick some tailpipe!" Bulkhead said eagerly, smashing his fists together.
"Let's do this, here and now!" Cliffjumper stated.
Team Prime then charged at Thundercracker, Skywarp and the Vehicons, who did the exact same thing as a massive battle erupted between both Cybertronian factions. As Optimus, Arcee, Bulkhead,hot rod,chromia,Bumblebee,blurr and Cliffjumper delivered some strikes to the Vehicons, drift,Wheeljack and Jazz were busy fighting with Thundercracker and Skywarp. The swordsman samurai used his sword to clash with Thundercracker' claws, while Jazz and blurr was avoiding Skywarp's blaster shots.
When drift did a back flip to avoid another incoming strike, he swiftly tossed his right sword at Thundercracker and it hit him on the chest. Thundercracker shouted in pain from the sharp blade as Wheeljack rushed forward and then kicked him in the face, making him crash against the surface.
"You're better off fighting in the air, Thundercracker." Wheeljack said, picking up his sword. "Down here, you're really rusty."
"I'll show you rusty, drift!" Thundercracker shouted as he got back up and charged at him.
On Jazz and blurr's end, he saw Skywarp firing one of his wrist missiles at them and quickly jumped over it before jazz grabbing the missile with his energy grapple. As Jazz landed back down, he tossed the missile right back at Skywarp and it blew him away upon hitting him.
Nice shot blurr said.
"I could do this all day, pal! But you're obviously not gonna last long!" Jazz stated with a cool smirk.
However, Skywarp got back up and chuckled evilly before he suddenly teleported away in a purple flash. Jazz gasped in surprise as he looked around for the purple Seeker, only for him to show up behind and punch Jazz from behind, making him crash down with a painfully groan.
"Scrap! I forgot he could do that!" Jazz scowled, standing back up.
"That's the last mistake you're going to make!" Skywarp replied before they charged right at each other.
No this is drift said charging at skywarp stabbing his right arm.
As the Autobots and Decepticons kept on battling, Silas was still observing them from above in his helicopter.
"Sir, if the DINGUS wasn't in the truck…" The pilot began to say, making sure his boss hadn't forgotten their true mission.
"Yes, that." Silas replied before pressing a console button, allowing him to patch through coulson's walkie-talkie again. "Special Agent coulson, you lead a charmed life walking among titans.
Fowler heard him and held his walkie-talkie to his ear, looking up at Silas' chopper.
"Come on down. I'll introduce you." coulson offered.
"In good time. But at the moment, I'm too busy wondering how the DINGUS might have vanished into thin air without a trace." Silas told him, looking at a purple dot on the helicopter's screen map.
When Fowler heard him, he began having a flashback to what happened when he and Team Prime were in the train tunnel.
(Flashback)
The flashback starts with Bumblebee transforming into robot form and then leaping onto the train, knocking on the cart's door like before. The door opened to reveal a soldier on the other side, seeing Bumblebee on the top waving at him.
Optimus' trailer shifted itself completely open to reveal Arcee and Cliffjumper inside it while carrying the DINGUS. They both handed it to Bulkhead, who in turn gave it to Bumblebee as he carefully placed the radioactive energy source inside the cart with the soldier.
When the cart door closed, Arcee,chromia,hot rod,Bulkhead, Bumblebee and Cliffjumper transformed back into their vehicle forms and joined Optimus,blurr,drift,Wheeljack and Jazz as they all made it out the tunnel.
(End flashback)
"Now if you'll excuse me, I have a train to catch." Silas said before hanging up on coulson, who's eyes widened as he realised that the leader of M.E.C.H had figured out their diversion plan.
Seeing the helicopter fly to where the train was going, Fowler knew he needed to inform Optimus.
"Prime!" coulson called out on his radio to the Autobot leader, who was still busy fighting some Vehicons. "Silas got wise to phase two!"
"I understand!" Optimus replied before he suddenly got bashed in the head by a Vehicon who was holding a tree.
Optimus fell down the cliffside and crashed onto an edge, groaning in pain before he lost consciousness.
"Prime! Do you read me?!" coulson asked desperately. "Prime!"
The Autobots knew that their leader was out of battle, but they couldn't do anything to stop Silas due to the Decepticons still fighting them.
