Got something to address here, everyone. To the ones who left some flaming reviews last chapter, I got two words to say to you all.

Thank you.

Yes, you read that right. I am thanking them. The reason is because they are helping me. How? By making me more determined to finish this and my other stories. They are resolving my will with each hateful word and review. I'm not gonna please everyone in the Fanfiction community with my stories. This is something I learned very early on not just on FF, but in life. So again, thank you for reminding me of those early lessons and for empowering me to continue on writing. On to some details of the chapter!

This chapter features Fonda's first official date with Jaden. Now Jaden is legal dating age, so no complaints on that please.

The day was a beautiful one. Given that it was the weekend, many were taking advantage of the weather. Many were at the beaches, enjoying the surfing. Others were wondering around the edges of the island, taking in the sights and scenes.

But for one woman, it was her first big date. Fonda Fontaine had woken up and gotten dressed. She wore a denim jacket over a black short sleeved shirt, blue jeans while still keeping her blue high heeled boots on. She slipped a black choker around her neck, chuckling to herself as she was reminded of some new trend on the internet.

With how big that boy is, he'll do more then snap my choker when he's ready. Fonda giggled to herself.

She had to be extremely careful. While Jaden was now of dating age, a teacher dating a student was still frowned on, even if Jaden wasn't technically a student given his pro status. Still, it made it all the more thrilling.

After checking herself over one last time, she gave herself a playful spank and headed out.

Journeying to the Theater was memorable. A lot of the students and even some of the staff stopped and stared, some even catcalling her. Fonda just smiled and hurried on. She arrived at the theater, spying Jaden nearby. The plan was for her to choose a movie, he'd follow in after.

Looking over her selections, she saw a lot of action movies and rom-coms were out. But what she wanted wasn't those. She was a big horror fan and wanted one, if only to use it as an excuse to cuddle with the boy. Finally, she saw one. Asking for a ticket, she paid the price and headed for the theater. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Jaden walking up and getting the same thing before she entered the near black room.

Fonda sat up in the back row, looking around. Not a lot of the students or staff were at the movie she had chosen. Oh there were maybe three others, but they were far down, closer to the screen. She heard a throat clearing and looked up, smiling.

"Jaden."

"Fonda. I see you didn't get some treats so I sprang for some." Jaden said, holding up a large tub of popcorn and two drinks.

Smiling, she thanked him, gesturing to a seat. The king sat down, placing the cups between the two of them. Taking a sip, she discovered it was fruit punch sparkling water. She smiled. She never did tell Jaden what her faveorite drink was but it seemed that he was erring on the side of caution.

"I'm sorry, Jaden, I should have told you my drink choice in advance. Still, not a bad call on what you chose." Fonda said in a low voice, the lights dimming.

The teen waved it off, stating it was fine. The two settled in to watch the movie.

Fonda was blushing up a storm as she sat in Jaden's lap like a scared little girl. There was a scene in the movie where one of the characters had been swallowed alive by an innocent looking painting, their face being the last thing the rest of the characters and audience saw before the jaws snapped shut. Fonda was always scared of seeing things eaten alive and had scrambled into Jaden's lap. Said boy was currently rubbing her back while he watched on, his face impassive.

Fonda wasn't gonna lie, the gentle ministrations were quite soothing. Biting her bottom lip, she debated with herself. Did she kiss him now or later? She looked at his face, his golden eyes glowing in the darkness and light of the screen. One thought entered her head as she stared closely at him.

Screw it!

She planted her lips firmly over his his, her closed eyes missing the widening of his. He soon relaxed into the kiss and returned it, the two losing themselves into it. Fonda felt like her entire world stopped and held itself in place during the long kiss. Time resumed after they seperated, the lights coming back on. Quickly realizing someone could see, Fonda reluctantly got off his lap. The two walked out, seperatly and once got out of the theater, walked together.

As they walked, Fonda was blushing up a storm over her position on his lap.

"Sorry, Jaden...I have a phobia of seeing people get eaten alive..."

"Its fine...I freaked a little too. Not too big a fan of modern horror."

The King told her he preferred the very early days of Horror when they threw in tension that had you on the edge of your seat. The Vampire Lord, The Wolf, The Monster, that was REAL horror in his mind. Modern Horror just seemed to be how over the top gore it could be, how many ways could a person die, that kind of thing. Fonda agreed to a point. There were some Modern Horrors that did what Jaden said but not many.

They reached the Girls' dorm, Jaden hanging back and giving Fonda a kiss on the back of her hand.

"Thank you for the great day, Fonda."

"My pleasure, my king."

The two went their separate ways, planning their next outing with the other.

Short and sweet, just like the last one. Hope you all enjoyed!
