Hello dear readers! I'm starting this story so that I have something to write as I take a break from Hero Leveling. I found a nice little show during my vacation called "Totally Spies", and thought I could make a cool story out of it. Don't worry though, I still have plenty of ideas I want to make real for Hero Leveling, so I'm far from quitting it. One final side note, I don't mention it at the beginning of the chapter, but the MC is 16 in this chapter. Without further ado, please enjoy!

CHAPTER ONE: S CLASS SPY

"And that is why I have built this death laser to destroy the planet!" Dr. Mallum began laughing viciously as he pressed a button on his remote, activating the orbital station's laser cannon at the Earth. He was a WOOHP scientist that created a laser with the ability to evaporate human bodies. Jason doesn't know where he thought he was going with that little "passion project", but when the laser was taken away, he attempted to steal it back and destroy WOOHP. After a quick incarceration for 10 years, he broke out and somehow found the funding to build a space station with a large-scale death ray on it.

"Heh. Okay buddy, here's a little rhyme I came up with just now. Roses are red, there's something about you that I can't stand, don't watch the mouth, watch the hands!"

Jason's restraint suddenly came loose, allowing him to gracefully land on the floor and smirk at Dr. Mallum's confusion. Jason had used a hidden blade in his spy suit's sleeve to cut the ropes tying him to the ceiling, although he would never tell the scientist about that. Jason's attire looked like an ordinary business suit, but it actually held many different tricks that couldn't be seen by the naked eye. Or by metal detectors, for that matter. Jason took no time at all using the grappling hook in his left sleeve to shoot up towards the doctor's viewing platform, propelling himself off of the control panel and landing one good kick at his face and knocking him out cold.

"Okay then, how exactly do I turn all of this off?" The control panel would be complicated enough to figure out with all of its levers, buttons, and LED display screens, if it weren't for the fact it was written in some kind of code. 'Hmmm… it's situations like this where I must rely on my wits to get me through…'

With that in mind, Jason throws his upper body onto the control panel and just starts sliding across it, pressing buttons and pulling levers as he goes back and forth. After a few seconds of hearing "self destruct sequence activating", the robot voice finally announces that the death ray has been shut off. And true to its word, the red light outside the station's windows dims down and shuts off completely. Looking at his handy work, Jason chuckles to himself and says; "The greatest spy to ever live." Jason's celebration is cut short however when he hears a ding come from the elevator behind him.

He whirls around to see Dr. Mallum inside with a 44 magnum pointed straight between Jason's eyebrows. "You may have shut off the laser, but you haven't captured me yet!" Blood is gushing out of the doctor's nose, but other than that, he seems pretty chipper for somehow who just got their ass handed to them. As the elevator doors close, Dr. Mallum fires a bullet, which Jason was able to predict and subsequently dodge.

"Well… shit. Guess I'm chasing after him."

Jason uses the control panel to see if anyone else is on board before activating the self-destruct sequence again and running over to the window. As the countdown begins, he places a suction cup on the window and presses a button on it, causing a small laser to pop out and begin cutting through the glass. Then, he pushes a button on his suit's collar, which activates its built in space helmet. Once the glass has been cut through, Jason positions himself correctly and pushes on it, causing him to be blown out into the vacuum of space.

Far ahead of him, he sees the doctor's escape pod rocketing towards Earth. His suit's jetpack normally wouldn't get him there fast enough, but that's when Jason's plan comes to fruition. The space station explodes, blasting Jason through space and directly towards the escape pod. "WHOO HOO HOO!" Jason lands on the escape pod with a thud, alerting the doctor to his presence. The doctor begins frantically looking around, before a knock on the glass reveals Jason just on the other side. He waves hello to the scientist, who in turn throws up his hands in surrender. "Aw, dammit."

As the escape pod lands on the ground comfortably, WOOHP helicopters fly in and land not too far away, allowing the agents inside to run up and cuff the mad scientist, as well as check for any debris in the area. Jason looks back up at the sky and sees the fireball that used to be the space station. It's an awe-striking sight against the light blue/orange sky of the early morning. The sun has just begun to rise, and a new day begins for the world's greatest spy. As Jason is admiring the view, a familiar voice comes from behind.

"Congratulations, agent. Yet another job well done."

Jason turns around to greet his boss; Jerry Lewis. Jerry is the founder and current head of WOOHP: The World Organization Of Human Protection. Jerry used to be a top spy back in his day, but has since left the position behind in favor of making the arrests and filing the tax forms. He would never admit, but he did it because he's old. "Well, if it isn't my favorite British bloke. I believe the proper term would be "S Class Spy", but I'll also take "The Greatest Spy To Ever Live."

"Yes yes, whatever you say. Go back home and get some rest, agent. I have no doubt your next mission may be even more hectic than this one."

"Yes sir!" With a joking salute, Jason taps his wrist watch a couple times, causing a small black jet to appear quickly and land on the ground. After climbing inside the cockpit, Jason waves goodbye to Jerry and closes the windshield, taking his jet into the air and flying back home.