"Looks like your precious leader is down for the count!" Skywarp mocked.
"That just leaves you six!" Thundercracker added before they all attacked the Autobots.
At the autobot base
Ratchet and the realm defenders heard everything from the base and started getting nervous about the current situation.
"Optimus is down!" Amity stated worriedly.
"M.E.C.H's going to get the DINGUS!" Hunter added. "We need to think of something, right now!"
"So, like some sort of phase three?" Anne questioned.
"I'm okay with that." Willow said. "What should we do?"
"Okay, let's all think. If M.E.C.H wants the DINGUS, they need to get on that train." Luz told everyone, thinking carefully for their contingency plan.
"How about some of us Ground Bridge onto the train and guard the DINGUS from M.E.C.H before they can get to it?" Gus suggested.
"Absolutely not." Ratchet said firmly.
"Yeah, Gus. That would be suicide." Hunter said in agreement.
"If we tried getting onto that train, we'd either just fall off or get run over by it." Amity told the Illusionist witch.
"But, guys, this is a really extreme situation we're currently in!" Gus protested. "Lives are at stake!"
"Yes, yours! You want me to not only Bridge you into a confined space, but one travelling at ninety miles per hour?!" Ratchet questioned. "I can't even count the number of ways that can go wrong. Mass displacement trauma. Twisted limbs. Metal burn."
That last thing he said made the Hexside Squad stare at him in confusion.
"Well, maybe not the last one." Ratchet admitted. "Regardless, it is nearly impossible to fix Ground Bridge coordinates on something moving at that speed."
"Would it help if we had access to the train's coordinates?" Chris asked while typing on his laptop.
He showed an image of the train's current position on the main console.
"Well…" Ratchet said as he put this into consideration.
"Come on, guys. We have magic on our side. These people only specialise in tech." Gus reminded. "They'll never expect us to be using they've never seen before."
"You know what, Gus? That's a pretty good point." Luz told him, smiling a bit.
"Yeah. I guess we should show M.E.C.H what a little bit of magic can do." Willow added who.e tightening her fist eagerly.
The train.
As the train continued on it's course to the DINGUS's destination, Silas' helicopter finally caught up to it.
"Immobilise them." Silas ordered.
A soldier in the backseat aimed his rifle at the train and fired a mine straight onto it. When the mine stuck itself on, it emitted a large wave of electricity that coursed it's way through the entire train. The soldier riding inside it was electrocuted in the process and yelped in shock before collapsing.
Just then, a Ground Bridge opened up in the cart that contained the DINGUS and Luz,kim,Amity,Anne,Willow and Hunter jumped out of it while feeling a little woozy.
"I'm not sure if I'll ever get used to that." Willow admitted.
"Okay, we're in." Luz said to the others back at base through her gauntlet.
"I read you, Luz." Chris replied. "Looks like the cellphone com-link patch works, after all."
"It sure does." Gus agreed.
When the six children heard helicopter noises, Hunter opened the door to let them see Silas' helicopter attempting to land on the train.
"Chris,M.E.C.H's landing ontop of the train." Hunter told the young Basilisk.
Back at the base
"In about twenty seconds, you're gonna come up to a fork." Chris informed while working on her laptop. "Brace yourselves."
"And try not to get flung off the train." Gus warned.
"We'll definitely make sure that doesn't happen." Amity said.
The helicopter was nearly about to land on the train. But when it arrived at the fork in the railroad, Chris pressed a button and the tracks immediately made the train switch directions, causing the helicopter to stir right off it.
"What happened?!" Silas demanded.
"Hacker." The pilot answered before pressing a button on the console. "Former hacker."
Back at the base.
Suddenly, the main screen showed a bomb explosion and this meant that Chris was cut off from the main system due to M.E.C.H counter her hack skills.
"What?!" Chris and Gus asked in shock before the laptop started smoking in front of them.
"And what have I been saying all along about Earth technology?" Ratchet asked himself.
Back on the train.
When the helicopter caught up to the train, it was able to successfully land on it. When Luz,kim,Anne,Amity, Willow and Hunter heard this, they looked up to see that M.E.C.H soldiers were starting to cut a hole in the cart roof.
