Howdy all! Figured it'd be time to give some character development to the new crew that came in. Yep, you're learning about the decks of the StH inspired group.

But before that, I want to address a reviewer. They constantly point out a 'plot hole' from Emperor in Ch. 45. Hamon should be a Divine Hierarchy level matching or higher then Dreadroot. I do not know where you got that, maybe on YGOpro, something I have not checked. I only used the pro effects for the Wicked Gods because the Manga effects of the Wicked Gods were clear as mud. I used the actual Anime Effects for the Three Sacred Beasts and they have not shown any kind of DH level.

For the second 'plot holes', Yes, the Signer Dragons are one of a kind BUT the Signers and Dark Signers are not gonna be a thing given that the Earthbounds are still ASLEEP. And I have never been told how long 5Ds and GX is. Some say twenty years, but I ask this then.

WHERE IS MOKUBA KAIBA?You know, the decade younger brother of Seto Kaiba?

He should be the one running Kaiba Corp NOT whoever was the main antagonist in 5D's. Since he's not around, I have reached the conclusion that 5D's is set some time AFTER the main and GX cast have PASSED AWAY! This is just me, it could be different for the rest of the fans but for the sake of THIS fanfiction timeline, they are FIFTY YEARS APART. As for Trudge looking like Yugi's high school bully, Genetics, learn it! He could be the Grandson or Great Grandson of whoever that guy was.

A bright day greeted the students of Central DA. Students went to classes and joined up with friends. In one class, Maurice groaned, listening to his French Teacher, Bonaparte. The class was being taught various phrases in French, the short man walking around and helping some of the struggling students. Said man stopped at Maurice's desk.

"Monsieur Oglive? Iz the lesson not to your liking?" Bonaparte asked, concerned.

Maurice shook his head, replying in chopped French. Bonaparte chuckled, shaking his head.

"It iz good that you managed to reply in French, butchered though it was." The man said, heading back.

Maurice sighed, slumping back into his seat. It was gonna be a long day.

EODGX

Maurice had arrived back at his dorm, Slifer Red to see everyone there. Salome walked up giving him a kiss.

"Rough day?" She asked.

A nod was all the answer she got. Jaden walked up then, crossing his arms.

"Alright, I know you freshmen, but not what led you to come to Central or why you took up dueling. I did this last year with my year mates to get to know them better and how to better prep their decks. So during this first meeting of this year's study group, I want you to tell me what deck you use, why you duel and what made you come to Central."

The Freshmen all got up and gathered around the Central Top. Maurice decided to go first.

"I took up dueling to just have fun. I use a Speedroid deck, its one of the new Synchro decks out there. I heard Central had more to offer in terms of sports then the other Academies so I came here."

"What Sport do you do?" James asked.

Maurice smirked. The sport he loved the most was Track and Field. Jaden smiled, nodding. Central had a Track and Field team that met on Fridays and the Weekend and were looking for new tryouts. Maurice smiled widely at that.

Jaden turned to Anthony, the boy squeaking in slight fear.

"Pardon moi, I took up dueling to better protect moiself. I waz bullied a bit. Moi deck is Gem-Knights, a Fusion deck."

Jaden frowned, telling Anthony that if anyone gave him grief to let him know. Anthony shook his head.

"Non, but merci, monsieur Yuki. I must be able to stand up on my own two feet, no?"

Jaden looked conflicted for a bit but then nodded.

Anthony had been a coward of his little group when younger and this made Maurice wince. He had been the one that picked on Anthony or 'Ant' as he had called him a lot.

Ronald said that he had come to Central to learn how to program. He was looking at making a living creating computer games or programs for the Duel Disk systems. His deck was mostly consisted with Aqua decks like Mako Tsuanmi's, an inspiration to him.

Miles came to learn how to create new tech or improve current tech. He used a Scrap deck, one of the new Synchro decks out there.

Bonnie had actually come to Central because of Anthony. But after being here for a few days, she was looking into becoming a hairstylist. Her deck was an Elemental Hero Deck, the Nature Heroes.

That made Jaden look up.

"The Nature Heroes? They're pretty powerful."

"That they are. That they are." Bonnie said, smiling.

Fiona took over then.

"I came here to get away from my past and to join Miles. Not sure what I want yet, but I may go Pro. I use a Burn Deck." Fiona said, patting her deck box.

Salome went last. She actually had come to take the leadership and politic courses. She was looking to become a lawyer OR a leader of their Senate. Her deck was Black Luster Soldier.

That made Jaden's eyes to widen. He knew of the new support cards for BLS, but never had met a duelist who used them. Salome pulled out her deck, showing them to the King. He saw it then. A man in armor appearing behind the girl and bowing to him. He smiled, looking at Salome.

"You have a powerful ally in this deck." Jaden said.

Nodding, she put it away. Here, Jaden crossed his arms. Now hearing their reasons and their decks, all he needed to do now was watch them duel.

"Alright. I'll be having you face off against several former Reds turned Ra Yellows. Get ready to duel!"

The group smiled. This was what it was all about!

EODGX

Several hours later, the group were talking with Jaden. He pointed out some weaknesses in Ronald's and Anthony's decks, suggesting some cards he had. The two took them and thanked the king. For Miles and Maurice's decks, he couldn't do much given that the Synchro's were new. That was fine with the two, they'd adjust when they could.

Fiona was standing with her arms crossed, frowning. Jaden noticed.

"Fiona...that deck...did you make it for some reason?"

Fiona nodded, stating it was something her...her ex suggested for her. Here, Jaden frowned.

"Okay, we're gonna need to find something for you then. Something that resonates with YOUR soul, not your past."

Fiona nodded, thanking him.

Bonnie and Salome's decks were at their current level perfect. The two girls smiled, thanking the king. Still, he had some suggestions for them.

As the day ended, they went back to their dorms, happy to have learned somethings from the Central Top.

Short and sweet. but I do need some help with regards to Fiona's deck. A burn deck I feel is too...generic. Got any ideas on what Deck Archtype she should actually have? Let me know in a review!