After three hours of flying (and occasionally goofing off), Jason finally arrives in the sky above Greensboro, North Carolina. He presses a few buttons and waits, eventually nodding when he hears that autopilot has been engaged. After being assured that the plane will fly back to WOOHP headquarters on its own, he opens the windshield and jumps out. As the jet turns around and blasts off, Jason plummets to the ground before activating his parachute, safely landing on the Airport's runway just outside the hangar. The airport is secretly being run by WOOHP, so nobody questions it when Jason asks for "the usual".

The usual is a black and white 1960 DeSoto Adventurer. The car is outfitted with a bunch of high-tech spy gear on the inside, although it looks normal on the outside. It has a roof, although the roof has been put down for now. After the car is brought out, Jason thanks the agent for his service and begins cruising with style. With the top down, Jason can feel the cool, morning breeze blowing past him as he drives down the highway. After a 15 minute drive, he parks the Desoto in the garage of his one story suburban home.

With all of the money he gets from being "the greatest spy to have ever lived", Jason could have afforded a house in a place like Beverly Hills, but he had decided to just get a nice little home. 'I don't need luxury to be happy', is what he said. Even so, he had two bookshelves of expensive lego sets. He found that building lego sets was a nice way to get his mind off of the world ending implications of a death ray, so whenever he could, he would buy a lego set and build it in his free time. This led to his bookshelves being filled with cool sets mimicking different items from the past century.

This list included a polaroid camera, an Atari gaming system, a retro radio from the 50's, etc. Walking past the bookshelves, Jason sets his back on the ground and sits down on the couch, sighing heavily as he does so. He had to jump up in the middle of the night to complete that mission, so getting a few hours of sleep was the only thing on his mind right now. After kicking off his shoes and taking off his jacket, he jumped into bed and curled up under the warm blanket. After finding just the right spot, his eyes close, and his mind once again returns to slumber…

Jason suddenly awoke to a strange beeping sound in his bedroom. Disoriented from just being asleep, he attempted to listen closely in order to determine where the beeping came from. Say what you want about Jason's carefree, laid back attitude, no one could say he didn't show up when he needed to. "Wait a minute-" Jason's sudden realization came to a sudden halt when the end of his bed opened up, sliding down into the new hatch that just opened up in his wall.

"DAMMM IIIIIIT!"

Jason began sliding down one of WOOHP's many network tunnels throughout the US, eventually opening up into the Greensboro division's receiver room. Just on the other side of the opening was a soft cushion for landing on, although Jason just bounced off of it and landed hard on the floor. "Hello agent, I trust you had a good fall?" Jerry's stupid joke was met with a harsh glare. Checking his wrist watch, Jason noted that he only received 3 hours of sleep.

"I think you reduced my tailbone to a nub!" Jason began rubbing the area around his tailbone, hoping it would ease the pain of landing on the hard floor.

"I do apologize for the sudden invitation. However, an important mission has begun, and I require your assistance." Jason's jacket came slowly sliding down the tube behind him, so he grabbed it and put it back on before sitting down on the edge of the cushion.

"Okay, but why do I have to be the one to help you out with this?" Judging from Jerry's relaxed tone, Jason figured that the mission couldn't be too serious, which meant that they had hundreds, maybe even thousands of other agents who could help just as much, if not more.

"Well, ever since you outed Tad as a traitor with the evidence of his illegal deals, I've been short one right-hand man. Usually, I can get by easily, but this mission requires a second person to make sure it goes over smoothly."

Jason remembered Tad quite well. He was a junior agent who was exceptionally talented. He was ranked A-tier, and was thought to be best suited for being Jerry's personal assistant. That is, until Jason uncovered evidence of Tad making deals with criminals to look better in front of Jerry. Ultimately, it was his hubris and need for attention that got him caught by the S-tier spy he hated so much. With Tad out of the picture, the only agent who could handle Jerry's workload was Jason, although Jerry would rather do it himself than deal with Jason's antics all the time. The 16-year old spy was known to be a bit goofy sometimes.

"Yeah, alright. I guess that makes sense. So what's so important that you had to interrupt my sleep schedule? Again?" As Author asked, a screen lowered from the ceiling and the lights dimmed.

"For many years now, we have been monitoring three potential spies for recruitment. We believed we would have to recruit them one at a time, but it seems they have all arrived in Beverly Hills for the first year of highschool. This presents an amazing opportunity, so me and you will go to Beverly Hills and conduct a test to see if they really are spy material."

As Jerry explained the situation, three faces appeared on the screen. "Their names are Sam, Clover, and Alex. We'll be leaving in ten minutes."