"What did that buy us? Ten seconds?" Willow asked rhetorically.
"I think Chris is losing his touch." Amity admitted.
"Still, that doesn't mean we can't put up a good fight." Luz told her friends before taking out a set of Glyph cards and kim did the same thing.
Back with the Autobots.
Bulkhead was able to shove away a bunch of Vehicons that were piling onto him, while hot rod,chromia,Arcee and Cliffjumper shot some of them down with their blasters. Bumblebee was helping drift,blurr,Wheeljack and Jazz take on Thundercracker and Skywarp as they were proven to be getting the upper hand on the two Seekers, knocking them back with a combined strike.
"Don't you Autobots ever die?!" Skywarp asked in complaint.
"Not at all!" Wheeljack answered.
As the fighting continued, Optimus finally managed to regain consciousness and shook his head to regain focus before he noticed the train driving on the lower surface, with Silas' helicopter ontop of it.
The train.
Luz,Anne,kim,amity, Willow and Hunter readied themselves as the M.E.C.H soldiers finished cutting through the roof and pushed the piece down, walking up to the hole and noticing the four children.
"If you want this thing, you're gonna have to beat us!" Willow stated with a glare.
"What she said!" Hunter added.
"But we're warning you not to underestimate us!" Luz told the soldiers.
The soldiers simply looked at each other for a moment before they aimed their rifles towards the four children.
"Have it your way." Amity said with a sly smile before she and Willow made a magic circle each.
Before the M.E.C.H soldiers could open fire, they were grabbed from behind by a huge Abomination hand,a bunch of vines and scream of sand,before being tossed right in front of the helicopter, where Silas was very stunned by what he witnessed.
"What on Earth was that?!" He questioned.
"I… I don't know, sir." The pilot replied, just as shocked as he was.
Just then, kim showed up from the hole on a tower of vines that were summoned by Willow and she held her Glyphs tightly. The M.E.C.H soldiers got back up and turned towards the hybrid.
"Hey, jerks! Have a taste of some magic!" Kim shouted before using a Light Glyph to blind the three soldiers.
With their eyes out of commission, Luz used Luz used her speed to to grab the soldiers guns then used an Ice spell to summon a giant ice pillar that launched the soldiers into the air with a loud scream. Kim then used a wind glyph to blast the soldiers in mid air and they landed beside the helicopter with painful groans each.
"Did that girl just say… magic?" Silas asked with a raised eyebrow.
"She did, sir." The pilot answered. "But, that can't actually be real, right?"
"It shouldn't. But I think we might have been proven wrong." Silas replied, now getting interested in the magic powers Luz and kim just displayed in front of him.
When Luz and kim lowered back down, her friends walked up to her to hear what had happened.
"Did you get them, Luz and kim?" Amity asked.
"Yeah. I just hope that it was enough to convince them to leave." Luz said.
As Silas was thinking of a counter strategy for Luz and her friends' magic, the pilot noticed a certain someone on the other side.
"Sir." He told his boss.
Silas looked at his direction and he saw Optimus rushing across the cliffside before he transformed into vehicle form, driving straight after them.
"Retreat." Silas ordered begrudgingly.
When the M.E.C.H soldiers got back inside, the pilot steered the helicopter upwards and flew it off the train. Luz,Anne,kim,Amity, Willow and Hunter looked out the cart to see that their foes have retreated.
"Looks like you did it, Luz and kim." Hunter said with a satisfied smile.
"Yeah. We sent those goons packing." Willow commented.
"I'm not exactly sure about that." Anne admitted in concern.
"First rule of combat, never leave the enemy with the spoils." Silas said before grabbing a rifle and climbing out the open window.
He aimed his weapon ahead of the train and fired a missile straight at the tracks, causing a giant hole to appear where it had struck. When the six children saw this, they all gasped in worridness.
"That's not good!" Amity exclaimed.
And then Silas fired another but this one hit the not blowing it up but instead it was an electric ball scrabbling the realm defenders gauntlet portal functions and everything else except com link.
And that's worse kim said.
"Ratchet, M.E.C.H blew the train tracks!" Luz told the Autobot medic on her gauntlet. "You need to Bridge us out of here! Along with the soldiers!"
Back at the base.
"We've lost access to the train data!" Ratchet replied as Chris and Gus were having trouble repairing the smoking laptop. "I can't Bridge you back without your coordinates!"
On the train.
Hearing this made Luz,kim,Anne,Amity, Willow and Hunter very worried as they didn't know what to do in this situation. Optimus continued driving after the train with all the speed he had.
"Optimus! Luz,kim,Anne,Amity,Willow and Hunter are on that train and M.E.C.H has blown the tracks!" Ratchet told him.
"I'm on my way! Maximum Overdrive!" Optimus shouted before he went even faster to save his young comrades.
"I can't believe we didn't decide to bring our staffs with us!" Amity stated in complaint as she and the others were trying to think of an escape plan.
What me and luz super seed us out of here but we have enough strength to carry you,the soldiers or the DINGUS out of here in time anne said.
"Maybe we should just try jumping off?" Willow asked.
"On something that's moving ninety miles per hour?" Luz asked rhetorically.
"It's either that or we end up getting killed in a train crash." Hunter admitted.
"What in Titan were thinking volunteering for this?" Amity asked with a frustrated sigh.
"Next time, we should think about not agreeing with one of Gus' plans." Willow said.
"Next time." Luz muttered in depression. "I'm so sorry I got you guys dragged into this."
"Hey, we wanted to come." Hunter replied reassuringly. "None of this is because of you."
"Hunter's right. We'd follow you anywhere." Amity added.
"Yeah. At least we got to be with each other for one last time, sweet potato." Luz said with a sweet smile before she and Amity hugged each other tightly.
"Same here, Luz." Amity replied.
Willow activates her gauntlets Communication "Ratchet, this is really important!" Willow stated. "Make sure Bulkhead takes care of Clover for me and him tell my family and Apollo I love them."
But then, the six children heard an engine outside and quickly looked to see Optimus driving past them towards the front of the train.
"I don't think we should read the will yet, guys!" Luz told her friends.
With team prime.
Hot rod,drift,Bulkhead and Wheeljack took down the last Vehicons with their weapons, Thundercracker and Skywarp found out that they were now outmatched.
"You win this time, Autobots! But next time will be different!" Thundercracker said angrily.
"We'll be back and you'll all be scrap!" Skywarp declared before they both transformed and flew away.
"Not anytime, soon." Jazz said with his arms crossed.
"We sure showed them." Cliffjumper said, giving Bumblebee a high five.
"Definitely." The yellow Autobot agreed.
"Where's Optimus?" Arcee asked.
"He had a train to catch." Fowler answered, looking to where the Autobot leader had left.
With Optimus.
Optimus quickly transformed and rushed towards the front of the train before grabbing it and digging his feet into the ground to try and stop it from reaching the crater in the railroad. Luz, Amity,Anne,kim,Willow and Hunter held onto each other tightly as Optimus shouted out with all his might.
Just when it looked like the train was about to hit the crater, Optimus successfully managed to stop it and prevent any casualties. He then went over to the crate and found the six children to be completely safe.
"Thanks for the save, Optimus." Luz said with a relived smile.
"You're a literal life saver." Amity added, holding her girlfriend's hand tightly.
However, Optimus heard some familiar rotor noises and looked up to see Silas' helicopter flying above them.
"Well played, visitor." Silas said, looking at some schematics of Optimus on the console screen. "But M.E.C.H still has home field advantage and we will find a way to level that playing field. Even if we have to open you up to see what makes you tick. And one day, we'll find out the secrets of this so-called magic and put it to good use."
With that said, the helicopter flew away from the area to deliver Silas and his troops to their base of operations, wherever on Earth that was.
"I doubt we've seen the last of them." Willow admitted, glaring at where Silas' helicopter went.
"True." Hunter agreed.
"Optimus, are you and the children… intact?" Ratchet asked on the com-link.
"Intact, Ratchet. Crisis averted." Optimus said with a nod as Luz happily spun Amity around in the air, while kim,Anne,Willow and Hunter simply smiled at each other for their close call. "But the world in which we live is a different one than previously imagined. One which had spawned it's own Decepticons. In human skin.