Jerry exited the room, presumably to check something in his office, which gave Jason some time to read up on the girl's files. Apparently, Sam had been scouted as a spy candidate for her amazing intelligence, managing to solve a Rubik's cube in under a minute at 7 years old. Clover had demonstrated stealth skills at a young age, being able to steal her mother's fashion magazines from right under her nose. Alex had demonstrated unparalleled physical skills, including strength, gymnastics, etc. From what Jason deduced from the files, he figured these girls would word best in a team. "I guess the best way is to recruit for them at the same time."

As the clock showed eight minutes had passed, Jason put the folders back down and made his way to the hangar bay and met up with Jerry. "Everything we need to enact the plan has already been prepared at the site. We'll arrive at the safe house in 2 hours, then leave at 8 am the next morning." Jason nodded before they both entered the plane, with him taking the co-pilot's seat. Jerry got nauseous if he wasn't the one flying.

"Already, let's go recruit some 16 year old girls from Beverly Hills to be international spies."

"Targets are converging on location. Get ready to begin the operation." A WOOHP agent that was monitoring the three girls' positions notified Jerry and Jason of their positions. WOOHP had used a series of "coincidences" to lead the three girls to the same street, where everything had been set up.

"Sir, are you sure about this? I don't know if a public execution is the best way to recruit these three." Arthur called out to his boss over the radio from across the street. Jerry was disguised as a window cleaner high up on a building, using his mop as a secret camera to keep an eye on things. Across the street was Jason, who was on top of the sushi restaurant, ready to do his part. "Do not worry, Jason. I can personally assure you that this plan will work nearly flawlessly."

"Wait, nearly?"

"No time for that now, the operation is a go!"

Jason looked down, spotting Sam, Clover, and Alex. They were already beginning to separate, so he didn't have much time. Sighing to himself, Jason took out his laser cutter and began cutting the giant sushi roll off of its metal chopsticks. Seeing that the girls were about to get away, he dropped the chopsticks onto the ground in front of them, stopping them in their tracks. "Whoa, what the?!" Clover screamed in surprise, being pulled back just in time by Alex to not get crushed. 'Seriously, they'll be okay, right?!'

Jason got behind the sushi roll and pushed it with all his strength, allowing it to fall off the roof of the building. Once again, the girls ducked out of the way as the sushi roll passed by, rolling down the street away from them. Jason reached up to his ear piece and said; "Sir? The sushi roll is going the wrong way."

"Don't worry, we have precautions for that."

As Jerry said that, a flimsy looking poll suddenly shot out of the street, bending when being pushed by the sushi roll, but ultimately springing forward again, causing the sushi roll to begin making its way back towards the trio. Seeing the impending doom making its way towards them, they began running away. However, the roll quickly caught up to them. Jason turned away to avoid watching something gruesome, but when he turned back, the girls had somehow ended up on top of the sushi roll. Down the street, WOOHP agents had gathered a bunch of stray animals and released them right in the path of the runaway roll.

The animals quickly ran across the street, except for a small, admittedly cute baby pig. Seeing the new danger, Sam devised a plan to stop the roll. Clover took off her super long belt and handed one end to Alex, who jumped on top of the arch going over the street and wrapped the belt around it. Then, Sam jammed the buckle into the roll and jumped off with Clover. Jason watched as the roll was suddenly pulled on by the belt, causing it to stop abruptly just before hitting the pig. Alex jumped off of the arch and picked up the pig, holding it tightly.

"Huh. They really did it. Interesting."

The trio collapses onto the grass, panting and sweating like they just ran a marathon. Bonding over their shared life or death experience, the three girls seem to get to know one another as Jason makes his way up to Jerry. "Hmm… It seems I was right." Jerry turns off the camera and presses the button for the cradle system to bring them back up to the top of the building.

"I have to hand it to you, Jerry. You really know how to pick 'em!"

WOOHP FILES: JASON WELLS

Age: 16

Occupation: WOOHP Spy

Spy Ranking: S Tier

Psych Eval: While he seems to be immature and childish, Jason has demonstrated incredible cognitive abilities, as he was the one who built most of the WOOHP prototypes. Along with his intelligence, Jason also demonstrates full mastery of most martial arts techniques, and possesses incredible athletic abilities. While he does act immature most of the time, he can stand on business when needed, and always performs his office duties to the best of his abilities in a timely manner.

Weakness: While he does not seem to have any noticeable physical weaknesses, it has been observed on multiple occasions that Jason cares deeply for his friends, family, and colleagues. He also seems to care deeply about the civilian population, as it has been noted that he is willing to sacrifice himself in order to ensure the safety of everyone he protects.

Danger Level: 0 (10)

While Jason possesses no ill-will towards the innocent or even towards most criminals, a genetic copy may very well pose a risk to the entire world if not trained properly.

Spy Factor Genes: 27

The average WOOHP agent possesses around 5-6 spy genes in each strand of DNA. Even the most accomplished spies have only 13-14 spy genes. However, for whatever reason, Jason seems to possess 27 spy genes in each strand of DNA. This makes his potential limitless.

Note: Study the reason for why Jason has so many spy genes.
